Tasty Yaki Chicken bowl. Crispy onion rings.
Grilled chicken with brown rice and potato salad so yummy
Delicious food at reasonable prices.
A cheeseburger with a chicken breast, how could you do better?

Great food. Great price. Always will love this place.
Amazing steak and chicken bowls. I absolutely love!love!love! their bulldogs also yummmy!!
The burgers are so so good.. you have to have a bulldog... overall great.
great food right price!!! I visit it each time i'm in Tujunga, CA
This place is a real treat. Must try the bulldog with some froggy sauce, bomb!
Great food, the Dog Pound is awesome & nice employees too!
Delicious food at a delicious price. I always go with a Yako burger with a Dog pound.
Really good chicken! They serve big portions too!!
Great food. I always order a couple bulldogs.
Place is always a great stop for some great rice bowls.
Love this place! They’re super helpful with my picky order!
I love Yakis!!! Amazing food and decent portions!
The food is good, the service is great.
Always great food at a fair price.
The chicken bowls are perfect, always made to order and so fresh. The staff is friendly. You wont be disappointed.
Delicious food. The teriyaki sauce is amazing and the staff are some of the nicest people. Highly recommend this place.
I love this place. Get a bulldog, yakisito, whatever. Workers make great food and always pleasant. Bring back Mr. Pibb.
Food is always delicious, the service is friendly and they ste quick to whip up orders.
A local staple whether it be a Yaki burger or Yaki bowl this place is sure to satisfy that teriyaki fix anyone might be craving. They also double fry their French fries just as they should be and not soggy.Bon Apetit
Good chicken teriyaki in the area. I usually don't get stuff like their deep fried bulldog, but some friends love it.
My personal favorite fast food. Great teriyaki bowls and the #1 burger around.
I enjoyed there large chicken bowl with rice. The food and service was good.
This place is amazingly delicious it is one of a kind. Make sure you ask for bulldog sauce 👌
Delicious burgers you have to try the Bulldogs and the yaketito 🤤 uffff
Very good chicken bowls with brown rice and steam veggies 😋👌😀😍
I have never been here before & it was delicious. The staff was very friendly & knowlegdable. Will be a returning customer.
The food is amazing. Bulldogs are a must try along with the dipping sauce.
Harry was a sweetheart. I love the food here. The service was fast and friendly.
Always a go to spot and good customer service. Food is fresh made and tasty.
When it comes to good places with service and so forth, it needs to be put out there for the recognition more so than not. I am not a person to overly hype about places, but their quality of service and food has always been consistently good. My Family and I have been coming here for over 30yrs for that reason. It is a great local place that is known for their Yaki's Burger, Teriyaki Bowls, and Bull Dogs. There is only a few locations of theirs and I suggest if you around the area of one to try it out please.
Food is always hot and ready, portions are hefty so you'll always be full! Prices are fair, and the staff is quick and nice! Love to go here for comfort food, but they also serve healthy alternatives.
Picked up some dinner for the wife and I. Its good stuff, was expecting something less bit it beat our expectations. I choose the steak and chicken combo plate and it was good, she had the yaki chicken and it was good as well.
The portion sizes are huge. I fed three people off of the square container size alone of a second tier meat order and the upgrade was only 75 cents more for the size plus the extra meat. Don't let this place on the hill fool you. Their food is amazing. My brother-in-law got a bacon cheeseburger thinking that it was going to be miniscule in proportion with the image that they had on the menu and let me tell you how mistaken we were. The hamburger that he got was huge. Think of the biggest hamburger that you can find at any restaurant or fast food chain and then throw those out the window because this thing is bigger. And if you're looking for taste, then let me tell you, I have never seen someone's eyes popping out of their head after they took their first bite of a hamburger, but I swear this legit happened. He could not put the thing down. He grubbed his heart out and I am proud to say that next time I have to head that way that I am definitely going to stop on by cuz man you can't beat the value that this place brings. Cheap and great food. I'm always down.
Ive been passing this place for years withouy a second tgough. Been livint in tujunga for 17 years, how did I never think to rry this place. The food is delicious and unbelievably inexpensive. I couldnt believe the serving size and quolity for the price. Awesome place. The employees are super nice too.
The beef burgers are delicious and so is the teriyaki bowls l. Although the chicken n bun burger is a bit dry but the great place to hit for a quick lunch
Great food at a fair price, but skip this place if you are on limited time, as you are served in the order that the restaurant took your order, absolutely no faster than that, sorry to say!
They have a great selection of teriyaki bowls and burgers. I also like getting the bulldog. The staff provided good customer service.
Its great here! The food is magical. Thier teriyaki bowls are absolutely delicious. Would come here all the time if I could
Locals love it. That's me. I wish I could love it as my own business. We should start a go fund me to renovate this family owned jewel of the foothills
Totally satisfied with the service at both locations. I drive out from the city of Montebello just for their Yako Burger. Well worth the drive!
We live a good 2 hours away but whenever we’re in town we came here. It’s great food, different from most places and friendly service.
The yako chicken beef patty burger is excellent, the bulldog is nice. The beef and chicken teriyaki bowl is 🔥🍔
This is quite possible the best local restaurant that most people that do not live in the area do not know about. I have been going here for decades (between all of the locations) and still go by even though I no longer live in the area. ALL OF THE FOOD is good and worth the price. They have friendly service and hands down the best Teriyaki sauce anywhere!
Absolutely love this place... my favorite location is on Foothill Blvd. The restaurant is out dated however the food makes up for it. It can use a face-lift.
Tasty, and great portions of food for the money. We enjoyed the teriyaki bowls (chicken, and beef)! They offer a lot of chicken/beef in the jumbo size; and it is the best value per dollar. We elected for the cabbage rather than the potato salad. That was good too. The teriyaki sauce was a great one, not too thick, and pretty damn tasty. The fries were solid texture, not too flavorful…we added seasoning salt at home and they were perfect! We also got the fried pudding dessert…unlike anything we had had before, but not sure a staple. The spot has indoor and outdoor seating. Def some strange decor. Pretty solid staff. Order was up in about 6min.. right on foothill, small parking east of the restaurant, and some curb side upfront. There menu has a ton of options…burgers, fries, and other non-teriyaki items. We are not sure what the “box” charge was, but we incurred it on all our teriyaki bowls; still pretty reasonably priced. Reminded us of the Gushi Teriyaki spot in Westwood with less teriyaki/traditional menu options (kolbi, Kim chi, Korean short ribs, bulgogi, etc.).
Tried the Aloha chicken sandwich ½ pound for the first time ( and added avocado) very good very juicy chicken has that great grilled char Flavor fresh off the grill taste. I've been here many times for their bowls and they are good but this chicken sandwich is awesome worth trying. Fries are really good too fresh ,hot crispy on the outside and soft and yummy on the inside.
We have been dining at yakis for over 10 years. The quality of food has remained consistent, affordable with extremely large portions and a unique flavor of its own. There are 3 locations within the Los Angeles area where locals can enjoy this hidden gem. #food @dining 👍👍 :-)
The food here is SO GOOD! I recommend calling and ordering ahead of time because it does take awhile

