A wonderful experience and we will soon return. We stopped in for the first time and the food, drinks, and staff were all amazing. I can't say enough about the birria tacos, truly delicious. From the homemade chips to well crafted margaritas this is a must try and try again!
First time here and it's not going to be the last. Wonderful menu and great service. A block from city center so easy to find parking. If you drink margaritas, this place has the best. I've been drinking them for a few decades and this bartender (didn't get her name) made the best I have ever had. Good size portions and very reasonable prices.
A friend and I had lunch at this relatively new spot in Glens Falls. Everything was amazing, from the food to the space and the service as well. I have visited this place before under previous incarnations of a variety of restaurants. It is spacious with ample seating and high ceilings (located in an early 1900s building, so very reminiscent of that time period). One note - the door to the restaurant is located inside. You go through an external door to the building and then through the restaurant door on your left. Our waitress was very friendly and patient. She answered all of our questions, gave us time to catch up and look over the menu before ordering, and checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Extra napkins and a side of sour cream I forgot to mention when we put in our orders were both brought out quickly. Now, and most importantly, the food. So so so good! Chips and salsa are complementary with the meals, which is nice; so many places have stopped doing this. The salsa tasted homemade. I would also probably add on queso next time (I absolutely love a good queso!). My friend ordered the Torta, subbing in jackfruit, so that it was more like a "pulled pork" sandwich. It was good-sized, and she loved it. It is nice to see some new vegetarian options in this area. I had the steak quesadilla; the meat was quality and cooked perfectly so that it was tender, no toughness at all). This was an extremely filling portion and so delicious! Lots of meat and cheese as well as their homemade sauce. I was so full, sadly, that I didn't have a chance to try their churros. I am already looking for an excuse to go back and try something else. Highly, highly recommend checking this place out for yourself.
We had the Birria tacos - brisket- they were delicious. Server was friendly and beer was cold. Definitely will go back. I loved the side of sauce for the tacos - I would put that sauce on everything lol. Thanks guys. Keep it up
Fantastic meal and service. Perfectly timed and prepared. Yum 😋 I will be back for more of those fries! Excellent!
We made a reservation and came with a large group on a Saturday night, and everything was phenom! Drinks were poured to perfection (spicy coconut margarita was amazing!) and the food was all delicious! Cannot recommend this restaurant enough!

The carne asada dinner was outstanding. Definitely the best Mexican restaurant in this area in decades. The quality of the food paired with the portion size just make it an excellent value. Service was also top notch.
Everything was freshly made and delicious. We ordered the guacamole , queso and chips. Then birra tacos, meatloaf, and 2 specials which were prepared and presented beautifully. Will be back!
I absolutely love coming to Tres Mijas. The staff is attentive, welcoming, and if I’m sitting at the bar, I know I’ll be laughing. I could basically be baptized in/drink the queso fundido here. I love being able to see the kitchen staff through the window, large bar area, and tons of natural light. Glens Falls has needed this for a while, and I’m so glad it’s here. Everyone should give it the love it deserves.
Such a refreshing spot! Their food is consistently fresh, unique, and always good. It definitely feels more upscale than other Mexican eateries in the area, but the prices are not very expensive. I’ve been a few times and have enjoyed my meal (and drinks!!) every time. They have some unique items like Colorado sauce, tortas, and I definitely recommend the churros for dessert! Best chips and guac in the area by far.
Genuinely authentic Mexican food that feels like it should cost more money than it does. I just had the wings today for their wing special and was absolutely blown away. The presentation of all meals/appetizers is always amazing and everything hits the spot. I’m also so thankful for the amazing atmosphere the provide
Had not been in a few months so I popped in for lunch today! This place never disappoints! My drink was delicious and my birria tacos were so flavorful! The waitress Heather was super friendly and attentive and Mike the owner even came out to say Hi! Great atmosphere and great staff, not to mention excellent food! If you have not tried them yet, add it to your bucket list!
Absolutely incredible experience! 🌮 This is one of the best Mexican spots I’ve had in a long time. I don’t eat meat so I was thrilled to see a vegetarian burrito on the menu — and it did not disappoint. Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made! And please, do yourself a favor and get the churros — best I’ve ever had, hands down. This place is such a gem in Glens Falls. 10/10, GET HERE!

