Ono Hawaiian BBQ

I want to thank the staff at this location I always have a fast pleasant experience and I appreciate it. I hate to butcher his name but Tonicci was extremely polite courteous and patient with me and my complicated order,the man is a saint and I believe he deserves a raise. Thank you very much and cheers to a happy future with Ono Hawaiian barbecue. 🙂

My brother had heart surgery just before Christmas. I order out. It makes a nice healthy lunch for 5 at home for the family.

Haven't been here for a while and decided to try again. Great food and service. Love the fact you get veggies instead of loads of rice with your meal.

My family and I recently moved to the area and we stumbled onto this store late at night looking for a nice place to have dinner at. Since it was our families first time going here we had tons of questions and the employee "Marina" displayed excellent customer service skills by happily answering and attending to our questions. A prime example of a great employee and Ono hawaiian BBQ should be lucky to have her. Will definetly be coming back.

They had good service. They were covid 19 compliant their bathrooms are clean and overall I had a good experience.

The staff here are also very kind and handle your food with care. I recommend ordering the number 44 which include chicken katsu, teriyaki chicken and beef with vegetables, rice and macaroni. But of course anything off of their menu would taste amazing.

Food is consistent good quality. The kalbi short ribs are always on point, and the staff has never messed up my order.

Food made to order and comes out hot and fresh. This place has done a good job of maintaining a consistent and clean operation. Even when it is busy they do pretty well to keep up with demand of regular walk-in orders as well as online and call in folks. I definitely recommend a call-in for larger orders and for dishes such as the short rib as it take a little more time....especially if you are in a rush at lunch time or even hours around dinner when they tend to be more busy.

Pretty descent prices and food

Pretty good stuff. The mini-meal is all I need. Recommended!

Been ordering online since the start of the pandemic. Good option if you like meat, macaroni salad and veggies. I recommend the BBQ beef mini meal (if your hungry) and beef or chicken musubi (if not super hungry). The island fire chicken has too much cumin and it tastes like the seasoning mix hasn't seen much cooking (like they cook the meat and then add the spice mix). We have not dined in at this location. You do need to speak up with your name on the order but we don't have any issue with picking up....I don't like the substitute Sriracha sauce in the packets. I miss the real stuff.

Good for, standard menu for the type of cuisine, and good customer service. The only thing missing here is "moco loco." If you haven't tried the Island Fire Chicken it has a definite kick but full of flavor. Have been here multiple times and will continue to come back. On a cautionary note an average meal will cost you anywhere from $9-$15 depending on your appetite.

Our chicken teriyaki was a bit salty. The macaroni salad was very tasty. Service was excellent.

I go to Ono Hawaiian BBQ because it's consistent. Never really a disappointment but I will mention that the beef at this spot was a little drier than normal which tells me it probably sat a little too long on the grill or in a warmer. Otherwise, good food and the cabbage was still crisp and the rice was fresh.

This chain Hawaiian restaurant hits the spot when you get the island crave. Friendly service but the rice on this visit was hard and not fluffy fresh. The chicken katsu was moist on the inside and nicely crusted. The BBQ chicken and beef was seasoned perfectly. Chill island music provide good vibes.

I love the food at this place. Portion sizes here are really good also. Get a real bang for your buck!.

Went to my favorite place, but today was not a good day to go. I ordered the seafood mix with grilled fish. About 12 other customers came in after and all got their food and sat down to eat, meanwhile 20 minutes later and I'm asking the girl Brigette that took my order about my order, then Brigette says it's coming and fish takes a little longer, then she gives another person there food. Now problem is I heard her ask the cook about my food after I asked about it and he said he will get it now. I told her to cancel the order and return my money. She got a little attitude and did as asked then tells the cook don't cook the fish after all which indicates he hadn't even started cooking it. It doesn't take 20 minutes to grill fish, and I probably would have waited if the girl had been honest or even tried to apologize or something but nope, she just continued being rude. Another customer asked how long I was waiting and was even surprised when she then was given her large order as I was waiting for the refund. The service is why I only gave 3 stars. The manager of this location should take a look at his staff.

Love the food. The service for phone orders could definitely be better. Called ahead, got to the restaurant waited for 15+ minutes to pay them waited another 5 to get my food that was sitting on the counter for longer than I had been there. Staff was nice but maybe need a better way or signage as to where phone orders are to wait to be charged.

I would like to say the place is good but the customer service from the manager is poor and sad for a Hawaiian fast food place. We Hawaiian no that the smile and welcome you provide make a big difference in a local business like this. The name it self should show the welcome what the culture represents. And charging customer for more dressing when they barely but any in your salad to begin with so you can charge more for extra is not good for business. The manager needs to be more friendly and more polite to the customer when she provide her services. Mahalo to the owner!

The place is clean and plenty of seating. We ordered take out. We waited for over 30 minutes. They finished the small orders first. The customers who ordered after us we're served first. Food is good. Customer service needs improvement.

Usually dependent with being generous and offering value on their combos. Like all the other franchises. I'm hoping my super skinny pieces of flattened chicken half a scoop of rice is just a temporary thing. Got my food Togo so I couldn't drive back. I'll give it 6 months to figure out their situation and come back then to give it one more shot.

I personally enjoy Ono. It is a great spot to through in the mix of take out or lunch stops when you need something different. Food is always pretty good and I cant get over the Mac Salad. Staff is standard for this type of establishment. Vibe is open modern with a touch of Hawaiian feel. Overall a great stop.

Keep in mind this is not the first time the dining room was so cold I felt it necessary to go to my car get a coat or eat it in my car. Part of offering good food is a good eating environment. Great food. But workers need to smile more. They don’t give a welcoming mood. Even the person giving the food to be picked up is giving a negative energy by just frowning the whole time

Walked in at 6:20 pm today, Sunday. The place was empty. The only employee visible was "Mackenzie" at the register. She was pleasantly polite and friendly. She took my To go order and accepted payment as expected. When I went to get my drink the diet Coke was out. I informed Mackenzie and she promptly took care of it. Then the nightmare began. A line of of take out customers started to form at the register, about six or seven customers. One cook appeared and he started rushing around in what appeared to be a panic mode. As the orders started to pile up a second cook appeared and the amateur hour continued. More customers came in. I noticed no less than five customers who had ordered after me pick up their orders. Meanwhile three to go containers that turned out to be my order were sitting on the counter the whole time. When I asked a second cashier (who magically appeared when the "rush" began) she casually shrugged her shoulders and said " Oh sorry the cook forgot to put the ticket up with the food so I didn't know it was ready" When l point out to her that my food is probably cold by now she says "No it's not cold" Whaaaat???? So l wait over twenty minutes and for cold food and this is what I get? Needless to say l won't be back. I'd rather drive a little further to L&L or wherever.

Worst Ono I've ever been to. Forks, napkins, spoons, are all behind the counter and the soda machine is so awful I wouldn't give my dog anything from here. Rice and fish was good, two stars

Will NOT be returning to this location. BRIANNA their cashier was cold and very rude. Walking up to the line for a second time after deciding what to order without asking me she calls another guest in line to take their order. Very very rude. Upon ordering no response from her. Nothing. Not a sure, thank you, smile. For this reason I will not be returning to this location. Brianna needs to be retrained in her customer service courtesy to ALL customers. She did seem chipper in greeting male customers.

Bad service they don't care if you have to wait for you order more than 20 minutes and you ask them by most of the time not only is girls they don't know what happening plus the prices too high..

Ordered the fish! Don’t do it. Horrible, just horrible. Barely any fish with the breading and the breading was way too spicy. No taste, no flavor, just hot spicy. My first time here and my last.
