10/10. Great fresh food! A little more on the pricy side but it was very delicious!

Best takeout Mexican food in the US. Take your time and get your bowl or burrito just the way you want it. Initially, I succumbed to the rush and was not happy with the results. If you don't want 70% of your dish to be rice ask them for a 1/2 spoon.

I have been here twice since I am not from the area but this was the first Chipotle I tried. Having Celiac I had read a post where they are a good option for people with Celiac. Went into their website about gluten free options and how they handle this. Both times that I went in I let them know I had Celiac, the first time the manager asked me what I would like, they would be getting my items from a fresh batch that had not been taken out yet. The second time the girl taking my order immediately called the manager who did the same thing the other manager from my previous visit. Only wish McAllen was this knowledgeable about what their website says, only the first time in McAllen did the manager do the same thing as Harlingen, subsequent visits went downhill all different managers.

This chipotle location never fails me. My daughter has an obsession with chipotle so we tend to frequent it a lot, even when we travel, but the Harlingen location is definitely the best. The food is always good, and the employees are some of the best and always go above and beyond.

I always get chipotle as a pickup option. The food is delicious and well made. One thing they could do better is to always have the order on the shelf where we are supposed to pick it up from because sometimes you have to ask the worker to give you the order cause they have it on the back.

The food was delicious, hot, and fresh! The staff was friendly and helpful, knowledgeable & ready to answer my questions. The restaurant was clean and efficient; I didn't have to wait, even though the parking lot was full! Even my Little Guys enjoyed building their own plate. I was impressed to notice that their plates even had separate little compartments for their food! Perfect!

While we had a great experience here while we were in line we noticed several people that had to come back because of errors with their food or transaction. Also while we were eating another came back with a problem. Just something to be mindful of if you order from here! They were always very helpful and fixed the problem without fuss, but I can imagine it would be frustrating! Good food though!!

Loved my experience at this chipotle! Service was excellent and quick. I was greeted and helped by Heidi when I went in to pick up some dinner today. She greeted me and helped me decide what I wanted to eat(which can be tough when you’re hungry and want everything lol). Very sweet and professional young lady!! Will definitely be back:))

Food tastes fresh. It looks great too. Never thought of it before but seeing someone chopping the food up right behind where it's served adds to the feeling of quality and freshness. Really enjoy ordering through the app and just walking in to pick it up. The specialty bowls are an awesome touch. Having a preset keto option is great.

Can't go wrong with full scoop white and brown rice, full scoop black and pinto beans, half steak and brisket (or what special meat of the season) some veggies, lettuce and finally sour cream bowl ugh! Best 😄

Chipotle goes beyond the point of satisfying your taste buds. The best food is the bowl with carnitas. They offer fast and good quality service to their customers that goes unnoticed. They have a great team that you can see while ordering that they work together to get the job done fast and right. This place is a must go even if it’s just to try it out once.

Haven't eaten at Chipotle in 17 years, took my kids and we have been missing out! The cilantro lime rice is so good! I got the carnitas with melted queso, corn, pinto beans, shredded cheese, sour cream, and pico de gallo!

It's a Chipotle so you know what you're getting food wise. For places like this you gotta review the people. They were fantastic! Definitely a nice group of people who work there and make sure you got everything you asked for. Also, if you haven't tried Chipotle, try Chipotle.

Trash cans were full, tables with dirty and there's no ice. Go buy ice.

We usually go here every week 1-2 times a week and it’s always good. But tonight there was a young lady that was so nice and genuine as soon as we walked in. Usually don’t post reviews but then she did the sweetest gesture of adding a comment which was so helpful as the bowls were going different places (didn’t notice until we stopped at first location).

The chipotle here is much better than the one in Brownsville. Here in Harlingen they actually serve the portion they’re supposed to. The Brownsville location barely serves anything on their bowls and that location is also very dirty. Here is a comparison of a bowl from Harlingen and Brownsville.

I had a really good Chipotle experience today! Staff was quick with great customer service. While my burrito was being made, they even re-wrapped it so that it wouldn't tear apart on me, completely of their own accord. Food was great, pork was really tender. When my wife needed to box up her bowl to take home, they quickly helped and gave us a bag to place it in. This is a good Chipotle.

Food is good and consistent with every other chipotle. The bag of chips is consistent with other chipotles as well meaning they’re usually half stale. This location gets really busy but the staff handles is fast, courteously and efficiently! Best part is that the patio is dog friendly!

