As a landry member I was excited to eat here. I took my family here for my birthday and for my parents anniversary and it's just my favorite steakhouse. Price is not horrible for the quality or food.

Had the pleasure to celebrate New Year’s Eve 2020 in Morton’s. Service was top notch. Drink we’re very on point (Highly recommend the Margarita, Mojito did not live up to my expectations). Had the ribeye and lamb chop, both were fresh and well done. Lava cake for the final touch. Will definitely be returning soon.

The best steak I have had on Long Island thus far. My hubby and I shared the bone in Ribeye and OMGEEEEE 🤤. Very expensive but everything we ate was very yummy and the restaurant itself is very beautiful. FYI, I made a reservation online which was very easy to do.

Amazing Steakhouse just as anyone would expect from a top of the line Steakhouse from service, to food, and to ambience. I would highly recommend it.

Great atmosphere, delicious drinks. Manhattan and Mango Mule were strong and tasty, respectively. The center cut filet mignon was melt in your mouth good. Paired with the black truffle better put it on another level. The salmon was so soft and flaky, perfectly cooked. Creme Brulee and the chocolate mousse was divine. Manny our server was very attentive and made sure we were taken care of. The bread and salad also was delish. Morton's doesn't disappoint me. Whether in the city or Great Neck.

I asked my coworkers for the best steakhouse they know so I could take my wife of 8 years out for our anniversary. About 3 of them recommended Morton's. As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted warmly (we arrived early so we sat at the bar to wait) my wife had a merlot that came highly recommended by the bartender, I had an IPA and a shot of Avion. We were half way into our drinks when Daniel the assistant manager took us to our table and had our drinks brought to the table. I told Daniel we were celebrating our 8th anniversary. When we received our menus they had our names on it wishing us a happy anniversary. Our waitress (I think her name was Michelle) told us all the specials and her recommendations. We started with the Ahi tuna tower (WOW it's a flavor rich tower) I had the appetizer sampler which I loved. We also had amazing bread that was fresh out of the oven and so soft, severed with soft butter that tasted like it was just churned. We wanted to order the porterhouse for two but Michelle recommended that we order the porterhouse for one because of several reasons we appreciated. 1. It would be prepared sooner. 2. We could order it two different ways (medium rare and medium well) 3. The price would be the same. I love a waitress that is in tune with our needs and recommends things that will increase our experience. We also ordered the horseradish mashed potatoes and creamy spinach. When the food arrived the presentation was beautiful and the taste WOW the steak was nothing I've experienced before. Everyone needs this experience in their life. My God my taste buds were dancing in my mouth. My steak was butter soft, each bite was an explosion of flavor better then the last. I didn't want to even try the sides because I didn't want to sully the flavors I was enjoying so much. Thank God my wife did, the look alone on her face told me I needed to try what she was tasting. The horseradish mashed potatoes was a one-two punch to my palate. With everything we had there was so much to take home and the bill was worth my wifes happiness and I can't wait to go back. Daniel made sure we left happy which we did. Thanks for a night to remember Morton's

A high end steak house that delivers delicious options on every avenue; from appetizers all the way through to dessert. Ambiance is nice, and decently well lit, while still giving a lavish mood. Staff was very helpful and accommodating, and more than willing to assist with our party's request. I had the bone in ribeye, it was cooked exactly to order and was melt in your mouth tender. As for sides, the creamed spinach and truffle fries were delicious, but the potatoes au gratin is what really blew me away. Lastly, for dessert, the legendary chocolate cake is certainly just that, legendary, and the cheesecake is just as good as you can get. Parking is more than ample and I certainly recommend putting in for a reservation. One thing to note, the entrance is a little obscure and past the building so keep your eyes peeled for it. It may be pricey, but I'd be more than willing to pay if I'm getting this kind of service and quality.

Picture doesn't do justice for the quality of the food that you experience once you take a bite. I was brought there for my birthday and had fantastic service by everyone who was working there. Very curteous and friendly to customers. I will definitely come again for family birthday or other special occasions. Also, thank you for once in a lifetime time experience with pictures and offering your very valuable ring for me to take picture with which I will never forget.

My mother and I both dined at Morton's Steakhouse in Great Neck this evening Friday 6/3/22. It took us over 3 weeks and countless last minute plan interruptions but we did finally arrive. We were served by two very kind and professional servers, Aristella and Joalma, a very nice Salvadorian gentleman. Both were kind and attentive to our needs. It was very important for me to treat my mother to a delightful delectable experience and Aristella and Joalma did just that! We both ordered 2 filet mignon dinners with asparagus and sour creamed-mashed potatoes. It was a dining paradise and the dessert (cheese cake with berries) was sheer delight! Thank you Morton's and thank you Aristella and Joalma for helping to make this a wonderful experience for both of us! This deserved a perfect 10 ++++ but since 5 is the highest score then we give it a perfect 5!

What a great place. Beautiful location and really nice and open on the inside. The food is top notch like always. The chocolate lava sundae was amazing. Definitely try it out. My steak was cooked perfectly for medium rare.

We came in for restaurant week. We were a party of seven. This is a handsome restaurant with a mid-century modern feel. Ordinarily restaurants aren’t playing their”A Game” on restaurant week but we were pleasantly surprised. Our server was very good. The bar deserves a special mention. It was a very attractive and inviting space.

THANK YOU to our server Aristea and the whole team - my wife and I had a wonderful Father’s Day / Birthday dinner here. We had our kids stay behind with the grandparents but would feel very comfortable coming back with our kids in the future. The food was magnificent, the ambiance beautiful and quiet and perfect for a night of great food and conversation. We will be back without a doubt. What a gem.

