Wow this is soooo good

Friendly staff, fast service and dining room was super clean. And I used their free Wi-Fi to submit a paper for school while I had breakfast. What more could you ask for?

Everybody friendly, helpful, accommodating. Clean and neat. Grandchildren enjoyed the game station which we played several games on and laughed and laughed.

VERY busy, but order was accurate and employee Kailee (or something like that - it was dark and I had my glasses off so they wouldn't fog with my mask on) was very friendly & helpful... exactly the kind of employee I would want to have!

I like this McDobalds. They're always friendly and of they get your order wrong, they fix it. Be careful going around lunch time if you want to use the drive thru, it can get congested. When its packed at lunch, we usually park and go in. Even if its congested, they usually get through everyone at a steady pace. Always clean when you go in.

It was such a pleasure to actually interact with a human when placing my order and to have someone say “thank you and have a nice day”. The dine in was great and seemed like a great team work on our visit May 3rd, around 1pm.

Wow! By far the nicest McDonald's I've ever been to! A little hidden gem up here in the North Country. Apparently they just finished an extensive remodel and it shows, it looks amazing! Beautiful interior and exterior and free built-in games at a few of the tables to keep the little ones entertained. To top it off, the staff is attentive, courteous, and and efficient. No problems making a grilled cheese for the vegetarian kiddo and even turned the burger buns so the nice toasted flat part was on the outside. I would visit this chain more often if they were all like this!

Depending on who's working drive thru, always check your order & drinks. I have days that they make my coffee perfect other days it's not even close.

Typical McDonald's. Well run. Quick service. Easy access from Main Street. Glad the steak bagel breakfast deal is back.

Food is always tasty and fast. Can't count on the ice cream machine or shake machine most there time but other than that can't complain!

It was McDonald's. Nice thing, they got our order right. No missing items and no items were received that we didn't order. Drive through was fairly quick as well.

It's a McDonald's. Will say it was the first time I saw an interactive table but as soon as you put something on it it would read your touch. Friendly staff and the food wasn't too greasy.

I love there coffee, Carmel frappe's, and sausage egg and cheese biscuit. I do not like anything else from here. Burgers are always cold.

It is beyond me how a simple customer order (no pickles on a burger) cannot be accomplished. Also it would be nice if the burger was at least somewhat warmed

It's McDonald's. However! I must commend two late-night drive through employees who were gracious and professional during the recent renovations. Thank you for doing a great job under what looked like terrible working conditions and made my experience very pleasant.

Waited for ten minutes for someone to acknowledge us at the second drive thru. Called and spoke to someone who took care of the issue. Food was hot and as expected.

There was something funny going on up ahead of me and we were stuck for 15 minutes waiting for the food. Also, the register ran out of coins so, since the girl looked all flustered, I forfeited my change.

They need to take at least enough time to put their sandwiches together properly... very sloppy. And test the meat, my quarter pounder was pink and raw in the middle. But upon request for a new sandwich, they we're polite, and sandwich came back wonderful.

Every McDonald's lately seems to be all the same, No one can take/receive orders and prepare them correctly. They work so slooooowly its like a death on ice scene.

Good service a little slow at times

Yet again I had to return to restaurant. Didn't get everything that was ordered. Also the manager was rude and miserable. Practically forcing food through my window.

I was on my way through town on my way downstate and needed to grab a quick bite for my teenage son and I. I ordered a #7 which is a 2 cheeseburger meal and asked for extra onions and pickles on both. My son had 2 McChickens and fries. His was good and hot he said and enjoyed his food, I on the other hand got two cheeseburgers where the burger was as cold as the pickles and the cheese wasn't even melted. I was already a couple of miles down the road when I found this out and didn't have the time to go back and get them remade. It is disappointing to think that when you order something special you would get cold burgers on it that may have sat around. It's hard to find the extra cash to stop to places like this for a quick meal you would at least hope for a decent meal. I mean I understand it's McDonald's but, when you spend over an hours pay for your food you would hope to at least get a hot meal. I probably won't bother stopping by this small town McDonald's again. I guess you shouldn't expect to much otherwise you'll be disappointed.

They can handle a long line of drive thru customers rather quickly. Also, the food was good and warm, and the new spicy chicken nuggets with the spicy sauce was nice. I still wish the food wasn't so dang nasty after thirty minutes.