Food is great, if you've been to a Chipotle and liked their stuff this will be no different. It's a brand new restaurant so everything is clean and nice. The lines can get long but I see this with a lot of new places to eat. Definitely recommend it.

Food is great, we order online and it was made on time! The only bad thing is that we found something inside the food (not a big issue) it was like a small piece of plastic or yarn. Se call them and the process of the complaint is tedious and takes a lot of time.

Good food at a decent price. One bowl is enough for two people to share. Staff is quick and friendly some time the place can be a bit overcrowded. I wish the place was a little bigger along with the parking lot. I come here at least once a month.

The food was really good. You make your own combination of sides and meats either in a bowl or burrito. The only bad was that the place is kind of small, and it's popular, so it gets a little crowded. Other than that, a good place to eat

I was there at dinner time and they were out of steak. I switched my order to a chicken burrito and a carnitas bowel. We ordered the guac and chips. The chips were stale. They were out of the beginning mix, they had just put it on the grill, so no veggies. What I did eat was good. And the people were nice.

The food was amazing and given that it was delivered by Door Dash, the items were at a good heated temperature nonetheless. The time frame it took from placing a mobile order to having it delivered was also very fast considering I’ve tried other delivery services. Chipotle also substituted guacamole for the queso I had ordered because they were out of it. I guess if you don’t like guacamole, that could be an issue. Overall, meal was great.

It is what it is. Chipotle is definitely it. However, there are a few drawbacks. First of all, the staff is coated for its portions. However, its location leaves us wanting more. Parking is very small as is their dine in area. Luckily, I like to eat at home. When you order you don't even have to speak with the staff. Just grab your bag and go. If you want to dine in, space is limited.

The food is great but my mom did find a Hair in her food.they need to be wearing hair nets. And saw 6 employees Sitting at a table talking when their was a line of people waiting and only 2 employees working

I love Chipotle, if you get in line then you get your food fairly quickly. I ordered online at 5:20pm and the app stated would be ready at 5:45. 6:00 past and I was still waiting behind maybe 4 or 5 orders. They have 2 people working the online orders and a whole staff for those who walk in. What's the point of ordering online if I could have walked in and left with my food quicker. I saw several people walking in and out with their food while I had to wait with several others also waiting for their order probably also regretting the online option. They got a good routine for those who order inside... can't say that about the online side. Hope to see a change come for that one day. Sad to see a receipt say promised at 5:45 and it was 6:10 when I was handed my bag. UPDATE: Wow it's changed so much since this review, I don't know if it's because of the new pay rate but wow the presentation and their online order side of things has really improved. The food looks amazing and my order was on the shelf. They charge a bit more, but looks like the dips and salsa's are put into larger containers and idk if it's to compensate for the pay raises but I'm digging this. Not sure if they just ran out of their usual containers but I could get used to this. So happy to see this location is rocking at the service, it's why I keep coming back.

We came to the nearest Chipotle in South Texas. It got packed within minutes, and it's crazy how they only have 1 person serving. The way I see it is why not have 2 ppl so the line can go by quickly. It took me 30-45 minutes just to get my food. When I finally did, my chips were so stale. They exchanged them for me without hesitation, but u could tell all they were a day old at least. All the tables were dirty. They dnt have no one on the floor, making sure it's clean and fully stocked of the drink area. Never again....next time I prefer to drive to McAllen.

The dining area was trashed. All the empty tables were dirty and food over the floor. The entrance door was filthy with finger print marks. Mens restroom was clean.

I felt like a rookie was rolling my burrito into a softball. Even after I asked for a re-roll, I was given an attitude like, "This is how we do it here." The place was cleaner than the time we were there. I'll try again and roll it myself.

As much as I would like to enjoy eating here, it's crazy expensive. Smallest burrito for $13.00 not even getting a drink. For two more bucks and I can have a steak, rolls and a drink at texas road house.

When there is a rush, there is poor communication from employees to customers, and customers wait long periods of time just to be told that little to no protein options are available. Very poor management, and always understaffed.

This location needs to get it together. Food was cold and bland won't try this location again.

2 stars for good service. The food was absolutely horrible. The rice and beans were undercooked. The meat was tough and the grilled vegetables were crunchy. They put so much guacamole on my burrito that I couldn't taste anything else and even that had a horrible taste.

Server was taking way too long during servings, should be more efficient. Looks like they might be short on staff but still the line was too long.

