I recently saw this place on the news highlighting their food. I had to try it. So we took our family to celebrate my daughters 18th birthday. It was pretty awesome, well be back.

BB's Tex-Orleans is consistently a home run every single time we visit! I never had a Red beans and rice salsa, pineapple sausage, and cajun mushrooms over dirty rice!!!! 😋🍚 😋The food was excellent especially my 🦐 shrimp and 🐟 Fish empanadas. The server was really nice. I'll be back for sure. I enjoyed everything and cleaned my plate.

Gulf Coast Mobility Galveston

We recently visited for my partners birthday and had a great experience. The food and service was both fantastic. They definitely have the best crawfish around! They are located in a very congested area right off the highway, but parking was ample. We went during lunch and they were not busy. There was plenty of seating and the staff was attentive. I highly recommend a visit.

The place had a very fun, eclectic decor really going for the Cajun Creole atmosphere food came out fresh and the appearance was excellent. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. everything was well seasoned the batter on the shrimp was light not hard or crunchy. My partner had the big tuna fried chicken sandwich. didn’t get a photo of that because he ate it too fast but it looked fantastic. Very soft bun and plenty of chicken to go around.. I would recommend this place and can’t wait to try something new the next time give it a shot y’all come!

My first visit was today. The food and service was excellent. You must Must try the Cajun Empanadas. They were so good. I had the shrimp and snow crab boil with mushrooms cooked in the Tex Orleans Way. Get the dipping sauce. They give you a bowl of warm water with sliced lemon and lime. It is better than soap. My server was Lee and he was awesome. He made great recommendations.

Awesome flavor on their steamed seafood. Their great prices on their Dungarees & Snow crab legs, shrimp, and vegetables combination steam pot. Will make them a regular restaurant.

We come to BB’s often for the crawfish, but we recently fell in love with a few other menu items too. The boudin nachos, which are only available during happy hour for some insane reason, are absolutely delicious. The Cajun Caesar salad with salmon hits every time. The food always comes out hot and full of flavor, and the drinks are pretty good too. The service is okay, but the food never disappoints. BB’s is definitely one of our go-to spots for great Cajun comfort food.

So we had the fried shrimp, oysters and red beans and rice. My girl had the boudain flauta's and red beans and rice. My son had the Pollo bullets. He said his chicken was dry but had ok flavor. My oysters were over cooked. My shrimp was good. The red beans and rice were over cooked and kinda bland. Now my girls was amazing. Her red beans and rice were the same though. Service took forever and the food took awhile.

I was really excited to come to BB’s today but left a little disappointed; there were a ton of dead/mushy crawfish in the boil as well as my 1 of crab clusters shell was completely mushy, you could bend the legs completely in half and they still would not break. With that being said the flavor was on point and the service was mostly solid, it did take over 20 minutes for our server to take our checks after dropping them off so the other person in my party (of 2) brought him the checks after a while. Our server had a great personality so nothing against him, I believe he may have just gotten really busy.

Our waiter had to be asked to bring silverware, our appetizer arrived with our meal, (obviously he never ordered it) and only after we asked about it 25 min after ordering. Never came to check on us. Food was, good though. But so another thousand other places. We'll not be returning.

Let me preface this review by saying we went to this location during restaurant's "no-man's land" time. After lunch and before dinner, which is notorious for bad service, and that's what we got. No one to greet/seat us. Server did the minimum drink order and delivery and food order and delivery. Then she disappeared. I got up and went to the bar to refill my Coke. We grabbed another employee to get our bill. Food was OK. My gumbo was fairly bland, but decent sized portion. My wife's burger with onions, jalapenos, cheddar and bacon was actually very good, but the fries were soggy and COLD. They were so cold we'd have sent them back, but there was no one to take them. May have been the timing but didn't want to make me come back.

I’m from Louisiana, play some upbeat zydeco music, have the servers show some energy and enthusiasm. The experience was good, but could’ve been awesome with a few changes

The appetizers were amazing, but the poboy was so dry and barely had any meat in it. While I was disappointed in the main course, my experience with Shaidy, our waiter, made it such a great experience. She was attentive, funny, and courteous.

