We had a wonderful evening. The weather was beautiful, so we sat outside. We got delicious and different appetizers. We had a seafood platter for dinner. I’m extremely picky about the freshness of my seafood. Union did not disappoint! Everything was fresh and top notch. I got an espresso martini, don’t to perfection. Jamie was a wonderful, pleasant server. We highly recommend this restaurant. We will be back
Excellent in every aspect. We did their cocktail masterclass and had so much fun and learned a ton about making drinks… I know now why I can’t make drinks at home as good as bartenders. Anoz gave a perfect masterclass. We stayed for dinner and had the ceviche app which was exceptional! Sweet and spicy combo with crunchy plantains. We also had the scallop risotto which was perfectly balanced and cooked and the salmon which was one of the best we have had in all our travels. Excellent place for dinner and drinks.
This was not only our best meal while on Cayman but one of our best meals we have EVER had anywhere! Our waitress Natalie was the best and so sweet and provided us with top notch service to go along with the amazing food. The owner was also great and very nice and spoke with us after as well and thanked us for coming. We know the first restaurant we are coming back to the next time we come to Cayman!
Stopped in by chance and sat at the bar, had the absolute best time. The bartender worked at the Ritz for several years and it shows, he makes really special beverages and is so professional. Wish I got his name, sorry! The entire team here is the embodiment of hospitality, not just with us but with the other guests I observed. May have been the best time we had on the island, can't recommend the bar experience enough.
My wife and I just had lunch at Union. It was an amazing experience from beginning to end. Both the owner and our server, Chaz, were so friendly and attentive. They gave us wonderful recommendations. The restaurant itself is also beautifully decorated and the booth we sat at was incredibly comfortable. We had the Mushroom Pate, which was incredible! I wish they could have bottled more of it to take home. It was absolutely delicious. My wife had the Poke, which had extremely fresh Yellowfin Tuna and the most wonderful accompaniments. The sesame dressing was the perfect sauce to the dish. I had the lamb burger and it was extremely flavorful and juicy. The feta, cucumber, and grilled onions complimented the flavors of the lamb perfectly. We can’t wait to come back and have dinner here next time we are in Grand Cayman! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Grand Cayman.
I had such a great dining experience at Union. The filet was excellent—super tender, high quality, and full of flavor. The grilled lobster and the lobster mac and cheese were both delicious and definitely worth trying. The atmosphere was one of my favorite parts. It felt like a swanky European restaurant, but still relaxed and welcoming—classy without being stuffy. Perfect for a nice night out in Camana Bay. Highly recommend!
Beautiful restaurant with a friendly and pleasant staff. The Union ceviche was delicious with just the right amount of heat from the scotch bonnet sorbet. The lobster roll and tuna poke bowl were fresh and tasty. Overall wonderful experience.
Best restaurant on the island. Loved it so much we ate there 2 of our 5 nights. The union seafood platter is extraordinary. The service is exceptional!
I love this place! Everything we ordered (food n drinks) was delicious. The creamy garlic wine sauce was mouth watering. The best wine sauce I’ve ever tasted. The customer service was one of the best. Thanks Chaz for being an awesome server and for helping my friends and I celebrate two birthdays! Also, thank you for all of your recommendations 🤗🤗🤗🤗. Excellent! Service and vibe was great. We had the rib and marrow appetizer and then the lobster risotto and seafood linguine. Everything was delicious ! I would definitely go back.
My wife and I were looking for a great place for breakfast on our way to the airport on a Saturday morning. Turns out Union Grill and Bar serves breakfast on the weekend So we stopped by. I have to believe they are not doing a great job advertising their weekend breakfast because the place is located in a great mixed use facility, has a killer vibe and the food was super awesome. Looking at an all day flying schedule to get back home to California we wanted something that would last so we both got the steak and eggs. This came with roasted tomatoes, mushrooms, beans, toast with delicious strawberry jam and homemade hollandaise sauce. The steak was cooked perfectly and the coffee was strong and hot. The service was great, everyone involved made sure we had everything we needed at all times. If you find yourself in Grand Cayman on a Saturday or Sunday morning you deserve to treat yourself and grab breakfast or a drink at The Union.
A-Z this was a 5 star experience. Tanya the owner was so accommodating and put us at the perfect table with our young boys. The waiter was also fantastic. Every suggestion he made was spot on and delicious. Now we understand why they were voted restaurant of the year. This will be one we come back to every visit. Amazing food and service.
This restaurant checks all the boxes. Good quality of food and drinks, reasonable prices, entrainment and also great staff and hosts. I was passing by on a busy Sunday and I sat in a bar which gave the opportunity to meet the wonderful bar-woman, Katia. Even though she was very busy she absolutely went above and beyond, not only by making a killer cocktail but also by making sure everything went smooth with my evening. The restaurant was full as they had live entertainment. The music was great and fitted perfectly with the vibe of the restaurant. From the moment I saw the menu I knew I needed to try the lobster pasta, and it didn’t disappointed. I highly recommend it. I am think of going back to also try the steaks.
Long story short, Union Grill is innovative, has awesome decor and is just generally a place I would love to relax in and enjoy a good meal. The food quality and atmosphere are unmatched. Union Grill is family owned and Tanya and her husband are an absolute delight. The food is dynamic and so unique it's fun to eat. As a foody, I have eaten all over the world and at all sorts of name brand restaurants. I literally work out 5 times a week just so I can eat what i want. I'd passionately choose Union Grill over a list of top restaurants. Simply delicious. - bon apetite
What an incredible dining experience! I highly recommend this to anyone in the area. We had the liver pate appetizer, steak, scallop risotto and incredible kids meals for our young ones. The service was fantastic- Jamie was our server and did an amazing job. The manager was very attentive and you can tell that they genuinely care about their customers. This is a very clean, fresh and well kept restaurant in a wonderful area. We were happy to have such high quality food, service, as well as options for our kids in one place. Drinks were very good!
Union Grill for Christmas Eve dinner was amazing! The outdoor seating is beautiful and covered with a great view of the Christmas tree 🎄great service and delicious menu items.

