My favorite place in the Metroplex. Yes, it's a hole in the wall and a pain to get out of the parking lot in some directions but it's worth it. I have been eating here once a week for two years and I will forever be thankful to the former coworker who took me there the first time. I eat the banh mi most of the time but I have also tried a few of the specials and the pho is phantastic. Service is always great even when it's busy.
Their spring rolls and eggrolls are the best! The #4, #12, and their pork chops with white rice are sooo😋.OK GUYS THEY HAVE A NEW MENU, SO NOW C3 AND F2...didn't look for the pork chop plate today.💚
Words cannot describe the quality of food served in this establishment. I have been eating at this place for 21yrs and still cannot find a better Vietnamese restaurant. This is the cream of the crop when it comes to Vietnamese. I hope they never sell out because I will die a little inside. Cash only and remember you're manners. This place is divine for Vietnamese food.
Cash only but they accept Zelle. Great food, excellent spring rolls and banh xeo. Got take out but next time will definitely try the food in the restaurant! Parking is a bit odd and it is sort of hidden at the corner of 377 and Beach but it is worth it.
My oldest child is 24 years old and he was a toddler whe we first ate here. My wife and I miss Jimmy Ho's stories about leaving Vietnam. His mom was the kindest person ever. The food has always been good, hot and full of flavor. Best Vietnamese Restaurant.
I’ve been eating here for YEARS. Definitely over a decade. Food is amazing every single visit without fail. Egg rolls, shrimp spring rolls, pho, & pork w rice is top notch.
This is my favorite Pho restaurant ! Pho is excellent and great spring rolls ! This was actually my first pho experience ! Back when the Older Gentleman was running the show. Biggest portions and Best prices ! Not to mention the friendly staff !
Wonderful food the most authentic Vietnamese food I ever had fresh ingredients and very consistent I been going for 33 year's and the food keeps getting better and better
Food is always fresh and made-to-order! Been coming here for years, and I am a life long fan. 🥰 I get the #12 vermicelli pork or a bowl of delicious pho 🍲!! I have never been disappointed!
I’m a self-professed Vietnamese expert (grew up with Viet family). This place is legit. Service was very meh, but the food was definitely 10/10. Ask for the shrimp pho off-menu.
Have been going to Tu Hai's for at least 20 years... Saigon pancakes are our fave--but bon cha gao (fried spring roll on vermicelli) is wonderful, too. Spring rolls and peanut sauce just taste better here, for some reason. One of our neighborhood mainstays.
I love this place. My favorites are the Bird's Nest and the Pork and Vermicelli. Their spring rolls are the bomb as well. I like how the warm up the peanut butter sauce.
Sandwiches are outstanding. The Grilled Pork Spring Rolls were absolutely amazing as well. I am definitely adding this place to my lunch rotation.
Been coming here for roughly 6 years. This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Haltom City. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted and full with my meal! Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anybody.
We have been enjoying this family owned business sense 1986. We love the Pho, Saigon Pancakes, spring rolls Birdsnest. Great hole in the wall no frills place. We are definitely regulars there. Our daughter grew up with loving their food. Definitely recommend!!!!!
My family, friends, and I all love this place! Everything I've ever had is always fresh, delicious, and consistent. When I'm in the mood for great Vietnamese food, I'll drive past several places to come here. Sometimes I even go in twice in one week. I guess that's why they already know me and ask "Your usual?" when I come in. Great people, great food. I highly recommend!
My first taste of Vietnamese food was at Tu Hai nearly 25 years ago. Pho became my favorite food in the world and Tu Hai serves the best I've ever had. The rest of the menu is outstanding, as well. I've never had anyone tell me they've been disappointed. Family owned and operated in a not-so-fancy location. Cash only. Do yourself a favor and check it out.
Why have I never left a review here before? I've been eating here since I was a child. I don't know if Tim still works here but y family and I knew him well. Best food hands down with the best prices. I live 2 hrs away and still crave their food. Will be returning soon. Love yall.
