We visited Piccolino for the first time 5/6/23 as a birthday treat for myself. The reception from Salvatore and his colleagues was very friendly and welcoming, and we were exceptionally well looked after during our meal. The food was delightful, and the evening spent in Piccolino couldn't have been any better. Well done to Salvatore and the team. We will be visiting you again soon. Many thanks from Ann and David

Lovely restaurant with great food, fantastic staff (Lara was outstanding) and a great atmosphere. Service was a little slow the night we went but the waitress explained that a new section of the restaurant had been opened that night and the staff were not expecting it so tables were in wrong places. The kitchen is also quite small for the amount of covers. If you're in a hurry you may be best placed to tell them so when you book/arrive otherwise enjoy the food and the atmosphere it's lovely.

Lovely food & service. The ladies waiting on us were great, the chap advising on the wine was brilliant and the toilets were clean. After a week away from home this has been a highlight. The wife had lasagna and I went for veal escalope - both were so tasty!

Was here just after lunch time (not so busy yet) Right from the door to when we left, it was great ambience, friendly authentic italian staff, great food and drinks. I didn't find a single fault. Highly recommend and looking forward to returning there when next I'm in Harrogate. 10/10 for me.

Beautiful Space, the food was amazing and the service brilliant.

From start to finish we cannot fault Piccolino Harrogate and the sublime service we received from Paul. Food was beautiful with each course close to perfection. I had scallops, Black Angus rib eye and cheese, and my wife had prawn bruschetta, fillet steak, and choux bun. Every morsel was delicious and full of flavour. The service from Paul was friendly and attentive, but not overly so, which made us comfortable and the overall experience more enjoyable.

My partner and I recently had the pleasure of celebrating our civil partnership at Piccolino Harrogate, and we can't thank Salvatore, Lucinda, Sergio, and Conor enough for making our day absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived at this charming restaurant and bar, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that immediately put us at ease. The extraordinary rooftop terrace, with its lovely retractable roof, provided the perfect setting for our special occasion. The ability to enjoy the open air or have cover as needed was a fantastic touch, and it truly added to the unique atmosphere. One of the highlights of the evening was undoubtedly the amazing canapés that were served. Not only were they beautifully presented, but the portions were also incredibly generous, ensuring that all our guests were more than satisfied. The blend of flavors and textures was a culinary delight, and it exceeded all our expectations. What truly stood out, however, was the impeccable service and attention to detail provided by Salvatore, Lucinda, Sergio, and Conor. It felt like we were celebrating with an Italian family, and their warm and friendly interaction with our guests created an inviting and festive atmosphere that we'll cherish forever. Their willingness to go above and beyond was evident when they helped us with setting up the venue, ensuring that every detail was perfect. They even took great care in storing our belongings securely until the next day, allowing us to enjoy the evening without any worries. The location of Piccolino Harrogate is also worth noting. Situated across from the Turkish Baths in Harrogate, it offers a picturesque backdrop that added to the overall ambiance of our celebration. In conclusion, our civil partnership ceremony at Piccolino Harrogate was an absolute success, thanks in large part to Salvatore, Lucinda, Sergio, and Conor. We couldn't have asked for a more dedicated and accommodating team to help us create cherished memories on our special day. Piccolino Harrogate is a hidden gem, and we wholeheartedly recommend it for any occasion. Grazie mille for an unforgettable evening!

Attended here today for a late lunch at 4pm. They have a lunch menu that runs from 12pm to 6pm and is a bargain as one course for £10.50, two course for £14.50. The venue is very well designed and has a great atmosphere. The staff who served us were great and helpful. I have included a picture of the lunch menu to help you. Along with a picture of information of how to join their loyalty group to get discounts. The food was impressive and happy with my sea bass fish.

Booked a table last minute on Saturday night. Wonderful experience, got sat and served very quickly, cocktails were lovely. Splurged out on the lobster and steak and it was an absolute delight. Would recommend.

Food was amazing, the staff were brilliant and looked after us with my partner receiving Prosecco and a desert to celebrate her birthday. Excited to come back soon!

Have just visited for a fantastic meal with my partner. High recommend stopping in for a meal, lovely freshly made food served by a very knowledgeable waiter in excellent immaculate surroundings. Thank you, we shall visit again when back in the area without hesitation.

We had our wedding here on the open roof bar area!! The staff are all over it and everything went together seamlessly! We gave them an image and they put it all together! It couldn’t have went any better!! Salvatore is a stoic leader and so friendly!! Jeremy has always been so kind and talkative since our first ever visit to piccolino!! This place is a hidden gem in Harrogate it should be absolutely jam packed every single day! The food is tremendous! What a day and all thanks to the staff! Lovely celebratory meal with great service from Salvo and Jose. Each meal was piping hot and really tasty, and the service was attentive and personable. Would have no hesitation in recommending.

