We’d come to celebrate our kid’s birthday and We were really pleased with our visit. Food was good as always. But out service was outstanding! Tiffany was our waitress and even there were a lot of tables she managed to give us an excellent service and ask what else we needed. Few times a server has that attention. We definetly will visit again.
My daughter and I decided to stop by for breakfast and were worried when we saw the parking lot, it was packed for a Sunday morning around 1045 a.m. Nonetheless, we went in and were pleasantly surprised. We got seated immediately, our waiter arrived moments later to greet us, answer any questions, and take our drink order. He was fabulous! We placed our orders and got them fresh out the kitchen within 7-10 minutes. absolutely fantastic! We weren't rushed to leave, meaning he didn't put our ticket down and say "whenever you're ready", rather he waited for us to ask him. After packing up our leftovers we walked their eclectic shop before paying. The entire experience was great and we will definitely be returning.
I had the absolute pleasure of being served by Michael during my recent visit to Cracker Barrel, and let me just say—he was incredible. From the moment we sat down, Michael was warm, welcoming, and on top of everything. He made sure we had everything we needed without us even having to ask. Not only was he fast and efficient, but his friendly attitude really stood out. You could tell he genuinely cared about making our experience great. He checked in at just the right moments, made great recommendations, and treated us like we were the most important table in the restaurant. Michael turned what could have been a regular meal into something memorable. If you ever find yourself at this Cracker Barrel, do yourself a favor and ask for Michael. He’s the kind of server who makes you want to come back again and again. Big thanks to Michael—you truly made our day!
From the minute we walked in! Greeted with a smile and friendly hello, tall guy wearing an cross. our waitress jessica(?) was really good. Food was good. We frequent, haven’t been in months. Won’t wait that long again. God willing.
We took my disabled/special needs sister for her birthday dinner at Cracker Barrel in Grapevine. The service perfect, the food was fresh, hot and very good, and the atmosphere was welcoming. My sister loves to shop after dinner in their country store. Thank you for making her birthday dinner wonderful.
The breakfast here is amazing. I got the blueberry pancakes with sausage. I had forgotten that they have the best sausage that I've ever eaten. They also have the best pancakes. Our server, Oscar was super sweet and attentive. This Cracker Barrel location is our favorite to go to. Keep up the good work!
The place was very busy and the waitress tried her best. She was great. Food was very good. This one didnt get that horrific makeover.
Our hostess was extremely nervous because she was training, but she was very friendly. I thought she did an excellent job. Our food was hot, fresh, and delicious. Store was well stocked with interesting items/snacks to purchase. The restaurant was busy but we were seated and served quickly.
Visited the restaurant on 6/18/25. I was ordering some to-go food for my parents & myself. I was not familiar with the menu. I mentioned to Logan that I was vegetarian. He was very patient, gave me time to review the menu, and answered a few questions about some items. After I ordered the food, I went into the store to browse while I waited. Logan actually took the time to come and find me to let me know that one of the items I’d ordered typically came with meat in it, and asked me if I would like to change my order (I can remember if it was the salad or green beans?). That was very nice of him! I really appreciated that extra step he took. All three dinners were delicious! Everyone was happy with their food!
This Cracker Barrel is a great place to enjoy homestyle cooking for breakfast, lunch and supper. My family and I enjoy the food here. It's the best place to enjoy homestyle food when your away from home or just need a break from the kitchen. It’s super friendly and has a very comfortable inviting atmosphere. This place never disappoints!! It has super friendly and very professional employees who are ready to serve you Thanks to Diego our waiter he’s very professional.
As epic as always, it doesn’t matter what state your in your always guaranteed a great breakfast at Cracker Barrel. Pancakes super fluffy and tasty, coffee hot and strong, eggs as I like them sunny side up….. warm syrup hmmm take me back again….. Four colleagues with me who had never been before, blew their minds and there waste lines 🤣🤣🤣🤠🤠🤠🤠 Well worth a visit if your passing through or just looking for a good meal
My daughter treated my grandchildren and me to Cracker Barrel. I am not a cracker barrel patron but I enjoyed myself. Ashley, our server was pleasant, attentive, and memorable. I had the Granma's Sampler . The 🥞 were fluffy and golden brown. My sausage and 🥓 were crisp and juicy. The ☕️ was decent. My daughter asked me to add, for you turkey lovers our there, that this location still has turkey sausage! We went over to the retail side to cruise & peruse! They carry some unique merchandise. They even had sachels of a potpourri type product. Pam, at the register, was very kind as well.