Very good chicken rice bowls. Better for me . Much cheaper than McDonald's.
Food is amazing!!! Parking can be tough for us older people...if there is a spot on the street take it!! There is a parking lot, but it is a pretty steep hill getting up to the street.
I truly like Yaki’s and the way the food is prepared. If you’re under 21, you probably won’t notice much difference, and to be fair, the flavors are good. I’m writing this simply as constructive feedback — it’s completely up to you whether you want to act on it or not. I still enjoy Yaki’s, but I only eat here a couple of times a year now because I personally have a harder time digesting some of the current ingredients. The reality is that people in this area are willing to pay more for higher-quality beef and cleaner ingredients, especially in La Crescenta. The neighborhood has changed a lot — it’s no longer the same immigrant community it was in the 1990s with lower-cost housing. Today, it’s become a much more affluent area with higher expectations around food quality. It’s also worth noting that La Crescenta locals have not traditionally supported fast-food style chains. Businesses like McDonald’s, Burger King, Pizza Hut, and Papa John’s didn’t last here for a reason. Residents generally avoid fast-food quality and prefer better ingredients. I genuinely believe Yaki’s could be even more successful and stand out for another decade and beyond by upgrading just a couple of things — better quality beef for the bowls and higher-quality (possibly organic) hot dogs for Bulldog. With that small change, this place could be next level for the area See you the spring I am in a meh coma

Solid teriyaki place. They cooked up good quality chicken and steak to order, served with some veggies and on rice, I was happy.
They have amazing terrayki chicken in my opinion. Highly recommend it
He loves this place. So took him for his BDay. 🎊😊
Staff is always friendly, fast service... have been coming here for years!
Gotta get the Bulldog! Don't come if you want anything healthy, but the food is delicious.
This rating is all about the food. The actual storefront is a dump but the 'A' health rating and great teriyaki keep me coming back!
Can't say anything bad about this place. Everything is delicious from the teriyaki chicken, beef, bulldog, zucchinni, EVERYTHING. I'm getting hungry.
Its okay. Disappointed that the Burbank/La Crescenta stores are not really consistant. Burbank is better!
Food was good . Service was okay. They did not have outside seating when I went.
You go for the food! Awesome chicken bowls and best sauce for a bowl ever! Love the bowls. Go for the bowls.
Love the food , but some of the people that work here shouldn't be talking to the public .
The chicken sandwich for $6.75 Thursday (today's) special was a good deal. A large soft roll sandwich with a grilled chicken, tomatoes, lettuce, onions, special sauce and teriyaki sauce. However, the teriyaki was very salty and the bun was just plain, lacking oumph. It had the potential to be 5 star, but didn't have what it takes to be 5 stars.
Excellent burgers and teriyaki bowls! I have been coming here couple times a month since I was a kid! The owner is really nice and comes in from time to time! This is the 2nd best location. Best one is the owners first spot in Burbank!!
Yaki's provides good food at a reasonable price and quick turn around. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I am never disappointed when I go there.
It's really hard to say anything bad about my 5-6 visit to Yaki's. It is a gem in it's own right that shines around lunch time. Yaki's food is good. It isn't "blow you out of the water" good, but it's good. A classic kind of good that has long been missed, I have not had a burger like Yaki's since I was maybe 10. And the prices might as well be as if I was 10 again, you won't find a more affordable hamburger for the quality and size.