This place used to be excellent, with almost no complaints from customers until today. The Brook Brownie Sunday did not meet expectations; it was still cold when we received it, which was disappointing. I asked for another one, but it just didn’t taste as good as before, lacking the rich flavor and creamy texture we previously enjoyed.

reheated sysco food at it's worse somehow. i'm not enough of a snob to care that all of the food taste reheated but the fact that it's over salted and no flavor is crazy for a cajun spot. i was warned many time not to come and i shouldve listened, not to mention the exorbitant prices for again, reheated sysco food. $30 for a small fried catfish filet, 3 shrimp, a handful of crawfish and like 2 fried oysters is diabolical to say the least. the arnold palmer was good and my waitress was great.

The food here is seriously atrocious i highly recommend NOT coming here if you can avoid it. the fried seafood is wayyy too salty and soggy somehow.. way overpriced for the quality of the food and a terribly long wait time (which im not even counting against them all that much since it was a dinner rush, even tho there was plenty of seating available.. i digress). the food itself is reason enough not to go. at least don’t get the fried seafood and the french fries. when i bit into my 2nd shrimp i seriously felt like i had just spooned a bunch of salt into my mouth i really wish i was overselling it but im being so honest. the french fries were like grease bombs since they’re so thin, there’s like no potato inside it’s just pooled up grease. not good. the catfish was soggy and very flavorless. one of us got a burger that was also super soggy, it looked like it was dropped on the ground and stepped on. i’m not ever someone to post a bad review so scathing but this was seriously, a waste of money. they really need to work on that menu, the price point is really really not adding up to me. at all. if the food is crap, that’s one thing. but for it to be crap at $25 - $30 a plate, that’s just absurd. i think an episode of kitchen nightmares could be filmed here. when i sent back my food i was told the manager would be out to speak with us but they never came by. our waitress was really nice and attentive though, her service was good and she was apologetic about the food as well.

We visited this location with a party of six: four adults and two kids. We sat ourselves since we saw a sign that read “please seat yourselves”. We saw staff inside the party room but none of them came to our table. We watched waiters pass our table but none of them stopped to help us. We waited about 15 mins before asking the host for help. We then saw some of the staff from the party room play “nose goes” to determine who would wait on our table. We found this to be rude and unprofessional. No one had helped us until that point and it made us feel like no one wanted to service us. Then Elohim greeted our table. He was being trained by Bianca. We let him know that we saw the game staff played and he apologized. We saw that he was one staff member that did not participate in the game. He then returned with his trainer Bianca. All but one member of our party received their food. She waited about 20 mins to receive her food after everyone else received theirs. It wasn’t prepared correctly so she sent it back. Another 20 minutes passed and she hadn’t received her food while everyone else at the table had finished theirs. She then canceled the order and did not eat.

Food was good, service was fantastic but I put one star because I had to watch the short female manager come out of the kitchen and start talking badly to two female servers. I felt so bad for them. If that's what they have to put up with here, I don't know why they stick around. Just straight disrespectful and rude for no reason. Go to another location!!!! Specially with a group of 4 our more. They are not equipped to service you. I wanted to share some feedback about my recent visit to BBS Café. I waited over an hour and fifteen minutes to just get a table and the restaurant was nearly empty the entire time. It was really disappointing, especially since there didn’t seem to be a reason for such a long wait. I hope you can look into what happened I’d love to see the service match the quality of the food in the future. The staff looked really unhappy and unwelcoming. I’m sure it was because they were understaffed. We got here at 6:15 and is 8:06 and not even water is being served. He so called manager “uncharged” said that they were busy. This was literally past 2 hours and no drinks. We ended up leaving no apologies, no disregards, these Kids were over the night and they just wanted to close the store. That’s what it literally felt like. The white oak location is where is at. They know how to handle pressure, they have many the waitstaff that can actually work.
