Opinions de LaZeez Pita Grill Harbor City
SO GOOD! I ordered the beef and chicken kababs, and everything was absolutely delicious. I especially loved the creamy hummus and the tender, perfectly seasoned meat. The beef and chicken were full of flavor with a mouthwatering charbroiled finish. Let’s not forget the rice — it brought the whole meal together and was so good too! I also tried the berry slushy, recommended by the cashier, GREAT recommendation! It was refreshing and delicious. Lazeez Grill & Bakery is a must try! I’m already looking forward to enjoying this amazing Mediterranean cuisine again soon.
The atmosphere was rather quiet and enjoyable. The food prices are ok if you're single. IN MY OPINION, you don't get your bang-for-your-buck here (I know everything is expensive everywhere so don't bash me😬).The total was almost $30 for one meal, including a 1.99 can drink. I've been to other mediterranean restaurants where the portions are proportionate to price. 😬 If you are a family with children and is on a budget but want to eat out, then L & L is the best option as $40 can get you two full plates and add a drink for $1 (depending if they have that promo). And lastly, this is the first restaurant I've eaten in where hummus isn't included in the meal and rather, serve it as an option to choose from. I'd probably eat there again as the food is delicious but not anytime soon.
Ordered the chicken kebab plate with spicy potatoes and grilled vegetables and it was bursting with flavor! It definitely has a unique taste compared to most medditteran style food. And the beef shwarma pizza... let me tell you what... WAS A STRAIGHT BANGER! Get extra garlic sauce to dip it in and you'll flalalyyyy to heaven with the first bite. The owner also gave slice samples of their new vegetarian pizza and it made me want to go vegan. You can taste each vegetable and wasn't overpowered by the sauce. Restaurant is very clean and the decoration makes you feel like you're in another country. This family owned business is very passionate with making their food taste good with all sorts of unique spices so give this spot a try! You won't regret it ;)
Yummy new Mediterranean restaurant in the South Bay. Plenty of free self parking. The restaurant is clean, well defeated with plenty of indoor seating. It's a true family owned/ run restaurant. They're very warm and hospitable. The menu above the counter offers plenty of choices. The beef kuftah and chicken shawarma were both very good. Portions are generous. Prices are reasonable for this level of food quality. Strongly recommend. Will be returning.
Lazeez Grill serves up some of the best Meditteranean food around. It's fresh, flavorful, and authentically prepared. The beef Kafta is full flavor and generous portion. The hummus is top notch, smooth and creamy. The grilled veggies are amazing. This is a family-owned and operated, very casual restaurant. You order at the counter and they will bring your order to the table. All are made to order. My takeout order was still hot when I hot home. The cashier up front need more training in customer service. He look unapproachable and cold and unwelcome. Prices is worth it comparable to the amount of food. Looking forward to coming back and trying other items.
We went when they first opened around 10:30ish for an early lunch. We were kindly greeted by the cashier, ordering was quick, easy, and the food came out within 20 min. Got the small chicken shawarma plate with spicy potatoes and garlic sauce. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and plentiful! The pita was warm - I can eat heaps of pita and the garlic sauce alone! Looking forward to coming back to try more!
The best food in Torrens. Any Arab in Torrens should go and try the Middle Eastern food, it's very good, just like in Oman.
The food and portions were good, the wait was a little longer than I preferred but there was a slight rush when we got there so no biggie. I will definitely come back!
Truly amazing amazing food , I took a photo of the one item I couldn’t finish , the cheese with zager and cheese with eggs was the best I ever had , I went for breakfast and can’t wait to go back and try dinner . Highly recommended
The staff are sooo friendly and the food was amazing! I am from Ohio so I am so excited to fly back to SoCal to come here again.
Good food we took chicken shawarma it's really good. Highly recommend to Mediterranean food
The food was great. The cheese and zatar manoushe flat bread was my favorite. I wanted to go back the next day but my wife wouldn’t let me.
It’s open now! This IS a re-opening from the same owner that used to be in Torrance. Some of the best Middle Eastern you’ll find in SoCal. Everything has an explosion of flavors. This review comes with a 100% guarantee that if you try it once - you will become a regular.
Perfect Persian Food... Just Go. You will love it. The establishment takes Pride in the Food.

After eating the bread with cheese and beef on a Shawarma bread like a pizza I don’t wanna order pizza anywhere else no more I’d rather come here. The food is beautiful the plates and the meat. Everything was cooked to perfection. I am now gonna make this my restaurant.
It's got a great vibe, comfy seating, and it's clean. They have tons of Mediterranean stuff, and the staff is awesome. The price is a bit much, but the food was good. I got the beef plate and chicken kebab plate. The beef was okay, a little dry, but the rice was good. The portions are okay, and they give you two pita breads. The chicken kebab was amazing, seriously one of the best I've ever had. This place could be amazing if they just dropped the prices a bit and sped up the service.

The food is fine, tasty enough but it was quite oily, especially the rice. I would say hummus was the highlight of our meal, not main dishes. Overall, the food here was fine but pricey, not really healthy as it said.

I ordered the beef shawarma with rice and hummus. I also asked for the cucumber on the side. I was thinking it would be a fresh cucumber salad but instead it was pickles, which I dislike. I never heard of pickles being in Mediterranean food. The rice was bland, no flavor and the meat was dry without flavor. I would only say the hummus was pretty good.
I went to Lazeez yesterday and ordered three chicken shawarma wraps. One was a combo with fries specifically for my 3-year-old toddler, and the other two were just wraps. I paid a total of $54 for the order, but I wasn't even given a receipt. On top of that, the fries were as hard as stones forget a child, even an adult couldn't eat them. it looked like they had taken old fries and re-fried them.

Had two shawarma’s one steak and the other chicken, both were very dry without much flavor. Combo was $20 plus dollars… we didn’t finish the wraps they were that bad…
New place opened so I took my family to try out this place. We ordered two shawarmas and waited over 30 minutes but our number was not getting called. But I saw people coming in ordering after I did and they receive their order before me. I went to the counter and two little kids were working at the counter. I asked what happened with my order and the older kid checked. He talked to them and said it’s going to take a few minutes. Waiting again 10 minutes my number is not called. So I went back and asked for a refund and cancelled my order. The older kid went and told them I need my refund. And another gentleman came from the kitchen he telling me he will make my order. So I refused and got my money and left the store.very unprofessional service. Very disappointed. As a new business that is the worst service they ever provided as a new business. Never going back for sure.