Food is a good value. Staff is friendly. Place is run-down and not a good sit-down choice.
I have enjoyed yakis to varying degrees for many years. It's been a staple and usually the food is fairly good. Thier teriyaki sauce is what takes it to a better place. If you like spicy, you can also try thier Bravo sauce which has a spicy cilantro kick to it. I enjoy my bowl with a scoop of thier potato salad. Also, if you want a little something sweet, the yakisito fits the bill. It's tapioca pudding in a egg roll wrapper.I only ever take my food to go, as the shop itself is not so comfy. Also service can be a bit off at times, especially if they're busy and English communication can occasionally be an issue. Overall though, give it a try if you want some pretty good teriyaki in our area.
I've been coming here for a long time. Great service, great food, can't go wrong with this spot. Enjoy!!

Food is ok A couple of unique food options Friendly staff
Not bad. Could be cleaner. The guy working there was really nice and helpful. He gave us sample to try.
This used to be my go to spot. The meat wasn’t that great. Cabbage veggies were not good. Potato Salad was good though.
It's a good place to eat but sometimes their chicken is too dried
The woman at the cashier had bad energy bad service very rude. Bad vibes when you go inn. I regretted coming here but I was there so I ordered . I'll post to see if the food is really worth the bad service
It was splendid, food was so good n more then enuff for me☠️,n a different friend too.ate my leftovers...two thumbs in....☠️
The teriyaki, whether it’s chicken or beef, is charred (not in a good way IMO) and tasteless, seems barely marinated before being grilled. I didn’t try the other stuff, but still very curious where all those 5 star reviews come from. The portion and price are okay.
The Bulldog is a great idea. It could have benefited with more cheese. 6/10 is the rating I gave it when I was asked.

Food is wonderful. Service not so much. The kid working the counter spoke so fast and mumbled so badly, i had to ask many times for water and finally gave up. When the food came without water I revisited this, the gentleman serving the food pushed my back to the original kid. I pushed hard to only get the answer “we dont have water”. How do they wash the dishes? 😔 Sadly, this place is close to a customer but the experience was so poor i probably wont be back. Management needs to train their staff about the customer’s experience. Edit: typos The food is wonderful.

It wasnt cool inside,, ac ?? If its hot outside..go somewhere else to dine// food is average
The mixed plate was bland and uninteresting. Somewhat fast food, but that's about it.
This place smells really bad every time I occasionally go, like rotten chicken. This place has so much potential but it's not maintained and the ladies are bit rude.
First off, this place is much more of a Mexican restaurant than Japanese. It's really just bbq or grilled meats with rice, cabbage and teriyaki sauce. I ordered their steak sandwich (#5) but it came out way overcooked; it was tough, had very charred pieces and was just bland. The portion of meat is generous but the meat just wasn't good. My friend's dish, chicken, was also overcooked and unappetizing. Also, the prices aren't great
Will not be going back! Food could of been fresher and portions bigger, I ordered a big was very small, would of loved to see the small, probably the size of one of their sauce container! !
Don't get beef my dog couldn't even chew it and he ran away from it.. never again yuck
BURGER WAS ROTTEN.. DID NOT EVEN APOLOGIZE! UNACCEPTABLE! WOULD RATHER STARVE THAN TO TRY THIS PLACE AGAIN!
Lady in the front doesn't know what she's doing and very rude. Will not be returning.
Chicken and steak were burnt, makes waba grill and flame broiler look godly. Sorry but won't be eating here again.
Sadly i couldn't order as they changed their hours again. Beware they close at 8p . NO EXCEPTIONS, believe me i tried.
For the amount of food you get an the price you might as well go to another restaurant like panda, waba or even yoshinoya. Opted for no rice with veggies n charged me $75 for 2 broccoli sprouts
Service is bad I had to repeat myself 3 times and employee got mad then set my food in counter without telling me my food ready not going back!!!
Not very clean. Food is sub par. Has REALLY weird paintings on the wall that make enjoying the food even harder.

Ordered through DoorDash, no option on DoorDash to include sauce, wrote notes everywhere I could. Still no sauce. And the bulldogs were soggy… There goes that 23$… When I called up to complain the lady didn’t seem to pay much attention to what I said. I recommend just not eating here…
the amount of food they give you for "yumbo" their biggeat size is a rip off. never coming here again. they use the size bowl as the regular for almost twice the price.
