Great Tex-Mex food. Very friendly staff!
Best Mexican food I have ever had went and picked it up. It was hot. It was ready. Great service awesome employees would recommend to my family and
Hands down best Tex mex I’ve ever had!
The food was hot and great service.
Great Mexican food at a reasonable price. Usually no long wait for a table and they are pretty good at accommodating larger groups.
We went to Tamollys on Mother's Day and our sweet waitress brought me a little red bag with chocolate it made my whole night ( thank u) . We absolutely love making monthly trips as a family. If u havent tried TaMollys yet go give them a try I recommend the fajitas or beef and cheese chimichangas. The hot sauce isn't spicy and taste delicious and don't forget to order a appetizer and the cheese queso is our go to for appetizer.
Quality and presentation of food is top notch. Waiter and front staff are professional and efficient. Food arrived within a few minutes of us ordering. Temperature was perfect, served on a heated plate. Stayed warm long enough for me to finish. Complimentary chips were perfect and the salsa served with them was excellent. I found nothing negative to write about. I wish there was one of these near me. I'd be a constant guest.
Ate here with my husband yesterday and had a great experience. Highly recommend, service was fast, food was good, and price was excellent! I also have a severe gluten allergy, and I felt safe and they took care of me. GLUTEN FREE! Thank you!
I love their food, service and atmosphere. I'll take a bath in their salsa, it's sooooo good!!!
This was the first time at the TaMollys in Greenville TX and it was amazing! Food was delicious, we loved the service and price! Can't wait to come back!
Great place to eat, good food and fast service. I love the enchiladas.
Great food, got the Enchilada Dinner, only complaint being that the Cheese enchilada didn't have that much cheese but the rest of it was great. Our waiter, Carlos, was very good and the food didn't take more than about 10 minutes. Will definitely go again.
Nice place to grab a bite. Good food. Excellent service. Food came out quickly, fresh. & hot. Good prices.
Really great food. Large portions. Reasonable price.
We so delighted with our lunch today. I had Puff Taco, what's That???, delicious and a little different tortilla wrapping. I'm delighted to have found such a nice restaurant here. 5 Stars!!
As a Kid we Looked Forward to our outing at TaMolly's growing up This Restaurant Definitely has Some Amazing Memories! Thank You for Making our Family Time a Relaxing Experience.
This place was wonderful! The food was just fabulous. Even for my husband who is very picky with his beef fajita meat! Great service and friendly atmosphere! Would highly recommend!
Literally my favorite place to eat. I drive over an hour to eat here. It’s been consistently great ever since I was a little kid.
Great food. Good atmosphere. Great TexMex food.
We tried on a whim after a trip to home Depot. Omg. So did not disappoint. Greeted immediately, food was amazingly good and our server even let me try a sample of the peach tea on the house. If you're ever in Greenville and super hungry, this is the place. Don't sleep on this place And I personally loved the play on words with the name 🤣
Food and service was very good. We had 9 in our group and ended up in two seperate locations. Was on a Friday evening and very very busy. Workers did the best that they could do to get us seated properly as quick as they could. Will go again and eat with no hesitation.
Our waiter was quite attentive. The food came out quickly and was hot and delicious. We tried the Sampler since it was our first time. We were just after the Sunday rush crowd left. They were still bussing a lot of tables, but we were seated immediately. We pass through Greenville a lot so I can see us stopping there again.
We were working in the area. Decided to try based on the Google reviews. It was great! The food was really good. My hubby got the cancun plate, and I got brisket fajitas. We couldn't finish our food. The price was very reasonable. Our waiter was awesome. We came around 330pm on a Wednesday. We will come back when we're back in the area.
TaMolly's is another one of our Mexican food goto's. We always order a Bean Challupa as an appetizer. I don't recommend the fajitas here as they are not bad, but not the best I've eaten. Usually the restaurant is cold so only 4 stars for atmosphere.
Fabulous food and fabulous service! Highly recommend!
I've been here multiple times, and the food and prices are really good. It's very clean. The service is great.