Can’t say enough about this bar and grill. We had 30 minutes and they took it as a personal challenge to serve us AMAZING food. Steak burger was juice, flavorful and huge! The shrimp appetizer was delicious with great seasoning and hot bread. Had it go a meal and it was plenty. Great service and I mean great! Beautiful, on the water, low key decor and classy as anything. Local beer on tap (again, very good!)

I ordered the lobster spaghetti and wasn’t disappointed. The restaurant is positioned nearly the water and center walk at Camana Bay. Overhead covering to block sun is a plus. Prices are fair and the quality is good. There’s enough variety on the menu to meet any need.
We came here for my sister’s wedding dinner celebration. The Union provided exceptional, world class service. The food was top notch! The ceviche and steak are to die for. The dessert was nothing short of amazing. Thank you Paul and Tania for an unforgettable experience. Don’t miss out on eating here. You won’t regret it.

Excellent restaurant, highly recommended. We had a family dinner at Union Grill and everyone enjoyed it from beginning to end. Great creative cocktails - plus one of the largest Gin selections I’ve ever seen. Appetizers were delicious - the Lobster Bisque was one of the best I’ve ever had, possibly the best ever. Mushroom Pate was exceptional- never had anything like it before. Burrata salad was delicious, served with blistered orange slices instead of tomatoes, and had a lavender oil garnish. Very refreshing and unique. Main courses were all excellent - steaks were great and cooked perfectly. Very good Green Peppercorn sauce - nice addition to an already great steak. Mac and cheese was delicious as well. Finished with a couple of desserts which everyone loved and a couple of after dinner drinks. Great atmosphere. Great service. Can’t wait to go again.
Wondered in for lunch today and couldn’t have had a better experience. From the moment we walked in the door the ambiance was notable. We were greeted by the owners who were so kind. After we were seated, they brought over a book of coloring sheets for my daughters to pick from to keep them entertained. We ordered a Caesar salad, fish and chips and a few drinks. The food was phenomenal and the service impeccable. Our server was kind enough to give us a few tips on island experiences he recommend for our family. I can’t wait to return!
Union Grill has been a rare and very satisfying surprise. Great cocktails, exceptionally tasty, wonderfully presented food, delightful, comfortable seating, excellent and not intrusive service and the barmen make excellent cocktails. Our measure is the your make Margarita and so far the best on island we’ve had. We’re working through the menu now and have not been let down. They had a Sunday Roast which was for Cayman exceptional and on par with Fidel Murphy’s Restaurant who do great food too. Brunch stops at 3pm and they have far more on the dinner menu. We’re really taken with dining here and in the middle of Camana Bay it’s easy to park and easy to find. We’ve had good wines there to, but it’s barmen you need to tap up - really good mixologists
We had a wonderful experience at Union tonight. This is our third time here we make a reservation for dinner here every time we visit. The cocktails to start were fantastic and they accommodated my request for something not on their traditional menu. Dinner itself was incredible. Service was quick as well and the staff were so kind. They were also very very attentive about refilling my water it felt like almost any time I took a sip!! Fantastic! At the end of the meal the owner Paul came to ask how our meal was and was attentive to our feedback about the food and menu. Overall as always an amazing experience and we will be back next year or possibly even later this week!
