My daughter & I have been coming here for years. Exceptional food! The employees are so warm & treat customers like family. Very clean environment & high quality ingredients. This restaurant is a hidden gem in Great Neck. I particularly love the salads, paninis, and pasta. Highly recommend!!

I have been a loyal customer of Mangia Bene since they opened! Jack and his team are amazing, the service is beyond 5 stars! They have always treated us like family from the very beginning. You are always greeted with a smile from everyone and the atmosphere in the restaurant is far beyond exceptional. The food will never disappoint and you can always count on every dish tasting just as amazing as the last one you had. You will have a difficult time choosing what to order from the menu, trust me! We have dined in, had family dinners, family lunches, private dinner and lunch events and ordered take out. Always the food is the delicious, service exceptional and smiles all around. If you are looking for a new place to bring your family to dinner or lunch, I highly recommend Jack's Mangia Bene!

Been here a number of times and have always loved both the food and service. We’ve always felt very welcome here. Recently celebrated a family birthday at the restaurant and it was great. Been coming here for years for take out and I have always loved the friendly staff and more so the options for food. Even after moving I will make the drive an extra 15 minutes. You do not come across genuine people often but the staff at Mangia Bene bring a smile to their customers. This combined with the food keeps me coming back.

I recently had the absolute pleasure of dining at Mangia Bene. The menu features a diverse selection of appetizers, main courses, and desserts that cater to various tastes and preferences.The service here was also very impressive. The staff working there were attentive, kind, and genuinely passionate about the food that they were serving. I especially liked that they were more than willing to offer recommendations and answer any questions my family and I had. The pricing was also very reasonable for the quality of the food. I felt that the value we received was exceptional, and I'd be happy to return for special occasions, or even just for a casual meal. Overall, my visit to this restaurant was an exceptional experience that I can't recommend highly enough. It's clear that this establishment is a labor of love, and it shows in every aspect from the menu to the attentive staff. Got the 2 cheese slice, and a 12 oz drink special came out to $7.56 with tax. Good cheese, decent sauce, the crust was a little bland but overall a decent slice.

Been visiting this local neighborhood slice shop for years. Owner is always on site during weekday lunch hours. I always order the Fusili Calbrese pasta to share with my wife. The pizza is always good. Pasta is mostly good, but can be somewhat inconsistent depending on who is cooking that day. Today was very good. If you are in a rush, just be aware that during the school year, between the hours of 1130am-1230pm, there will be a line and crowd of high school students packing the resturant to get lunch. Kids can be a little rude and space inside the resturant will be crowded. But outside of that lunch time rush, it's much more pleasant. They so have seating outside on the side of the restaurant. Free street parking is abundant and there is also a lot across the street for additional parking. You can also take your pizza to the nearby park where there are tables ans eat outside. Worth the visit.

The food wasn’t good, and the atmosphere wasn’t comfortable neither good. The restaurant isn’t clean and everything was sticky. The cooks were nice, but the cashier/owner wasn’t friendly. They overcharged us for a custom panini $25 for a panini? when we get a way better panini at the original la bottegas minus 6 dollars and the quality was really bad. We came here for the original la bottega reputation. We found out that they weren’t the same. The La Bottegas chain has much better food in my opinion. The food didn’t sit well— my stomach didn’t feel good afterwards. I won’t be coming back.

Drunk, rowdy crowd with zero class. If you enjoy chaos, cheap vibes, and inappropriate drunk strangers yelling, this is your spot. Not a place for families. The workers are really nice though - not the owner.

A slice and mozzarella sticks were wayy overpriced. Also I felt horrible after eating, idk what they put into a simple slice and mozarella sticks. Will be the last time I’ll ever be going there.
