The food is healthy and delicious too! They have a wide range of great menu options from meals, soups, and good smoothies- great to go anytime of day from breakfast to dinner. Service can be a bit slow at times; the ambiance is very nice. It would be great to see them commit a bit more to sustainable packaging- not having plastic straws (I think the owner commented on a previous review a few years ago that they no longer carried plastic straws but from what I saw today not the case) and also perhaps asking sit- down customers if they’d like their smoothies or shots in a glass cup instead of plastic. I always ask for non plastic when I order a smoothie and know I’ll finish it there, but it would be great if they asked as well as some people may not think of it.

Juice so good it cured my hangover. Very cute spot for breakfast or lunch!

Visit Date: April 26, 2023 I came here with my two of my friends, one friend lives in the area. I had the avocado toast and added over easy eggs to it. It was pretty good. I don't get enough veggies in my diet so I guess once in awhile it's good to come to an organic place to eat. I can't resist avocados. I enjoyed the avocado toast. This isn't a bad place to come to if you want to eat healthy.

You have got to come here if you are ever in town. They have delicious smoothies and the food they offer is fresh and tastes amazing. The waiters are kind and nice, and they give amazing suggestions when you order. Overall, this place has great food for a great price.

Unexpectedly Great! The food was absolutely delightful. I ordered the Cod Wrap and my sister ordered the Salmon Burger. Her burger did need a hint of salt but my wrap was absolutely perfect. The inside was vibrant to the eyes and caused a very peaceful and pleasant vibe. The scenery inside is nice. The pricing is decent for organic food. Think about how much it cost to buy at a supermarket and all the things together in your food the over all price is great. The servers were nice. I'd eat here again. Photos posted below

We had Mahi Mahi tacos and salmon burger. The salmon needed some more flavor but otherwise good. The tacos were delicious. The yogurt parfait was a sweet and natural way to end the meal. Will go again for sure! Finally a vegetarian and vegan restaurant. Not enough around these parts.

Great neck is lucky to have a cafe that cares about serving high quality food. Food that is organic, and doesn't contain hormones or is factory farmed. The food is excellent and the veggie burger might be the best i have ever had. They are a little slow in service but that is because everything is made fresh to order.

Food is very good (soups are Vegan by default, which is a big plus!) No guessing which menu items are Vegan, as they are clearly marked. Service is a little spotty (I suspect one of the servers is in training, and if they are or not, they need to sharpen their customer service skills - start by smiling!)

GREAT food, excellent menu, HOWEVER!!!! They are SUPER SLOW! Not good, if you want to order quickly, they seem as though they have all the time in the world to come to your table and take your order. And then even if you wait at the cashier it’s not quick at all. It’s not good staff training. Way too comfortable with wasting people’s time. So if you want a business lunch and have 2-3 hours to kill then I recommend this place.

Customer service skills needs tweaking. Multi talented is for the experienced. Can't make smoothies, count money, get the customer order together, and handle your hair at the same time. When you see me coming through the door, handle your business and make me happy

I wish I would be writing this review about Bee Organic, the warm, inviting, cozy little restaurant serving fresh, locally sourced and organic when possible delicious and creative healthy food. But that review would be for the restaurant that opened several years ago in Great Neck, where the dining options are many. Since then, the restaurant has steadily declined in atmosphere and quality, to the point where our last visit there was downright COLD. Literally. That was the first thing we noticed when we stepped in, and when we checked we found that the thermostat was stuck on 67 degrees. We were told that the system was broken, but apparently it had not been functioning well for some time. Nevertheless, we sat down. Then we noticed how the décor and atmosphere of the restaurant had changed, making the ambiance far less cozy than it had been; and then we couldn’t help noticing that there was only one employee in the front to be host, server, cashier and doer of whatever else needed to be done. This employee was clearly doing his best to fulfill all his roles, and he did an excellent job, but it wasn’t the same as being welcomed and attended to as we had been when the restaurant first opened. Then we were served our food. The portions were smaller; the food was warm, not hot; the stir-fried tempeh tasted burnt; the mushroom burger had a strange texture; and the sweet potato that we ordered turned out to be a few cold potato sticks, not the whole potato the restaurant used to serve. We sent the mushroom burger dish back to the kitchen to be reheated, and the kitchen reheated the sauce and the sprouts as well, which didn’t do much for the dish. The real disappointment is that we were so supportive of the owners when they first opened – we appreciated their efforts to bring organic dining to the neighborhood – that we can’t help but feel betrayed by the restaurant’s current state. We still appreciate the fact that the food is healthy, but it does leave something to be desired.

