Best donuts I’ve ever had. 35+ years going here.
Everybody goes crazy over the national chain donut that starts with a "K", but if you haven't stopped by Foster's and grabbed a donut from here, you are missing out. Their choices of donuts are amazing, the flavors will make you want to come back for more. It maybe a little bit more of a drive for us on a weekend morning, but it is worth every second we spend on the road to get there.
Bring cash and a sweet tooth! My go-to place for donuts in the Foothills communities. I have tried many of the area donuts and Foster's consistently tops the rest. Friendly and helpful staff, clean shop, at a good price. Parking can be rough at peak times.
Ever since I bought donuts from Foster's I can't go anywhere else. The owners are super friendly and nice and the donuts are simply so good! The only problem I have now is that I am hooked and have to go at least three times a week to eat their delish donuts and Thai Tea Boba. I am happy they are always open.
Fosters donuts has the best donuts of any donut shop in Los Angeles county. I should know, I love donuts and try to stop at every donut shop I see. Their cronuts are easily worth 100 times what they cost and I would trade my daughter for one of their apple fritters.
Foster's Donuts have been around my whole life. That's nearly 38 years. Pretty much can't find a doughnut shop that compares to it. Far as I know, it is the only doughnut shop in the area that open 24 hours a day.
good price, rly good donuts (i’m eating them rn they’re so good), easy parking lot
So I live within 5 miles and if I'm hungry at night it's great because it's open 24 hours. So it's like a anytime you want desert or breakfast whatever floats your goat. But my Goat floats when I can get doughnuts whenever I want!
Used to come here all the time when I was younger. Open all day all night. They sell donuts and other goodies. If you can get in at the right hour when their donuts are fresh, they are the best.
When you want treat your self to some doughnuts Foster's delivers the best experience you'll ever have with a simple, unprentious, sprinkle doughnut. Their sprinkle doughnuts are pleasing to every sense. When you bite into one, you'll experience a slightly crispy skin that gives way to a light fluffy interior. Perfection! Don't forget to BRING CA$H! It's a consession I'm willing to live with to get my Foster's fix, but come on folks! This is the 21st century, it's time to get on with credit card transactions. We don't love your doughnuts because they are the cheapest, we love em because they are the best!
This is one of my favorite donut places in the area. Whether you want a quick morning breakfast, or a late night snack, this place is always there to deliver. My go to favorites are the chocolate bar and the plain cake.
My college friend always told me California had better donuts than the east coast. I didn't understand until I ate a glazed donut at Foster's Family Donuts. So good.
Growing up there were two places we'd get donuts from. One was here, at Foster's Family Donuts and the other was at a Chinese take out place down the street called Chore's. That one was convenient because it was a little closer, but the donuts weren't as good. I have since wondered how the owners decided on the name Chores for their little Chinese take-out place. Was the guy who opened it just so surprised and sick at the amount of chores he had to do to run a restaurant that he sarcastically called it Chores because that's all it was to him? Chore's was right across the street from a KFC that my dad absolutely hated. Now you have to understand my father was always a very even-tempered and patient man but the one thing that could always get him mildly-frustrated was having to go to that KFC. His main complaint was that every time he tried to order a specialty item like popcorn chicken they'd say "Oh we're out of that" like, every single time. He'd always come out of their just bitter and flustered which was funny because he was still holding a bucket of thighs and drumsticks but he'd say something under his breath like "knuckleheads!'" or "unbelievable!". Anyway, Foster's Family Donuts. It's located in what I like to call the Saturday Morning Dad Shopping Center cause it's right next to an O'Reilly Auto Parts and if there are two places you're most likely to find your dad on a Saturday morning it's in a donut shop or an auto parts store. Or a hardware store. I swear my dad lived for the chance to drag me or my brother to the hardware store on Saturday mornings and then spend at least an hour sorting through those little drawers of screws and bolts. Anyway the donuts here are good.
Hard to find but its worth it...they have great assortment of donuts... Only drawback is yu have to travel alitttle to get to them...They are about 40 mins away...😣😕...too bad really because they are a great tasting donut. Wish they were more my way...!!
Best donuts in the foothills. Best Apple fritters in CA. I bring back a box to San Francisco every visit.
Been coming here since I was a kid. Nothing else compares!!
Foster's has the best doughnuts in the area!! Not only is it open 24/7 but they are baking 24/7 as well so there is always fresh doughnuts!!
Best donut shop on foothill Blvd, best donut shop in Glendale area. Best donut shop period. Try the ham and cheese croissant
Donuts are good! This place has been around for a while. Always enjoy donuts from here
Overall, a great selection of donuts and good service
Yummy doughnuts and delish fruit smoothies! I’m glad they take Apple Pay! ($10 minimum)
First time here, and the donut that I chose was delicious. I got the glazed filled with raspberry. Got to admit, this is the best raspberry filling I’ve had in a donut before. It’s sweet but tangy with raspberry seeds (which I love). Also, the lady at the front was kind and didn’t rush me, which I always appreciate. Thanks for the great donut!
a late night beacon , fosters donuts is an oasis . i decided to go for a drive , nevermind it was 11 pm . up the 2 til it ended is where i ended up not sure how its just as it was . with out any other cars on the road it was easy to decide to take a look around this lil highway end town . glad i did because it was the lights i spotted first , lit up and sparkling , fosters donuts . i saw a few groups of people in the window which is always a good sign , a trusted establishment. once inside i immediately noticed that the cases were relatively bare except for say the random cinnamon roll or a few twists . luckily i noticed the racks in the back , full of fresh donuts ! i asked for one of the nearest ones , a cake donut . divine ! crispy outside soft warm inside , pleasantly spongy and very cakey . ive been to three weddings this summer and none of the cakes were as good as this . one of the best $1.80s ive spent this week . as LA slumbers fosters makes magic . i will be back very soon !
They are 24/7 so if you have the late night craving this is your spot! This place has THE best donuts and service !!! Prices are fair and the establishment is clean
Best donut shop in LA. My favorite is the chocolate glaze, strawberry crueler, & pink frosting with rainbow sprinkles. Open 24hrs
Foster's has the best donuts in town. Correction: Best coffee shop donuts in the world ( and I eat a lot of donuts). Their chocolate glazed and strawberry crullers are THE BEST. Foster's is open 24 hrs and at almost always has a fresh batch of somethin'
My mother used to go here and is always raving about it. I happened to be nearby and decided to check it out. She was right. The donuts are delicious.