Comfortable, interesting atmosphere & good food. The gift shop has a lot of choices if you want snack & candy items as well as a nice selection of gift items. There are a few pieces of clothing scattered throughout the shop. The displays are combined with items placed together in themes which are visually pleasant & well organized.
Service staff are helpful and responsive to table needs before, during and after meal. They have a retail area that offers a multitude of nostalgic candy, toys, gifts and games. The rocking chairs on porch are for sale and free games are playable while you wait to be seated (which is almost immediate at most times). Free games are also available as well, at the table. The food is made to the customers liking everytime or it is corrected with no problem. I highly recommend this family friendly, fast food restaurant for groups, small or large families and single seating as well. This place just feels great to eat at!
Our server was one of the best ever. She was patient with us, refilled our drinks frequently, and had such a joyous attitude and smile. It brightened our day and was so refreshing compared to most restaurants nowadays. I highly recommend frequenting this establishment. You will not be disappointed. The food was fresh and tasted great.
Carrie (I think that's her name) was a wonderful server to us today. She was very attentive, genuine, and accommodating to our table. It's rare to have such spectacular customer service these days, but she's an absolute pro. Definitely will be back in the future!
I forgot our servers name, she was a blonde for star server. I hate that I can't remember because she was great! The best server I've had in a long time. Everything else was good, we were able to get a table for seven very quick on a Saturday morning. The wife, myself and our kids really enjoyed it.
This Cracker Barrel was 5 Star across the board. I walked in to place a carryout order. The server given the job was professional, polite, and knowledgeable. I hadn't been to a CB in almost 2 years. Their prices have increased but the amount of food you receive in an order, has too. We had more than enough to finish the next day. We had a 3 piece catfish dinner with 2 sides and a shrimp dinner with 3 sides. It also included fries. Both dinners came with choice of biscuits or cornbread muffins. As I said before, "a lot of food" for the price. Did I mention, everything tasted very good. As always the gift shop draws you in, begging you to buy something. Of course I did make a purchase. I still can't tell you what rebranding or restructuring took place with CB. All I know is the food is still awesome and the service is definitely more personal than I remember. This CB located in Grapevine, Texas maybe an exception to the rule, I hope not.

We love coming here bc the staff does really make you feel relaxed & at home. Michael was our server & he did a great job for us! The homely atmosphere is very calm & quiet. And my wife & I noticed…
Great Service! Always enjoy CB. However two things. My wife and I arrived 15 min ahead of our party of 6 total but policy kept us from being seated till everyone arrived. Jeeez. Really wanted a cup of coffee “Nope…you have to wait.” Second.. would the cooks PLEASE learn how to make grits. Grits are not a soup!!!
Hadn't been in quite awhile, but love the classic home cooking menu (revamped since my last visit). They now allow online wait list also, a plus for me. Service was a tad slow on a busy Sunday morning but food was good quality and no issues.
The food is always excellent. Service at a table is typically very good. Just don't use the curbside pick up! I've tried it several times, checked in and still had to go inside and get my food because no one ever came out with it.
Went right before closing and still had a great meal. Portions were large and food was hot.
Well first time here. Been a minute since I've been to one. It was just as I remembered the last one but a bit better. Food was good and hot, drinks were cold... but the food was kind of bland. Nothing to terrible but some stuff lacking flavor. Super loud on a Sunday with all the kids but that's to be expected. Server was good and attentive to our needs.
Was at the mall and decided on the way in to eat here once done. I was starving and everything tasted great! Went with my favorite breakfast. Believe it was Grandma’s platter or sampler? Very good, pancakes were some of the best I have had in a while! (For plain pancakes). A light crisp on top and little gooey inside! PERFECT to the cook! Eggs and protein were hot, the hash brown thingy was warm could have been hotter. I was overall pleased and would go back if in the area. The other dish was the Southern Fries Chicken. The crust was amazing on that! Heard it was really good. 👍🏽👍🏽 Waitress Brianna was awesome. Short staff like most places but she was hustling and gave her a great tip for efforts. Check out the store afterwards, always some good candies and things in there. 🤪
Food was average, in this location, I think I came with great expectations from the last time I visited this franchise in another location where the beef was melting on my mouth, not the case this time unfortunately. The service was nice, but in general I had an average experience, I may come back to see if maybe I have a better experience.
The food itself was amazing. The French toast and chicken are a good combination with the cherry lemonade being sweet and tart I love that. The service was also good. Just needed to have a lil smile and everything would be perfect for the service. The atmosphere also was something calming and relax. It was too cold on a cold day however
The food was good. I had the Southern Fried Chicken. They give you honey to go with it. The chicken was nice and hot. I ordered a lemonade and it was very bitter and sour but after all it was real lemon. The Steak Fries and Macaroni and cheese were delicious. Our server was kind and the atmosphere was ok.