My family and I went to TaMolly's for the first time today. We love trying out new restaurants every Sunday. My son had an incident and started choking on his food (to no fault of the food or restaurant). He stood up in front of my husband and I holding his throat, we of course instantly went into panic mode trying to help our child. The manager and 2 other servers rushed to our side as well as another visitor who was dining. The staff at TaMolly's sincerely helped a very scary situation for us and continued checking on my child throughout the rest of our dining experience. The food truly was wonderful, we will be back. When we received the check, without any expectation from us, the manager had comped our son's meal and came over to us again as we were paying. It truly brought tears to my eyes, the kindness this man showed to all of us. Thank you to everyone who was on duty today around 1PM to 2PM.
From the moment you walk in you can smell the right smell. Delicious Mexican food is waiting for you at TaMolly’s. We got the lunch portions and it was out fast with tasty beans and rice. My chicken chimichanga was crunchy but the chicken was still juicy inside. The chips and salsa were endless and fantastic. I asked for a side of salsa to pour on my rice, just like I ate at my neighbors in Arizona and our hostess poured me a fresh cup of salsa and laughed at how much I was enjoying the house classic. Definitely recommended.
We like this place a lot. Service sometimes isn't perfect and occasionally when its cold the back door opening all the time isn't pleasant. But overall we will be back many times.
We love TaMollys and eat here about once a week. Chips and salsa are excellent and food is always piping hot. Servers are friendly and fast. We usually get our meals within about 10 minutes of ordering. Prices are about average but they have a nice variety of lower priced items on the lunch menu. They do use peanut oil, so if you have a peanut allergy you may want to go elsewhere. My husband likes charro beans and they will substitute them for refried beans at no extra charge. They open at 10:30 a.m. on weekends and there is sometimes a line, but it usually doesn't take long to be seated.
First time. The food was yummy! Service was ok. Could have been better. We had the fajitas combo with chicken & brisket The brisket is amazingly good. My husband had the brisket nachos, which was GREAT. TRY anything with Brisket. You won't regret it.
It's nice to see the original Tamollys is still thriving. Great food.
TaMolly’s has always been my favorite Tex-Mex restaurant in this area. I’ve been here since 1994 or so and it has never changed on its flavor, service or even prices. The prices here are considerably better than others during this economy. Two people are still able to go out to a decent restaurant, enjoy great food as well as service, and not leave dreading the bill. This is why my unwavering opinion is that TaMolly’s is still the best!
We ordered lunch burrito, meat was tasty & very good portiin & lunch enchiladas, rice & beans perfect and the chips are superb.
Our waitress was so awesome. We took our 5 month old grandson and he was so happy during our meal. Our food was really good and so much we couldn't finish it all.
You get a lot of food.\n On the portions that you order Cyrus was great. I\n Will definitely tell my friends and family to visit as well.
The food was good, but the service was lagging a little bit. I sat for about 10 minutes before finally getting a servers attention to get my drink order. They were busy, and the food is why; if I had to guess, I'd say I'd go back again for them to redeem themselves, but you won't be disappointed with your meal.
The food is always good. Beef fijata meat is really good! Wait time is not bad unless peak lunch/dinner time. I have eaten at Tamolly's since the 90s when it was in Sulphur Springs. Food is still as good as I remember! Our experience today was not a disappointment. We did have a misunderstanding in the order but I will take the ownership in my communication. I asked for quesadilla but then said chicken fijata (which I meant the chicken for the quesadilla), but our waitress was accommodating with helping us with shredded cheese and my son made "tacos". He loved his creation w the qeuso as well. Enjoyed our experience.
Donia was a pro & took really good care of us! We are from Texas but we travel and haven't been in TX for 7 months. We told Donia how much we missed food in TX and everything she brought us was hot and fresh and delicious! The chips were light and crispy and we loved the red and green salsa. We had a great order of combo nachos with everything and perfectly made! (None of this pile of chips with a dab of cheese sauce you get everywhere on the west or east coast!). We were full but we ordered a dinner with a crispy beef taco, one cheese and one chicken enchilada with awesome chile con carne sauce and sour cream sauce and nothing on the west or east coast can touch that either! Top it off with a great frozen margarita and we were in food heaven! Thanks Ta Molly's and Donia for the amazing welcome home dinner!
Was able to stop by here for lunch while in the area and glad that I did as this spot brings a ton of nostalgia! Parking was easy, we were seated fast, and ordered promptly. I ordered the guacamole dip to start and chicken fajitas for the main. The food came out quickly and was delicious! Their salsa is always good and not too spicy. If they had locations closer to Dallas I would definitely be a regular!