This is my 4th time at Morton’s of Great Neck. Michael/Luis are some of the best management around. Excellent steaks and raw seafood. Their dry aged selection is really great and the Tomhawk Wagyu (raised in Georgia, Japanese cattle). Never have been unhappy with any of their sides, Lobster Mac & Cheese is excellent. The wine selection is brilliant as well. The Lava cake is also incredible, must have!

The experience was superb, getting the restaurant, you were Valle park, the menu as something for everyone to order, the food was well prepared served by the attentive waitress who had our table. The meals in pictures were ordered and was done as requested. I would recommend this restaurant for your special occasion ...

Went here with my wife and we loved it! The atmosphere was really romantic. The ambience of this place was amazing. The food was some of the best I had. I highly recommend the Shrimp Alexander. The shrimps are jumbo, and the sauce it comes with is really good. The service is like no other. Our waitress was very helpful when it came to the food menu and drink menu. They have a really big wine selection. Will be visiting again soon.

First time coming to Morton’s, and it did not disappoint. Some of the best food and service I’ve ever had anywhere. The lobster Mac and cheese is out of this world. The filet mignon just melts in your mouth as it slides off the knife. We went here celebrating a birthday, and truly left having felt like they made it special.

Very pleased with dinner at Morton’s, I’d be very hard pressed to find much to knit pick at. The food was solid, service was impeccable and all staff was friendly and even though we missed out reservation by 15 we were still seated shortly after arriving and on a Saturday afternoon to boot.

My absolute favorite restaurant. I brought family here and we all got bone in ribeye steaks and they all agreed it was the best steak they ever had. My favorite side is the lobster Mac, even though I should be on a diet 🤭 but I honestly can’t resist. I do wish the lighting was better for pictures. But other than the the service is wonderful and food is top tier.

Everything was perfect from start to finish. Valet was prompt and cordial, the bartender made a perfect Negroni while we waited for the rest of our party. Our table server was very attentive and thoughtful. We had the oysters, scallops, crab cakes, steak, lamb chops, baked potato, creamed spinach, fries, asparagus and 2 wonderful deserts to finish. Just a great evening out.

This restaurant never disappoints. My husband and I went here for our anniversary and everything was perfect. The customer service A1, the wait time A1, the food A1, the drinks A1 and the desert A1. If you are looking for a restaurant that lives up to your expectations of having a good meal and leaving satisfied, this is the place for you. I would highly recommend this place.

I had a really great dinner at Morton’s recently! The service was impeccable and the restaurant was nice and spacious. We enjoyed the food and everything was cooked perfectly! The corn soufflé was my favorite. I’d definitely recommend this restaurant for a great date night spot! (My photos are not great due to the low lights at the restaurant but it made for a very nice / romantic ambience)

We came here for date night dinner on a Saturday. We were seated shortly after our reservation was confirmed. The staff was very polite, friendly, and professional. Our waiter, William, was very knowledgeable about the wines available on the wine list. He was helpful with menu recommendations as well. Our food was served at a leisurely pace, where we had time to chat and chew. The food was delicious, hot, and the steaks were just simply so tender! You definitely need to try the molten lava cake with ice cream and the New York cheesecake with a creme brulee top! I highly recommend Morton's Steakhouse 😊

Mortons is my favorite restaurant. The food and service are always amazing. I have never had a bad meal or experience there! My favorite is their fliet mignon with truffle butter and the mashed potatoes. The creme brule' dessert is the best 👌

I had a great night tonight at Morton’s, the food is already great and the atmosphere was great. I want to give a special thank you to our server Rahmat that made our night very special. I have been to Morton’s in NYC, queens and Atlantic City. I enjoy how consistent they are. The crab cakes are delicious. Flavorful with a great compliment of the sauce. The Oscar style Cajun ribeye is my absolute favorite steak. The mild spice from the Cajun flavoring pairs excellently with the cool and refreshing crab element of the Oscar style topping is magical. The ambiance is a bit dark as is traditional for a steakhouse. The service is great, they checked in my table about every 10 minutes. The drinks were very good, not too strong and not weak. The break was served warm. The dishes came out fast- over all it was a great experience . Get a landrys select membership as well to stack your points up!

Rahmat was my server is very polite and pleasant, I couldn’t asked for better service specially when it was my birthday. It took a picture of me and my boyfriend and hand it to us before we leave it was a beautiful photo he’s the man I will definitely recommend him .

The food was delicious. The staff were very attentive, making sure our requests were fulfilled. I love that the restaurant gives you a great takeaway for the evening, a picture of the guest at the table as a nice keepsake. The ambiance is good. The only complaint is that the restaurant should have a space for guests that require a little more light during dinner. Overall, Morton's in Great Neck is hit to dine with family and friends for special occasions.

Delicious food!! Beautiful decor and the service was top notch! Such a friendly and welcoming place. Aristella our waitress was so pleasant and accommodating. We made reservations for our Anniversary and was pleasantly surprised when the waitress took a picture printed it out and gave it to us to take home. Also our menu had on it Happy Anniversary and she tied it up for us to take home. 😊 Highly recommended this place and will definitely be coming back soon!! Don’t forget to try the chocolate lava cake you won’t regret it.

Excellent service and beautiful interior. We were seated right by the food preparation area and saw the way everything was handled. Our waitress was professional and stayed close to make sure we were happy with our meals. Food tasted great and we had a great experience even a free photo op for a B-Day!