The staff are friendly, food was great, there was a looooong wait this morning. Not a deal breaker because the staff were working their butts off!! Well trained and doing their jobs wonderfully!

I've had mixed service here, sometimes it's really quick, other times it seems like the associates are actively avoiding taking my order, the fried food at this location always has a weird chemically after taste, French fries, nuggets, everything..

Typical visit to McDonald's. Slower than death on crutches, expensive, and waaaaay overpriced. Order consisted of 1 Sausage muffin with egg and cheese, 3 egg muffins, 2 hash browns, chicken nuggets and small fries. What I received was 1 sausage biscuit with cheese and no egg. Undercooked hash browns and fries, just started to brown - still soft and greasy. Only one tiny sauce for a 6 piece nugget. Order placed at 11:10 AM, received at 11:18. While standing waiting the numbers for the drive thru kept being delivered and carried out to customer cars while McDonalds ignored the orders of the customers standing inside. Which is always the case, they tend to the drive thru first no matter what. All in all a very poor meal, with mistakes but high prices thrown in for good measure. If you want a meal, drive a few miles north to the Silver Leaf diner.

Food and service was ok being McDonald's but having to drive through a construction zone to the drivethru while the crew is trying to work was rather challenging. Hoping I didn't get any nails in my new tires.

Was in there today at 11:40 am, there stood 7 people in line with no one at the register. I did not wait, the last time I was there my fries were cold and my burger was barely warm.

Drive-through to park-and-wait. 10 mins later and still waiting... ... finally got my so-called "fast" food. The fries were good and fresh. The burger was incredibly greasy... soaked bun, dripping with grease. When my food was brought to my car the person said, "Is this yours? Ok". No apologies for the wait or inconvenience. Not sure I'll be returning to this McDonald's.

I've tried to order from the McDs app twice and both times my order was ignored. Ordered today, selected "curbside" pickup, waited 15+ minutes and no order...Went inside, was told by the shift mgr, they received the order as "inside pickup" I showed her my phone which showed curbside, she just stood there like a lump and repeated the "order showed inside pickup". Here's an idea, either fix the app, computer system, or the shift manager. Something is broken, it's not my problem, but this location keeps making it my problem. There won't be an opportunity for a 3rd foul-up.

After 9 pm, on more than one occasion, I’ve had to wait for a long time for food. Usually a quarter pounder. Other people were waiting tonight their food. A long time. Meanwhile cars are going through the drive through and getting service quicker. Apparently that is the priority. As a former employee of McDonald’s, like many people, some say 1 in 10 have worked at the Golden Arches. It used to be great training. Here in the Gouv, there doesn’t seem to be a rush to get food out. Maybe there’s not enough staff. Maybe better training is needed. Perhaps better supervision would help. Is 20 minutes too long to wait for a quarter pounder with cheese? (Deluxe) Oh and the chocolate shake was out. I needed to choose between vanilla or strawberry. Just asking Because years ago service was prompt. What has happened?

I went through the drive through tonight and ordered my family of three dinner. The line was really long and I had to wait over a half hour just to get my order in. Once I get to the window to get my order the young girl opens the window and whips my drinks at me spilling them all over my hands. I think that was very unprofessional and rude these young kids need to learn respect. I will not be coming back the last few times I’ve come there the staff has been very very rude!

Twice now my daughter and I have encountered a rude employee at the window at McDonald’s in Gouverneur. All the rest of the employees are nice except for this one particular employee. She is exceptionally rude especially if you ask for something such as no ice or try to correct an order that has a mistake. Today was the last straw for my daughter who is sick and definitely did not need the rude treatment she got from this one girl. My daughter spoke to the manager who just brushed it off. It is too bad that one Very rude girl has to try to make this McDonald’s look bad. Twice you have been rude to me and twice to my daughter. Please don’t try to make our Local McDonalds look bad to people who drive through. You should be a greeter at Walmart and not spoil our appetite!!!

I live around gouverneur. I go to McDonald's pretty often. Usually when I go the food is normally wrong. Always check your food to make sure they have it made correctly. The taste is okay. Other than the fries always taste old, I assume they need to change the oil more to improve that. Drive through is kind of slow as well to be honest. The service is okay but the manager with brown hair and glasses is pretty rude every time you have to bring your food back up because it's incorrect. She always checks your receipt to make sure you had what you're bringing up and always makes you repeat your entire order. Like honestly ma'am, do you honestly think I would be bringing my food back up if it weren't made incorrectly? And the fact that she always acts like that makes me feel like she's in playing that you're lying or something 🤷🏻‍♀️

Dirty floors, dirty tables and chairs. Fries all over the place. Out of ketchup at the station. Dirty and filthy drains. Don't get me started on my chicken sandwich. Wilted lettuce. Terrible and you should be ashamed..