Love the Spring rolls here!! 💙 The rest of the food is awesome also and the people are friendly. I've been coming here since 97 when I discovered it with my mother-in-law. They just redid the inside and it looks more modern 😊 Only thing is it's cash only.
Love this place. Been going here since I was a young kid. If you want their subs you better get there early (well before 5pm) waitresses can be a little rude but the owner/manager Tin makes up for it, such a great guy. For starters try their spring rolls or egg rolls.
The #19 is great! Don't leave without trying their egg rolls or dipping your spring rolls in the peanut sauce. Everything is great especially their fresh squeezed orange juice ❤
Stopped here for a bite on the way from DFW to Fort Worth at the suggestion of friends. It's a cash-only hole-in-the-wall in a little strip mall with little decorative flair, but if you want excellent vietnamese food at a good price, this is an amazing place. The spring rolls were crispy and delicious (I don't think I'd ever eat here without an order.) The pho had a depth of flavor that you rarely taste, and the Bahn Mi with crispy pork was tasty.
Very delicious Vietnamese food. I highly recommend the number 19 and The Spring Rolls and The Fried Spring delicious and order The Combo Pho Sam our waitress was very and kept our glasses full Will be back very soon! 😎👍🏼
This place is so good. Lowkey and fast.
Had a Saigon pancake and a banh mi, both delicious! Good prices and portions, definitely will eat here again
I love them and they food I been going here over 10+years they always did me right
My favorite Vietnamese restaurant ever! My family and I are regulars to the point they know our order. Everything I’ve tried is great, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.
great Vietnamese restaurant in Haltom City. great fresh ingredients that won't burn a hole in the pocket. very casual
Always amazing flavor with every bite
If you want authentic vietnamese food, this place is a must try. Cash/zelle only, but it's worth it.

I have been eating here for 20 years. All way’s quality food delicious pho.
The food was great and priced well. The waitresses were very kind and helpful! 12/10 recommend
Highly recommended been coming here for years. Can't really go wrong with any of their dishes. Pho and spring rolls are a must.
I never knew this place was here driving by it for 8 years! I did a take out order by looking on Google. Even with navigation, I had a hard time finding this place. I think because their sign is up higher than the other store signs on the building, I suggest adding a sign to match the other store if you all need more customers. I laughed once I realized it's there. My food was ready once I got there. The employee was so nice that she offered to take my food to the car because I have a disability. Pho - chicken and veggie were amazing! The broth was delicious. The best noodles!!! And excellent verity of veggies. Spring roll - was delicious! Fried rice with chicken was good. I forgot to add spicy level if that's an option It definitely is my new favorite pho. I'll be back!
Been eating here for over 20 yrs now, consistently good.
Been there since the 80’s the best in town

I had the egg noodle soup with wonton and it was really good! I'm only rating 4 stars because the decor is very bland and you feel like your in a cinderblock, but aside from that the food is good and I'm excited to try more in the future!
We ordered take out. The fried rice was very dry and chicken in the fried rice had burnt tips. The pork in the pork spring rolls was hard and looked and tasted like bacon. The pork in the Bun was similar. The shrimp spring rolls were decent. For the quality and price we were a bit disappointed...
The food is okay, the fried rice had some crunchy pieces in it like it wasn’t cooked all the way. The egg rolls weren’t my favorite. The shrimp was pretty good and seemed fresh. The hot sauce was good too. The service was decent. They were nice, they just didn’t check on us to see if we needed another drink or anything once we got our food. I’m not really interested in going back but it’s not horrible.
2024: What happened to the good customer service and clean restaurant? It was really bad. Food was still good though. I guess it is best to just get it togo next time. Do better. 2022: Luv this place! I've been coming here for years. My favorites are the grilled pork, lemongrass chicken, and of course the spring rolls.
The food is good. The service is questionable at best. Also, although there are no notices posted..it's cash only.