Positives: service from front desk, reception, waitress, manager, entire staff is professional and welcoming Filet mignon and lobster tail combo is a winner. The Troy (mushroom/onions), special potatoes, jumbo crab cake, free bread with butter, lobster bisque are all winners. Improvements: charged $3 for house sauce, should be included. Dampens the mood to see it when Bill is already $$$$. Maybe I'd want a second sauce charge for that. Sundae presentation is beautiful, but too much whip cream. If served in a bowl would be easier to see how much ice cream to cake ratio there is. Ended up eating too much ice cream early and left with too much cake without ice cream to wash it down with. Ambience tad on the darker side, saw some ppl needed use flashlight to read menu. Part of the atmosphere but could help for elders to have another soft light. Satisfying and happy feeling.

Amazing service and the food was exceptional! Eveyone working in the restaurant, no matter what level they were on, had mask and gloves on and eveyone was super respectful from placing everyone at least 6 feet apart and maintaining the respectful distance needed during COVID-19. Thank you for an amazing night! Highly recommend coming here to celebrate with great food and the drinks were made spot on! Thank you Morton's!

A

One of our go-to steakhouses. Always consistent since we have been going. The service is very good. You develop a friendship with some of the waiters who are very nice and attentive which is a big difference from the arrogant Peter Luger waiters. Adding to my review…most of the maitre’d left which had left this place a bit unorganized. Was disappointed the last few times we have gone. Hopefully it’ll turn around once their new hires are there for a while

Morton’s The Steakhouse in Great Neck delivers an incredible dining experience from start to finish. The steaks are cooked perfectly, sides are flavorful, and the service is attentive without being rushed. The warm, classic atmosphere makes it just right for both special occasions and relaxed evenings out.

Upon arriving at the establishment to celebrate my uncle’s birthday, I was greeted by Maria, the manager, who exuded kindness, warmth, and friendliness. Regrettably, I arrived five minutes late and had to inform them of my tardiness, as I had made reservations. I spoke with a young man named Mike, who was equally courteous, understanding, and helpful. The servers were impeccable, and the bartender crafted delectable drinks that were neither overly strong nor expensive. The steak was exceptional, the macaroni and cheese was creamy, the corn was delectable, the crabcake was perfectly executed, and the lobster ravioli was a chef’s kiss. I am thoroughly impressed with this establishment and intend to return very soon. While I have patronized other steakhouses in the past, I have never received such exceptional service. I wish I could extend more than a five-star rating to this restaurant, as it far exceeds my expectations.

It was my birthday and I wanted to go somewhere with high-rated food and exceptional service. I wanted to opt for Olio e Piu, but figured with travel, trying to find parking, and the menu not looking that appealing, it was something I didn't want to do. Before heading out, I gave it another look and saw Morton's Steakhouse as an option, located in Great Neck, NY. This location is only 15 minutes away from my home, and after seeing the reviews, I had to try this place. My last couple of experiences at steakhouses had been below standard or lacking in energy, taste in food, and service. Excited to accompany my fiancée to this birthday dinner, we arrived at the parking lot. The outside area before stepping in was amazing, with decor and a valet parking option. Immediately when stepping in, we were welcomed with a warm welcome and friendly staff and atmosphere. One staff member mentioned my birthday, which felt special. We were sat down at a noted, requested booth. When sitting, we were greeted by our server, Michelle, and given a choice of tap or bottled water. We opted for bottled water and reviewed the menus, which were simple, fairly priced, and exceptionally easy to order. Michelle was very accommodating, and this is by far the best service I've received at any steakhouse. This steakhouse shows that there are standards within their industry, and I loved how Morton's exemplified that on my visit. We started off with a virgin spicy margarita and an old-fashioned bourbon for starter drinks, and a wedge salad for two as an appetizer. For the main course, we placed an order for a 14oz dry-aged ribeye, filet mignon & lobster tail paired with cream spinach and mac and cheese. All food dishes we ate were 10/10 in taste, appearance, and flavor. Michelle, the server, was very attentive, expressive in the menu, and welcoming. Words cannot describe her attention to detail in assuring your stay is as good as when you step in to when you leave. Before entrees arrived, I asked Michelle for a recommendation for a red wine glass to pair well with my steak, and she came back and offered me two samples, which I tried. The one I had wanted first was the one I didn't like, so it was good that Michelle had two options, and I chose her option for wine. As things were wrapping up, Michelle offered me a complimentary dessert for my birthday, and I asked for the lava cake with ice cream. It was delicious. We also received a digital photograph at the table, which we took home for memories. All in all, Morton's Steakhouse is by far the elite top steakhouse in NYC for me, in my opinion. This location here in Great Neck, I would also like to add that all the staff there were friendly, warm, and welcoming. I would recommend this place to anyone, and I would be a frequent guest here for years to come. Thank you for the hospitality and the best service someone can ask for. Your server, Michelle, is the best.

Had such a great experience this past Tuesday at Morton’s in Great Neck! It was a last-minute impromptu date night and everything was perfect. Vinny was amazing — attentive, professional, and genuinely warm. We usually sit at the bar, but this time we chose a table and the experience was even better. Michael, the manager, also stopped by and was so lovely and welcoming. Excellent service all around — we can’t wait to go back!

We had an amazing experience at Morton’s The Steakhouse. From the moment we walked in, everything felt top tier. The service was absolutely outstanding, attentive without being intrusive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell the staff takes pride in what they do. We celebrated our 10 year anniversary there, and they truly made us feel special. They took a picture for us and helped turn the night into a memory we’ll always appreciate. It wasn’t just dinner, it felt like a celebration. The steak was hands down the best I’ve had. Perfectly seasoned, cooked exactly how I asked, incredibly tender and full of flavor. Every bite was consistent and high quality. The drinks were just as impressive, well balanced, strong, and crafted perfectly. Everything from start to finish felt elevated. The overall atmosphere makes it ideal for a date night or special occasion. I honestly keep telling my wife we need to come here more often because every time we go, it’s a 10 out of 10 experience. If you’re looking for the best steak, the best service, and amazing drinks, Morton’s never disappoints.