We love TaMolly's so much that we drove 35 miles to get there. We used to enjoy going to the one in Waxahachie, but it closed just before we moved to the Dallas area. My daughter and I were so happy to find another one.
Food is fantastic. I had enchiladas with queso and chili sauce on them. Notice in the picture included with this great review how the 3 enchiladas plate with refried beans and Spanish style rice has BIG AND GENEROUS portions. I placed a dollar bill next to the plate to show you the size. Since this is in Greenville, Texas, many restaurants have lower prices on their menu items than restaurants in more expensive cities like Plano, Allen, Rockwall, Rowlett, and Addison. I think that much food is a very good amount for around 11 dollars. Beverage and dessert cost extra, just so you know. The chips and salsa that came before the meal were great; the chips were hot, thin, crispy, and fresh. The salsa dip was mild, and not hot, which many people like, including myself. I have a low tolerance for hot flavor foods because they can upset my stomach, so it worked perfectly for me. Many other Mexican food restaurants salsa that is served with their complimentary (most) tortilla corn chips is TOO HOT FOR ME. This, to me, is being inconsiderate of those who don't like highly hot or extremely spicy foods. Offering MILD salsa by default is a great way to go. For dessert I had a chimichanga with NEW YORK CHEESECAKE filling, on top of a bed of powder sugar glaze that seems to have a light amount of lemon flavor. This is a tortilla having cheesecake filling, rolled up, and deep fried, garnished with whipping cream (see photo). It was delicious!! Check out the dining room photo too. Should you find yourself in the Greenville, Texas area, and like Mexican food, try this place. Hope you like your experience there.
Stopped in while passing through. Everything was good. We shared the lunch fajitas and a couple margaritas. That was more than enough to eat. The chicken was seasoned very well. The onions and peppers were cooked perfectly. I’d recommend going here all day long. It is a great Tex-mex place!
This place was absolutely amazing, The food tasted great and even my one year old loved the nachos that they served. The servings are good size and their service is awesome. The waitress was very attentive and sweet to all of us and we were welcomed in as soon as we walked into the door . They serve their food very quickly and it’s still delicious. Would recommend again .
We love this place, always a good meal with friendly service at a good price. I have to edit this, and first say we eat here at least twice a month or more. Tonight was the first time I have to say the food was really disappointing. I decided to try your cheeseburger for a change. And I fully get that you are a Mexican restaurant, but it was just so bad. I asked for it as rare as possible. When it came out, it was a pre-made beef burger, not fresh made. It was so over done it was almost burned and had black char marks on it. The cheese was like a slice of American plopped on there and nasty. I tried to eat it but it had a really off taste to it. Like freezer burn or just old nasty grill. The fries were under cooked and soggy. I ate about 1/4 of the burger and a couple fries and brought the rest home to the dog. Normally your food is great, but this was just so bad. I get that you put other things on your menu as an option but if this is what the burger Normally is, I'd leave it off.
I do love so good TexMex and that’s exactly what you get at TaMolly’s! It’s especially good now that you can get a margarita (yes! In Greenville Tx!)! The service was good and the food was great! The taco pictured came with the Fiesta my husband ordered. The plate is my order of chicken flauntas topped with queso. We both loved the large margaritas on the rocks. The menu has many great items and you cans order off the lunch menu all day for only a buck more.

Standard tex-mex, but done right. Fresh, flavorful, huge menu, daily specials, clean floors, courteous wait staff. Huge portions, too. We got full! Will return.
Good food at a good price will eat here again
Great atmosphere and food. I love the variety or menu options that are offered. The server appeared to be in a major hurry and at times was seemed a bit impatient while we ordered. Overall, he did a great job and seemed to be experienced. Great food, good service, and probably the best overall option for Mexican food in Greenville.
We love TaMolly's when we drive through the area! The ground beef in the tacos was SPICY. They wouldn't let us call ahead and place an order, to sit down and eat. We had a very busy day. If you allow call in orders, to pay when they pickup, why not allow people to call in and order to eat there. Saves 20 min. We have done this at other restaurants when short on time.
Pretty good ! It's been consistent for us so far ; nice comfort food. The to-go people are either very nice or very rude, no in-between.
My fiance, my son, and myself meet some friends there for an early dinner. Our waiter Mango was great! We didn't have to wait for anything. The food was out quick with good portions. I got the chicken enchilada with sour cream sauce and a burrito with queso sauce, my son got enchiladas, my fiance got a burrito platter. All came with beans and rice. The food tasted was good.