Pretty sure someone must have walked off the job. The "fast" food took 20 minutes and all the workers looked and acted miserable

Terrible husband right leg and hand got burnt from coffee the cover wasn't on it going to through drive thru. Reported to Manager Kayleigh she offered free coffee huh!!! Also stained the tshirt and shorts he was wearing. No rating!!!

Poor service. Manager Wendy was rude. They push the sugar and creamer buttons to fast so you don't get the amount you ask for. They also don't stir the coffee unless you ask and they pick and choose who waits on who. Sloppy burgers.

RIDICULOUS....get rid of the girl/guy taking orders....they are horrible....cant understand it most times and NEVER gives you your change back unless you ask for it!! I wish that I could say 0. I ordered 6 chicken nuggets, fries, and a chicken burger. The fries were okay, but the chicken items were gross. They tasted like they were held under led water for an hour.

#dobettermcdonalds in Gouverneur NY Today I went to order dinner . I asked for 4meals. 2-were 6piece chicken nugget happy meals one with dr.pepper the other with sprite. With BBQ and sweet and sour sauce. One MED. 2 burger meal (without pickles or onions) W/SPRITE and one LARGE double quarter pounder meal with no onions W/SPRITE AT THE DRIVE THROUGH . The guy on the speaker said does everything look correct? 1st Mistake . I said no the quarter pounder meal was supposed to be large not a med. Which I got a reply of ok have them fix it at the first window. Get that fixed and paid go to the pickup window and I'm handed 4 drinks 2.mistake all sprite so I say so sorry it was supposed to be 1.dr.pepper 3 sprites. Get that fixed get the rest of my order check the bag 3.mistake NO SAUCE so I pull around and send my daughter in to ask for sauce. Then get all the way home to find mistake 4. only fries and a toy in the happy meal boxes ugh🤦🏼‍♀️ so I call and talk to a Male manager who says come back and I will remake them for u they will be ready for u as soon as u get here. So I drive back down there wait a while before I'm even acknowledged by a female manager who didn't have any knowledge of my complaint. Then took the time to put in the remake and fill it her self.(thank you for fixing the mistake ) WOW. 5 MISTAKES IN 1 ORDER IS 5 TO MANY. DO BETTER.

Worst place to eat. Cold food. Soggy fries. My crispy chicken was burnt to a crisp and cold seemed like they left it under the heat lamp all day. Didn't even put the sandwich together right sauce allover the place. Barely any lettuce. Place is a joke. Will be calling tomorrow and complaining to management. And if have to will be calling the corporate headquarters.

When I pulled up to the drive thru being the only car I was told in a rude manner that I had to wait and then I still had to wait for someone to take my order for 3 minutes just for them to pull me ahead waiting for my order then drop it on the ground and come out smiling then caused me to be late to work because they had to remake all of the food while other cars go through the drive thru and get their orders. #Get better employees McDonald’s you can do better than that.

40 minutes in the drive thru, just for them to mess the order up. I don't mind being patient but Seriously??? 40 minutes for 2 drinks and 2 mcchickens only to mess them up is ridiculous. Rude and slow service. Would avoid if you don't like the long wait.

We all know McDonald's isn't known for it's fine food or service but when they consistently mess up simple orders or serve old food and fries, you'd think they'd be a bit more personable to make up for it. Alas, the service is near as bad as the food. Always check before you leave because 99/100 they messed up your order. Gouverneur McDonald's should be avoided.

We placed an order on the mobile app and got nuggets and fries. We eat our fries with ranch and Buffalo so we ordered extras. When we got to the store I ran in to grab the food and the manager calls me to the counter to say "so you got 16 sauces do you really need 16 sauces?" I am immediately taken back because as someone who works in customer service I know that is NOT to way you talk to your customers. So as I'm trying to push my frustration aside she continues on to tell me that I either have to pay for the extra sauces or she's not going to give me the amount I ordered. I try to explain that I'm just the one running in to grab the food not the one who placed the order but she kept talking over me to repeat how excessive it was and that they're going to make me pay for them if I want that many. I told her to just do whatever she wanted because I wasn't the one who placed the order. She cut me down on my sauces. What confuses me is if your mobile app allows you to order that many sauces then does the restaurant not have to honor this? I know not all food chains have control over the app BUT it's still something that should be honored. And to ask "do you really need that many?" Is so unprofessional. Purposefully embarrassing customer is ridiculous.