This was the best guacamole I've had, and I wish I lived right next to this place for the food. i I had no problems with the service and we got exactly what we ordered. The building on the outside looks so much smaller on the outside but it is a great place inside. I never really liked this kind of food but this is amazing 👏!!
Super quiet on a Wednesday afternoon. 1st time here. Food taste very fresh. Salsa was very smooth. I could eat it all day. The food isn't your typical Mexican, not cheese, rice, meat stuff burrito or quesadilla. The quesadilla had peppers and onion and a light amount of cheese and served with pico de Gallo. It all tasted very fresh. Portion size was good. Not small, not big. It's a refreshing take on Mexican! Great for a summer afternoon!

Today was our second time visiting here. First time: We raved about it and told a bunch of family and friends just how good it was. Food was wonderful, service was good. Second time: Extremely disappointing. Everyone's food was very dry and very bland. They removed some very good menu items, and service was not so good. Not sure what happened the second time, but I'm sure we will give it another go. 3 stars... For now.

We went on a Friday night, which is karaoke night. We know what comes with that, so no complaints for the music … other than the volume. We couldn’t hear ourselves think, let alone have a conversation. It was unnecessarily loud. The restaurant was relatively full, but not packed. The hostess was polite and professional. She asked if we minded if we were sat at the end of a large table - with the other end being occupied by a mother and son. With all of the open tables, we were confused, but we went with it. Our server took our drink and food orders at the same time. The wait for the food was not long at all. I ordered a side of rice with my meal. The server didn’t bring it. After a few minutes, I did remind her that I ordered rice. She apologized and said it would be right out. Twenty minutes and half of my meal later, our server walked past us and apologized - again - that she’d forgotten my rice. I told her I was already getting full, so please just cancel the rice order. Not that I was looking for a freebie, but I think the right thing to do would have been to bring the rice and remove it from the check. No biggie. We finished our meals and waited … and waited … and waited … finally our server “remembered” us again. Got us a to go box. Then we waited … and waited … and waited …. For our server to “re-remember” that we were there and we finally got our check. The food was good. If you want authentic, you’re better off driving a few miles south to Mi Rancho - where the service, food and atmosphere are exponentially better. The atmosphere was far too loud. By the time we were finally able to leave, our ears were ringing. The service was pretty horrible. In fairness, throughout the extra 30-40 minutes we were forced to stay, we did witness what seemed to be very good service from another server (who was serving the mother and son at the same table). I wish them well and hope they make the necessary improvements, but it’s very unlikely that we will return.
Owner gets to drink, while customers go thirsty! I waited a couple weeks before posting this, I wanted to wait and see if my experience still bugged me...answer is "yes." My wife and I have been here several times, usually with friends. Each time the owner (well one of them, unsure if it's just owned by one dude) is drinking, which is fine UNLESS the customers are not! So a couple weeks ago we went in for drinks and dinner. We were served a beer initially and that was it. Only 4 people at the bar (which included my wife and I), we finished our 1st beers and that was it, we waited approx 10 minutes with no service, but the awesome part is the owner was drinking LMAO! So we got up to leave and only then did we get the time of day. Nobody cares if the owners drink, but it'd be great if the customers could too. We'll never be back, there is MUCH better Mexican in the area, where you can actually get served before, and/or with, the owners...this was truly ridiculous.
We were visiting Lake George and went here for dinner. We ordered the mushroom and birria tacos, barbacoa bowl and loaded nachos. The food just seemed tasteless, and we left the mushroom tacos uneaten. The birria tacos and consome was ok. Service was fine and waitress was good natured. But the food left much to be desired. Don’t think we will be returning here.
On Sundays the menu is poor. I ordered 2 birria burritos to takeout and they said it takes 15 to 20 minutes, I don't know why because the place had just two costumers. The food wasn't good. I had a stomachache. I appreciate the chips.
We had the carne asada and the Barbacoa. This was the worst mexican food I’ve ever had. There was no flavor at all, the rice is bland and the beans didn’t have an ounce of seasoning or salt. We wanted to love this place but unfortunately did not
I went here last night. Everything was going so good in the beginning…we all got our food which was decent then the bill comes… not realizing we were charged for the rice and beans we all got because when our waitress asked if we wanted them making it seem like it was an optional side that came with the tacos we ordered…I nicely expressed this to her just for her to give me this dumb look and being rude about it…so due to the poor service is did not tip well and as if that wasn’t enough I get home and see a message on social media from my waitress harassing me!! Mind you the only way she would have been able to get my name is by my card I used to pay with…pretty sure that’s illegal! I’m not impressed.