Good ol country breakfast! Filling up before going to Grapevine Mills next door, we stopped for a hearty breakfast! Country fried steak was tasty and filling! Usually breakfast spots like this have a wait on weekends, but having the general store up front was nice to browse during the short wait for a table. Lots of fun toys, cute decorations, and lots of Christmas and Halloween decorations :)
I invited my son, Chris Brownstead, the NXT Mortgage Lender for lunch. As i waited for him, i enjoyed browsing the store. The hostess were a bit distracted and took a while to get seated. Thomas was my server and he was attentive. Corn muffins were uncooked but Thomas brought me a new order and definitely better. I tried the new chicken strips and they were pretty good. Okra could use a bit more time in the fryer. There is no military discount. Prices are not too cheap nor too pricy, they are balanced.
We have eaten at other locations and was happen to be in the area and couldn’t resist to stop in. The wait staffs are friendly and nice. The place is packed as usual for a Sunday, but they were able to get us seated within 20 mins- have patience. We ordered the shrimps plate, Fresh Breakfast plate and Sunday fried chicken. All were consistent and delicious. The dishes come out fairly fast within 5-10 mins. Probably due to being packed, they forgot our fries and biscuits - which came out about 15 minutes later. Overall still an A quality restaurant.
🍽️ March 10, 2025 🍽️ ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently visited Cracker Barrel, and overall, the service was great! 😊 The staff was super friendly and attentive 👩💼, making sure everything else was spot on 👍. However, they did forget to bring silverware with our meal 🍴, which was a small hiccup. Luckily, it was quickly resolved once we asked 🙌. Other than that, everything was pretty flawless! ✨ The food was delicious, as always 🍳🥓, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming 🏡. I’ll definitely be back, and I’m confident next time will be perfect! 🌟
I come for my weekly vegetable plate. It's nice to get good home cooked vegetables without all the hassle. My complaint is that every time I'm at this location, it takes at least 5-10 min for an acknowledgment from a server. Maybe let your servers know that an acknowledgment goes a long way as opposed to ignoring customers . The vegetables have become inconsistent in taste and temperature. Sometimes they are very bland and other times the vegetables are good. The restaurant isn't as clean as it once was. So today, my revised review went down a star. I hope that this location can be great again.
Really good, reasonably-priced breakfast. A little too busy for my comfort level but worth putting up with for their awesome Blueberry pancakes! Also enjoy their biscuits & gravy.

If you order for pick-up, CHECK YOUR FOOD. Twice I have ordered from here and get home to find something is missing both times. Lesson learned and I'm sure I'll do it again. What is irritating is tipping someone who does a "Quality Check" and even checks off the items that are supposed to be there and they are not.
Lack of staff or poor management. I dined alone and it took 40 min for me to get my food. The food was good as usual. Then another 15 minutes waiting to pay at the register. Too many people in line for one cashier to handle. I won't ever consider this location again.
5 stars for the front staff, everything else not so much. Advertisement in the front should the one thing my kid wanted, waited an hour to be seated; server comes out to tell my kid we've sold out of that for awhile and asks where did you see that on the menu? Told her it was a posting next to the front door. Sever said there's nothing next to the door. Guess the picture wasn't good enough.
The gentleman at the register when we left, trying to talk me into those two fer big candy bars! 😁 it was their anniversary weekend so it was buy one of their egg breakfast and get one free. I do not like my bacon crispy as in burned, I just like it cooked. My friend and I both could not eat our bacon because it was just so almost raw. Our husbands had no problem eating it. The eggs were cold when they arrived, just nothing was good about the food. I've been there many times and it's not usually the case. I was disappointed that I brought friends there for breakfast and it wasn't good.
Cracker Barrel is known for the great atmosphere and the great store to shop while waiting for a table or after you eat. We have been to many cracker barrels, but this one was not up to par today. We did not have to wait on a Saturday during dinner. The service was fine, but the server did talk a lot, and we both finished our drinks and had to wait a while before the server returned to top them off. Our food came out very quickly, which was a surprise to me. Then, as we started to eat, I realized why it came out so quickly. The mashed potatoes and green beans were cold. My wife's fried chicken was still bloody in the middle. The apples were nice and hot, and my chicken fried chicken was good. As people left, no one was there to clean tables. When we got up to leave, the entire section needed to be bussed. I highly recommend cracker barrels, but maybe just not this particular location.
