Some great sandwiches from a very friendly staff. Also something I don't normally notice, but it was extremely clean. Shout out to the team working there for really taking pride in making this a great spot to come to.
I've landed a new job down the street. This place was recommended by my coworker and was told their tri-tip was their signature sandwich. As soon as I arrived I was greeted by their staff. So friendly. I mentioned it was my 1st time there and they recommended the tri-tip too. So I settled for that. It comes on a soft French roll, Mayo, lettuce, tomato, pepperoncini and your choice of cheese of you desire. You have options to add avocado and or bacon for an additional price. For me that was one of the best tri-tip sandwiches I've had in a long while. The tri-tip was very tender and the condiments fresh. I've had tri-tip sandwiches before and biting into them always brought the meat out of the sandwich because the tri-tip was tough. For me, what makes the sandwich is the tri-tip. Tender tri-tip and that it was. Delicious! You can add chips and a drink for a meal price if you like. There's a wide variety of breads, cheeses and variations of their housemade sandwiches. If you'd like a custom sandwich, just ask. There's also choices of salads and wraps. Only open till 5p on the weekdays and closed on the weekends. A local deli that's in the heart of the industrial area. Time your lunch as during peak lunch hours there's a line out the door. There's also a drive thru if you'd rather not get down from your car. They also take phone orders that work like a charm according to my coworker. With my new job, this is now my go to place for a great sandwich. I'll be stopping by again tomorrow to try a wrap.

Great sandwiches...the sliced sourdough bread was light. The veggies in the sandwich were very fresh/crisp. The pastrami was delicious, however, a little extra meat would have been even more enjoyable...it only had two slices.
I highly recommend their tri-tip sandwich and their cali club on sourdough. My employer likes to buy us lunch from here regularly and it's always a good day when we have Della-Rose to look forward to.
I was very impressed with this deli. Prompt polite service. It was very clean - spotless kitchen with great hygiene practices visible. Food was fresh, there were lots of options- the whole family were happy. Keep up the great work!

I think this deli is one of Salinas's best kept secrets! I've driven by this deli hundreds of times, never stopping, but today I stopped. I was so impressed by the staff so polite, food so delicious, and so clean!!! I had the chicken soup and trip sandwich =delicious!! If you can't eat a big sandwich, they'll let you order 1/2 sandwich. They have a drive up, too!! What I love best it their not cooperate!! Seems local owned!

The shop was packed with all kinds of customers and the food is great services fast I do recommend this place I’ve been coming here for years then I moved out of town and I’m back for business and I stopped in at lunch rush, and got served fast and the tri-tip sandwiches just the same as I remember. Delicious.
Best sandwich of my life! I noticed that they had a drive through order window when I was visiting Lincare nearby. I had a quick and delightful lunch. Sandwich was very fresh and delicious. Staff was friendly and careful. I wish I lived nearby, then I would frequent often.
This is my 2nd day in a row eating the California Chicken Sandwich. The ciabatta roll is plush and soft, the vegetables are noticeably fresh, and the chicken is so moist and seasoned very well. I stumbled across this deli really on accident and I have to say it’s the best sandwich I’ve had in Monterey, beating out other places I’ve tried because of social media or word of mouth. The employees are very friendly and cheerful. The prices of the sandwiches are reasonable. That Cali Chicken is so good!!!!
I just wanted to say their California chicken sandwich was amazing and my favorite part was the lemon bar! I am a lemon bar girlie and that was the best one I’ve ever had! If I’m ever flying through again I’ll be stopping by and taking lots of lemon bars home!

Such a good independently run place. They take pride in their food and it shows. Tastes great and good VFM. Fabulous friendly staff and care for the customer. Can’t recommend highly enough! Charming !

Hello everyone, well the California Club was delicious with Fresh Tomatoes 🍅 and lettuce 🥬 plenty of meats and tasty bread. We went through the drive through and we ordered their chocolate and a strawberry 🍓 smoothie. The food and drinks were delicious and the sandwich 🥪 was delicious! The young lady at the window was friendly and accommodating. Thank you we will be a returning customer.

The Italian Cold Cut sub was absolutely delicious and came on a soft, chewy, amazing roll. The chicken noodle soup was thin and lackluster - wouldn't order again. The service was friendly and top notch - i didnt feel rushed even though it took me a bit to decide on what to order. So many items looked tempting. Treat yourself today. I can't wait to try another of their tasty subs!
Nice place tolo get a quick bite to eat. Food is really really good, but the place is a bit small to eat there. Parking can also be an issue, especially during lunch hours.
