Best pizza in the area and great atmosphere
Great people, great pizza!
We like this place a lot.
Yummy drinks
La Pizza esta más o menos. 👍 La cerveza buena y muy bueno 👌 el Ambiente.
A little expensive but the pizza is worth it! Absolutely delicious. Appetizer was fine.
Went to see dub Congress show was excellent. Service was great. Atmosphere was lit
It’s very unique and on the more expensive side of it. Deep crust is available and they have many events.😀
Damn perfect.. slammin pizza, good music, incredible sound inside and outside. What else do you need..
Omg, food was great, along with the drinks. Our service was awesome
Good food, great atmosphere! Cool music!
Great place to have a good pizza pie and enjoy the night with a loved one.
Hello it's Mark good afternoon how are your guys doing today what are your guys doing I like your new pizza co

Deep dish pizza is an experience and great music
A great place to have Pizza and drinks. A two thumbs up 👍👍
The Keto friendly small pizza was amazing
delicious za! live Jazz! what a treat!!
Heirloom Live is where it's at!
Service is abit slow but I'm not going to knock em a star for it because the deep dish pizza is really good I've been here 3 times and it was exceptional
Wow, what a great pizza we had. Very Tasty and a different take on how they create their pizzas plus Heirloom has live music 🎶
Fantastic addition to downtown Salinas. Not only is the pizza on point, but the wings and sides pair well. Great atmosphere too. And cocktails? Wow! Some of the best creative concoctions around. Can't wait to check out the tiki bar next time we're there.
Food was amazing! Was craving something similar to what you find in the east bay and this matched Zacharys Chicago style pizza! Crust was delicious and I could actually pick up the slice and bite into it! Service was ok. More attentiveness goes a long way. But the basil drink was amazing! Hours are also weird why it took me so long to give a review. @barstoolsports needs to review this place.
My wife and I were just driving by and caught a glimpse through the window of the stage and tables. We were just talking about how we couldn't find any decent deep dish pizza in Salinas. We found it here! The live entertainment was amazing too. For a night we almost didn't go out at all, it was an epic date and this will be our pizza place from now on.
The pizza came out hot and fresh!!! You can taste the spices. It was absolutely delicious! We are frequent customers.
Best pizza! We order every week! Still the best!
Heirloom is just what salinas needs, from comedy shows, to live bands, to blue grass to reggae, to hip hop this place has it all! Food is fantastic, atmosphere is amazing. My personal favorite is the pesto pizza. I love that they have a happy hour, take out and a take and bake out! So many options to choose. To the owners Mike & Kristen special shout out for bring something like this to salinas as we NEEDES THIS!! Ps I see alot of post about parking, this is a south salinas problem not a heirloom problem.
I watched the Ca. Rodeo Band put on a great show. The stage at the heirloom is big and provides a great view for the audience. Drinks were good, service throughout the show was good, and the food was good.
Love this new music venue! The owners are super sweet and really want the community to enjoy the place. Bartenders and security very professional and experienced and service was amazing even on a really busy night. Lots of seating and huge stage!
Same great pizza as Monterey, plus live music! The craft cocktails are a wonderful addition. Love the Dark & Stormy with the house made ginger beer.
Awesome place for music! Great owner, staff and great pizza!!
Great customer service !! If you're ordering to go enter from the door located by the back parking. Also I had the heirloom deep fried pizza with goat cheese and boy it did not disappoint!!
Service is great! They have a variety of music on the weekends and karaoke every other Monday.
A must needed addition to make downtown more lively. Great service, alternative live music/shows, and drinks! A plus for the vegan options for their pizzas. Finally a business doing something different 🔥
Love it here for their fun live music events and the service is definitely top notch. The staff is friendly and very attentive. My favorite are the wings, artichoke dip and the Paloma’s.
Very good pizza and atmosphere. Vegetarian substitutions are possible on virtually all menu options. They even have vegan cheese! The staff is friendly and were very welcoming and accommodating to my baby, who we discovered loves garlic bread. Definitely recommend.
Brought a big group, and we got seated right away. The food was delicious. Our family came from Southern California, and they said, "The best deep dish pizza ever." Great service and outstanding atmosphere.
I tried Heirloom Pizza because I was looking for some local deep dish. I can't say I was disappointed. The menu made me feel like Greg Heffley ordering Drummies, but I ordered the Arugalalala and a build-your-own with mushrooms and gorgonzola. Their tomato sauce is wonderfully tangy, with just enough herb to distinguish it but very clean and tomato-forward. Typically mushrooms are watery or insubstantial on pizzas but here they added both flavor and texture to both pies. I would only complain that they were quite stingy with the chicken and bacon in the deep dish and I would prefer more, and larger chunks. Their deep dish crust differs from their flat crust, using cornmeal to achieve an almost cakelike crumb with good crispiness and no sogginess. Our waitress was wonderful but the restaurant itself is bizarrely decorated. The space it's in is much too large and industrial, and not in a way that feels justifiably hipster. More like a pop-up in a convention center with a bar crammed in the corner. But hey, if the food is good, who am I to complain? I look forward to trying their Monterey location too.
Heirlooom in Salinas is so much fun! We went yesterday for Karaoke (since they have karaoke every Monday) and it was very cool! The stage is awesome and they have sooo many songs. Food was very tasty! We had deep dish style pizza and thin crust style, salads, and baked wings! Best ranch ever made in house! 🫶🏻Everything was amazing 🤗
We came here for a show that was in town and it was my first time actually in this place. We had an appetizer and a few drinks, we had mainly came for the show. Our server was great though, answered any questions we had and took care of us. I'd definitely like to go back to try some pizza and wings though. The stage they have there definitely adds to the show because it's an actual stage and gives it an experience to remember.
Early dinner for 4. Ordered 2 salads, cheesy garlic bread, and a large Napoli pizza. Friendly server, food came out quickly, and tasted great. Highly recommend!
Came in for an early dinner, still plenty of people dining but no problem getting a table. Super happy to see a vegan cheese option for the pizzas. You can either customize your toppings or pick one of the preset options which are so creative and delicious! The pulled pork with pickled red onions was a surprising hit! The service was attentive and friendly. I do recommend getting an appetizer as the pizzas (as expected) took some time to come out.
I’m so happy that Salinas finally has a good Pizza place . I was there on Sunday , had their Ceaser salad , baked chicken wings and the margarita pizza . All were so fresh and amazing . In confidence , I can say that I had the best Ceaser and Margarita Pizza of my life . The staff are very friendly . Atmosphere is city like . My only suggestion is perhaps adding more food items to the menu. The restaurant ‘s vibe so strong that you automatically expect more food options . My server Josh was fantastic - my new go to place
Finally, Old Town has a great pizza restaurant! This is Heirloom's second, long-awaited location, and it was worth the wait. Their deep-dish pizzas are filled with fresh ingredients and topped with a chunky tomato sauce with just the right blend of spices. Order a large, and take home the leftovers.
Great food. Friendly service. Drinks are tasty and live shows. I have not been disappointed every time I have eaten here.