Not as good as it used to be. The store employees were wonderful and the servers were great was not a fan of the hostess I was counting my party and she heard what she wanted and seated us for that number. The managers were wonderful. And the food was good.
Seated right by away, 15 min to get drinks, another 10 to request breads. 30 min biscuit brought with meal, no cornbread. Ordered chicken fried steak, meat was not the same quality as expected from other cracker barrel visits. Plate looked half empty of food, small serving. Ordered Louisiana shrimp, no rice we were asked what to replace with, got corn in bowl. We were told the shrimp meal came with cornbread, but only toast was sitting on the side of the plate. Asked for sweet potatoes but it's only served on Thurs she said, asked for loaded baked potato. Brought out mashed potatoes. Mashed potatoes are fully mixed with hashbrown shredded potato parts. She said they were out of baked potatoes. Charged extra for the loaded baked potato even though there was no baked potato it was mashed potato, did not substitute the missing rice. Then at the register the cashier answered they knew they were running out of food because they were also out of other items and he started listing off other items including the cinnamon apples, that their truck comes on Tuesdays and this was Saturday. They did not inform us prior to seating that they were out of many main food items. Server did not offer any communication except coming back and forth to say they were out of certain ordered items. Had to request drink refill. No to go drink cups nor to go left over box offered. We put the scrap meat in our fork wrapper to bring home for our dogs treat. Hopefully the management can adjust their delivery order for future customer needs. Since they were out of several items and still had 3 more days of service before the next delivery date.
I know the review seems uneven. The servers were great! And I always love the small town USA athmosphere of Cracker Barrel. I will mention that I normally patronize the Lewisville location. But, really, for a restaurant, the food is the most important aspect. We came in on a Sunday for lunch after shopping nearby. It was busy, and there was a wait for thirty minutes, but it really only took about twenty to be seated. The wait is understandable. To start, my friend and I got the White Cheddar Cheese Bites. They were fine, but nothing special. It didn't stand out in any way, and I will probably order something else if I ever go back. My biggest issue with them is how few you get. I also ordered a couple of Bloody Mary's. They were bad. It feels like they literally just pour some vodka into Zing Zang without any other spices to give the drink depth. It was also very watery, a very disappointing texture for a Bloody Mary. For my entree, I ordered the "new" New York Strip Steak N' Chicken Combo, with the fries and dumplins as my side. The chicken was okay, a bit dry, and the fries were mediocre. They were kind of soggy and the thick starchy ones. The dumplins, as always, were amazing. Now, though, that New York Strip was the worst steak I ever had at any restaurant. And that is including other budget restaurants at the same price point. The meat was tough and chewy (I had ordered Medium Rare), the seasoning was extremely bland, and had uneven chunks of fat all over. I wasn't expect much at that price point, but I wouldn't have eaten that steak for free. Also, the server never did get me the buttermilk biscuit that was included with my meal. Anyway, my friend and I finished the food, paid, and left. Still left a good tip of about 30%. This trip has soured Cracker Barrel for me, so I probably won't be back soon.

My family and I frequent Cracker Barrel. This was the worse experience I have ever had at a Cracker Barrel or any other restaurant. The waiter was great but that’s where the good things end. My daughter and O ordered our food and was told that the steak bites were still frozen so we said we did not want them. The waiter came back and said they had 1 more “batch” of them available so we ordered them. So, the food came out and 1. The biscuits were burnt, hard, and old. Just from looking at them you could see they were not fit to be brought out to customers. I took a bite and it was exactly what I thought. 2. The Cajun shrimp dish my daughter had just tasted fishy (her opinion) and she only took 1 bite. We were prepared to just send it back but then my plate was terrible too. The chicken fried steak was old, the hash brown casserole looked burnt on the top and like it had been reheated several times. The fried okra looked like it may have been fried. At lunch time and it was about 3:30. It was soggy and not fresh. We literally took 1 bite out of everything. We asked for out waiter because he disappeared to somewhere. We told him our concerns and he sent us the manager. I informed him we would pay for the steak bites and our drinks because that was the only thing we ate. He fixed the ticket. We did also leave a tip for the waiter because he did not cook the terrible food. I could not believe how bad it was. Also… the kitchen should know that customers can here what’s going on back there…..
Incredibly slow...host stand, food and checkout. Hostess was at a loss on how to do her job as the computer screen was not syncing. How sad that she forgot how to think and troubleshoot.