Well, oh well, what can I say when paired with great food and fine dining what more can a man want? The steak here is beyond incredible. The first bite of me is like biting into butter and I love butter. If you must know when you see my reviews, you could just tell it. I remember when I was just a little guy they told me hey man, how would you like to order? I said a big chunk of steak with a little bit of wonder and they made that happen when I tell you these guys these guys they ate my fries. I thought those guys those guys are amazing. They just know what to do. All you need to say is a little bit of words and they got you covered man they make the best steak, the best green peas, the best sides, and the best fries. If you know what I mean, if you know what I mean all I gotta say is you gotta check out this place not only is the seating magnificent they always know the right temperature to give to all their clients. And don’t even get me started about the dessert that Keylime pie is to die for I ate that Keylime pie and then I ordered a second and then even a third to go that’s how good this Keylime pie is so soft and it’s creamy and amazing.

A response to George Gs review. Your kids mac n cheese was to rich and buttery was one of your complaints? Seriously? Mac n cheese is supposed to taste just like that. Mortens is amazing. Maybe bring your kid's a box of Kraft macaroni n cheese w the powdered sauce next time. Or don't bring them to a nice steakhouse w excellent food.

My dad and I came here, it was my first time at this steakhouse. We came on a Sunday night, it was nice because it was calm and quiet. From the moment, we came in, our server Francis was so great! He was very helpful when I was trying to find a good wine to my tasting. The food was really great, our server asked the Chef if they were able to make a Cajun style porterhouse for 2, since that’s what we were craving. It was so delicious! The jumbo shrimp cocktails also AMAZING! I Would definitely come back here 100%! Thank you Francis!

From the moment we walked in, the service at Morton’s Steakhouse was absolutely outstanding. My fiancé and I went for a delicious anniversary dinner and we were served by Bianca she was very attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. Every detail was handled with care, from recommendations to perfectly timed courses. The food was exceptional !!!!! Steaks cooked to perfection with rich flavors. Yohalmo was so attentive as well and made sure we were comfortable. This is a perfect spot for a special occasion or a memorable night out. What an experience !

When I want a true fine dining experience, a traditional Steakhouse always delivers. I have been to some of the best in this country when I could afford it. Yesterday’s Christmas family celebration delivered way beyond my expectations on all counts… Absolutely fabulous from the moment I valet my car straight through entering what I would call an utterly delightful post-meal “food coma” that was exquisitely experienced. Our waiter and server absolutely brought it home with their delightful, charming, and engaging personalities. The selection, preparation, and presentation of mind-blowing fare was expertly executed. We savored and loved each and every morsel starting right with the bread through appetizers, entrees, and sides. My only regret was not having room for dessert immediately after. No worries, though… We brought those home for enjoyment later. What did we choose that could never be replicated anywhere? A Rib-Eye perfectly selected for finest quality beef cooked to minute precision, Lobster Mac and Cheese that cancelled all hope of ever tasting any other better, Smoked Gouda and Bacon Au Gratin Potatoes expertly balanced with complementing flavor delivered al dente, Filet Minion Oscar - Style with AUTHENTIC Lump Crab and Small Asparagus Cuts that tasted better than ever even when harvested in season during early Spring. Of course, the Filet Minion itself was so beyond expected tenderness and texture, I could have sliced it effortlessly with the dullest butter knife. The accompanying Oscar Style Béarnaise Sauce added just the right hint of oh-so-subtle flavor as only to enhance the beef’s taste without dominating nor competing for flavor. Job well-done, Morton’s. I would actually recommend celebrating a family holiday or special occasion to all to as a no-expense spared, once in a lifetime, bucket-list experience.

The steak and side dishes were very authentic. The onion soup was excellent, much better than the onion soup at many other restaurants. I don't know why other restaurants make their onion soup so salty.

We celebrated a very special 80th birthday for a family member at Morton’s Steakhouse in Great Neck yesterday, and the experience was outstanding. Every single dish was delicious — from the appetizers, to the steaks, to the sides, and finishing with an amazing assortment of desserts. Everything was cooked perfectly and beautifully presented. While we can’t speak to the main dining room experience since our event was held in a private room, the food and service were absolutely top-notch. The staff was attentive, professional, and made the celebration feel seamless and special. A wonderful place to celebrate a milestone occasion — highly recommend.

My husband and I received a gift card here and came for the first time on Sunday. What a lovely experience. I love the cozy interior and great lighting. Customer service, from the second we walked in, was great. We felt very warm and welcome by all staff throughout our entire meal. We loved our server, Bianca, who provided great ambiance. Our food and drinks were incredible and they came out in a very timely manner. So glad we came here. Worth every penny!

This was our first time dining at this particular location, and the service was excellent thanks to our server named Bianca. From the start, Bianca made us feel welcomed and provided top notch service. Can’t wait to come back again. Thanks for having us—and the seasonal Apple pie is a must!

From the moment you step in to Mortons you are greeted with the friendliest staff, Me and my wife was celebrating our wedding anniversary and Mortans made it a very memorable night, Food tasted exceptional, my tomahawk steak was cooked well done (I requested this ) and every side dish was filled with flavor, thank you to the manager, waitress and bus boy that night that made the night wonderful, Pro tip - dip the bread into the lobster ravioli sauce and thank me later 😊

We came here to celebrate my birthday and this place did not disappoint. Valet was quick and courteous shouts to Lawerence. Server was excellent and explained and helped with everything. They serve mocktails as well as alcoholic drinks. The tuna appetizer was delicious!!! The decor and tables were clean and upscale. I order the NY Strip!!! It was perfect. I would definitely come back or even sit at the bar and grab some bites. Also perfect for groups or couples.

