Remarkably tasty dishes served in beautiful dishes and arrangements. The service was quick and courteous! Gilson was friendly, calm, and professional and addressed very well our questions and comments. When we come back to Hamilton, we'll definitely eat at the Royal India Grill again.

Had a wonderful dinner here on Tuesday 3/24, Gilson was working that evening. He made sure my dinner was perfect from start to finish. I’ve been dining here since 2015, and it’s always a great experience. Highly recommend for dining in and take out for lunch and dinner.

The food is ALWAYS hot, fresh and delicious! I I love their expanded menu and their expanded hours!! Going to come back and try the buffet. Gilson is a delight--excellent customer service; he keeps everyone happy and keeps things moving. There used to be a long, LONG wait for food but things are much better organized now -- your food is ready when promised even when they are busy.

Terrific chicken chettinad and lamb vindaloo with garlic naan. Restaurant is simple, staff friendly and efficient. Will definitely return.

Ended up here because everything else in Hamilton was closed between Christmas and New Year. We were so glad it was open, and the food was delicious! There were 4 of us, each ordered something different, and everyone devoured their meal. Highly recommend!

There's nothing but good things to say about these guys. Their curry is nice and spicy. They have a great range of appetizers. Noah, Yish, and the rest of the guys on staff make it memorable in the best ways. Oh, and try the mango-banana smoothie: you will not regret it.

They were just so nice and accommodating to our four year old son - it was his first time eating Indian food... the waiter was patient and kind to him and chatted with him throughout dinner! Wonderful staff!

The only authentic Indian restaurant between binghamton and utica. Diverse menu for people with food restrictions. A section on menu for vegetarian/vegan. The dine in service has always been quick/reasonable amount of time from when you order. Makhani chicken is the best I've had in my limited experience with Indian food. Not big on mango but the mango drink is really good. Heavy, but good. Entrees fall into that $12-$18 range. Apps are mostly well under $10 The only "warning" is parking. Something out of their control. It's all street side and it's at the main intersection of a busy little college town. You may need to park across the street and cross a busy road to get there.

Excellent 👌 we arrived just after a large group of people and the restaurant was very busy. The waiters kept their cool and quickly seated and served us. Obviously they are great or it wouldn't have been so packed. We started off with my favorite pakora moves on to chicken and eggplant dishes. There is no alcohol but it was a really good choice for healthy and vegetarian foods.

We had a vegetarian lunch on a Saturday with Sag Paneer and Navratan Korma with rice and Naan bread. We loved it! (we love Indian food). Everything was very fresh and tasty, served at a good temperature, nice and hot. The spice level at "mild" is still a bit 'hot' so unless you are a fan of hot spice, I would stick with mild.

Delicious food! We had the chicken tiki masala and the kofta curry. The kofta was so nice and had such a great texture, and the sauce was perfectly spiced even at mild. Not too spicy though! The tiki masala was lovely and filling. You can feed two people on one dish, or have leftovers for lunch tomorrow ;) The service was very good too, only one person working front of house but she is attentive and friendly! Highly recommend.

Tonight's meal with friends of goat curry, saag paneer and navratan korma (mixed vegetables in a creamy sauce) was excellent and their specialty chilli chicken was just what we needed. Highly recommend for satisfying comfort food, whether for dining in or take away.

Delicious food! We had the chicken tiki masala and the kofta curry. The kofta was so nice and had such a great texture, and the sauce was perfectly spiced even at mild. Not too spicy though! The tiki masala was lovely and filling. You can feed two people on one dish, or have leftovers for lunch tomorrow ;) The service was very good too, only one person working front of house but she is attentive and friendly! Highly recommend.

I ordered chicken korma because the menu lists dark chicken meat. It was chicken breast instead.

Great restaurant with fantastic service! You know it's going to be a good night's meal when you see a constant stream of take out orders going out there door while your seated. The menu has a good selection of staples as well as some unique dishes for anyone from beginning to long time Indian food enjoyer! The decor is simple yet comfortable, and parking is super easy as it is in walking distance from anywhere.

I really love the food. My bf sadly had a beard hair in his food and lost his appetite. But the waiter was very nice and didn't charge him. He seemed sincerely sorry.

Went here a few times. They have really good flavorful food and have pretty good service. However, be careful because if you have a weak stomach, you will be on the toilet for hours after.

Pretty sure I didn't get one of the plates I ordered, however even the wrong dish was okay. Service is friendly but their English is a bit hard to follow.

Food was better than expected, but our whole night was ruined by the payment experience. They have this enormous QR code taking up most of the receipt to encourage you to use Apple Pay, which we did. They then chased us after us into the street saying we hadn't paid. It was very uncomfortable and embarrassing. My partner showed that he had paid on his phone, but they still seemed doubtful. If they don't want to accept that payment method they shouldn't display it prominently. Very uncomfortable experience, it left us upset for the rest of the evening and I woke up in the middle of the night to leave this review. Not sure if we'll return, even for the tasty food.

Went back after a long stay away. Food was on point this time per a recommendation. Recently though disappointing that hours are not as posted nor product that brought us back available. Service and atmosphere still suspect.

Food was alright, but most dishes are a few dollars higher than what is listed on their website and you aren't warned until you come in to pay, after the food is made. This really adds up when ordering and picking up food for the whole family. They need to adjust their prices online. This has been complained about multiple times and at this point their refusal to update their website or warn customers about the price change when they call in an order feels like fraud.

Mango lassi drink was way too sweet for how it should be. Avoid unless you want diabetes.

Deleted a previous 5 star and putting the 1 because we just ordered for pickup almost $100 worth of food and unfortunately didnt check the bag. We paid in cash because it is the thing now where a business charges you extra to use a card. So, now they cant just refund the card for the missing meal.. It is a 30 min drive one way btw.. so 2 hours drive time for dinner because of their mistake and we know how much gas is right now. Of course our mistake for not checking the bag and going back again for the missing food. Big waste of time and gas.

Diners beware! If you are ordering takeout from this restaurant, the prices listed on the menu are not accurate. They charge more. In fact, we paid about 20% more than expected. I've called after noticing the discrepancy to find out they already know about it. Fraud? Scam? I think so.

We stopped for lunch. 10/1/2021. All they had was take out. There other places in Utica and DeWitt are open and running there buffet. Very disappointed.

I have ordered a lamb rogan josh and chicken Soup. The taste was bland even though i asked for little spicy. It seems that they serve served me a ready to eat stuff from the retail shelf. The soup and lamb rogan josh was not freshly prepared. So please avoid this place for Indian food.
