Mama's Pizza

Absolutely delicious!!! We ordered a large pizza with Italian sausage, mushrooms and tomatoes. It was so good. We also ordered wings. I highly recommend the Garlic Parmesan wings. They were the best I ever had!!!! I highly recommend Mama's Pizza when you are in Granbury. We ordered and took it back to our hotel and enjoyed it so very much!!

When I think of pizza for dinner, I only think of Mama's pizza before other big box chains. I first tried their pizza when a family friend brought pizza when we were moving into our new place. It was love at first bite! Being new to Granbury I wasn't able to locate them on Google Maps. It turns out, they were close to home. I was told they opened in September but they were having trouble updating on Google Maps. I submitted a request to Google to add their location and so here we are. My photos are from early December. This place is hands-down 5 stars.

I gave this place another shot cus I heard they got new owners and damn!!!!! It's like a night and day difference omg, the food was actually fresh and the soda is actually carbonated😂 also I think they got new lights or something cause it used to be like a dungeon in there lol

This location is under new ownership and management! The inside was renovated and is super clean. Was a kid friendly corner with arcade games. The staff was patient, friendly and helpful while ordering! The food came out hot and delicious! If you haven’t been in a while I would recommend stopping by and giving it a new try!!!

This was our first time here and it did NOT disappoint. We ended up having the buffet and everything was fresh and delicious. Hennessy, the hostess/cashier, was amazing! We were a little indecisive about what we wanted for lunch, and she was so patient and friendly. We will definitely be back. Thank you Hennessy!!

We had a large veggie and a small pepperoni and Italian sausage pizzas to go. Both were tasty. They had a good amount of toppings with a nice garlicky crust on the ends. Much better than Pizza Hut or Dominoes! A large reg crust was plenty for 4 people. The pizzas did reheat nicely as leftovers.

We had a great birthday celebration at Mama’s pizza. There were 8 of us, the salads, wings and pizzas were all excellent. We even had a cauliflower crust pizza and loved it! The place looks fun, and was very clean, bathroom too. The service staff was very friendly and we were served right away. The new owner has this place running great! I highly recommend it!

They truly care about the quality of the food they serve, as well as the customers that they are serving to. If you haven't stopped by, or given it a try recently, I would highly recommend it, you will not be disappointed! I came for the lunch buffet and left with a full stomach. Decent. Somewhat delightful. Definitely not dastardly. Deemed to be delicious. Dog gonnit, people like it. Actually, it really wasn't bad but I wouldn't say it's the best pizza I've ever had. I'd consider going there again.

It's not a bad pie, but it certainly is not what I as a New Yorker would call home style. That said, it's still a decent pie.

Very run of the mill pizza. Expensive for what you get. They never updated the online order tracker, so i just hadd to go in at 30 minutes and hope my pizza was ready. Paid 23.00 for a large 2 topping, and a full 1/4 of the slice is folded over crust, So my 16 in pizza was really about 13 in of edible pizza. I will find elsewhere in Granbury to get pizza in the future.

We usually get pizzas to take home but we tried their buffet recently. Mama's pizza is worth the wait but it took too long for the crowd favorites to hit the buffet. We had to ask for fresh salad for the salad bar and they did bring out a fresh bowl...just took a while. There were a lot of dirty tables that needed to be bused; we bused our table before we left. We will try the buffet again sometime, maybe; we will definitely do pizza takeout again!

This is the second time we've tried Mama's pizza. First time was right after they opened and it was all wrong. We decided to give them another shot now that they've been open for some time and they ended up making our order wrong again. Only this time they remade it quickly and gave us the mistake, which I was thankful for. Service was excellent. I'm not a big pizza fan, so I'm going to try not to be too judgey here. The pizza itself is very thin & it was soggy on the bottom with a ton of crust folded over on itself. It was a bit much. I got a small 4 piece pepperoni pizza. Hubby got a 6 piece thin crust pepperoni. Nothing fancy. The thin crust was better, I'd probably recommend that over the regular version. To the eye, it's beautiful pizza. Seriously, 5 stars for presentation. It looks amazing. But that's as far as it goes. Taste is something entirely different and it's just not there. It's also very over priced imo. 2 little pizzas, breadstix, and 2 salads that were just cut up lettuce with some diced tomato thrown on top was almost $50 with tip. That's pretty ridiculous. Last thing, I've gone in that building twice since it opened and both times it smells like sewage. Maybe dirty dish water? This last time wasn't as bad as the first time, but there is a strange aroma in the building that isn't very appetizing. I hate to be so harsh to a local business, I'm just giving an honest opinion. Hopefully your experience is a better one!!

If you've ever eaten at a pizza hut buffet, you've had better. From the browning Lettuce on the salad bar to the abysmal pizza selection at lunch on a Saturday this was a sad affair. The one good thing about it, it's cheaper to do this than to order a pizza.