Amazing atmosphere, thin crust pizza is perfect crispy, no flop, and full of great flavor. Service is amazing and all staff were happy and sociable. Great selection of beers on tap and mixed drinks. 5 Star experience!
The first time I tried this place out I dined in and was given wonderful service by a server who was attentive and kind. The fontina margerhita thin crust pizza is sooo delicious and the heirloom deep dish is amazing. Can't wait to come back :)
I am a Illinois girl and I have been looking for a place that has deep dish all over the Salinas and Monterey area. We tried the heirloom deep dish and it was so good. I felt like the some deep dish places can have too watery of a pizza sauce but this one is balanced. It's flavorful and the atmosphere is nice. The staff is super chill.
We recently went to Heirloom Pizza. The moment you walk in, you are greeted with the irresistible aroma of fresh baked pizza 🍕 and a cozy atmosphere. Our server was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations. And not to forget karaoke night on Monday. We will definitely be back!!!!
Great deep dish pizza! Wife and I love their heirloom deep dish! One of our favorite pizzas we have had, and probably our favorite deep dish. It's a nice place inside as well, they have a stage and it seems people come and perform and what not, have only ate in restaurant once and we have a toddler so coming to enjoy entertainment here is a little hard for us but seems like a great spot to hang, service when we go for pick up is always great as well. We would always get pizza to go when they only had a location in monterey, glad they opened one up here and hope it's here to stay for the long term. I understand the demographic in salinas but nice that it's not another taco or Mexican style food spot.
Pizza rocks! Options for all foodie types! Take it to go or stay for a show and enjoy! We highly recommend 👏🏼