I honestly can’t thank Piccolino Harrogate enough for the most thoughtful and memorable dining experience! We booked a table for my daughter and, to our surprise, they had arranged a stunning bouquet of flowers waiting for her – completely free of charge. Such a kind and personal touch that made her feel so special. The atmosphere is gorgeous – classy but warm – and the service was flawless from start to finish. The staff were attentive, friendly, and genuinely cared about making the evening perfect. And the food… wow. Absolutely unreal. Every dish was packed with flavour, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. From the fresh starters to the indulgent desserts, everything was exceptional. They left with full hearts and even fuller stomachs! 🥰 Thank you Piccolino Harrogate – we’ll definitely be back and will recommend you to everyone we know.

We booked the roof terrace and private dining room for a wedding celebration. Everything was amazing and the whole team we dealt with from the first enquiry to collecting items the next day was amazing. Very considerate and attentive staff, they were excellent accomodating our needs, great with dietary needs and very helpful when we asked for anything. Jose in particular was a star. He is very good at his job and we couldn't have wished for anyone better to look after us. Thank you for excellent service at a lovely venue. 5 stars from us.

An absolute gem among Italian restaurants in Harrogate! Everything here is exceptional — from the outstanding food to the warm, attentive staff. The tiramisu truly felt like the perfect finishing touch to an already wonderful meal. Their risotto, pizza, and cocktails are all must-tries, and you can confidently go with any recommendation from the team — they always get it right. The ambience is charming and inviting, making it the ideal place to celebrate a special occasion with your loved ones. Salvatore, the General Manager, welcomes you with genuine warmth and ensures every guest feels completely at ease. Jose delivers impeccable service with incredible attention to detail, while Ben at the bar guides you to the perfect drink with ease. And of course, James and Alice were equally fantastic, offering friendly, thoughtful service throughout. Overall, the entire team radiates positivity and goes the extra mile to make your dining experience truly memorable. A place you’ll want to return to again and again.

Dined today with family. Very inviting and welcoming restaurant. The quality of the food is 5 star - we had the prawns and the seabass, lasagna and caesar salad. Portion sizes are larger than in other restaurants which is always a bonus. If you like a nice Prosecco I would definitely recommend getting a bottle. Lovely afternoon and will be back. Special thanks to Salvatore; not only for accommodating several dietary requirements but going above and beyond. Looking forward to returning next time we are in Harrogate.

The staff were very attentive and made our day special. They couldn't do enough for our group of 14 friends on a hen day out. I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant, you will not be disappointed. Thanks to Salvatore and all his staff.

Came here for a meal after Knit & Stitch, didn’t book but still found us a table! Highly recommend the food & drinks (we even did a food dance, the food was so good!) Salvo was incredibly wonderful, couldn’t do enough for us! We will most definitely return!

Beautiful restaurant, amazing service and superb food. Was about to pay the bill as more than happy with it, when the manager came across and apologised for giving us the wrong bill, (£25 less) so grateful for the honesty. Will definitely return. Booked a table for Saturday 6th September as my wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary. The food and service was excellent and the manager, Salvador, was most attentive and friendly. The restaurant was busy yet the food was served promptly and was delicious. We are both looking forward to our next opportunity to visit.

Had a great night at Piccolinos. Great food , value for money and great service. Particularly our waiter Jose. Looked after all our needs and great advice. Would recommend.

This was an amazing place for fab Italian foid. We were so well looked after. We were on table 31 this evening. Sadly I didn't ask his name, but the guy who looked after us was exceptional - huge thank you to him. Food was utterly delicious and nothing was too much trouble. 5 stars all round. We'll be back! OMG !! We were initially nervous about eating in Piccolino in Harrogate . But that changed from the moment we took the first bite , stating with the appetiser and the main was perfect . The Caesar Salad is not to be missed if you ever end up in Harrogate . Well done , we will definitely come again. Thank you for such a great start to a memorable day.

Xmas shopping lunch Tuesday 2nd December with my wife , was quiet manager found us a nice table for two in the window ... Wife had lasagna I had a simple ragu served hot and very tasty and most importantly freshly made , super service , super food . Very good as most Picolino Italians 👌

We had a wonderful meal last Friday at Piccolino Harrogate last Friday. The food was excellent, they offer a great menu for £25. The service was really lovely too. The interior is beautiful and I would highly recommend it. My daughter left her school bag there and as we live 4 hours away we were worried we wouldn't see it again. The owner very, very kindly posted it to us and she has just been reunited with it. We hope to come back to Harrogate soon and will definintely come back here to eat.

Upmarket Italian Restaurant with all the classic dishes and more you would expect from an established chain. The atmosphere and service was top notch. I sampled some interesting cocktails, a delicious Calamari starter, and a rich tiramisu that melted in the mouth. I was not entirely convinced with the steak which was lacking in juices, flavour, and was a tad bit dry and tough. Will stick to the more 'traditional' Italian mains next time.