Food was cold on the buffet line and old . Kids running the place. No care at all and no friendliness. I would choose another place to eat lunch. Such a shame no adults there to supervise. Just Gross

The pizza that I is not really maintained and updated the pizzas are allowed to set out and become a little cold and undesirable sad for establishment that has great history and usually phenomenal pizza today’s buffet fails ✔️ Mama‘s Pizza please put my fresh pizza out on your buffet you let it get cold and nobody likes it;(

My wife and I at there today (January 23, 2022). The staff was friendly, the service was good; But, in my opinion, the price was on the high side, and the pizza was bland. The pizza and ingredients appeared to be fresh, and it was served hot, but we ordered the pizza with everything and it had more hot peppers than meats. I paid $40 dollars with the tip and although not dissatisfied, not real happy either. I don't think I will be back.

Decent flavor but where are the toppings? 19$ for a medium with barely any cheese. I prefer the Hudson Oaks location over Granbury for Mama's. We will be going to Alex's in Granbury. The young girl was eating at the checkout desk as I was picking my pizza. Give those poor kids a break. Hard pass in the future.

the pizza was very underwhelming, and overpriced. I walk-in and ordered a large pizza , The lady at the counter told me 20-25 minutes before it would be ready . I sit in my car , in their parking lot, and went inside after 17 minutes. The pizza had already been sitting somewhere, They tried to charge be again for the pizza , until they released i was the same guy that just came in ago. when it was retrieved. The pizzabox was already cold to the touch when i grabbed it. I ask them , Did the pizza just came out of the oven? They look at me said yes. I go home in five minutes , and open the box and pizza was completely cold. I had to reheat the pizza in my oven . i was the only person there , at the time. I called the establishment to rectify the situation. i heard screaming between the two, and i heard one of them questioning the legitimacy of my complaint. They did offer , a discount on next purchase. But after my experience, why would i go back there. Pizza is not worth it , and the service is worse than the pizza. Horrible service like most places in granbury, tx .

Ordered 2 pizzas and 1 order of breadsticks to be delivered. Only delivered 1 pizza and 1 breadstick. Called store and was told that we needed to come get the third pizza. I paid for delivery. When we returned to get the pizza they had it still and gave us the cold pizza they forgot to send with delivery. By the time we got home the other items were cold as well. In this economy things aren't cheap. Tried to get my family a nice treat for a hard week and it was basically a waste of 80 dollars. Thanks for reading.

Absolutely AWFUL!! We ordered bread sticks and some wings. Bread sticks had zero flavor, very hard and looked like the box had been shaken up when we opened it. The wings were very small and were bland as well.

The food is good, but these people couldn’t care less about their customers. We have come in multiple times with another couple when it’s completely dead and they’ll bring out one pizza and sit on the other one for 30+ minutes. Today was no exception. There was nobody else seated in the restaurant and my family and another couple ordered 3 pizzas and 5 wings. 1 pizza was brought out. 30 minutes later, nothing. I went up to check on the order and they immediately brought out the wings. No pizza. By then, our friends had long since finished their food. After another 10 minutes I got up and one of the kids at the counter went back and found the pizzas had been ready all along. They just never brought them out. To make matters worse, I tipped 15%. Again, they don’t care!

$32 for ONE large pizza!! Am I in NYC or LA? It’s Granbury TX! Then wanted a tip to pick up myself. Even the employee said yeah it’s really high for that price! It’s really not that good for that price..I could get 6 large papa John’s pizzas for that price. Never again!

We have ordered 5 or 6 times from the Granbury location. Only once has the pizza been done. On our last two orders the dough was almost raw and the sauce was cold. I normally do not write bad reviews but I love the Mama’s in Fort Worth and want the Granbury location to be as good. I don’t know if maybe their ovens aren’t calibrated right. I hope it gets fixed so we can enjoy them.

I went there and asked what kind of deal I could get for my 7 year old daughters Birthday that I wanted to have on a Sunday at 3 pm. The assistant manager said we don't do deals only VIP passes. Okay so 25 people at your slow time of the day for a Birthday party isn't worth giving a discount... Apparently they are so packed all the time 24/7 they don't need Birthday Party's for kids in their establishment. So 10 pizzas with tax and drinks would be over $200.00 plus a tip... Who needs that??? Anyway...Alex's Pizza in Granbury gave me an INCREDIBLE DEAL and was all too Happy to host my daughter's 7th Birthday Party for less than 1/2 of what Mama's was trying to Ramrod me for. I will never eat there again and I will certainly tell everyone I know not to waste their money on a place that has RUDE EMPLOYEES, BAD SERVICE AND SUBSTANDARD PIZZA.
