Opinions de Farina's Winery & Cafe Granbury
We had a birthday party celebration at Farina's and it was great! The staff, especially Jenilee, was so friendly & helpful, food was delicious and the atmosphere was beautiful. Highly recommend for an event or date night.
If you haven’t eaten at Farina’s Winery & Cafe in Granbury, what are you even doing with your life? I ordered the cheesesteak wrap, and let me tell you… it didn’t come to play. It showed up packed like it had something to prove — juicy, cheesy, perfectly messy in the best way possible. The kind of meal where you take one bite and immediately stop talking because your taste buds need a moment of silence. My mom got the cheeseburger, and I’m pretty sure she considered canceling all future meals just to commit to that burger full-time. Thick, flavorful, and big enough to make you question your life choices (in the best way). And let’s talk about Hannah — she was AMAZING. She helped us pick exactly what to order (clearly steering us in the right direction) and somehow kept our drinks filled like she had a sixth sense for empty glasses. Friendly, attentive, and just the right amount of “I got you.” Our only complaint? Our stomachs were not big enough to finish everything. Honestly devastating. We needed a bigger appetite and maybe stretchy pants. 10/10. Incredible food, incredible service, and we’ll absolutely be back — next time with reinforcements.
Absolutely amazing experience! We had the tortellini and the margarita pizza, and both were incredible and fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. You can really taste the quality in every bite. Jenny took great care of us and made the whole evening even better with her attentive and friendly service. We’ll definitely be back!
It has been a while since we dined at Farina's. We had a wonderful evening and our server, Peyton, was very attentive and truly made us feel that she happy to attend to us! Such a positive server, tasty pizza, and a lovely time - live music would have put the experience over the top.
went for dinner with my girls tonight, we got saw with rylee. Best service i’ve had at farinas! she was the sweetest girl always checked up on us and made sure food was good and we were too. definitely will be back to see her!
Great lunch spot. Split the ribeye flatbread and Italian salad. Food was delicious . The pizza had lots of meat , just the right amount of cheese and touch of banana pizza. The wine by the glass was perfect to go with the pizza. The staff was friendly.
Delicious food! We had lasagna and salmon. Our waitress, Jeni Little was amazing. She is so knowledgeable about the cocktails and wine selections. The Pinot Noir was a perfect pairing!
We ate dinner here last night & it was OUTSTANDING! The food was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! I had the Atlantic salmon & my husband had the baked fish. The staff was super friendly & attentive. We look forward to going back again!
My friends took me here for part of my bachelorette party, and I absolutely loved the wine and the shrimp scampi. Because the wine was the best I’d ever had, I came back with my husband, and it was just as wonderful as I remembered. Both ports on the wine menu were perfect, but my personal favorite was the first one because it reminds me of candied pecans, cinnamon, and a little bit of chocolate. I got the Atlantic Salmon, which was divine. The veggies were the stars of the show in my opinion because they were so flavorful. My only note is that I wish there was a little more wine sauce on the salmon. My husband got the lobster ravioli, which was just as rich, creamy, and delicious as it looks in the photo. The spinach and artichoke stuffed mushrooms paired with our wine made my tastebuds dance. I think this was my favorite meal of 2025!
Really enjoy the beautiful bar area at Farinas in Granbury. Whether it’s just a glass of wine or couple of appetizers. It has a great atmosphere with amazing, friendly and attentive staff. Big shout out to 2 of the best Bartenders, Heather and Hannah. They are the best.
We had the best evening! Heather took the best care of us. She gave great recommendations on beer and wine and we loved the rib eye pizza she told us about! We will be back, especially to see our girl!
I have to be honest, our food (pasta dishes) were good, but not fabulous. Both my girlfriend and I love to cook, so we were a little disappointed. We both agree more basil, garlic and oregano would really enhance both dishes. I will say it was a big community celebration weekend, and they were busy. The ambience was fabulous. It’s a fun place. The best part of the evening was our server Heather. She was delightful. She was extremely busy, serving the bar, where we sat. In spite of how busy she was, we never wanted for anything, nor had to wait. She’s bubbly, obviously enjoys what she does, and provides top notch service. We’d go back and hope that Heather was there! Thank you Heather for making our first Granbury Farina’s experience so fun.
