I love the Auction Barn! It's local, convenient, delicious, friendly, and fairly priced. I pick up dinner for take out at least twice a month.

I always get the hot turkey sandwich which is absolutely delicious with homemade mashed potatoes. Today I brought home the zucchini soup which my husband said was excellent. He said it also had sausage in it and the best he has ever had. The restaurant is always immaculate and the waitresses are always very courteous.

Had lunch. The food and service were very good. Relaxing atmosphere. Although I didnt have it, the baked potato bar looked amazing. I will be back to try that.if

This has got to be one of the best little hometown feel restaurants I've ever seen and been to. The buffet table is cute for the early birds and the one lady makes her own meatloaf from her own recipe and it is probably even better than my moms which is almost impossible to do, but somehow shes done it and it Tastes like home. The prices are decent and cheap and the portions are huge. It's like a hole in the wall in the middle of nowhere but hopefully you dont drive past cause youd be missing out on a great meal and friendly atmosphere.

The Auction Barn is a wonderful place to satisfy that craving for some comfort food! Everything had a great flavor, lots of great variety and the customer service is incredible. Friendly wait staff, good coffee, and the owners are right there working alongside the staff cleaning, taking orders, and filling coffee. Restaurant is bright and clean and welcoming. SMALL RESTUARANT, HUGE HEART. Visiting from Montreal, we found this culinary gem of a country restaurant. NOTE- The bad reviews are from FORMER management! We liked it so much, we stayed in Argyle extra days....to enjoy their several breakfast. and lunch. Kerrie recommended I try the salad bar. Had time to kill before heading to our cabin in lake George monday so after reading the reviews we decided to go out of our way to eat here. Boy are we glad we did. The servers were all very nice. My Reuben was delicious and my husband's burger was very good. I also purchased some of their homemade strawberries rhubarb jelly and have been enjoying it on an English muffin every morning.

We stopped here for the first time and I ordered the veggie omelette which was delicious!! My husband ordered the scrambled eggs, hash browns and toast. My husband had to order his chocolate crème pie and a few bites In we realized we completely forgot to snap photos! Everything from the service to the food was well worth the travel. I highly recommend this restaurant.

So we read about how great the food was and always drove by but never stopped. Sat down and noticed the dots art work and I sent a message to our friends Frank and Diane .and we told her about the dots and she told us our neighbor Dorthy was the dot artist . We laughed that what a small world we live in . Had a wonderful time with three ladies who asked to share a table with us . And Tom was so nice and the food was wonderful. It's a locals place that normally I would give at least 4 stars. On this occasion my group had cold home fries, incorrect orders, orange juice that was just water and about a 45 minute wait for our food. I'm not sure what's happened. Under staffed, new staff or just an off day.

Got a bacon and cheese omelette with hash browns Bacon was precooked and the hash browns were deep fried and one was over done (maybe because it was…..?) Could also taste what was cooked in the oil

Service was very slow, waited almost 15 minutes for somebody to come over and take your order, then when the food got there the eggs were overcooked, severely, the toast was cold and burnt with almost no butter on it. There was also a couple of other people who came in behind us, that were waited on and received their food 10 minutes before the waitress even came to our table.The waitress was a little snarly. This was my first time there, and most likely will be my last.

Not that great good server brought out my daughter's food ...while I sat and watched her eat ..mine came out 10 minutes later ...granddaughters fries were cold ....corn beef hash was like soup ....it was very busy ...but very poor quality food and service

Terrible breakfast. I ordered a mushroom omelette the omelette was burnt my husband ordered 3 eggs he only got 2 the home fries were store bought not fresh potatoes like other restaurants & the place was not busy.

Terrible, not sure how else to describe service and food. I’m still flabbergasted on how this lunch went down. I ordered a plain cheeseburger cooked medium with fries crispy and a Mt. Dew. Seems pretty simple. The soda remained sitting on the soda machine till after food arrived and had to ask again for it. The burger was 2x’s past well done so after the first bite that was not gonna get eaten. The crispy fries were mushy and slightly cold in the center. Far from crispy or done. After not eating hardly anything the nice waitress asked if I needed anything else. Once I informed her of the issues she offered to not charge me for the food and would only charge for the soda! Never once offering to remake it properly or could I offer you something else nothing. I paid the bill which she apologized for it not being right but when I said “it’s not your fault you didn’t cook it but now I have to go find somewhere else to get something for lunch” she once again didn’t offer to remake or ask if there is something else I would like. Unbelievable how bad there customer service was today.