We normally have good service here, but this visit was not good. We were seated and waited 15-20 minutes before anyone even came to welcome us and take drink orders. On top of that, I had to ask someone to see who our waiter was. Waited another 5 minutes for someone to come see us. We finally ordered and the waitress didn’t tell us about a $6 upcharge on one of the meals until I went to check out. Once we got our food, no one checked on us for refills or anything until we were completely finished and they brought our check. It just wasn’t a good visit at all
Visited this Cracker Barrel. There were lots of cars; however, the restaurant seemed empty. I went to stand in line and there was one couple waiting, but there was not hostess. We watched as waiters and waitresses and staff walked around and looked at us. It took over 10 minutes for me to be seated. I counted the customers and there were 5 tables with 2 each for a total of 10 customers. I did speak with a manager about all the staff and the wait times, the manager just laughed at me. I finally was able to order and got the Wednesday special, which took about 15 minutes to arrive. It was okay looking and tasted okay. Due to the manager’s laugh and not taking me serious, I rate today’s visit 2 stars. Look elsewhere if you are wanting good service.
Was so disappointed in this location. We were treated like we were some kind of burden... it was weird. We waited about 8 minutes before anyone came to see if we needed to be seated. The waitress that seated us tossed our menus on the table and then smiled and walked away. We sat down and then our waiter Max came up to get our order and we asked nicely for water until we could look over the menus and then also asked for the dinner menu since we were given breakfast menus. He seemed annoyed by our asking and walked away. When he came back he brought us just 1 menu. Then went to get our waters. We ordered tea for each of us and he never offered to refill our water or tea, just offered our bill to go pay when we said we weren't getting dessert. He gave us biscuits, cornbread and butter, but never offered jelly or brought any to us, My baked potato was cold even the butter never melted and my green beans and chicken were tepid and the chicken was dry. Don't go to this location unless you just plan to shop. The food and service were awful.
I’m giving this an overall two stars because our server is the only thing that made this experience enjoyable. We went to celebrate my birthday at the beginning of August and we had a party of nine in at about 6 PM. No issue getting sat or drinks, but then we waited… And waited… And waited for our food. We waited about 30 minutes, when our server finally came out and told me that they didn’t have the item that I had ordered. So I selected something else and within 15 minutes our whole party had their food. The only thing that was actually good on our entire table were the pancakes in French toast. Everything else was subpar. The kitchen really screwed our server with the service. A few members of our party had ordered a side of country ham, it quite literally smelled like feet. With a sniff of the ham, you could not even taste it. Two of us did try it, and immediately spit it out. Silly me for thinking that we could go to Cracker Barrel for breakfast food at 6 PM. Again, our server was great, but there was not a single second of our time there that was enjoyable. My father went to go talk to the manager about everything and was blown off. It wasn’t until my father physically walked into the kitchen to get something taken off our bill because it was not eaten that someone decided to take two meals off our ticket. Cracker Barrel is typically a staple for breakfast food and for the fact that it serves breakfast all day… But the kitchen staff seemed to have had other ideas with how they prepare breakfast food in in the evening. All of this to say… If you’re wanting breakfast food at night, just make it at home yourself and avoid him that smells like feet.
I gotta lie. I was really impressed with the waft of urine as we entered through the country store. Once seated we were presented with menu's that had the previous diners food dried on the cover. My money is no good at this Cracker Barrel. If you can't take care of something as obvious as that stench of urine inside the country store, there's no telling what's going on in the back of the house. I'm just glad I didn't get the opportunity to use the restroom. It probably has a gentler odor than the country store. Get rid of that smell, stinky.
We recently visited Cracker Barrel for breakfast on Mother's Day. This might have been our first mistake. We were seated immediately, but it took almost 20 minutes for a server to come and take our order and get our drinks. Once the orders were taken, it took another 20 minutes for our food to arrive. I was very disappointed with the service, as eggs are not a complicated request. I informed the manager of my disappointment, left, and opted for breakfast tacos at a different restaurant. At least the country store was nice!
We have eaten at this location many times and enjoyed it. Today was much different. The hostess ignored us, was very slow to seat us and was very unfriendly. The food was not as good as prior visits. The lady at the front register had a conversation with another employee while checking me out. Very disappointing to see this restaurant decline.
We could not find a server to save our lives - 15 minutes before we got our iced tea and drinks - then ordering could begin, which took another 15 minutes to arrive. Showed up with 6 family members - the visit was a crash and burn. This is not the same restaurant it was, recipes have changed. Less salt, less oil, less flavor ... they used to compete with Babe's Fried Chicken. Now there's competing with Denny's. And they're losing.