Amazing, fresh donuts! Really good hot chocolate. The owners/workers are the sweetest people. They give alot of extra stuff too. I always drive way far to come to this one because there's no other like it!
We love Foster’s Donuts as our neighborhood donut shop! Our kids ask specifically for their donuts for birthdays and other special occasions. We especially like the glazed and the maple bar. Always fresh and delicious.
Store clean and friendly. Apple fritters are amazing here. Just moved back to the area after being gone for 20 years. My dad used to take me there as a kid sometimes otw to school when we didn't have breakfast....great memories and best doughnuts.
Donuts are NOT created equal. If you go a hankerin for the very best donuts ever this is the place. Family's been going here for 40 years, hasn't changed ever. Thank you for dedicated years of deliciousness!!!!!
These were some of the best donuts I've ever had. The apple fritter was 10/10—they even asked if we wanted it crispy. Best decision ever. The chocolate bar melted in my mouth. Can't wait to come back.
Great donuts and great service. Lily, the owner, is super kind. I definitely recommend Foster's Donuts.

I'm giving four stars to the DONUTS, this place has BEST FRIED SUGAR ROLLS EVER. Foster's would have gotten 5 stars, but my experience today ruffled my feathers. So , I understand coffee takes a few minutes to brew and was delighted at the thought of my gloriously hot Java and that apple fritter . Now after paying 35 dollars for our botty, we head out to the car as the shop is now filling up, and the Asian woman behind the counter reminds us it will be a few minutes as we head out. As time passes, I look on and envy my boyfriend devouring his pink French dount gussling cold refreshing milk, it's coffee time! As I walk back into Foster's to claim the large hot cup of coffee on the counter waiting for me..... panic sets in. I stand there and notice the cream and sugar is behind the Asian woman piling donuts into a pink box, so I have to ask . Being told to wait, even longer has me growing irritated, especially when the very large woman being helped thinks it time to inform me it's her turn and to wait as she must pay first and I'm to close...and I shouldn't of walked out. *** Wait I already paid for my purchase and just would like my coffee fixens, so I can join my boyfriend now waiting 15 minutes for me in the truck. *** I was not impressed with the Asian woman behind the counter , she apologized to the mean large woman and ignored me.... rude..... so rude.... Pouring my cream and sugar seemed a tast to tall and tedious.... sorry to of ask for coffee, which any donut shop should of had brewed and ready. We are going to stick with the late night guy, when all the donuts are available with friendly service.
Donuts are very delicious. Prices are a little high but it's understandable with rent and leases being so high in the area. Loved their filled selection
Just the fact that there's a place we can go in La Crescenta 24 hours is a great plus. Didn't give 5 stars because it's basically a wifi connection away from feeling like a 24 hour Starbucks
The donuts here are amazimg! I don't know what they put in the frosting, but it is heavenly. The coffee is good and cheap. There could be better seating.
They have a huge selection of donuts and pastries. They have decent cheap coffee and are really fast to get you your order.
Their really good doughnuts. I wouldn't spent that much money just for doughnuts but their actually pretty good. Personally this is a place to go to buy single different types of doughnuts instead of getting dozens like at krispe Kreme
Foster’s donuts has a large selection of donuts and pastries. The store is clean, open 24 hours and accepts credit cards with $10 minimum order. We ordered the Apple Fritter, which was delicious. We were asked if we liked our fritter more crispy or regular, which was a nice option. The prices were a bit high, but as many say, you’re paying for quality. The transaction with the sales staff was efficient. Overall it was a positive experience.
