We came to celebrate father's day. The server was very attentive, always checking on our table. The food was a lil cold but still good. Bread pudding is amazing!!!!

New items on the menu, new interiors, new staff too but I definitely miss the old version of their famous Chocolate Mousse which we've cherished for over 20 years and now miss it as it is a little bit different. This place has impeccable service, ambiance and staff go above and beyond to serve you and cater to customers preferences. Heated outdoor patio for a private party too possible without feeling disconnected from the main restaurant.

Holy cow. Literally. Look at this slab of Prime Rib and that beautiful Margarita!!! In town for Rennsport 7 and selected this location for dinner. Asked to have a seat that was warm (chilly from being out in the weather today) and we were placed in the perfect booth. Room temperature is great. Food is freaking awesome. Service is fast and friendly. Restaurant is clean.

Good service. Great food. Pleasant atmosphere especially dining area, outdoor patio seating looks wonderful, bar and service not as welcoming. The stuffed mushrooms are marvelous, must try with their cucumber sauce I believe. Try the flourless chocolate cookies a wise choice for chocolate lovers. Plate are a reasonable portion and worth the price. An array of drinks definitely will try again.

Good food!! I had the prime rib sandwich and fries, it was BOMB! Only downside to our visit was they just installed a new system, so we had to order @ the bar. Really wasn't a big deal....

Slow service , no one besides us and 1 other table. Still had to ask 3 times for a water, and i ordered a cocktail and no food, my friend had a salad. I finally got my water after i finished my cocktail, my friend finished his ceasar salad , she brought the water with the check.

We go there a lot because the food's real good, but every time, we have to wait for someone to seat us. Waiters/waitresses are passing by constantly, but NO ONE acknowledges you're there waiting to be seated & I don't know of too many customers who enjoy being ignored. They REALLY need a hostess to greet & seat people.

Haven't been here in a month after last horrible experience. First, the food was above average (great improvement), the service was chaotic. Two servers (with smiles) doing their best to keep up with the whole restaurant, while two other young people just stood in the aisle or close to the bakery case chatting. Ice machine being cleaned, no ice, no flavored creamer(non dairy), food arrived and we had to get up to search out utensils which eventually came (food was by then luke warm). Hard to justify a $100 breakfast (for three) when there are such other great choices in town. BTW the large pancakes were not even half the size of the plate ($17.95). Sad to see a well known eatery struggling, with that said, it will be awhile before we try again.

First time here. It was okay. They did mess up half of my order but they did fix it and the manager also came to apologize. Another dish was also cold but we didn't complain we ate it anyways. We ordered pancakes, roast beef French dip, chilaquiles, and two other combo plates.

It’s unfortunate a decent restaurant we dine at has no customer support and blames issues on apps. I am in the service industry and when you miss something or mess up you own up to it. Then they offer no apology or how can we fix it sir. Elli’s your food sucks, your service is worse and no Atmosphere.

This is the last time I ever go to Ellie's. This is the worst dinner I've ever had here. The chicken fried steak was tough and dry. The vegetables were plain no herbs and soggy. To top it off the side salad which is a wedge was completely plain. No color, no tomato, no anything. Which 99% of the restaurants put a tomato. To top it off I was the only person in there besides a couple and she forgot to keep the mashed potatoes off my plate. Oh I'm sorry I forgot she said. Mary, it was very passive aggressive with me. Didn't like it not going back. I don't suggest anyone go when you have other restaurants like IHOP that will serve you great food and breakfast all the time. A total of $32 for this meal. This is terrible.

Ellie's us to amazing. Great food, great service, just all around excellent. Not on this night, August 23, 2025. I went in with my to granddaughters. They were tired and grumpy and hungry, it was almost 1900 hrs. Our first order off the kids menu would serve breakfast items and The artichoke pasta for myself were not available. I was also told they didn’t have zero calorie sweetener when clearly there was on another table. We left and drove to Casa de Fruta. Always good.

The manager Karla is extremely rude and unprofessional with a serious attitude problem. I was trying to place an order to-go and received the most absolutely worst customer service from her I have ever received in my life! She was rushing me. She was very snarky when I asked questions about the desserts. She kept walking away and not coming back to the front counter for long periods of time. I was in the middle of trying to add desserts to my order and she kept asking me if I was “done yet?”, and acted like it was so hard and arduous for her to finish taking my order. I asked her why she was treating me so rude, and she would roll her eyes like a child and gave me no answer. There were three other parties that walked in and ended up leaving after hearing and seeing what was happening to me. She refused to give me her name when I asked, or any information on how I could contact someone higher than her to tell them about my experience. Finally, another employee that heard and saw everything from the back, and apologized for the way she was treating me and told me that she is “always like that with everyone”, and said that she even treats them that way, too. I feel bad for the other employees that have to deal with her for even longer periods of time, compared to the 55 minutes it took for her to complete my order. I’ve been going to Elli”s for years and never seen her before, so she might be new. Now, because of Karla, I will never go back, and neither will anyone in my family that I just told about my awful experience. They are so upset. She should not be working in customer service if she is going to be treating people the way she treated me. I hope someone that works up higher than her reads this review and does something about this.