The pho we got was the beef. The juice/broth is not as good as places we have been like pho 95 in Arlington or the new favorite Pho Big Bowl in Watauga. There was less meat in the pho 🍜 than there is at the other two places I just mentioned. We only tried this place due to Pho Big Bowl being closed on Tuesdays (We normally eat Pho on weekends). The walls had food all over them by the tables edge and the bathroom was nasty also. Someone needs to clean… sheesh… the last who took our order and my money at the register was not friendly at all. Save your money and visit Big Bowl Pho in Wataga. Hands down a higher level of flavor and skill and care…..
Food is ok but they don’t accept credit cards, which is very inconvenient. They don’t care customers’ convenience to save some money. I don’t like that.
We went here for lunch and we're really excited because they had 4.7 stars on Google. We ordered off the specials board, beef and shrimp with vegetables over steamed rice and a recommended chicken and rice for my nephew. There were about two cups of sticky rice on my plate with a total of three shrimp, about four pieces of thinly cut beef, some baby carrots, and a fair amount of broccoli in a brown sauce. I would be fine with small portions of protein if the sauce was good, but it was bland. My mom and I ordered the same dish but mine didn't have any carrots and hers did, it was basically broccoli with a brown sauce and rice. My nephew is a picky eater, so I didn't initially believe him when he said the sauce tasted like gravy, so I tasted it; he was right, it tasted like a bland, slightly sweet and slimy gravy. The egg rolls were burned and there were giant slices of onion in them so some bites tasted like an over cooked onion ring. I was very disappointed and would not recommend this restaurant.
I have been coming here for 5 years and I absolutely loved it. They had the best PHO in town. I now live out of state but and everytime we can it's the first place we hit. Last November of 2017 was the last good Pho I had. Came back in February and it tasted different but I still came today. I normally have the #37 or a Pho. So today I wanted both. Let me just say that I was very disappointed. My #37 was always the first to come out, it took 3 mins to make today. That's when I knew something was wrong. It's takes longer to cook from what I was told before. My shrimp and pork was hard not fresh like before. Sadly today it was the first one dish out. I remember the other manager had great services, cared about his guest made convo with you. Now the place looks lonely. I need my old manager back with the great Pho I loved... I drove all the way from Florida just to get Pho! It's sad to see a great restaurant go down hill. Why change something when it was great the way it was.
My friend explained to them that she was allergic to shell fish, but they put shimp in the springroll anyway. When we informed the management they were rude. My food was bland...no flavor. Infact, I could not finish my meal for it was so bad.
Worst grilled pork vermicelli I have ever had in my entire life. They're called 'grilled' for a reason! This place cooks the food by frying the pork until it gets too dried but still put on the menu "GRILLED". My partner used to go to this place for the longest time. However, the new owner doesn't know how to take care of customer service. I would just drive like one more minute to get to My Lan for fantastic food and greetings from the owner all the time. If I could give zero star. I would have. Terrible.
The food was just okay. Nothing that would make me necessary return. But what totally killed it for me was the fact that the only ways to pay were Zelle, Venmo or cash. We were like huh? Wait… what? And we’d only found that out after we ate and were at the register to pay. Another thing that was annoying was our waitress didn’t seem to ever pick up her feet. She literally shuffled her way around the restaurant and the sound was completely agonizing. Needless to say, I’ll never go back.
1. The restaurant owner is very sneaky and dishonest. They added some extra money on your order WITHOUT telling you. I questioned the price and they told me the menu is outdated and they used the new price. But they didn’t tell you in the first place. (they replied it’s inflation. Why you don’t print out the new menu?? OR just tell me in the first place???) 2. The portion is very small. Even if the large size is like the small/ medium size. I’ve been to so many Vietnamese restaurants and this is the worst one. 3. Bad Service. Waiter won’t even ask “Do you need anything?”

I am sure the locals have their favorite places but bc I drove from Dallas and not a local it wasn’t mine. Food was mediocre and the large was a small in my opinion. Server almost spilt pho on me but ended up on herself. The place takes cash, Venmo or Zelle. Come prepared- thank goodness I actually had some cash on me. We were a party of 4 and no one was impressed. You may feel differently so still give it a try.
