Simply the best service ever, I love every single person who works at this fantastic restaurant. The food is fresh and authentic Italian homemade recipes. However it’s the personalised service that staff give that makes you want to go back again and again. Big shout out to Salvador today, thanks for the chocolates so kind ❤️

I had a great experience with our waiter Salvo! He was very polite, friendly, and provided excellent service throughout the meal. Everything was quick and efficient, and he made sure we had everything we needed. Really happy with the overall service — highly recommended!

Had an excellent lunch today on our way to Wetherby for Christmas shopping. Warm friendly service from Salvo who made us feel welcome. We had a Rosemary and sea salt garlic bread starter- Lovely. It was followed by Linguine Gamberoni , prawns and pasta cooked to perfection the best I’ve eaten anywhere. My wife had the Trofie Con Pollo a favourite of hers, a chicken, cream, cheese and fresh vegetables pasta with a glass of red wine. The food and friendly staff make it all feel special, not always the case these days.

Popped in for an early evening meal with my husband, 3 young children and relatives. The staff were all very good and attentive. We had the 2 courses for £25. All of us commented on the quality of the food. I think it's the best lasagne I've ever had. Will definitely be returning!

We had the most wonderful family meal at Piccolinos Italian restaurant in Collingham and couldn’t recommend it more highly! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming and perfect for a relaxed family dinner. We were dining as a family of three with our 8-year-old daughter, and she was absolutely delighted with her meal. She started with the dough balls (which were soft, warm and delicious), then loved creating her own pizza — such a fun touch for children! It arrived perfectly cooked with a crispy base and generous toppings. To finish, she had the ice cream sundae, which was beautifully presented and disappeared very quickly! I began with the arancini, which were crisp on the outside and wonderfully rich and flavourful inside — a fantastic start. My bolognese was comforting, hearty and clearly made with quality ingredients. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his bruschetta to start — fresh, vibrant and full of flavour — followed by the Sunday roast, which was absolutely superb. Everything was cooked to perfection, beautifully presented and generous in portion size. He finished with the tiramisu, which he said was one of the best he’s ever had — light, creamy and perfectly balanced. A special mention must go to Salvo, our waiter, who was excellent from start to finish. He was attentive, friendly, great with our daughter and made us feel genuinely looked after without ever being intrusive. His service really elevated the whole experience. Every dish we ordered was outstanding, and the combination of delicious food, welcoming atmosphere and exceptional service made it a perfect evening. We’ll definitely be returning — highly, highly recommended!

Visited Piccolino for the first time for a Valentine's meal. We didn't go for the set menu but instead decided to pick our own dishes. Everything was delicious, made with fresh ingredients and just delightful. Salvo, our server, took great care of us, making us feel welcome and well attended to. Great service overall and they even accommodated a small change we requested for one of our dishes. The restaurant itself had perfect temperature (Warm but not too warm! ) and good sound absorption meaning you couldn't hear other people's conversations , nor did it feel too loud and difficult to hear each other (for me, this is so important!). Would definitely recommend and hope to come back again soon. Highly recommend the truffle pasta!

Brilliant service from Salvo, gave us the option to order from the set menu despite it not being on due to Valentine’s Day! Had a lovely table in the window next to the radiators. Food was delicious, I’m sure we will be back.

We visit Picollino Collingham at least twice a week. The food as usual is always first class and to go with it the service is also top notch; especially from Salvatore who is always friendly, very tentative to all the customers and makes sure we all have an enjoyable time. Lovely pre Christmas meal with the family. Sal gave us great service and the full Italian experience. The restaurant was busy with a buzzing festive atmosphere.

Spotted this restaurant on a de tour to the airport and put it in my must try list, I’m so glad I did. Absolutely beautiful food and first class service, especially from Salvo. The Wagyu Lasagna is delicious. I will be back

My absolute favourite place to eat. The staff have been here since I started coming over 7 years ago. Even during Covid times the food didn’t slip, outstanding food, great atmosphere! Now we come with our own child and they are so lovely with her! Had the best time again celebrating a new job. It’s our go to for celebrating. Thank you Sara for an amazing meal. Xx

Stopped on the way to Scotland, seated without reservation. The food was quick and hot. Absolutely delicious and the staff speak Italian which is always a good sign. Our server Sara was polite and helpful. Plan to return Monday for a bigger feast, much better than stopping at a service station. My new A1 lunch stop!