Overall a very good experience. The restaurant was about half full, the staff were attentive and the food was very, very good! I would certainly recommend and definitely will be returning. Only reason why it wasn't 5 stars, was because there is an automatic gratuity added to your bill of 10%, that we werent aware of, until recieved the bill. So our automatic gratuity came to just a few pence short of £20. When the food and service has been good I will always tip, but when it's added on automatically it makes me feel slightly uneasy. Especially if the amount is more than you think is earned or more then you had budgeted for. So just something to be wary of when visiting. But on the whole was a very pleasant experience.

Great pizza and friendly staff made for a nice lunch time visit. Service was very good. It was not over busy for a mid day Monday. We sat upstairs which was pleasant too

Loved this restaurant, service spot on and good space between tables. A small problem with food not being hot enough for me but was resolved with an apology. Would definitely return.

Lovely night and food was delicious from a somewhat pared down menu. Only complaint was it was cold sat in the window, didn’t realise how cold until I got home; would suggest getting some heaters for the window tables.

Went for a birthday meal on 8/11/25 - food was beautiful, well presented and i feel good value. However was disappointed with service.

There were 8 of us dining,it was a Thursday night 17th October, the restaurant was fairly empty, I can’t comment on all of the food but several of us had the LASAGNE AL WAGYU E TARTUFO Piccolino anniversary masterpiece, 25 layers of slow-cooked Wagyu beef, truffle, béchamel, tomato & fresh basil lasagne, this came in at £21.50 together with CALAMARI FRITTI Crispy fried squid, chilli & lemon mayonnaise to start. If I’m being honest you couldn’t tell it was wagu, it was served slightly mushed and didn’t really look that appetising! disappointed that this was billed as there anniversary masterpiece!! The calamari was ok, no real finesse in how it was served and it was top end for a started at £11.25 My girlfriend is coeliac she had the PROSCIUTTO E MELONE A simple yet iconic classic featuring San Daniele Parma ham & cantaloupe melon which was uninspiring in presentation, Tracey also had the gluten free margarita pizza, unfortunately the base was so overcooked it was difficult to cut and we were not sure if they’ prepared it fresh on site, in her words it tasted like it was bought in and she’s a good judge on gluten free, now normally we would have raised all of this at the restaurant, however it was a family break we were in Harrogate for 4 days with family and on this occasion we were being treated and it was frowned upon to make a scene. I’ve eaten at several of the outlets Birmingham, Manchester & Liverpool but unfortunately this was not a good night for Harrogate, based on our experience we wouldn’t return.

We've been to Piccolino a few times over the years and it has always been an individual experience. This time they seemed quite overrun on the Saturday night and the quality of the food wasn't as good as it used to be. For the price now it does not represent the good value either for food or experience. I would much prefer Vivido where both the food and service is exceptional.

My daughter recommended this restaurant after eating at other piccolino restaurants. We went for my birthday celebration. The restaurant staff were very friendly and the restaurant itself is beautiful. Unfortunately my meal wasn't very good . I had carbonara as did my husband . We both agreed it didn't taste right. I didn't eat mine and did tell the waiter that it didn't taste nice ,the pancetta was burnt which i feel affected the dish .. He apologised and said he would tell the manager .I was still charged for the dish which I was surprised about. Ive never left a restaurant feeling still feeling hungry so was very disappointed.

We recently had dinner at Piccolino in Harrogate and left feeling quite disappointed overall. The one thing I do want to highlight is the service — the staff were genuinely excellent from start to finish. They were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. If this review was based on service alone, it would be a very positive one. Unfortunately, the food and overall value for money really let the experience down. Our food took a long time to arrive, much longer than we would reasonably expect for a restaurant at this price point. When the dishes finally came out, they weren’t particularly hot and felt like they had been sitting for a while before reaching the table. The quality and presentation were okay, but nothing special — certainly not what you’d hope for from a restaurant with this reputation. For five people, the total bill came to around £250. Given the slow service from the kitchen and the fact the food wasn’t properly hot, it just didn’t feel like good value. We left feeling that we had paid premium prices for a very average meal. Overall, the only real highlight was the staff, who genuinely did a great job. Sadly, everything else fell short, and based on this visit, I don’t think we’d be rushing back.

Not a great experience. Went for lunch for the 50% offer and was seated promptly but then we ignored for an hour and had to ask the waiter to take our drinks order. The waiter then forgot to bring milk for the tea and it took a few times asking for them to bring it over. When starters had finally been ordered and arrived they were cold and same with the mains. Had a word with the manager about the food and he said they were having an off day but didn’t really apologise. Not worth the money and would not return.