Hands down….I highly recommend Morton’s! My husband and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary here, and it was the perfect choice. The mood was just right, the ambiance was elegant yet cozy, and the service was outstanding from start to finish. We shared the tomahawk steak, and I asked for just a touch more seasoning, the chef delivered exactly what I wanted. Everything was hitting….from the appetizers to the drinks to the dessert. The food was so good it nearly put us in a food coma lol! As a sweet surprise, they also took a complimentary photo of us to keep, which made the night feel even more special. A truly memorable dining experience. We’ll definitely be back!

I've been to several Morton's during my travels. This was my first visit to the Great Neck, NY location and it is absolutely my favorite. We were greeted warmly when we arrived and had a round of drinks at the bars before the meal. The bartender made perfect Old Fashioneds and Margaritas for us - superb! When we were seated at our booth, Sardi took wonderful care of us. The jumbo lump crab cakes are the best I've had outside of Maryland. I thoroughly enjoyed the lobster tail and filet mignon - so fresh and cooked perfectly to temperature. The Ora king salmon was also excellent, as were our sides of roasted asparagus and sour cream mashed potatoes. Dessert was a molten' chocolate cake a la mode (delicious!) and key lime pie (amazing). Ambience, service and food were first rate from the moment we walked in. Thank you for a fantastic dining experience!

I had an incredible dining experience at Morton’s The Steakhouse, and I can't say enough good things about it! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was exceptional. A special shout-out to the managers, Maria and Luis, who went above and beyond to ensure our evening was perfect. They were both so attentive, friendly, and made us feel like VIPs. The steaks were, of course, absolutely top-notch—cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The entire staff was knowledgeable and made great recommendations. Every detail was flawless, from the appetizers to the dessert, and we truly felt like we were in the best hands. If you're looking for a dining experience that combines incredible food with outstanding service, Morton’s is the place to be. Maria and Luis really set the bar high for hospitality. Can’t wait to come back!

Morton’s The Steakhouse is hands-down our favorite—and the only steakhouse we’ll go to. Every visit is consistently amazing, and we always leave happy (and full!). Our must-haves are the Cajun Ribeye and the Smoked Gouda & Bacon Au Gratin Potatoes—an unbeatable combo. And of course, no meal is complete without the legendary Hot Chocolate Cake. Last time, our waitress suggested we try the Banana Bread Pudding, and wow—it was out of this world, especially paired with a bite of the chocolate cake. From the food to the service, Morton’s always delivers. It's our go-to spot for a reason!

Perhaps more accurately ~ 4.5⭐s for Food/Drink. Decent 1st impression/visit-a place we've planned to dine at for years & may likely return. As pictured, from start to finish each dish was generous and well presented... Cabernet sauvignon, Pelligrino, Lobster bisque, Caesar salad, Surf/turf, Lobster mac, Asparagus, Double mousse & Limoncello. Fairly personable & efficient staff. Large, clean, well stocked restrooms w thick paper hand towels. Now, allow us to qualify an aspect of this overall positive review: "OUR TABLE" SEATING ~ 1⭐ (A negative worth mentioning). Your unsuitable table placement was at a pinch point, meaning, my back was close to a very narrow aisle heavily used by servers busily whisking food to/fro the entire evening. One enjoying costly fine dining, should have an unhassled experience start to finish! If I wanted to dine quietly & out of the way - that wasn't it! I remember being distracted by the thought that I certainly hope none of the hard working quickly moving servers brush into me w either full/empty dishes. That thought was short-lived, for they did just that - several times; thankfully they didn't spill, drop or break anything nearby. Honestly I feel this partially falls on me, for I shouldn't have accepted the hostess' table selection (Incidentally/interesting our table was also nearest the open walled kitchen, which may have initial entertainment value for those interested in seeing how our meals are prepped, however, this too should be a choice if you desire such an 'intrusion' during your evening). Suffice it to say this will never happen again if we choose to return. Not wanting to make a 'relocation scene', I do recall immediately, but discreetly & quietly verbally protesting (which apparently went unheard)... I should have firmly insisted and certainly will next time such inappropriate seating is suggested! ...And the lighting ambiance is very dim - so be sure to bring a flashlight. I literally obsearved people repurposing their table's "Pig Faux Candle" in order to see their menu/wine list or employing the use of their cellphone flashlight.💡

Giving a four star review, let me explain. We went there for restaurant week and were told by the waiter that they were not participating on Saturday evening. We should have been told in advance when my wife booked the table online. Let's start with the drinks. I had an old fashion, and my wife had raspberry vodka with soda. Both were very good. For the appetizer, we had the bacon wrapped scallops. The portion was three, but we added a 4th. The upcharge was 9 dollars, a bit much if you ask me. Total price 35 dollars for four. Not only that, but some of the bacon was undercooked. For dinner, I had the salmon with roasted carrots and broccolini, which was very good. All cooked perfectly. My wife had the 8oz filet mignon, which again was cooked perfectly. Unfortunately, the filet is not served with any sides. We ordered the gouda and bacon au gratin potatoes which were excellent. Overall, we would definitely go back. We do like restaurant week because it gives us a chance to try different restaurants and dishes. Lastly I would like to say that the staff was very good. We were not rushed and enjoyed the food and experience.