Great location, open 24 hours. It’s cash only so I don’t stop as often as I would if it wasn’t. Delicious and fresh donuts every time. My favorite are the chocolate glazed! They have lots of options.
Working for 24hrs at Foster Donuts. Incredible. I don’t order donuts only lotto scratcher tickets only!! I like the lady so much!! Very kindly & friendly!! Plenty of parking space!! Must visit there again!! Not that busy in the afternoons!! The scent is nice & fresh!! Good job!!
Easy, and friendly donut spot. Please be advised it is cash only!! Parking lot out front shared with an auto parts shop.

My first experience was normal, their donut was ok, only thing I didn’t like was cash only. My second time I went, the same owner giving me a attitude and their coffee is water down and expansive. The donut price is little more than I expected and it was cold and not as good as I had first time. I would not go there again. I guess their products wasn’t good as much because I get to witness how the owner treat his workers and customers.

They have fancy donuts that are average in taste but with Beverly Hills prices. Customer service is really lacking here. Smiles go a long way with me & a "thank-you" come back again should be told to seal the deal. Got 2-B brutally honest. Not coming back again
It is cash only and there is an ATM on site. I stopped in because I have an obsession with finding a good fritter. Everything looked fresh. Their fritters looked like they would be good. Glistened with glaze and a toasty brown. I also got an apple filled pastry and a Ham & Cheese filled croissant in addition to two fritters. The apple filled pastry was very tasty. The ham and cheese was really big thought for a croissant it was a little flat and not very flaky. The cheese and ham were tasty but light in quantity for the price. The fritters were a let down since they looked so good. They were over fried and a little dense which made them greasy. I think that if they weren't fried quite so long they might have been better. I would go back to try some of the other donuts but overall I was not impressed with selection, quality or price. The service was acceptable over all.

I never thought I would have a bad experience at a donut shop considering my sweet tooth until now. First time wandering into this joint as I like to patronize small mom and pop places. I now regret walking into Foster's. The lady behind the counter does not smile or greet you. She just stares at you as you decide with this expression like she hates you or her job or both. The donuts are a whole other conundrum as I sit writing this with an upset stomach. I ordered an apple fritter and it wasn't until I got home that I realized it was overcooked, flat like a big cookie, and HARD as a rock. This seemed like a day old donut that sat in the fridge overnight. Mind you this was at 8am so you would think the donuts are fresh. I gave it a try to give them benefit of the doubt but could not get halfway through it before throwing it away in disgust. Between the lack of friendly service and the poor quality of the donut, I will steer clear of this place and head down the street for my sweet fix. I will be sure to tell my foodie friends in the area to go elsewhere. The plus side of this debacle though, it kept me from eating too much carbs and at least I found out the hard way at home near the toilet.
Gave her $70 worth of scratchers tickets, three times she tried to rip me off by stacking my tickets on top of each other. First she said I had $30 bucks, I said I have $70, than she said $40. I opened all the tickets in front of her so she finally said $70. I can't stand people who try to rip me off. I'll never visit this place again.
I being told to go there, because apparently that is the best donut shop in La Crescenta. People let me tell you something,: "IT IS NOT!" It is actually one of the worst donut shop in La Crescenta. "THE DONUTS ARE OLD"... Does are not fresh donuts. Because if you believe that does donuts they selling are fresh, you wrong.
I didn’t have cash so they lost a sale. I’m not paying their $2 ATM fee plus the $2 my bank charges for a $5 transaction. Who doesn’t take electronic payments in this day and age? Charge a 50 cent card transaction fee if you want but sheesh take cards.