We had our wedding and reception at Farina's and it was lovely! Mel did a great job preparing us and asking all the right questions. The food was delicious and so many of our guests said they would be back to eat there. The patio and castle room was perfect for our party of about 65. This is a great place to have a wedding! We are so thankful for this place! Vernon and Janene Gray
Love Farina's! When they first opened ages ago I swore I'd never go back. It was awful! They changed owners a while back and I dared to try it again. Wow! What a difference. Delicious food, especially the lasagna and chicken piccata. Cheese bread is addictive. They're one of the few restaurants in Granbury that doesn't close on Mondays and/or other days. They're open everyday. Great lunch specials and wine Wednesday. Beautiful, welcoming environment. Service has gotten better. In the past, it was hit or miss.
Farina's Winery & Cafe is a true Granbury gem, a cozy and intimate spot that feels like a European escape without the jet lag. It's the kind of place you'll want to linger in, sipping wine and savoring every bite. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with exposed brick, soft lighting, and a charming courtyard that's perfect for a romantic evening or a relaxed get-together with friends. The food is the star of the show. The menu offers a delicious mix of Italian-inspired dishes and American classics, all executed with a touch of elegance. The Caprese sandwich is a standout, with its fresh mozzarella, juicy tomatoes, and vibrant pesto. Another must-try is the Farina's Famous Lasagna, a rich and comforting dish that's a testament to traditional Italian cooking. The generous wine list features a fantastic selection of Texas wines alongside notable international labels, with knowledgeable staff ready to help you find the perfect pairing for your meal. Beyond the food and wine, the service is impeccable—attentive but never intrusive, and genuinely welcoming. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Farina's is a culinary experience you won't forget. It's more than just a restaurant; it's a destination. If you're looking for a place that combines great food, a relaxed ambiance, and excellent service, Farina's Winery & Cafe is an absolute must-visit.
My husband and I were visiting Granbury for the first time. We went to Farina’s for dinner and received great customer service as soon as we walked in. Our waitress was Payton! She was amazing and soo sweet! Payton recommended a delicious wine and took care of us the whole time. We ordered spaghetti and baked chicken Alfredo! Everything was delicious! We will definitely be back again!
WOW!! This restaurant is always a great experience! While we were not able to enjoy their patio; the atmosphere, food and customer service still rocked! We ordered food to share and it was absolutely delicious and perfect! Highly recommend any and everything from their menu and the wine slushes are a must!
This is a great place to stop in while in Granbury. Their decor and ambiance was very fitting. The service was quick and friendly. They did forget to bring my wine out and so i did have to ask her twice, but that was the only issue. I got a steak for lunch at a incredible price. It was only a 5oz but it was more than enough for me. Which i was give more asparagus though. But seriously, that was a great deal and what makes this place a must stop considering the value. My friends tried each others food out and we all like everything. According to my friends their sangria was really good and had a great amount of alcohol. We were all stuffed by the end. Its one of the few quality restaurants open on Mondays so they should get a bonus start. We made the mistake of coming to granbury on a Monday when apparently a lot of places are not open. Glad this place cared enough about visitors to be open.
Farinas is definitely a place to visit for a meal on the square. The atmosphere is great and the building is beautiful. My server Rylee was amazing she was very attentive to all her tables and was very friendly. I hope we get to have her serve us on our next visit.
Food was good. Atmosphere was fine. Service was lacking. Literally everything was wrong and waitress was not very apologetic. My salad was wrong both times it came out but I just took it the second time as it was. I added chicken to the salad and there was about half the amount of chicken on the second salad they brought out as The first one they brought out too. Which just felt intentional as if it was my fault it was wrong. Our appetizer was wrong and she never fixed it even though she said she would. One of the people at our table didn’t get her drink for over 30minutes when a few of us got our second round ordered after her first round. My daughter’s food was wrong. Server was nice but idk why nothing seemed to go right or smooth. There was 8 of us and when she split our tickets up, that wasn’t even right. Just felt like she wasn’t paying attention to what we were telling her. She didn’t even get my husbands drink order when she first came to our table; totally skipped him and left before he could mention/stop her. Just ruined the visit.