Ordered on the app waited for 25 minutes to get 2 happy meals. Finialy went inside and asked for the order which still wasn't ready. Staff seemed very unconcerned.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Went to McDonald’s after just coming into town and was getting my son and nephew two happy meals. I only got one. Then when I asked about it I when I only received one. The woman then got very rude and kept telling me I needed to go around. And I said I wasn’t going back around and then she said it’s not my fault. Very very rude bunch of customers. Then I had to have my sister run in and grab it and the manager really asked what she was getting and charged her $5.07 after the happy meal was already paid for. Very very unhappy with this experience. This is how you treat people who are from out of town? I paid over $30 for all this food just for it to not even be hot as well.

I ordered dinner for my family and paid for it on the app. My husband went to pick it up. He pulled up to the intercom and gave them my Mobil order number. He was instructed to pull ahead. He pulled up to the first window just to collect my printed receipt as the order was already paid for on the app. When he arrived at the first window nobody was there. He sat at the window waiting as he watched 3 cars ahead of him pick orders and leave. So figuring he had waited a bit he pulled ahead to the 2nd window. A young lady walked up to the window and said," Did you pay??" To which my husband replied, "yes its paid Mobil order." She said, "You have to stop at the first window so she can tell us that your order is ready." My husband replies that he did stop at the first window and nobody was there. To which she replied, "You saw her coming!" And walked away.... Assuming and accusing is poor customer service. For the record, he did NOT see anyone coming to the window and had already waited while 3 cars ahead of him cleared out so he could collect a paper receipt for a PAID order. He had waited long enough to drive ahead. So he gets home with our food after about the 8 minute drive and the food quality was just as bad as the service. My husband had ordered the new Double Cheesy Bacon Jalapeño QPC. It was a hot mess that looked like it was just thrown into the box. For the cheesy sauce it had a silver dollar size amount on the top bun so it was lacking the cheesy sauce. We had one happy meal that only had 1 side in it which was one tiny red box of fries and we had ordered fries for both sides for that one. Another happy meal had 1 small white bag of fries and a bag of apple slices in it. The bag of apple slices contained 4 single slices. Lol The rest of the food was okay buy sloppy. I wouldn't usually call but with poor service and poor quality food, I did. The manager was nice and understanding. However, the only way he was going to fix it anything is if we drove another 8 to 10 minutes from our home to McDonald's to get it fixed. This is after (the drive there, drive back, wait time) 30 or more minutes to get dinner in the first place and to go fix it would be that amount of time again. We just wanted to eat dinner.

I ordered a steak egg cheese bagel. It had no sauce or onions on it. It was dry and tasteless. The potato was not salted either. Disappointed

Placed my order along with two milkshakes one vanilla one chocolate, which when order received they gave me one milkshake half vanilla half chocolate when I tried to correct her she said you’ll have to pay for the other shake! First of all I ordered two shakes, secondly not half vanilla half chocolate! Very rude taking my order in the first place! Will not visit here again EVER! Mind you I spent 25.00 dollars for BS the burgers are as thin as paper!

This was the slowest McDonalds restaurant I have ever been to. Over 5 minutes to order with only 2 cars in each row. 7 minutes to get my food with only 6 cars in front of me. The fries were soggy and oil and my burger was put together by a 3 year old

Absolutely horrible took my niece out to get ice cream after a movie and around midnight when we got back in town waited at the intercom for 10 minutes before my order was taken then pulled up to the first window the ladies standing back there playing on her phone get so I drive to the second window the same ladie that was just in her phone came up and gave me all my food that I didn’t even pay for yet I should have just pulled away but then I went to hand her my card bc I’m a decent guy and she says oh you didn’t pay yet, like seriously do your job!!!