Cool looking place but felt like a burden for asking about vegan items. The cashier working had no idea what was vegan or not and the owner seemed bothered by the questions about it. I know the pandemic has created a lot of financial problems for small business so wishing bee-organic all the best but also like feeling a little weirded out by my experience! Açaí bowl was $13.00 and just ok, carelessly thrown together and messy. It lacked love all around! A place like that draws in people in both quality of product and vibe. This was not the vibe.

Painfully slow service because they’re always understaffed. There’s always just one employee working the counter who’s expected to fulfill 7 orders on time by herself while simultaneously serving tables. Walked out after waiting to be helped for 15 minutes. Extremely poor management.

AWFUL customer service! the kids that are working here have no sense of hospitality whatsoever(hmm manager needs some as well).It does not matter the age, if you don't have it and you are working in the customer service industrie then do your research!. The food is also being compromised lately. Flavors change frequently. my soup today was so salty! This used to be my go to place..not anymore.

Although it's not vegan they always offered options for vegans. I've been coming here for about five years. Today I placed an order to pick up and forgot to tell them not to add cheese on my meal. When I arrived I noticed this and acknowledged my error, willing to pay.The counter girl offered no concession or accommodation. If I was rating this place just for contempt of their customers it would earn 5 stars. Enjoy the untouched salad with cheese and my $14.00. I'll never eat here again.

I went to the Huntington location with my two daughters for lunch today at 03/18. We placed an order and waited for the first item to arrive after 35 mins. Then second item arrived after 10 mins. Last but not least, they didn't start preparing the order for my daughter (Blue Berry Pancake). I didn't eat my lunch as I was waiting for my daughter's order. After checking several time with the staff at register, they kept telling me that it is almost ready. Altogether, after an hour and half, they brought the pancake which were half-cooked and flours was literally coming out of the cakes like liquid. I should have taken the picture of the disappointment on my daughter's face. We decided to leave the place without eating and yet they slapped us the bill for $54 which I paid as I didn't want to make the scene in front of other two customers who got their food even though they came in half an hour later than us. Very disappointing and ruin our day.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. A friend and I stumbled upon this place looking for something quick. Upon entering there's stuff all over the place. They can't decide if they are a cafe or if they are holistic store. The owner had candles and merchandise all across the counter so they couldn't actually work on their workspace. I had two separate women ask if We wanted to stay and to sit at a table- when we said we just wanted to order to go both times the women just walked away from us. I finally get one of the women to take my order. I got a fruit smoothie it's rather boring and I could have gotten it at any other smoothie place for cheaper and have it be twice the size. After I revived my drink my friend just kept waiting and waiting until eventually she went up and said "excuse me can I place an order?" She got guac and chips. For 10 dollars she received a lot of guacamole however the chips were like bags of chips you'd by at a convienent store. And the women who took the order didn't know how to make the "dish". We definitely won't be returning.

I witnessed the most disturbing and disgusting thing. Walk in the restaurant there was a lady there eating with her dog. I was thinking to myself this isn’t sanitary and there’s no signs posted that this place is pet friendly. What really blew my mind was when the waitress bent down to feed the dog . Then asked what do I want to order. I almost threw up are you serious after feeding the dog you want to serve me . She didn’t even wash her hands. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place unless you like dog saliva on your food.