It started with being told it'd be a 20 minute wait that turned into actually being 46 minutes. It was scorching hot in the store area where we waited. Apparently several other people we waited with also waited over twice as long as they were told to expect. Got to the table and ordered our drinks and food pretty quick. They brought out plastic forks and knives, that's a first from any other CB I've ever been to. The tiniest plastic cup that was mostly ice was asked to be refilled twice, but never got refilled. The food took another 45ish minutes to come out and actually tasted ok, but not as good as other CBs. The food is the only thing that saved this review from just being one star.
Dirtiest cracker barrel I've ever been to. I don't know if they are new or what but not one staff member knows how to wipe a table down even our host picked up pieces of food off of our table before we sat down when we sat down there was still crumbs all over the table as we watched other people leave they barely wiped any of the tables did not wipe any chairs. Service was terrible had to ask another server about the bread after our food was already at the table. Our server only checked on us once we wanted dessert as we were celebrating and when she finally came to our table it was to hand us the check. We had to ask another server to get us a Togo box it was a crazy experience I'm happy to not live in this area because I would definitely not be back.
This restaurant chain has slowly lost its appeal for me. I've visited several times, locations, different cities... I'm realizing that it just isn't as great as I used to think. I also question the deeper meaning behind the name itself. I had brunch with my kiddos. The wait was 45 minutes. The hostess was rude when we walked up to the stand after being summoned. The waitress was decent but inattentive. The floors were slippery and I'm thinking it's because they're mopping with greasy mops and no bleach... the food was overpriced and under-flavored. I probably won't be back to any of the restaurants.
Waitress and staff were nice and accommodating enough, but people , including staff do not know what personal space is , like y'all keep brushing up on me someone is Gona learn today! I got the classic country sampler with meatloaf and home style chicken , okra and sweet carrots . The meatloaf was several days old and reheated because it was meat mush and tasted stale , the chicken was old , the carrots came out ice cold. The okra to my surprise was fresh hot and crunchy. The cornbread was actually muffins and didn't melt the butter was also very gritty. The parking lot was flooded from the time I came sprinklers going to the time I left over an hour . With tip spent 30 , food was 20. But this is far from my normal cracker barrel experience, sat me next to an obnoxious table of 12 with kids who kept hitting the back of my seat because of gentle parenting ! The place was pretty empty by the way. Will not be coming back to this location , also upon making this review way after the fact I now have a very nasty after taste from the very old grease the fried the chicken and okra in and it's giving a terrible taste that will not quit . Do better cracker barrel you should make more effort than this !!!!
Tuesday September 23 I just had to leave due to poor service. Actually due to NO service. Was seated with menu for about 5 to 10 minutes without a server stopping by. Several servers were milli…
Horrible service and very slow. Their checkout is the worst. It took 30 minutes to pay for food because we had to wait in line with all of the retail sales.
I was very disappointed in the food here!! I had the fried chicken with grits and fries. The grits were so watered down and the fried chicken was extremely salty. I asked our server about the…

The people are nice that work there. But the food is terrible. I couldn't eat the food .the person that waited on me agree said she only eats the breakfast.😵 . Couldn't they told me that before I sat down . like eat at your own risk. If your hungry go anywhere else but Cracker Barrel . when leave there you will still be hungry.😠 😷
Food here is very bad. I ate here twice in 4 years and in both times I had a very bad experience. First time I vomited a half hour after we left the restaurant. The second time I’m having a bad stomachache. I ordered the 12 oz sirloin steak medium well I got a 6 oz burned one. The sides looked like dog food. Bottom line I will not eat there again.
This is first and only location where charge for refiling orange juice at Cracker Barrel. Furthermore, this is Only location bring you a kid orange juice filled with half cup of kid’s cup, and they charge you for 2.49$ . Exactly filled up with Half cup of that smallest cup that brought to us. When I told to their manager about that is not fair that how they serve that little amount of orange juice and they are over charge it. That manager only said to us “Sorry”, and rush to turned her body about to leave . Her reaction was not showing any respect towards to her customers. I don’t think I will return to this location any more to a place where not even care their customers at all! ( The picture is the evidence that how much orange they served us for one kid’s order and they charge for 2.49$ - exactly half cup!!)) Feel shame of their customers’ service!