I placed an order for delivery my total was $32.00 with some change. The order was placed through the app, it was placed at 11:50 and delivery confirmed at 12:21. However, my order was never delivered and I never received it. According to the team member via the online chat, my order never got processed. I also called the store x5 with no answer. I called from 3 different devices, so it was not my device. This is not the first time either. There was another incident where they said they would “refund” my money within 7-10 business days because they were out of a certain product and never did. It took them 21 days to get resolved, and only because I went in person to complain. Although I have a good experience dining in, my experiences for delivery or carry out are not.

I love chipotle, but this last time I ordered light lettuce and the whole bottom half of my burrito was nothing but lettuce very disappointed.

The food was great. Service was so so, the guy serving was like hurry up what else? with his attitude and there was no one behind me. It wasn't like if I was too long, I was only deciding what to take. Once I got my order, didnt look, but no napkins, fork nor spoon. How tha hell was I suppose to eat it?? Luckily I had a fork at work. BAD SERVICE !

Not impressed. Told the girl it was my first time here, no recommendations, super dry attitude. Food was not good, restrooms were closed. And to top it off, I got sick from my stomach. Never again.

Great food. Service is hit or miss depending on who’s working. The employee turnover is high so there’s that. If you use the app for speed and efficiency don’t bother. Don’t expect a apology either. They will hurriedly make your food and offer you a small beverage as compensation for your wasted time. Again it’s fast food so double edged sword.

I just ordered a burrito, I walk in and there’s a tiny bit ifs teak left, no chicken, no sour cream, absolutely nothing made. I get 3 tiny pieces of steak and they say there won’t be anymore ready until the cook finishes eating (he’s sitting in the dining area just eating) they charged me for a full burrito and I got 2 tiny pieces of steak and couldn’t even get the condiments I wanted. 0/10.

No consistency in their servings or charging. One day my to go orders side container is nicely filled, next day same order and it’s less than a quarter filled. Same goes with charging.. same order one day $8 and some change, next day $10 and some change. Where is the consistency? They will charge you $5 if you ask for your kids protein to be placed on the side in their kids order. It’s either in the tortilla with the cheese or $5 to place it on the side, like wth? Chipotle is a mess came in they were out of everything. Every table was dirty floor was dirty. Trash was over filled drink area was disgusting. Saw atleast 5 couples leave because they were out of everything. And service was ridiculous.

First of all there was no protein every was out of stock had to wait 30 min of you wanted soothing other then barbacoba.... Paid 19.00 for my food that wasn't that great rice was so hard. Overpriced! $61 for a bowl and 2 burritos They charge extra too for everything! I have never eaten at a Chipotle and never will again! Couldn’t believe it when the cashier told me $61. Horrible! Beans and rice for $61 - terrible!

I paid $24 for 2 veggies bowls. I was so disappointed to see only half a bowl. Greedy with veggies. I didn't even get meat. Come on people stop holding back. We pay good money for a better deal.

Employees were very nice, but I just couldn't overlook the fact that the place was absolutely filthy. I had never been to a chipotle before, so it wasn't a very good impression. I also tried out their "fresh lemonade," but it tasted very little like lemonade and more like water and dirty sponge. The food was okay, a bit over salted, but that might just be cause my salt preferences are different.We ended up leaving pretty quickly because, again, I just couldn't overlook how filthy it was. I honestly think that $40(2 of us,one burrito, tacos, 2 drinks) was overpriced for the state this place was in.

Your automated phone service is AWFUL! All I wanted to do was speak with a team member about my order as I believed it was prepared wrong and all I could do was get the run-around by the automated system.

just came in to get my food after my shift and all the workers were rude. i work in customer service so i know it’s tiring to serve so many people every day, but i always smile and always tip because i love the food and i get it. genuinely hate coming because the workers are always rude. i just asked for vinaigrette and the employee, tall man with glasses and scruffy beard rolled his eyes as he went to go get it, i said thank you and he shoved it to me and didn’t even acknowledge me. coming from a barista, that was disappointing and probably won’t habitually tip those that are rude.

Had a terrible experience at this Chipotle. The manager, wearing harsh pink makeup, snapped at me and created an extremely tense atmosphere. She kept going to the back, then returning with snarky, unprofessional remarks. Totally unacceptable behavior from someone in charge.