This place is INCOMPETENT. It would have potential but unfortunately no one knows how to work the POS system or make items on the menu. Need a refund? Sorry, they don’t know how to do that. Looking for a matcha? Go elsewhere. It took 30 minutes to get my coffee which was of course, made completely wrong and was undrinkable. Terrible experience and not to mention another customer having similar problems as well.

Soooo I would like to start by saying when we first started ordering from here the food was good but for the last two months the quality and service has gone down. I asked for Avocado toast and they gave me two slices of bread that were not toasted and slapped mash avocado with nothing else on it then charged me an arm an leg for it. Then I check the order after I got him and paid thirty four dollars for the wrong order. I ordered quinoa, black beans and mixed veggies but they gave me brown rice black beans and broccoli. I understand that I am a vegan but that does not mean food has to be boring and don’t charge so much especially if you are never going to get the order right.

Picked up 3 protein shakes they were not in plastic but paper coffee cups. One lid didn't fit the shake is too heavy and wet for the cups they had. The lid busted off when I handed it to my friend and it spilled all over me I had to throw out my outfit and clean my car. Unacceptable. How do you not have plastic? I try to support local but I won't again.

Don’t come here on a busy day! I frequent here, as it one of the only extensive vegan menus in Great Neck, but this is the second time I received really poor service and it breaks my heart to say that it feels racially motivated at this point! I was seated outside by Ashley only to be forgotten. 10 minutes had already passed so I called from outside to place my order and explicitly stated that I was seated outside, and forgotten! No acknowledgment, no apology. Following this exchange, I believe it was the manager (blonde) who came out to tell me they were more or less understaffed, as well as take my order! At this point I’m already annoyed because I had communicated at 1:08 (over the phone) that I wanted my large healthy glow and a bee green salad. I extended grace and confirmed my order for the second time now. I continue to patiently wait for my salad and juice outside, which were brought to me simultaneously— so I ended up waiting an additional 12 minutes for a juice that was served to me without a straw. Now I’m at my ends, so I call from outside and cancel the juice (explaining that I did not receive a straw). The manager comes out with a straw and asks about the juice. I kindly explained that she didn’t bring out a straw. She’s definitely not an actress because she did not try to hide her frustration. She quickly grabs the juice and tells me she’s going to ring me up. Unlike my juice and salad, she wasted no time bringing me the bill— to the point where I was brought the tab that still included the juice. The part I didn’t mention is that two men who came in AFTER me, who also sat outside, and were served BEFORE me. Previously, I had a similar experience. I came and waited about 3 minutes to order take out. I was in a rush that day, so I never got a chance to order due to the fact that I asked the POC in front of me if she had ordered yet (she told me no, and I took that as my cue). So at this point, I’m seeing a pattern. I don’t know what happened to the other cashier/server but the service has drastically declined! The poor customer service and management take away from the cute ambiance and the mediocre food.

Walked in here a few minutes ago and there was nobody at the counter, we waited 5 more minutes and still no one came out. The place looked a little dirty on first appearance and then I looked down at my feet and a giant MOUSE came running across my toes to under the cash register. So glad no one came to take my order. I see the owner has the audacity to call me a liar in their response. I don't lie , I have 0 reason too. I wish I got a picture of the mouse but it ran under their register before I could get my camera out/I was in shock just watching it run around. 0 employees came to greet me but instead a rodent. My husband was with me and saw too and we will be calling the health department on you

I inquired again, at which time the young lady asked the chef to come to the front, and said to the chef "the customer said that I am lying". Let's be clear - I never called the young lady a liar. Ignorance is not lying. I inquired. When I asked the chef about the soup he did not answer. Unclear if there is a language barrier, but he did not nod or respond to the question. Finally, before I left I asked the young lady to satisfy my curiousity and provide a sample of the butternut squash soup. She refused, saying "no, it is the same soup". So what is the truth? You decide. I am not going back. In the past I have had smoothies and soup there and no issues. I only wanted the truth. And by the way, the vegetable soup that I had was mediocre - not recommended.