My food was good but it was FREEZING in there. Bring a sweater. Our waitress was very nice.
Good auth mex. Has good gluten free options for celiac peeps
It was good, me and the wife got some queso too start. She had ordered an enchiladas platte and I had order a chimichanga platter. Also ordered a frozen strawberry margarita for the wife. The service was good, the food was good, all around good experience.
Enchiladas dinner was great, prices were good. We ordered the white queso and it was far from the white queso I am used to, it was a translucent yellow disgusting queso but the rest of the food was great.
If I am allowed to post pictures you’ll see my confusion. You would think we came in there and slapped all of your mama’s the way our beans were tossed in there like abused children. I can’t get over the blatant disrespect to the Mexican fast food community. Food is quality, however. A little more refried goodness for the take out people?
Not bad food. Service was quick and price was great. Not the best Tex-Mex but definitely worthy of the Tex-Mex label. As someone from Texas and possessing a refined taste forauthentic Mexican, it did not disappoint. Great place to take the family.
Love this place. I used to eat here A LOT... I've started eating differently... but I still make efforts to come get some great food, great service

Not anymore! prices are higher and the food portions are smaller. The place is hot, too. Servers are a hit-and-miss, depending on the day, perhaps. Do better, Tamolly's.
One of Greenville's older restaurants. There are many mixed reviews. Was here with my Sweetie for a quick lunch. service was great. Good tan here. Food was good here also. Plenty to eat. A regular …
Nice place, and reasonable prices. However, the beef taco meat was so dry from a microwave, I would guess, that we couldn't even finish them. Waiter said sorry but did nothing. Beef enchilada was good but dry. Just feel like my whole plate was nuked before it was brought out.
Food was ok, haven't been back since. There are better mexican food places close by
I don't understand why locals love this place so much it is average at best. El Fenix is bit better for tex mex, but El Palenque is the spot for even better mex food in Greenville.
I recently visited TaMolly’s and decided to try their chicken salad. The restaurant has a lively atmosphere, typical of a Tex-Mex spot, with vibrant decor and friendly staff. The chicken salad itself was okay. The portion size was also ok, and the ingredients seemed fresh, but the flavor was somewhat lacking. The grilled chicken was tender, but it could have used a bit more seasoning. The salad dressing was light and refreshing, though I would have preferred a bit more zest to complement the Tex-Mex vibe. Overall, the experience was decent, but nothing particularly memorable. If you’re craving a basic salad, this might work for you, but if you’re expecting bold Tex-Mex flavors, you might want to try something else on the menu.
I've waited 8 yrs to go here when I moved from TN to TX. Had some free time during my visit from the two to stop in and I was a lil disappointed. The service wasn't all that great, our waitress was in no hurry to check on us or to see if we even needed our drinks refilled. Server messed up one order but it took almost 20 mins to try and flag someone down to come change the order so my daughter just ate it like that. Idk about this place...
Service was lacking tonight. 10 to 15 minutes to be greater, finally asked the hostess if we were invisible. I'm not sure if I understand management logic, 1 server for the 10 top, 12 top and the 8 top while he has 2 other 4 tops. Hostess decides he needs another 6??? Food was okay. You could tell the oil for the chips and other things needed to be changed chips were very dark. My wife's cheese enchiladas the tortillas looked almost burnt. I have a food cost trick for you. You chicken tenders are not tenders there about a 4 to 5 ounce breast. If they are that large cut them in half. Manager was walking around clueless one dining room was in the weeds. Look at the servers, our server was good he was just overwhelmed. Him trying to serve about 30 people. He gets help with chips but not drinks and order taking.
Restaurant was clean. Service was great. The food was just fair. We were starving after a long flight so we were not being very picky. However we will not be going back to another Tamolly's for goo…
A very busy and very loud restaurant. Staff members are friendly and attentive and food is quite nice. Not my favourite Mexican restaurant but it is nice enough.

Not as good as other local Mexican eateries. Salsa a little disappointing. Food tasted okay and was plentiful. Service okay but not outstandingly friendly. Took a while to be seated.

