So this was our first time here and was able to take advantage of their Colonial special which is a burger, fries and a burrito for like 6$. We opted for the double for like 2$ more. The burger was delicious but didn’t like the wait for a brown bag special. Took forever luckily we got an appetizer the fried pickles. Was not crazy about them because they were very thin and they fell apart easily.

This would be five stars, but I've had one really disappointing experience there. On the good days, food has always been great, easily the best burgers in Harlingen. And the sides: tots, fries, street corn, nachos have all been very satisfying. There are some really great deals during the week. On a side note... A couple of us coincidentally started calling this place "Flava Flav's." We used to correct ourselves after making the mistake, now we just embrace it. I really wanna dress up like Flava Flav, with a big clock necklace and everything and go eat there, but my friends are being clock blocks and don't wanna let me do it. In search of new friends. Let me know. 🕒

So our waitress was amazing and so was the smash burger. The fries were not my favorite and I couldn’t eat them all.

On my visit, there was a "Cash or Cash App only" sign posted, so I really can't give the place a fair review - but it smelled good inside. I did notice there were a variety of table sizes from booths to high-top tables, as well as interesting decorations on the walls. There appeared to be a bar which opened to the kitchen area. Since no one greeted me at the door, I would assume it's self-seating.

Food was amazing!!! Got a chance to eat with a coworker that's a local. He was able to give me cool background information on the bar. I have to say, I am extremely proud and impressed of the owner and the way they mix flavors of different foods and being them together as one! The Chef is a pallet genius. A major set back outside of the food caused the 3 stars.

I have eaten here now 2 times and the first time was amazing it has a great ambiance. Me and my wife tried different burgers the first time I had the griddled cheese bun burger they have there and my wife chose the donut and well see chose better than me naturally so I had to try it again. The second time I came I went for what I loved the first time so we both got the donut burger we got the 2 for 25 deal which is such a great deal we got the Korean BBQ wings they are to die for but we were surprised that the burgers were just not the same and didn't taste very good when we brought it up to an employee after they asked how our meal was they apologized and said that there was a newer chef and that the best time to come was Tuesday Friday and Saturday nights we did eat our burgers and we were waiting for our desert while waiting they cashed out the receipt and our waitress was about to walk out because the restaurant was closing. I stopped her and asked if we could get our desert she did put here stuff down and came back and asked us if we would like it togo because they were closing we did take it togo it was delicious a brownie with ice cream only the ice cream had turned to soup because the brownie was warm but it was still delicious.....all in all we will be back but the experience was not a good one hopefully the next time will be better .. shouldn't have to go on a certain day for the food to be delicious

The burgers and tacos we've tried tasted good enough. Their fries have an overcooked skin taste, are too soft and no seasoning at all. Their wings have disappointed. We've tried both bone-in and boneless. They recommended garlic parm flavor for the kids but they weren't very good and were smothered in too much sauce. Today we ordered lemon pepper but it was way over seasoned with the lemon pepper. They didn't give me the teriyaki ones I ordered for some reason; instead they gave me extra of the Korean bbq, which was ok. I won't order those next time. Not sure if the oil they used to fry them was already old but I think so because the wings had a bad oil taste and they were extremely saturated with oil! Each bite released so much oil that it made me feel sick. Very unhealthy and an incompetent way to fry food. I can't share my video so I added photos where I'm pressing the wing with a spoon and so much oil gushes out.

No go on lettuce wraps shrimp are so small and dry. The plate looks horrible. Hotdog is good, but by judging by the presentation it could be better.

Went in with my partner for an early dinner, place was mostly empty except for a few guys playing pool and about 3 tables with customers besides our own. We ordered 2 BYOB that according to the menu states includes tomato, pickles, onion, and a spring mix. It supposedly came with a side of fries that was a very scarce portion. His order came out without the spring mix and when he approached the management the waitress argued that he hadn’t ordered the greens which are supposed to automatically come with the burger as per the menu. They later brought out a side of leafy greens that was definitely not a spring mix. He lost his appetite with the bad service and decided not to eat. Waitress never came to check on us, never even offered to refill the drinks and in fact it seemed like she was avoiding us. When she finally did come to the table and asked if something was wrong he explained that he would not be consuming the meal and to remove it from our ticket. The manager came to the table and said he would not take it off, that we could take it to go and that we would have to pay for the meal even though he didn’t take even a bite. I have never before had to pay for a meal that was not consumed. The staff was not only incompetent, the other waitress was wearing flipflops which is a serious HEALTH CODE VIOLATION as she lost a chancla while running food from the kitchen. Food was “ok” at best , service was bad.

Went to Celebrate my daughter's Birthday and this is like the third time we're disappointed 😞 with the menu. Seems like they're always out of what it is we go there for. Very very limited menu. Been twice that they don't even have wings. We went Saturday around 7pm and there was only another family there. When we left there was no one left in the restaurant. I think this business is stretching itself thin by opening other locations and that's the reason they seem to have a very limited menu. We usually go to the location next to Domino's. I think we'll start looking for another venue to hold our celebrations...

Wow, first time here and won't be the last! My sister (word of mouth) told me about this place, came to eat and it was all that and more! Great meal and I will be back! Ok, that was last visit, just left right now Sunday the 1st of Oct, read reviews since I was last here. Guess I should of listened but did not think it would be as bad as reviews said so, we had burger and wings, BOTH cold, especially the buns, burger meat was dry as heck. Fries were just plain out terrible. Should have known as soon as we walked in it was empty, I knew we were taking a gamble, well once we received the terrible food it was validation for all the other persons who shared their experience. This should serve as a reason to HELP your cook, please get this to him, brother, take your time sir, your food should be hiding just like you in the kitchen, take pride in your job, how can you not know the buns and meal plain out is just as bad as the passion you have to make this a great place to come and hang out, we would have stayed for drinks but not gna happen, not today or in the future. We are from SA, but if we lived here, we would not be back. I'm sure this location Sales is down from last visit we came. Owner, you have a problem. Listen to the guest. This should help you realize your bottom line is not as good as you would want to see it at. I can bet you on this assumption. You took my $30 today, but never again. I do not know how you can win back the guest who just will not be back. Should have listened to the rest of those who got it right on target. Bad food, bad vibes. But credit to the waitress, she was nice, but her serving the food did not get her as much of a tip due to the food. I hope once again, your cook reads this because he is not doing a justice to your establishment as my last visit prior to this one.