Horrible experience at this location. 90 minutes of the worst cracker barrel experience I've ever encountered. It started out pleasant enough. Our server, Sandy, was nice, the roaring fire was warm, but that's about where the positives stopped. We sat down with the dining room maybe 10% filled. We ordered right away and waited....and waited.... And waited. Sandy assured us several times that it was on the way. A table next to us sat down, ordered similar items, got their food and left before we had seen an item. Fortunately, we had some biscuits to tide us over, but after 20 minutes, it gets old. The manager came out and apologized and said that our food order never made it to the kitchen. We were confused what our server was doing then when she said it "was coming" several times. Finally got our orders. Unfortunately, my medium rare steak was medium well and full of gristle. The frier wasn't working, so no fries. In the end, we expected some kind of comp to make up for the unpleasant experience....and nothing. Relayed the experience again to the cashier when they asked and the response was "tough luck". Very disappointed in this location. Stay away!
Lunch was super bland. My waitress was non-existent, we sat for over 10minuets (obviously done, dishes stacked drinks empty) no one with food left) before we could get our check. never was asked if things we ok or if we needed anything else, she didn't even say her name. I went back and forth between 2 options and when I went against her "favorite" she was visibly not happy about it.
The store is always cute, It took about 8 minutes before I got up from my table to go find someone to get me a water.. the excuse was "they sat you against the wall where I couldn't see." After the food was delivered, it took 5 minutes to come back with silverware and ketchup after my food was delivered I was so close to walking out. The place was empty. There was no reason for the service to be complete garbage. Do better.
I have never gotten food at Cracker Barrel that I did not love, but this location has proven that things can change. I used Uber eats which was not the issue. I was not given the cornbread I ordered and the food was bland. The beignets were very good. I ordered sweet tea and the bottom of my cup had a very visible amount of sugar in the bottom. It appeared they tired to make it before sending out but did not stir it. I don’t usually say anything, but very disappointed. Please do better cause I love Cracker Barrel!!
The customer service was lower than poor. They didn't acknowledge the guests they said nothing. You had people that just walked in and feel like they were entitled to get customer service and they just ignored everybody! However, I will be ordering through the Doordash app because the food is delicious!
Waited 1 hour to get food….. really???? No one eve came to say it was going to be that late… the restaurant was not so busy. steak was burned and hard, you could nail that stake on the bottom of your shoe how hard and burned it was…. Roast beef was not soft either, rather chewy… catfish cooked in old oil and dry.
Ella said it fell off in the fryer and would not return it. So, when did fish start falling apart in bite sized pieces? The other portion was underneath the fish on the plate. Wow, definitely a Cracker Barrel experience. Will not even comment on the rest of our order, just wow. Normally, I make a point to find something good to leave a review about but wow.
This place is Awful! Service absolutely sucks! Never enough wait staff. Food is never correct! Managers do a half ass job he re! This place has gone to the dump!! You have to wait to be seated with no one waiting! Then it's 15 minutes before someone will acknowledge you!! Shame on them. Burnt meatloaf
It took me 10 minute to get waited on. Then a I, finally got some one to wait on me that just got in to work. The tea tasted like it came from the bottom of the brewer. I, asked for cornbread and they brought me biscuits instead. Then I, asked for catsup and never got it. The chicken fried steak tasted like it came from a card board box and was probably was frozen . The veggies were really good. No tip given. The bathrooms smelled like old dried urine and stale water. Urinal was leaking and didn’t flush. Three months ago I, came here and everything was top notch.
Gluten Free + flexibility = NEVER Cracker Barrel I loath to give bad reviews. However... Today was difficult, and the quality was poor. I typically don't struggle to order gluten-free at almost any restaurant. But today was BAD! Cracker Barrel will not substitute bread products for anything. They say bread is free. They wouldn't even substitute a child-size pancake for my grandkids! Isn't a pancake a type of bread? The quality of the food was poor as well. I received cold egg whites, thin-almost-raw-bacon, and grits that were so watery that they tasted like water, and nothing subbed for the bread. When I talked to the manager, his message was that there wasn't anything he could do. When I said that we won't be back, he just shrugged his shoulders. It appears that Cracker Barrel Corporate doesn't care about attracting gluten-free customers. Do disappointing.
The food was very bland and was not as described. The server did not come to check on us once. So the free refills was never offered. The atmosphere is good and the restaurant was tidy
Cracker Barrel is one of my favorites! This location is great, clean, has a great menu, and the country store is pretty amazing! The only draw back to this visit was the food - maybe an "off" day. The waitstaff brought out a basket with 2 cornbread muffins and 1 biscuit for all of us- said that's all we got (at 630pm on a Saturday - picture included). This is absolutely poor service and definitely reflected their attitude toward their customers. There were other things about this visit that deserve a 1 star- but I am hoping this was an "off" day. Cannot recommend this location. The picture says it all - an experience that was completely lacking.
