Mother and daughter pair crank out amazing authentic food. Homemade tortillas, moles, birria de chivos on Sundays. This is our goto spot in Gonzales. Plan on hanging out a bit. This isn’t a fast food joint. Alondra is cranking in the kitchen doing it for reals.

I ordered the absolute BEST, most authentic birria de chivo and was served hand made tortillas and fresh salsa that I have ever had! Hands down best place in Monterey County! Place is a little small but ppL were being served in & out the entire time. Service was amazing. Definitely our new spot!

¡Que rico! José and the team are so sweet, and the food was delicious. My 3 y/o picky eater devoured their a mushroom quesadilla, rice, and beans. Rest of the family had tacos, enchiladas, tostada, and chilaquiles. Stopped here on the way outta town and the customers and team alike gave kind family vibes. We'll certainly be back another time!

Brought my family here from a friend's recommendation. Tried the goat birria, burrito, tacos and mixed molcajete plate. It is one of the best Mexican restaurants on this side of the state. The place is small but the food is delicious. We ate so fast that there was no time for pictures. Very friendly staff and great service.

From the moment i walked in, the warm inviting atmosphere, and the smells immediately reminded me of Mexico and authentic Mexican food! The service was top-notch, with attentive and friendly staff who made me feel at home. Our food served was sooo delicious from beginning to end !! What really sets this restaurant apart is their commitment to authenticity. It's evident in every dish they serve. We found this little place on our way up north. The owner was super polite and we got to know him and his story. The food was very good. I got chicken enchiladas and my bf got shrimp tostadas. We will definitely return on our future trips.

I walked here from Taylor farms got a burrito it was amazing. Bean and rice was perfect the staff was friendly the food is amazing. Price wasn't to bad ether. It's not a bad walk from the Taylor I will definitely go back when im in town. It was so cute the owners daughter was passed out with her head on a table. Gotta love small towns

We had the Bistec Ranchero, Mulitas and the Guadalajara, all delicious! The handmade tortillas were amazing. I haven't had Bistec Ranchero since my dad died and this brought back many memories. The building is a bit rundown, but the service was lovely and we would definitely stop by again!