First of all, they are very stingy with the scoops, that make the burrito seem small for $15. Second of all, this was my first time going and was greatly disappointed in the atmosphere and food. Despite the stingy scoops after i paid and got into my car to eat and the tortilla was very cold. For $15 i expected more instead all i got was disappointment. I cant even ask for a refund. Nevertheless i won’t come here again. The food wasn’t fresh and all i got was sour cream and rice.

Worst take out order, rice was on one side of the bowl, your selling the rice by the grain or what.The other guy was covering the whole bowl with lettuce and sour cream. They definitely lost a customer now 2.75 for guacamole for a small scoop that’s ridiculous.

This place is very expensive bought 2 burritos for $27.00 what a ripoff. The chicken was not ready and the server put the wrong meat on 1 of the burritos. Both burritos were very small and not enough meat. My husband could count the pieces of meat with one hand, 5 small pieces. The barbacoa was hard and dry. This order caused a verbal fight between my husband and I, becuz he was so hungry that small burrito was like 6 inches long. He said i have gotten bigger burritos in the past and he always checks the portions they are putting. I am not going back anytime soon.

It seems like this location is stingy with its portions. We had to pay extra for the rice and meat to fill the bowl. If we didn’t pay extra the bowl would have be pitiful. Also the chips were filled about 1/3 fill. The tables were also dirty. It’s sad to see this place go downhill.

I visited this location this afternoon with my daughter and had a incredibly frustrating experience. I asked for a bowl with no rice and offered to purchased a bag of chips so that I could create my own "nacho bowl." The cashier was unsure and went to the back to ask the General Manager if this was allowed. The GM's response was a flat "no." What made it worse was that the Manager didn't even have the courtesy to come to the front to explain the policy or offer an apology. He simply sent the message through the cashier and stayed in the back. It is disappointing that a "build-your-own" establishment would be so rigid about a simple request, especially when I was paying for all the components separately. To be dismissed by management without a face-to-face explanation while dining with my daughter was the tipping point. I will be taking my business elsewhere where customer service is actually a priority

No stars. Order was wrong from the very beginning. The rice tasted like it had sat out all day. The black beans tasted burnt & the tortillas were stale & hard when they were supposed to be soft. Never will return to this location. Also pretty rude staff when they were called out in regards to their mistakes. I'd probably learn how to conduct yourself in a business setting. ✌️

Yesterday I had the worst meal I have ever had in Harlingen, Texas! I should’ve turned around when I saw what was being offered behind the counter. Food was mixed in other food containers. In other words there was beef in the rice serving tray, there was beans mixed in with other vegetables. There was vegetables mixed in with the beans. It didn’t look appetizing at all. I ask about the price several times and never got a straight answer as I went down the line I was being offered all the different options, but I never did receive that answer to my question. How much is this? How much is that? When I got to the end of the line, the cashier said that my small bowl was almost $24. 00! I’M 75 YEARS OLD AND I CAN PROMISE YOU THAT I WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN CHIPOTLE RESTAURANT AGAIN! The food is terrible! It’s contaminated and I got sick before the evening! Go to Pepe’s restaurant. It is the best Mexican restaurant on the planet earth! Chipotle is a rip off and the food is terrible! Don’t believe the hype about this modern slop joint!

I had to take out all of the rice on my bowl because it felt as if I was biting on rocks. The white rice was raw you can see in the first picture. I keep going to chipotle because I used to love it but it keeps disappointing me and I thinks this will be my final to never come here again. Also I didn’t get a receipt, they give you a piece of paper of what you bought but not that you actually paid for it

Raw Tortilla on burritos. Over cooked chips and broken in pieces. Carne asada was gross and too hard to chew. 2 female servers that were HORRIBLY RUDE. These women should not be in the service industry. It Felt like we had personally angered them. Food was gross, chunks of fajita in our Queso Blanca. You can just tell the preparation was sloppy. Un-shredded chunks of cheese, brownish lettuce. everything tasted wrong for chipotle. We were so excited to eat here and unfortunately left very dissatisfied. $65 for junk and empty stomachs. They didn’t even have military discount, but had law enforcement discount. How insulting.

My family eats here twice a week. The last two times we visited Chipotle in Harlingen TX were awful. One of the bowls we ordered was all rice and a spit of meat, and the rice was hard. The crispy taco shells from another order were stale, and hardly any ingredients inside. The chips for the guacamole were also stale. It was 7:30 pm so it almost seems as though they were serving as little as possible so they wouldn’t have to make more and avoid working. If I could give them less than one star I would. For the price we pay, not worth the meals.