Let’s start off with the service at Morton’s, if you drove there they have valet parking so you don’t have to worry about finding parking at the restaurant. Step into the restaurant and you are greeted by the receptionist and quickly get your seat. The restaurant has low lighting and an overall fancy atmosphere. Overall I would give the atmosphere an 8.7/10. To start the bring out a fresh roll of bread and butter. The bread was very good and paired really well with the butter that was provided. I believe you can ask for a refill if you finish with the bread roll but you’re most likely here for the steak so you shouldn’t get too full on the carbs. With the nice texture and flavor combine with the freshness I give the bread a 9.7/10. Now onto the main attraction, the steak. We ordered the Porterhouse and the Australian Wagyu to share with a table of 5. The Porterhouse is 36 oz. And the Australian Wagyu is 14 oz. We ordered them Medium Rare which is how they recommend you eat it and must’ve been luck of the draw because all the pieces I had were very tender and juicy. I heard from people at my table that some piece had a lot of tendon which really shouldn’t be the case for the price you pay. But this review is solely from my experience. My personal favorite, the Australian Wagyu (14 oz.). Very tender and juicy, the perfect texture you want in a medium rare steak. Paired with the Cognac Sauce Au Poivre and the Black Truffle butter, it made the steak even more enjoyable. If you are a connoisseur of steak you should probably hold off on the cognac sauce as it is kind of overpowering and masks the flavor of the steak itself but the butter was definitely a great addition. With everything considered, the Australian Wagyu will get a 9.7/10. The Porterhouse, I believe it was ribeye on one side and filet mignon on the other. The filet mignon was very satisfying as it was very tender and the flavor was excellent. The ribeye side was less tender but still enjoyable. Don’t have much to say on the Porterhouse except that it was a decent steak. Overall I would give it a 8.7/10. The Lava Cake, takes about 15 minutes for them to make so order it a bit before you finish your entrees. It comes out with the lava cake itself and a scoop of ice cream. The chocolate is very rich and pairs really well with the vanilla ice cream. The portion is pretty small so I think one order is good for one person. I give the Lava Cake a 8.5/10. Overall pretty satisfied with Morton’s and definitely recommend eating there for a special occasion due to the price. Make a reservation ahead of time and hopefully get the same experience I did. Overall Morton’s will receive a 9.3/10 from me.

This place had some good food and some alright food. I eat everything from the finest cuisine to the most average food so my palate is diversified enough to tell what is Great and what is mediocre. The alcoholic drinks were too strong. The service was 5 star and the ambiance was excellent. I don't go just for service and ambiance I go for food and therefore I may not be going here again. The legendary hot chocolate cake was amazing and the portion of the entrees sizes were acceptable.

I had a great experience at Morton’s The Steakhouse not just because of the food, but also because of the service. But getting to the food first, the appetizers such as the bacon and the salads were quite nice, both in taste and in presentation. The mains themselves were honestly above average, but not the best steak I’ve eaten. I asked for medium rare and though some parts of the steak were more on the rare side, the overall taste and cook was excellent. However, I would recommend the rack of lamb, as I was surprised at its large portion size, excellent taste, and fabulous cook on it. The sides, such as the truffle creamed corn and the mashed potatoes were just alright, but the lobster Mac and cheese was certainly a delight. But getting back to the service, our server, Jeanine, was just plain excellent. She remained friendly and professional, always taking care of the water and any questions about the menu that we had. In passing, we mentioned celebrating a graduation and she even brought out a camera to take a photo of us and print it out for us, on the spot. Her overall kindness really stood out to me as something that not all restaurant’s waitstaff have. In terms of atmosphere, I must say that it is a bit dark in there, (as most steakhouses are) but the place was quite clean and the ambience was nice as well. Overall, Morton’s was a good experience that was turned great because of excellent service. - due to the darkness, it was hard to get high quality photos without using flash, so most of my photos are quite grainy.

I went to the establishment with my children to celebrate my son’s birthday. We had heard a lot of good things about the steakhouse. We ordered the Parmesan truffle fries, which were delicious. My son and I each ordered the 16 ounce ribeye medium rare. My daughter ordered the filet mignon medium rare with a lobster tail. We also ordered the lobster mac & cheese, sautéed spinach with butter mushrooms, and the kids had the Keylime pie and chocolate molten cake with ice cream. Unfortunately, the ribeyes were very disappointing. Although they were cooked properly and were tender, they contained an excessive amount of fat. Just for the record, I actually like fatty cuts of meat, but these steaks contained at least 20% of fat. I actually removed all the fat from each steak and was able to get a side dish of just fat. As you can imagine this was not very appetizing. My daughter‘s dish of filet mignon and lobster tail was excellent. The lobster mac & cheese was extremely tasty but way too rich and buttery. The server was very polite, but did nothing to address the poor quality of the ribeye steaks. He simply said that he would pass my comments along. The kids were very pleased with the desserts. Given the fact that I spent $460 for three people ( including the tip) for those fatty steaks , I don’t plan on going back anytime soon.

Honestly the food isnt all that good. I double dated to this restaurant and everything that I ordered came out warm. Like you didnt have to blow on the food bc it was luke warm. It was annoying and off putting.

Went for restaurant week. The overall experience was disappointing. The sirloin was served in a cut that resembled a filet mignon. It just doesn't work for the texture and taste of sirloin. No matter how you cut it, it was chewy. It would have probably been good meet as a steak but not in a ball. Sides and salad were OK. I will not return.

I've been to Morton's so many times and have celebrated many birthdays there. But this year, I was a little disappointed, not because of the food but because of the service. Maybe they were short staff. To start, they gave me a birthday thank you card that said my 60 birthday on it I was 65 this year. Also a business associate called and wanted to pick up dessert for us and wish me happy birthday. They never relayed the message anything. When they did bring out my birthday dessert with the candle burning, my son was in the bathroom, I think they were in a hurry to go home. Hopefully next time I go it's better experience!

Wemt to great neck to celebrate 65 birthday. Service was horrible. Drinks took too long to show up. Waiter never asked how was food or if we wanted drink refills. Side dishes showed up 20 minutes after everyone was finished and sent back. Deserts and coffee took forever. Even after paying bill waiter never came back with receipt. Food was very good but service was awful. I have had better service at an outback steak house at much less money!!!