Waited 30 minutes before my order was taken at the drive through then waited an additional 20 minutes because the kept making my burger and according to the person working the window it kept “coming up raw” my daughters drink barely had anything in it not even half full and her nuggets for her happy meal were still frozen

They ignored us, took us 25-30 minutes to get our food and then still forgot half of it. Now that they have the kiosks they don’t even look twice at anybody who is waiting. Then when we asked about our missing McDoubles, the lady was rude and said ‘it’s a daily double’ as if that matters and as if she needed to be rude about it. They forgot our food. We didn’t even get our drink cups until after 20 minutes of waiting. I’d imagine anyone who would attempt to order with cash would be waiting 20 minutes to be even talked to much less get their food. Never coming here again, we will drive 20 minutes away for the next McDonalds to avoid this service.

⭐ 1 Star (only because zero isn’t an option) McDonald’s – Gouverneur, NY If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to age 10 years waiting for a cheeseburger, swing by this McDonald’s. We waited 45 minutes for food so basic even a microwave would’ve been embarrassed. The staff looked allergic to work lots of standing around, laughing, and pretending the counter was a stage for their comedy routine. When a nearby customer politely said, “We’ve been waiting forever, we’re not coming back,” the staff actually said, “Good, we hope you don’t.” I’ve seen better customer service from a self-checkout machine having a meltdown. The place? A biohazard. Sticky floors, trash on tables, soda machine looked like it survived a food fight. You’ll lose your appetite faster than your patience. Kids behind the counter goofing off like it’s a TikTok challenge called “Ignore the Orders.” Management? Missing in action. Probably still waiting on their food too. Save yourself. Go to literally any other McDonald’s, gas station, or tree stump with Wi-Fi it’ll be faster, cleaner, and friendlier.

It’s not often I go to McDonald’s but, this particular McDonald’s loves to have you pay for the opposite of your expectations. I go probably 1 or 2 times a month when in a pinch. I always order a double quarter pounder plain and McNuggets. But, now with the selects and rebirth of the snack wrap that’s the new go to. But after this last experience, I ordered 4 ranch snack wraps no lettuce after taking 15 min getting to the speaker. Then 35 minutes getting to window 1. Every time I tried pulling about another vehicle would then they would honk the horn the flip me the bird. Then when I go to pay the window lady responded what do you expect? Then lastly getting home after 63 minutes in the drive thru. I open all 4 wraps and none are what I ordered and all 4 have more lettuce than any other meal served. No sauce, no cheese. Just chicken, lettuce and bread. Gouverneur McDonald’s should be the last stop for anyone’s food needs. You don’t get what you pay for then receive backlash from employees because “what do you expect”

Terrible atmosphere, young 20 yr olds just hanging out all over each other inside at different tables playing on their phones and not eating or anything, guess it’s just a new hangout spot for people who don’t have to spend any money for air conditioning and to charge their devices. The store locks up the napkins and doesn’t allow you to get any unless they give them to you? Barely got enough when we had to ask for them.

I swear it's the worst McDonald's Ive ever been to. We sit in line in a double line when there's barely any cars and then get told there's no need for an attitude. Sorry we've been sitting in a line watching you people call one side at a time when there's a double window in the middle of dinner rush. I've worked fast food and I get it when your busy. Then we get our food and apple slices are missing and fries are hard as hell and it's just the worst McDonald's food I've ever tasted. I'm telling you I hate going to this place.

I went the drive threw and ordered 2 fish sandwiches without tarter sauce. Still got a little tarter sauce on them. The ticket even said no tarter sauce. I also got a large number 2. The sandwich had so much sauce when I opened the box up the top of the sandwich slide out and fell on my brand new sweatshirt. The fries were not even cook all the way and only a half of a box. I think they took them out early because there was a line of cars. The girl at the window handed me my soda was very rude . I asked her a question and she said move up to the next parking space. So then I asked her again and she said the same thing. She was also playing with her hair . Nasty Nasty

This place has gone downhill the last few months. This isn’t just a small mistake when it keeps happening ,the first time I let it go but whoever’s the new manager here needs to do a better job! Also I called him and told him what had happened but very rude an disrespectful over the phone. I told him my sandwich has like no sauce on it and it was the wrong chicken sandwich that I got. He replied I watched them make your sandwich and it has lots of sauce on it and then he said also you didn’t order a deluxe sandwich and I said I can bring in my sandwich and my receipt to show you i did not order this and and you need to do a better job because this is the second time this has happened to me , also he says to me we are doing a great job and there isn’t anything I can do if you bring it back or show me because I know what you ordered and how it was made. The first time I let it go because mistakes happen but when this has happened to my friends and family lots of times it’s not just a mistake anymore.