We stopped by today and I wanted to try a new meal which was the chicken tender with spicy honey on them. They told me they ran out of the sauce and only had regular chicken tenders so I said fine I'll take it. It was so cold and dry, it just felt old. I honestly ate only one tender and I was done with the food. Raising canes would of been much better place to go. The food here is not appealing at all bearly any fries and I was wanted to leave
I just visited Cracker Barrel of grapevine and my experience was not pleasant what so ever. For starters we stood up at the host stand for over 10 minutes waiting to be seated. A woman (cashier) was nice enough to call not once but three times for someone to come and seat us. When she noticed that, that wasn’t going anywhere she then went to find a server or manager to come and seat us. We finally get seated and as upset as we were we decided to move on from it and enjoy our dinner. It wasn’t until our food came out and we immediately knew something was not right ! Me and my husband both ordered the fried fish and our fish did not look appealing whats so ever , the fish look like it had no batter and no tartar sauce was plated with the fish, my husbands loaded mash potatoes only had bacon missing the sour cream and cheese. We finally asked to speak to the manager (Gaby) that went on saying that the fish indeed was battered and prep correctly that in fact it was the oil that was old and that was the reason why the fish looked the way it did. Me and my husband LOVE us some Cracker Barrel but this visit was by far the worst experience.
this is the first location where i have sat and waited on a server for more than 25 mins in a empty non business environment. the host seated me. i haven't seen a waiter approach me or interacted with one. other locations are much more people focused. this isn't a location i'd visit again. the kitchen staff is just standing around having conversations amongst themselves this it's nuts
So utterly disappointed 😔… Our waitress Bailey was great.. Food was absolute trash! I ordered the chicken breast fried and they were not cooked through so I got chicken and dumplings instead… and the dumplings were like glue all stuck together and flavorless and the chicken was 3 little pieces. So disappointed with the menu changes and the lack of care with the food in recent trips. My husbands Country fried steak was dry and cold and his fries were not thoroughly cooked either… was wondering why it was so slow on a Saturday night…
I am a regular customer at this restaurant, but the service on Saturday, November 18th, was absolutely horrible. I placed an online order at 740am, and the system indicated that my order would be ready at 801am. Because it was a Saturday and it's usually busy, I estimated that my order would take a bit longer to prepare. So, I arrived at 8:26am, checked in, and provided my parking spot. After 10 minutes, I hadn't received my order, so I called the phone number listed on the sign. I called three times, and NO ONE ANSWERED. I decided to walk into the restaurant to retrieve my order. Once inside, I asked about my order and wanted to speak to a manager. The hostess went into the kitchen and informed the manager. Ten minutes later, the manager walked over to me with my order. I was not happy with the customer care that I received. I asked the manager for her name, and she said Gabby. I explained to her that i placed an online order, parked in a curbside delivery space, checked in online, called the phone number on the sign, and waited. I asked her what the purpose of using an online system was to place an order if the restaurant was not going to honor the process. She said, "we are short staffed today. I can either give you your food or a refund. Which one do you want?" I then reminded her that I asked to speak to a manager 10 minutes ago, and no one came forward. She then replied, " I was in the back. I was not sitting in the back twiddling my thumbs waiting to talk to you." This was a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE due to Gabby. Typically, this restaurant is very gracious and communicative even when the service is slow. As customers, we realize that issues can happen. But, I would hope that store leaders demonstrate care and concern for customers. Unfortunately, Gabby is a manager who has no empathy in her delivery or compassion for their lack of good service. I finally received my order at 8:40...and it was cold and WRONG! The delicious syrup is the star of Cracker Barrel breakfast, and I didn't even receive that! Such a disappointing experience...
I ordered 3 Thanksgiving dinner's to go. This was for me, my Aunt and her roommate which is unable to really travel to to one of your locations. I did this as a special Thanksgiving lunch on Thanksgiving day. It was horrible with the food I received for them and me. It was disgusting from the dry turkey, smushy dressing 🤢, green beans were horrible along with petrified rolls. I was really hoping for more better results than this for a FIRST TIMEER TO ORDER LIKE THIS FROM Y'ALL???? NEVER WILL I DO THIS AGAIN FROM Y'ALL.

Grapevine's Cracker Barrel: A Familiar Taste with a Few Surprises
You know Cracker Barrel, right? That familiar spot where you can grab a rocking chair on the porch and browse some unique trinkets before settling down for a meal that feels like home. I recently popped into the Grapevine location on a Saturday afternoon, around 4 PM, looking for that comforting American fare we all sometimes crave. My buddy and I found ourselves in a bit of a queue for a table, and then a similar wait once we were seated before our waiter swung by. Now, I always appreciate wh...