Service was pretty bad for our visit... never refilled our water until we ask and were looking for someone for over 10mins. Ordered the tomahawk steak and it came a little blend so we want salt&pepper but ended up waiting for someone for over a long time. Even as we ask for butter, it never came. 3 people's bill came up $510 should have better service & attention

Morton’s has been my favorite Steakhouse for over a decade. I go there about 6-12 times a year and most times it’s great but tonight was a real disappointment. Atmosphere as always is great with the lighting ambience etc but we couldn’t get drinks refilled without reminding, nobody asked about water even the whole evening except for the very beginning. The waitress was decent but nowhere near the standards I hold for Morton’s. She was often forgetful with basics requests and would take 40-50 min if it happened at all. She forgot to bring the bottle of wine out for so long she had to put the bottle into a to go bag to take home. Had to remind her twice for something as basic as a soda (took about 45 min to arrive). We were there for a bday and everyone wasnt at the table when she brought desert with the candle and lit it. We told the staff someone was in the restroom and they said we realized there was an empty seat and walked away. Then we blew out the candle cause the wax was getting in the desert. Asked her to relight and she said again she was sorry she didn’t realize the other person was missing. I’m not the type to complain I a restaurant so we continued our evening and after the pain and time to even get someone’s attention to pay the check we left a $200 tip in cash which was respectable on a tab of under $1000. Bottoms like is just do better and pay attention to your customers at a high end restaurant. As a side note the place was dead for the second half of our time so what we initially chalked up to understaff and overbooking went out the window.

We were there last night to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. We went because it was a recommendation from a restaurant group I belong to on FB. I will be letting them know my experience. Atmosphere: It's too dark. Can't see your food. Maybe they do that on purpose. Also when you take a picture, you need to use a flash that bounces off the mirrored walls and ends up blinding people sitting across from you. They sat us on an end with a round table next to us. That was fine, until a family sat at the round table. Anytime the server came there wasnt enough space and my chair kept getting bumped. When I went to leave, I realized if I push my chair back just an inch, I would literally be in the person's lap. Just that close. Food and Service: We ordered 2 medium rare filet Mignon. We received a medium and a completly rare one. So rare my husband couldn't finish because it was chewy and very bloody. A manager came by to ask how everything was, however he did this before we had received our steaks. A steakhouse shouldn't mess up 2 steaks . We ordered creamed spinach and smoked potato au gratin. Those were fine. Dessert was concerning. I ordered a lava cake and my husband cheescake. They brought those to us and now once again its so dark you cant really see what you are eating. He took a few bites and thought the cheesecake went bad or sour. Server came by, he asked her and she said," I know you ordered a cheesecake and I was wondering why they gave me a key lime pie! So the Server knew that he ordered cheesecake and brought him key lime anyway! The restaurant is very lucky that my husband isn't allergic to key lime otherwise they would have a big problem. At the time though, he has never had it so we didn't know if he was allergic. To compensate they did take off the price of my dessert and gave him his cheesecake to go. I used to come here often to celebrate different milestones. Couldn't remember why I stopped coming. I won't be back .

Let me start off by saying the service was absolutely fantastic!! The staff was so friendly and professional and the speed was incredible. My food came out in mere minutes. The food however is what gives this place 2 stars and thats only because the dessert was delicious. I ordered bone in rib eye and it seems like a steak i can get at whole foods and cook at home with same quality and taste. The place needs a renovation and the steak was not what I expected. The drinks is fairly ok but bland and nothing spectacular. The dessert however was amazing. The sundae with the lava cake in it and the whipped cream was incredible. This whipped cream was not your stop and shop brand of whipped cream, it was hand made and you could taste the richness. Definitely worth a try for the dessert.

I went to Morton's for my girlfriend's birthday and the experience was pretty lackluster. Food: When they brought my steak to me, it was well done, and I asked for my steak to be medium rare. When they brought my new steak, it was pretty much rare (dark red on the inside with browned edges, so not cooked adequately). When the manager brought it over and I mentioned how rare it was, she was apologetic but I didn't want to wait for them to fix it again, so I just accepted the meal. My girlfriend asked for shrimp as an enhancement, but they brought over 3 portions one after the other. They only charged for 2 out of the 3, but this shouldn't have happened. They also removed one of our sides as recompense for the steak issue but considering their prices and the shrimp fiasco, I feel that wasn't good enough. Service: As I mentioned, we came here for my girlfriend's birthday and there was no indication from staff or anything. Even when I go to other steakhouses, they'll leave a card or note (when we came for our anniversary back in Dec, they literally decorated the whole table and gave us a custom menu just for us). We've been to many steakhouses for celebrations like this, and they always try to make it special, but not this time for Morton's I guess. The waiter also didn't seem like he knew the food on the menu that well, and while he was nice, he wasn't very personable. Our experience was a night and day difference compared to when we visited back in December and I don't see myself wanting to come here for our next celebration.

Me and 2 other Friends decided to the bubbles and bites. Let’s start off with the female server at the area. Very straight face. We really didn’t feel welcomed. She took our orders. We ordered additional appetizers and cream spinach. She specifically asked if the spinach would come out with the apps or meal. I advised with the apps. We get the apps no spinach. By the way it took about 25 mins for the apps. When she finally came to check on us I told her the spinach never came. I automatically assumed she would make sure it came with the meals, but it didn’t. What was the end? There was a male server helping and I felt like he was a little bit rushy. Before asking, if we wanted anything else, he automatically assumed we were ready for the check. I wanted to order an additional drink, but it took so long for someone to come to the table. I said forget it. I didn’t notice that the table behind us into the left was getting frequent check ups. We received the check and the spinach was still on there. When I advised the man of this, no apologies just OK I’ll take it off. I did notice when he went back to the register, The lady that originally was helping us was standing there. I’m not sure what he said to her, but she shrugged her shoulders. That turned me completely off. I will not be returning back to this location. The service was horrible. The food was mediocre. I would hate to make this a racial thing, but that’s how I felt. My dollar is just as good as any other race.

