I went today on my lunch❤️ They wore getting slammed lol in other words they wore really busy the manager handled it like a boss!!!! I use to go to the Church's on 13th Street but the quality of the food & services has gone down. The Church's on Tyler is great. Service was wonderful & the quality & portions much better. I WI be returning to the Church's on Tyler. It was a much better experience.

Best churches is the valley. They were all helpful. Best one in harlingen by far.

I used their coupon, but for some reason it wasn't recognizing in their system. So the manager just hooked me up around the same price, and same amount of food as the couple. Turned out to be better than the coupon. My food didn't take long neither, despite the drive thru being busy. Overall my experience here was awesome. Very good manager and stuff members here. Unfortunately, I don't live in the valley area. But, if I'm ever down here.... I most likely come back to this Church's. And Yes I recommend this Church's if you craving fired chicken.

Manager greeted us as soon as we walked in. He was also very professional and brought our food to the table. I have been to other churches restaurants and I have to complement them as the place was really clean. Keep up the good work.👍

OMG. Church's is the place to go for good old fashioned fried chicken. My parents used to bring family boxes of chicken when we were growing up. Nobody compares to their chicken. It's the best. It's finger licking good. And the corn on the cob is so good. I don't know where they get it, but it's the best corn I've ever tasted. I also love the jalapeno bombers. Delicious!

I was in town visiting my son and we were excited to see a Church’s Chicken. This place has top notch customer service you don’t usually experience anymore. Sandra was AWESOME! I’ll definitely return on my next visit.

I went through the drive through on Sunday, Aug. 24 9 PM, and accidentally gave the cashier, a young man named Joe, an extra $5 bill. He returned the money and let me know I had given him too much money for my order. I want to publicly thank Joe for his honesty and returning the $5 bill. It's not much but giving it back is. Thank you for your honesty Joe. Keep up the good work.

Always enjoy eating their tender stripes and trying their different dipping sauces, cold slow with a tall cold drink. You can never go wrong eating at Church's Fried Chicken and so affordable menu prices. 👍

Ok here it is Drum Roll...... I was actually surprised. I have had fried chicken from all over the USA to Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean and all over Texas lol But this Church's fried chicken has been the best. I had the Texas Grande meal half original and half spicy. Chicken was as tender as could be and juicy not greasy cooked just right The batter was also at its best crunchy but not hard. I will try this place again definately.

Georgina brought up their new hot sauce with such enthusiasm that it made me look forward to trying it. I tried it and ended up loving it. I hadn't picked up chicken from here in awhile. They'd gotten hit and miss with their chicken. We decided to try again and they've improved. Will try again.

The food is usually good; however, there is always a side that they don’t have, or isn’t ready. Staff is always nice though.

The fried chicken is very good, very crispy and moist on the inside. It's always delicious and the sides are great too. They have good biscuits and fried apple pies. I had given them a poor rating before due to flies on the windows and a dirty dining area( due to filthy customers which trash the places they go to) but they addressed the problems recently.

Chicken was great as always. Quick fast service. I think maybe employees should be more attentive to customers as they order instead of taking orders for drive thru and inside orders. Also, employees should keep their conversations a bit more quiet. Employees were talking about getting ready to clock out and head to the beach for spring break.

Good value. We used coupons, enabling us to try a few items we might not have ordered otherwise. Great service. Many of the tables were dirty, though. There also wasn't a caffeine free diet drink option.

I love the sides! Chicken is good too but don't forget honey for the biscuits unless you plan on apple pie for your dessert. Clean Dining area as well as restrooms. You fill your drink option adding as much ice in your cup as you see fit for the occasion

The chicken is always good but the sizes of the individual chicken pieces seems to have shrunk. Taste is great as usual. Drive through service is great but when you walk in to order, the clerks don't greet you like before or even acknowledge you. You have to interrupt then so they can take your order. The eating area is generally clean.

The manager started that they were out of lots of stuff, including spicy sprinkles, and plates. They gave us to go boxes in place of the plates.

Church Chicken is not what it use to be growing up. Chicken at times too much batter or refried and mixed up with other pieces that are nasty.

Waited about 20-25 min for our order. 3 star because I ordered baked mac n cheese and got mash potatos.

We spent well over $50.00 and the food was all to our request. The problem was the chicken it wasn't cooked properly, it was rubbery and it tasted like flour. Disgusting !!! The mashed potatoes and gravy, mac and cheese and biscuits were delicious. I love church's chicken but whoever made this batch of chicken needs to be taught not to take the chicken out before its done, unless they like under cooked chicken. Salmonella is what was served. Sorry but after spending that kind of money to feed my family and then only having to serve mashed potatoes and mac and cheese is not what I had in mind. Very dissatisfied!!! 😡👎 Please teach the employees to cook the chicken better or hire someone who knows how. It will be a long time before I return to church's or they take care of this matter.

Chicken was fresh and hot, but I did have to go back to get my correct order. When I got home I checked the contents and it was not what I had ordered. So I had to go back. They were great in remaking my entire order, plus they upsized my sides. The first time I went they were really busy and chaotic so I guess it is understandable that they messed it up. I gave it a 3 stars since it was still an inconvenience to have to go back. But chicken was hot and fresh though, like I stated at the beginning.

The food is good. I was able to order and did not have to wait for the chicken to be cooked.