We ordered this out under my boyfriend’s name, Wesley, I went in to place. I walk in and both of the hostesses are looking down at their phones, I have to say, hellooo for them to notice I was there. Leave get home and order is wrong. Ordered taco salad and flour tortilla taco, gave me two taco salads, which were not good. My boyfriend said his food was okay. Not great customer service or food in my opinion.
Every Wednesday, for about a year now I pick up an order for 2 beef enchilada dinners, 1 with queso & 1 with sour cream. Simple order but they can't seem to get it right! Last week (and several times before) I got 1 sour cream with CHICKEN dinner & 1 beef with queso dinner. So this week I told the person on the phone taking the order to PLEASE make sure that they where both beef. She said she would make a note on order but she didn't know what they were doing back there! Lol So I pick up my order, drive to Cash, and set down to eat and both orders where CHEESE ENCHILADAS! My goodness, you should be able to trust in a restaurant to get such a simple order correct especially after asking order taker to PLEASE see that they get it right this week. You can't very well open and cut into dinners at curb side pick up to see if your order is right nor should you have to! I guess we will go back to El Fenix on Wednesdays, sad but at least they get my order right.
Man I was really hoping for a BANG with this restaurant but that didn't happen. The salsa had no flavor but tomato., it was not great. We ordered queso and got this weird color cheese that tasted funny.,also bland. We ordered safe because the appetizer was sketchy so, ya know! Food was average. Basically if u want to eat quick bland Mexican food GO HERE!!
Really not happy with Tamollys. We have ordered to-go 3-4 times recently. Twice, our order was incorrect. Things we paid for were not included, i.e. guacamole, salsa. Tonight I ordered combo nachos. I got beef only, and the meat was dry and burned. They also, finally, told me they were charging $1.25 for each additional hot sauce. But the hot sauce included (one small for meal and chips) is only half full when you get it. Most of the food has been good, other than the nachos tonight, but small portions and salsa is not worth it. There are too many Mexican Food places in the area that are equally good if not better.
I was so disappointed with the flavor and taste of the food. In my opinion it was not good at all. The presentation looks good but not the flavors. Unfortunately we couldn’t eat our dishes so it was a waste of food and money. The soup was bad, so was the cheese idk what that’s was and there salsa ezzzkkk and those were just some.

Third time through the so called drive. 15 chips and the second time they have forgotten the set up on my chicken quesadillas. Called the manager and he didn’t care. Bag had only 15 chips. Terrible
Just went with my family. It was our first and only time there. The waitress didn't listen to our drink an order or our food order. I ordered the tortilla soup, and it was absolutely terrible. The chips on the top were completely stale. The waitress came back by and asked if I was done without asking what was wrong with it or if she could get me anything different and we still got charged for it. My husband's food was cold, and he said it was so bland. Not impressed!
Ordered chicken and it was over cooked dry and so tough I couldn’t chew it. I ask for a sharp knife and was told they didn’t have one. What kind of restaurant don’t have steak knives. Worse food I have ever been served. Will not be back there
Had a to go order. Didn't get salsa with my chips. Didn't get the donut and glaze with the sopapillas. Ordered the ta mallys platter they gave me the sampler platter. I wanted enchiladas, I got a quesadilla. My husband went back 25 minutes one way. They brought out the same thing that they gave us to begin with for the dinner. They brought out cinnamon sugar but no donut glaze and one tiny bowl of salsa. This wasn't worth the trip at all by the time it got back. The tortillas are so tough I can't bite through them. All the sauces in the enchiladas was all run together. I won't be going back
Eating at this place feels like im being served school cafeteria food. The combination of poor ingredients and unauthentic flavors is very unfortunate. I’ve eaten here 3 times but only cause it was a free work meal and who wouldn’t want a free lunch but I really wish this place would do better cause theres not much good food in town.
Guys, I am not kidding I was nauseous all day after eating this and ended up throwing up. I have never not been able to eat at least a little of my food, but with this meal, I actually had to stand up and leave. The queso tasted exactly like goopy canned cheese as well as the chicken, beans, and brisket. Service was also very slow. It was not just me, the whole table felt this way.
We came here after being highly recommended and we were severely disappointed. Service was great no complaints there but the food was absolutely horrible. The ground beef looked old and was flavorless. Like it had been sitting in a warmer all day. The rice was bland and had no color. We only took a few bites before feeling nauseous. Very disappointed as this is closest texmex restaurant to us