Pizza was good, cocktails were on point, service was excellent
Dinner was great. We can't wait to come for some live shows!
We were just there for the comedy show.
Love that they have vegan options for pizza!
Sauce is a little salty ... BUT....the pizza was amazing wine list awesome and cocktails great. A little loud ...but hey it's a pizza joint Live music it's perfect
Passing through town for work and I hit this place and went with a friend. parking is street. No problem. Stepped in the early afternoon. Bright dining room but seems chill after the lights drop. Ordered a tequila margarita. I think jake was the tendy. Was really good. But about half way through the making this dude in a beard interrupted our conversation about some mint or something... Just killed the vibe. Dude said something about the watering of the mint.. but the dude wiped his mouth right before he touched the mint.. Bruh.. Anyway, spot is dope. Would recommend.
Caught a live music show. Great crowd energy, to the point it was sold out and standing room only. There was only one bartender though, who was working his tail off with incredible energy. As in, 15 minutes to get a drink each time. Another was handling non-cocktail orders. Then the main guy was gone for some reason, replaced by another bartender, who was similarly overwhelmed but with less energy. Everyone seemed to love their pizza.
Thin crust Arugulala pizza is fantastic! The wings are also a great choice to pair with their pizza. I would advise to try and go during the slower hours as the times I’ve gone around dinner time food can take a long time. It took over 40+ min for a large thin crust pizza The staff are friendly but it seems that they are understaffed given how long the food takes to arrive. I would agree that the music is a bit too loud.
Server was awesome!!! Table not big enough area for 7. Cramped food on table. Music almost too loud to talk. But food was delicious!! Best roasted broccoli and cheesy bread!! Pizza was unique. I'll be going back!
I went to this establishment for the first time to see old friends performing classic rock. First impression very nice set up actual stage great interior clean bright lots of tables. First issue I ordered a fancy drink from the bar tiny glass ice over the top, tasted great 15$ . OK I decided to have my favorite a long Island......NO only fancy expensive drinks and beer lots of beer 🍺. The food was good lots of big impressive salads being served quickly and other apatisers were constantly flowing out of the kitchen I got a large deep dish all meat pizza, very impressive I had to really focus to finish 2 slices 5 stars for sure. Now I wanted to sit at a table because the bar had only 8 chairs and was crowded and busy. I was told tables were for groups and I needed to be on the list????. So expensive tiny drinks, no place to sit and eat what's not to like. Maybe it's because a band was performing? If you want to spend 100 $ for pizza and drinks for 1 person this is your place, imagine a group of 4 .

Food was delivered lukewarm and could use flavoring.
We were a large group - servers did good for our group. Found food to be salty Jan 2024 went again arugula salad was good. Slider deep dish ok for me salty Feb 2024 went again arugula salad was good. Margarita pizza was good. Herlume deep dish pizza was salty for me.
Exclusively not inclusive when it comes to dietary differences. Loved it, but …take a $24 pizza and add gluten free crust and vegan cheese for $9.00! That’s more than a 37% increase in price! A total of $33 for a small 12” pizza! . Where’s the credit back for the gluten crust and dairy cheese?
As a group we spent $500+ dollars and we're still ordering drinks but they told us we had to leave because we weren't going to pay for a lame comedy show. That's wild!!
Overall, great place! I enjoy the food and the staff is attentive. Unfortunately, it is difficult to figure out when they are open! The good news is that they offer happy hour pricing Monday through Friday from 4pm to 6pm... except Tuesdays.
Food was ok. Pizza is very thin. Menu is small. Service was slow, but staff was friendly. Restaurant is esthetically nice.
Pizza was good but expensive. The owner has been pretty rude to their employees in front of customers multiple times when I go, which is always a negative. Also, it’s $5 to add on a topping which makes it frustrating when you order pizzas to go and get home to find out they forgot to add a topping you paid for. Yes I should have checked before leaving but they were not busy at all and if im paying 80$ for 2 pizzas, why should I need to double check to make sure they didn’t forget anything. They should double check before packaging it.
Food was great. Best deep dish pizza around. The appetizer however took forever to come out, and came out not very hot. The service was incredibly slow, and the music was overwhelmingly loud. Every step of the meal was incredibly slow and we found that disappointing.

Food and atmosphere was just good. Went to pay my bill, $75 total including tip, was surprised by the total. Then I asked for my receipt, $76.xx. They added a credit card surcharge without notifying me and AFTER the payment was processed. I would have happily paid in cash had this fee been, and it absolutely should have been, advertised to me at point of sale. I’m big on patronizing local businesses but this practice of NOT advising there is a surcharge for using credit cards and tacking it on top of the pre-authorized amount is not a business practice I enjoy patronizing. Will likely not be returning to this establishment. $30+ small pizza and unexpected fees is not worth patronizing. Paid well over $30/person for pizza & one drink… thumbs down. Reading the 5 star reviews kind of tells me the bar is low for others’ expectations of a dine-in pizzeria. Premium price for meh.