Porterhouse for 2. The meat was rare instead of medium rare. It was cold on a plate with no flavor or and juice/oil/grease. Just a dry plate. Wasn’t edible. You cannot re-heat a cut steak. They insisted. It was brought back with ou-jou Broth to create some juice. Are u kidding me. Is this Arby’s. The manager insisted I get a New York strip. It was cooked perfect. I cut a piece for my wife and I, neither could swallow it. It was literally disgusting. A supermarket select cut would beat this plate. We were absolutely shocked how they have any customers. Morton’s steaks is the Olive Garden of Italian food. I wouldn’t eat there again if it was free. Bryant and Coopers is 2 miles east. Don’t waste your time or money here.

Celebrating Father's Day, my wife and I ordered the beef wagyu dumplings, it was burnt and overcooked, so we sent the order back to the kitchen. We ordered the jumbo shrimp cocktail and loved it. The 36oz Tomahawk Ribeye was our choice for the main course, I must say this had no flavor and was not prepared to our liking which we explained to the waiter before he placed our order to the kitchen staff. We were extremely disappointed and expressed our interest to the waiter. At no time of our dinner did the manager make his way to our table, the restaurant was quiet and not busy at all. Overall we have dined at this location before but ordered bone-in ribeye and it was fantastic. The waiter never asked about food during dinner, we won't be returning to this location. I will visit Mortons at a different location and restaurants in the Landry Select Club.

Dined at Morton's Steakhouse in Great Neck over Father's Day weekend. My experience was terrible!! Ordered a Boneless Ribeye steak $73 w/french fries $20. You would think for those prices, one would receive a decent meal. Absolutely NOT! Keep in mind they still expect a tip. The steak looked and tasted like a steak you get from IHOP, including the lousy 10 ounce cut I was served. There steaks are suppose to be at least a 16 ounce cut. No where near a 16. Fries...over cooked. The waitress, no doubt probably came from IHOP too. If you decide to go to Morton's, my suggestion to you would be to go to the one in Manhattan. Better yet, go to Peter Luger's Steakhouse. It is located 2 blocks down from Morton's in Great Neck, and the staff is extremely professional & they can cook. Your food serving will be worth the cost. Unlike Morton's Steakhouse! For the record, I did tip the lousy not deserving waitress for the nasty food that was served to me.

I had a reservation last night host was nice we told her it was a birthday. Server took some time getting to us but the restaurant was busy so understandable! We ordered 2 Lemon Drops, strawberry and blueberry. The drinks come and instead of the rim being sugar the bartender put margarita salt we both tasted our drinks and almost threw up!!! We told the server she took the drinks back but came back with them extremely fast but in different glasses and just like we thought the lazy bartender just literally put the drinks in different glasses the drinks still had salt in the bottom, magically the server comes back with brand new drinks after we told her the bartender didn’t remake these he/she just changed the glass! Horrible bartender! We order the $129 Tomahawk steak sliced MEDIUM! Maybe because we’re African American they took it upon themselves to make it MEDIUM WELL, CLOSE TO WELL DONE we didn’t want to send it back so we just chewed on each piece for 30mins lol! Needless to say our server Jay was nice I don’t blame her and she was given $100 tip despite all of the issues we experienced but we really expected better from Mortons

One of the worst experiences that our entire table of 10 had. We were celebrating a birthday and the service was atrocious, we spent almost 3 hrs at dinner which we normally never do. We spend usually half that time but our server was missing majority of the time, we all thought he was the server and cook due to the extended wait time. It took over 30 minutes to get our order in and another hour to get the food. Afterwards dessert he warned us it would 15 minutes for the lava cake but it was over 30 mins. The quality of food and service was subpar and very disappointing. Meal came out to almost $800, we went in at 7:00 and left 10:00pm exhausted and disappointed.

My girlfriends and I went to dine in for the bubble and bites event on Friday 1/16 for a 7:30pm reservation. We were impressed that we didn’t actual sit at the bar but in the bar area with high top tables. Loved it. Everything was going well in the beginning until after the apps came out. My friend never got her cream spinach, so we told the waitress “it’s cool it can come out during dinner” . Our mini sliders came out and she still never got her cream spinach. But when we wanted to let them know …our server was NO WHERE TO BE FOUND. No one came to check on us to see how things were going until we were finished with our food. Another server(guy) came to ask if we were done and wanted to know if we were ready for the bill? We said no could we see the drink menus? We go the drink menu and the guy server went missing for 30 mins! I had to chase him down for attention and said can we have the bill. I informed him that he never came back after dropping the menu off to take our order. That I just want to go home. We got the bill and the spinach was on there. We informed him that we never received the spinach and the original waiter was notified and she just shrugged her shoulders and never apologize For the mistake. I mean she would have known that if she checked in on us once we got our food. I have been to fine dinning to the most prestige restaurants and I have never had terrible service like this before.

I went here with my family a few weeks ago and I was so disappointed with the food. We had ordered a tomahawk steak special medium rare($160) for the steak, it came out well done, so very dry, and very bland. The manager did take it off the bill thankfully but I am unsure how such an expensive steak, that is on special, came out so bad! We also ordered onion rings that tasted like they were out of the freezer. The broccoli, chopped salad and French onion soup were good, but not great. Not worth the price in my opinion. I will say our waiter was great, very friendly and kind.