Whatever happened to your chicken sandwiches? They suck now! You started out with a BANG with your sandwiches with Texas Pete sauce and seasoning. The sandwiches were big with a nice crispy chicken breast, it rivaled Popeye’s in my opinion. Not any more. I’ll never go back to Church’s you sacrificed quality for costs. Shame on you.

Church'S extra breaded chicken, is what it should be called. Goodness, so much breading , where's the chicken. Prices go up n chicken gets smaller. Then the issue of shrimp n chicken cooked in same oil! Wow!

Epic fail on the flaming megabites. They aren't even a tiny bit spicy and why are they served with bbq sauce??? Posting a pic of what they're supposed to look like and one of what they actually look like.

Chicken was ok, strips were terrible, batter had no flavor, and were under cooked. My fault for not checking order, the sides were wrong.

Got fried okra. Left and when I got home, I noticed that I got toasted okra. It was mostly extra toasted and slightly burned. I won't be going there anymore.

Everything is still good. The staff is excellent. But for the first time the chicken 🍗 pieces were smaller than usual and the side's portions were also smaller.

First time they don't fill request of all thighs. The manager said no. Half leg and half thighs. We always ask for it and order gets done. This manager is a lady who dissapointed me with service. It is dead inside store. Drive thru has a line. When we got here there were only 6 pieces of chicken cooked.

It's not the same anymore. Food was cold and tasted like it had been there for a while. I don't go as often as I used to because I've had horrible experiences lately. So sad. I wish it was like before where food was fresh and hot and tasted delicious. Now I never know what I'm going to get so I'd rather not go. 😥

I recently had a truly disappointing experience at Churches Chicken. The food was shockingly cold, as if it had been sitting out for an extended period. To add insult to injury, the service was painfully slow. The staff seemed completely disorganised, and the wait time was excessive. On top of that, my order was missing several items. I would strongly advise against visiting this location if you value hot food and efficient service.

Actually, I rate the Curches Chicken on Tyler Ave in Harlingen, TX a "0". Don't go there. The staff are all very rude and don't care about getting you you're order right and over charge you and get a bad attitude when you bring it to their attention. Also, never order their "So Called" baked mac'n cheese..I ordered a arge and got nothing but a container full of cheesy sauce...GROSS

If I could give ZERO stars i would. Every single time my family try to eat here they are out of chicken!!! Thats like going to a star bucks and them having no coffee!! So we went to KFC and in less than 5 mins got what we tried to order at Churchs. It was 4 dollars extra but it was worth it. I do not recommend this place.

Just spent 35 min at the drive thru waiting for my order. Which was a meal for one. They gave me my order wrong, such a waste of time & money.

Waited 20 minutes for my order only to watch as they gave the same thing i ordered to someone else that came in 10 minutes after I did. Not even an apology they even looked at the receipt to check the time and said nothing when they realized i was right.

Ordered only a mashed potatoes and got home without a spoon what am I supposed to eat it with my fingers. Or do they want to charge for one.

If I could leave ZERO stars I would. Up to almost 1.5 hour before closing. Turn customers away due to no longer making chicken after being told it will take 20 minutes to make. This is unacceptable. Whats the point of being open if your just going to turn customers away. This is very upsetting and frustrating as a customer. I will be reaching out to corporate regarding this ongoing issue. I'm not the type to complain but this is already too much.

Manager doesn’t know how to do her job and should be replaced with someone who knows what they’re doing. She got the order wrong after repeating it Multiple times and was still missing items from the order after. She got mad and claimed she didn’t hear anything of what we told her and when we wanted to get the items she said we were in the wrong for trying to receive the items.

Aside from the obvious cat infestation and the homeless people hanging around the area the service is nonexistent. We went thru the drive thru and we're told to park. We ended up waiting 40 minutes for our food. No one came out to apologize for the wait or tell us how much longer the food would be. They took so long the parking lot was starting to back up with cars waiting for their orders. After 40 mins I went inside only to find out the food had been sitting there the whole time no one had bothered to bring the food out. I was pissed. Never coming here again.

Not only are they super disrespectful but they have like a cat infestation there. And they sure exacerbate that problem by feeding cats. Don't believe me? go by, they are literally feeding cats outside and at night you can see dozens of cats around the dumpster. I wouldn't eat here, unsanitary. Anyway I never really complained but since they wanted to be so disrespectful to me I'm complaining . I ate at the one off the loop before and ended up bed ridden for 3 days because of how sick I got so I basically don't even eat Church's chicken in Harlingen anymore. They have no standards like they really don't.

I met friends there. They had chicken and fries. I only had an apple pie but here are my observations: The person at the counter decided to go and clean tables with 5 people waiting in line. 🤪 Other staff wandered around like they were lost. It took about 30 minutes to get our food. Disappointed to say the least. Food was very greasy and the place reeked of manteca! Everyone looked like they slept in their clothes. 😏

If I could give zero stars I would. Forget about the food and service which almost never is good any day. I had an incident and had to involve the police because come creepy old man tried to touch my daughter! A police investigation has been going on to find this man and we have not been updated on his whereabouts. My reason for rating this a 1 star is because the staff did NOTHING to stop this man or get him to leave when my wife left crying with our kids because of the emotional distraught that situation caused. She was with her mom, two sisters, and younger brother. My daughter 3 and son 2 were both there and the man was very interested in my daughter that he wanted to buy my daughter. I am not kidding when I say this place is seriously dangerous and you should not come here at all or after dark. !!!!!!!!I DO NOT RECOMEND TAKING CHILDREN HERE!!!!!!!