Heather the bartender is the best! She makes a great old fashioned! The creme brulee is awesome! However there are no Stakes available on the menu and the pasta is seriously lacking in a flavor. Don't get me wrong I love Granbury and I hope the best for all of our really great restaurants but we should really try harder!
This was my wife and I first time coming here. I've seen alot of people on Google maps say high remarks about the baked lasagna. My lasagna didn't taste very well. It taste like it was spoiled or had some kind of alcohol in it. My wife tried a bite of my lasagna and she said the same thing. My wife had the chicken alfredo and it was good. Both our salads was very good. We'll cone back to give them another chance, but will not order the lasagna.
My wife and I had a great time here. Walked in without reservations and only had to wait 30-45 minutes so we walked around the square. Service was good for an understaffed place. We were expecting local wines but it was all Californian, Italian, etc. Our appetizer never showed up. The food was good, nice atmosphere. Bread wasn't anything special. Definitely worth a try if you're in old town Granbury
Arrived for our 6:00 reservation and got seated in the bar area. After sitting for more than 5 minutes, noticed the bar tender was also the waitress for the 4 tables in the bar area. Took another 10 minutes to get our drinks and order dinner. After 20 minutes, we got our salads but no dressing for one of the salads. Very hard to flag down the busy waitress to request dressing, and had to go to the bar to request salt and pepper. The entrees come in 2 sizes, full and half. Half must be a bite because full barely filled up our 11-y-o toothpick granddaughter. The food deliverer hunted for 3 minutes to find the single crushed red pepper shaker. Terribly unimpressed with the service, and the food was certainly nothing special.
Farina’s: Come Hungry. Leave Elderly. We had a 6:30 reservation at Farina’s. That apparently meant “stand around until 7:00 and think about your life choices.” Strike one. Once seated, the real endurance test began. It took 45 minutes to get drinks and appetizers. Not craft cocktails. Not soufflés. Basic drinks and apps. During this time, our waitress offered zero explanation—no apology, no update, no “hey, the kitchen is on fire.” Just vibes. Eventually, another waitress—clearly the MVP of the night—let us know they were having kitchen staffing issues. Helpful information. Would’ve been nice to hear that before we completed a full season of a Netflix series at the table. Dinner arrived over an hour later. So let’s recap: • Reservation: 6:30 • Food arrival: Somewhere around “why are we still here” o’clock • Exit time: 9:30 PM Three. Hours. To eat mediocre Italian food. Speaking of the food—disappointing and expensive is a bold combo. I ordered shrimp scampi and was served shrimp Alfredo. When I asked about it, I was told they “recently changed the recipe” and it’s apparently not shrimp scampi anymore. That’s an interesting strategy—changing a classic dish into a completely different dish but keeping the same name. By that logic, my Honda is now a Ferrari. Finally, when we tried to pay and escape, it took 15 more minutes just to get our cards back. At that point, I half expected them to offer us pajamas and a breakfast menu. If you’re looking for a place to: • Spend 3 hours on one meal • Be left completely in the dark by your server • Eat overpriced, underwhelming food • Order one dish and receive a totally different one Farina’s is the place for you. If not—make a reservation literally anywhere else. On a positive note, the building was really cool. It’s a shame because Granbury could have a really nice spot to gather with friends and family. But unfortunately looks like Farinas is following in the footsteps of the Granbury leadership.
Absolutely disgusting! Save yourself- we got food poisoning!! Made reservations- they said they didn’t have it so we ended up having to sit at the bar. Then we ordered a meal, the salad and bread never came. I asked for it after the entree was delivered and there were tortilla chips in the salad? The Alfredo, was so expensive for a portion that can sit in your hand. The chicken was not real- it was rubber and fatty. Also, the flatbread- is store bought! They literally just put sauce and topping on top of a bread they buy! To top it off, we all got food poisoning!!!! Please stay away!