The bar service sucks..! They seem lost! Beer was hot ! Needs Improvement.. And didn't try their food will next time.
First off I visited this place shortly after it opened. We got two deep dish pizzas which tasted ok but my son almost choked on the thick mozzarella cheese. I did decide to give it another try the "Dave Portnoy" way. Chose to order a large cheese. Plain and simple. The dough was too chewy and overworked and the sauce and cheese were sub par. Nothing special. I give this a pizza a 5/10. Probably won't come back. If they can't get a cheese pizza right what's the point of coming back for different options.
Overview: -although warned the pizza may take 30 minutes to be ready, it took well over that and after about 40 minutes, they said it was because it got busy but I got there right as it opened when there was only about 3 other tables occupied. They served the party of 10+ that arrived after us first. -the drink was yummy but was tiny and most of it was a huge block of ice. Very expensive for what you get - the tables for two are tiny, there was barley about space for our plates and drinks. I almost dropped my pizza of the topper because of this. - As we were heading out and thinking about how our meal of 1 large pizza, 1 mixed drink and 1 soda came out to $100, we noticed they charged us for an extra pizza we never ordered. 2 stars instead of 1 because the pizza was okay, but definitely not worth the price. Expensive with not the best atmosphere or set up, but the bathrooms are nice so I’ll give them that.
I understand that the majority of customers might have had positive experiences during my past visit, and I'm glad to hear that. I'd like to share my feedback to help improve the service even further… Despite giving this place three tries, my visits have been consistently unsatisfactory- mainly due to poor service. On this occasion we visited on a night they had entertainment and paid a $30 door fee. Once seated we waited nearly an hour for drinks to show up and yet - "they never arrived", however, water on table was aplenty. Follow-ups with our waiter and the owner were acknowledged with the explanation of the shift being understaffed. Notably, the bartender (singular) did have his station full with patrons but what struck me odd is that the owners were floating the floor exchanging extended chat and laughter with patrons and personal friends. Here's a tip: when your team is understaffed as was stated, the owner should step in and support the team by helping them rather than partying. Unfortunately, after several attempts to enjoy the entertainment with a beverage and snack in front of us, we ended the evening early by departing with much frustration (less the $30 each cover fee). The worst part was the owner, "Kristin's" dismissive response when she was asked about the status of our order. The lack of empathy led to our decision to leave. I truly hope this place makes it, but it will need improvement. I have hopes in hearing from the owners to help change my view before I give it another try or recommend it to others. -
Update on February 24, 2026 … I recently learned that this place is shutting down. I’m not surprised. The whole layout of the restaurant was horrible and the the pizza was BAD! … It’s obvious at most reviewers here don’t understand what good pizza is. The pizza here is subpar. The salads have a funky taste. The restaurant was not busy when we showed up, but it seemed to take forever to get our food. The service was OK, but the waitress could have done a better job of checking up on us more often. What really got to me was that it was comedy night and we had children at our table. It was disclosed to us that they was going to be a comedy show, but it was not disclosed that it was gonna be vulgar in nature. The comedians crossed the line with their jokes, and it was not appropriate for a young audience. It would’ve been great if the staff would’ve told us ahead of time that there would be vulgar language and adult topics during the show. There’s lots of other feedback I could provide, but that’s it for now. I do not plan on returning anytime soon.

Didn't take them long to start charging a outrageous price for music and events great community members all about the Almighty dollar some of the worst service and not a n/a beer in site all about booze and bucks
HORRIBLE! from the service, taste, and overpriced menu. We won’t be back!
Me personally I will not be going here again. This was some of the slowest service for a pizza I have ever experienced in my entire life. We ordered as a group of 8 and it took a hour and a half for the FIRST pizza to come out and then each separate pizza took around another 5-10 minutes to be served. The pizza itself wasn't horrible but not amazing enough for the horrendous wait. Do not visit this place if you value your time and mental state.
I had high hopes for Heirloom Pizza in Salinas, and the initial impression was positive, with a charming ambiance and a promising atmosphere for a pizza restaurant. However, the experience quickly took a turn for the worse. Service was one of the first disappointments. We had to wait for 15 minutes before anyone assisted us, and our request for a larger water cup was met with a disappointing response, as they were unable to provide one. The size of the water cup that was provided to us was the size of a shot glass. This was especially frustrating for us who prefer water over sugary drinks. The problems continued with the food. Our appetizers, including wings and cheese bread sticks, arrived after a 35-minute wait, and the quality was very disappointing. The wings were dry and lacked flavor, while the cheese bread sticks didn't taste fresh. The biggest letdown was the deep dish pizza we ordered, with pepperoni, cheese, and pineapple. What we received was a pizza drowning in tomato sauce, with minimal pepperoni and pineapple. The lack of balance in the toppings was a major disappointment. To top it off, it took an extended period for the server to bring the check and a to-go box, resulting in a total visit duration of 2 hours. This was far from the pleasant experience I had hoped for when I first walked in. In summary, while Heirloom Pizza has the potential to be a great dining destination, my experience was marred by subpar service and underwhelming food quality. I hope the establishment takes these concerns into consideration and improves its offerings and service in the future.
Notice that most of the positive reviews are vegetarians. This pizza is probably delicious if you haven't had real food in a long time. The deep dish pizza took over an hour to come out and was just not good. We ordered our kids a normal pizza and it tasted like a frozen pizza that they had heated up.
COCKROACH in the food!!!! Eat at your own risk! It was crawling inside the pizza box that was delivered by doordash. I called to ask for a refund and they did not want to give me a refund.
