Great sandwiches...the sliced sourdough bread was light. The veggies in the sandwich were very fresh/crisp. The pastrami was delicious, however, a little extra meat would have been even more enjoyable...it only had two slices.

I highly recommend their tri-tip sandwich and their cali club on sourdough. My employer likes to buy us lunch from here regularly and it's always a good day when we have Della-Rose to look forward to.

I think this deli is one of Salinas's best kept secrets! I've driven by this deli hundreds of times, never stopping, but today I stopped. I was so impressed by the staff so polite, food so delicious, and so clean!!! I had the chicken soup and trip sandwich =delicious!! If you can't eat a big sandwich, they'll let you order 1/2 sandwich. They have a drive up, too!! What I love best it their not cooperate!! Seems local owned!

The shop was packed with all kinds of customers and the food is great services fast I do recommend this place I’ve been coming here for years then I moved out of town and I’m back for business and I stopped in at lunch rush, and got served fast and the tri-tip sandwiches just the same as I remember. Delicious.

Best sandwich of my life! I noticed that they had a drive through order window when I was visiting Lincare nearby. I had a quick and delightful lunch. Sandwich was very fresh and delicious. Staff was friendly and careful. I wish I lived nearby, then I would frequent often.

This is my 2nd day in a row eating the California Chicken Sandwich. The ciabatta roll is plush and soft, the vegetables are noticeably fresh, and the chicken is so moist and seasoned very well. I stumbled across this deli really on accident and I have to say it’s the best sandwich I’ve had in Monterey, beating out other places I’ve tried because of social media or word of mouth. The employees are very friendly and cheerful. The prices of the sandwiches are reasonable. That Cali Chicken is so good!!!!

Such a good independently run place. They take pride in their food and it shows. Tastes great and good VFM. Fabulous friendly staff and care for the customer. Can’t recommend highly enough! Charming !

The Italian Cold Cut sub was absolutely delicious and came on a soft, chewy, amazing roll. The chicken noodle soup was thin and lackluster - wouldn't order again. The service was friendly and top notch - i didnt feel rushed even though it took me a bit to decide on what to order. So many items looked tempting. Treat yourself today. I can't wait to try another of their tasty subs!

Nice place tolo get a quick bite to eat. Food is really really good, but the place is a bit small to eat there. Parking can also be an issue, especially during lunch hours.