One of the nicest restaurant decors we have been in. Kudos to the designer. And the food and staff great too. Pricy but that’s Grand Cayman for you. Bonus was the delightful lady singing a range of soul songs. Some draft or local beer options would be good. Cocktails very good. Seemed to only have bottled imported beer.

The food was outstanding, and each time we were handed a meal, the waitstaff confirmed it was allergen-free which gave us such a peace of mind. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and kind, and we happened to visit on a Thursday where we got to experience some incredible live music. An absolute must-visit on the island. We enjoyed incredible apps, great entrees and fantastic dessert. Lastly, my fiancé left his sunglasses behind, and they called us right away and put them aside so we could pick them up the next day (they had our contact from making the reservation). Talk about outstanding service.
We had the best meal we ate on this trip to Grand Cayman. We had the bone marrow appetizer. And then we ordered the Kansas City steaks. Everything was done to perfection. My wife got the little red dress cocktail and we had some old-fashioneds. Everything was superb and the waitress, Jamie was excellent and the entire staff was super attentive.
Union Grill means “good food, good time”and just had another wonderful night. The restaurant has that old school classy charm, and the menu features a variety of different flavors and textures that makes everyone feel satisfied. The service here seems to be hit or miss depending on how busy they are. Anyways my favorites are pecan rubbed pork tenderloin, seafood linguine and of course the steak, to name a few. And the star of last night was lobster n crab risotto - poached Caribbean lobster and blue crab in lobster bisque, simply divine. Thank you, team Union Grill, and see you soon, xo
Wonderful service and delightful food. Our table had wahoo civivche, Bostom Cod and braised beef, steak and burger. All were equally amazing in their own right the beef dishes has the perfect char and cooked perfectly. Kids menu had a great selection and variety. Would recommend !!!

My husband and I went here while on vacation. We were very excited about the live singer and overall vibe of the restaurant. Our meals and service was great. Our server offered drink suggestions and clarified our questions. There was a mishap with my husband’s order and we had to wait longer for his entree. Our server did correct the problem immediately and offered a dessert on the house. Overall, we had a great date night and would return again.
The service was great, not too much and for sure not ignored. The food quality and taste was very good. The patio can get a little loud so be aware, you may want to sit inside for more romantic setting. Over all a wonderful experiance.

We enjoyed expertly crafted cocktails and wine, followed by beautifully prepared ceviche and shrimp appetizers that were both fresh and well-balanced. For our entrées, three guests selected steaks, one chose the pork tenderloin, and I had the red snapper—each dish was executed flawlessly and cooked to absolute perfection. The service was attentive, warm, and highly professional, striking the perfect balance between polished and personable. Overall, it was truly a 10 out of 10 experience and a restaurant we will enthusiastically recommend and return to.
We tested their seafood. They have passed my expectations. My wife's seafood linguinie was stunning. She could not finish it. She started off with lobster bisque, which compared to the restaurant 2 nights before on 7 mile beach, was far more traditional and far better. I started off with foie gras and had red snapper as my main dish. Both very good. If you go and have red snapper be sure to pair it with Chassagne-Montrachet. We are from Austin, Texas and understand elegant dining. Our server, Jamie, and her team was superb... a 5 star plus plus!

We sat and then Tania, the owner came over to greet us and engage in meaningful conversation about us and enlightened us about different things in the menu. She is a wonderful host and we are just sad that we didn't get to meet her husband, the sommelier, who's wine list is extensive and we'll thought out. Our appetizer was the mushroom truffle pate. This is a can't miss, I was hesitant but went with Tania's word and I will never question her again. Then the Wagyu Tenderloin with a side of the most amazing Mac and cheese was delivered and I literally sat back in my chair and thoroughly enjoy each and every bite of both. Just amazing! My wife had the Seared Tuna and it was delicious! I can't wait to go back and try more things in Tania's list of goodies. Our waitress was also amazing and I am embarrassed that I don't remember her name but she is stunning and very knowledgeable and attentive. Thank you so much for the entire experience and that is just what it is, an experience, not simply a meal. Tania, you ROCK!

Not a bad experience. I ordered the Buratta and the truffle mushroom patê. Very interesting appetizers. The Buratta was obviously fresh. It's served with some candied nuts and sliced oranges which is refreshing but unsure if that's a good pairing for that. The truffle mushroom patê was good but it came with only a small wafer which was quickly consumed. Strangely they brought some sliced and toasted french baguette ok the side. This was good but it would be better to do something that's perhaps a pita or more of that wafer which was used as decoration in the pate. The truffle was good but feels like it could have used more overall. Ordered the Angus Short Rib, presentation was nice but the garlic was unnecessary and could have done with potato instead. For some reason this dish has a chocolate sauce on it that is supposed to taste like a chocolate reduction of some sort. Very weird and this knocks the place down to a 4. Also ordered the "Eton Mess" dessert to see if this would turn the meal around. It was a plate that had small servings of sorbet, strawberry jam, some strawberry flavored puffs. It was strange and the flavors were very clashing in nature with one another. The place was also playing live music during the dinner which was nice, it was a jazz theme with a live saxophonist. Plenty of seating but even on a Thursday night it was a bit loud as the room was cavernous and had no sound baffling at all. Waiting staff were very pleasant and attentative.
Nice restaurant with live music and nice decor. The drinks were really good. The food was mostly good except the lobster spaghetti. I should have asked before I ordered if the lobster was fresh. The waitress told me later that their lobsters come frozen, which I could tell since the tail was broken up in pieces. The texture of the lobster was off. It was disintegrated and the taste was bland. The snapper was fresh and cooked perfectly. The mushroom pate was also very good. Would not recommend the lobster dishes but all else that we ordered was good.
Not a bad experience. I ordered the Buratta and the truffle mushroom patê. Very interesting appetizers. The Buratta was obviously fresh. It's served with some candied nuts and sliced oranges which is refreshing but unsure if that's a good pairing for that. The truffle mushroom patê was good but it came with only a small wafer which was quickly consumed. Strangely they brought some sliced and toasted french baguette ok the side. This was good but it would be better to do something that's perhaps a pita or more of that wafer which was used as decoration in the pate. The truffle was good but feels like it could have used more overall. Ordered the Angus Short Rib, presentation was nice but the garlic was unnecessary and could have done with potato instead. For some reason this dish has a chocolate sauce on it that is supposed to taste like a chocolate reduction of some sort. Very weird and this knocks the place down to a 4. Also ordered the "Eton Mess" dessert to see if this would turn the meal around. It was a plate that had small servings of sorbet, strawberry jam, some strawberry flavored puffs. This was my first experience at Union Grill as they have recently opened. I dined on a Saturday night which may explain why the service was delayed. There was also a mixup with their restaurant month offer, which they advertised was available on a Saturday, but after I was sat at the table the server said it was not and the manager had to get involved. The ambiance is similar to a speakeasy and classy. The portion sizes for the shared plates are quite small given the price. The food itself was good, but nothing spectacular. Not really impressed given there are restaurants on the island within the same price range that are better.