Much more quiet as it's a week night but absolutely lovely staff and the food was amazing, lovely depth of flavour to everything and not shy with portion sizes. It was also so good to see some fantastic options on the kids menu that's not just the usual stuff. Definitely want to come back again and well worth a visit out of the city. Good vegetarian options and large gluten free options available too, if you want really good food that's tasty but have to be GF or veggie I'd say definitely try here.

We had a lovely experience at this restaurant. The food was excellent, with a great menu choice, the atmosphere is welcoming, a really enjoyable evening. Service was efficient and friendly from Sara who looked after us brilliantly. We would definately recommend.

All the staff were very attentive and kind, I have a citrus allergy and was well advised on all I could have, and all food was handled with care. Lovely atmosphere, and Salvatore was absolutely lovely and always made sure we had everything we needed :)

The most beautiful couple of hours with my bestie at @piccolinorestaurants in Collingham. Always been my favourite local restaurant. In Feb, my family and I had a huge meal to celebrate being told I was ‘cancer free’. It was a beautiful occasion, and as always, beautiful food. Just a few weeks later I was told the cancer had spread to my brain and I had several tumours, and had 3-4 weeks to live (I’m still here in Nov). I ate at Piccolino as much as I could, and worked my way through the menu from steak to lobster and everything in-between. With friends, with family, with my boys… every opportunity I could, because I LOVE the food there. I also feel safe and comfortable there, in my condition. I went last week again with my young family and had THE BEST fillet steak, with truffle & pecorino fries, I’ve ever had. Garlic butter on the side. A portion of zucchini frites. It was the best meal I’ve ever had. Today I went back and had exactly the same, although I tried the truffle butter today (delicious). I’m astounded to say today, was even better, if that’s possible! I’m on a huge dose of steroids which makes my appetite off the scale but genuinely this was the best meal I’ve had, at 45 years old. I couldn’t manage a dessert, but we were given complimentary truffles which were, again, the best I’ve ever had. Not forgetting we were given complimentary nibbles to start which were divine. When I was there last week I’d had a couple of large Malbec’s 🍷 and with my medication, I was a bit sloshed… and I think I may have been a bit loose lipped with the lovely staff (who are always so amazing), and told them I should be dead by now! I think I was a bit huggy too 😱😂 I wondered if they remembered that, hence the extras today. Although, before cancer, the staff have always been amazing here, and I’ve been coming here years. I just love it. Consistently - delicious food. Consistently - good atmosphere. Consistently - amazing service and super friendly staff. Special shout out today to ‘Sara’ who I have always recognised and liked, as she’s always so amazing, but I just learned her name today. Thank you, Sara. I hope I get one more meal at Piccolino!

A regular spot for us, always a friendly welcome and great service. Food is delicious and well presented. I was particularly touched by the special dessert and card presented to my 86 year old mum, who we were treating to a family dinner. Very much appreciated. We'll be back.

Fabulous lunch to celebrate Christmas! We were served garlic bread & focaccia with olives as a complementary starter. Sara was amazing as always and managed to keep a note of everyone’s order , so we could pay individually. Food was delicious and beautifully presented with complimentary extras of fries & roasted potatoes.

Love this place! We come here often but the food recommendations ensure we try more than we would have. Salvo recommended the tuna tonight which was exceptional and the sharing antipasto is still the tastiest and best value in the country. Delicious food and exceptional service keep us coming back.

Asked for a quiet and secluded table as wife is immuno compromised. This was provided discretely and easily. Couldn’t fault anything at all. A really enjoyable dining experience. Many thanks to Salvo and colleagues for the great service 🙂

We come maybe 2 or 3 times a year for a family dinner and on every occasion it is memorable for all the right reasons… great food, fun atmosphere and excellent service… the last two occasions that service has been provided by Salvo who is an outstanding member of the team who always makes the evening even more memorable…

A true Collingham classic- Piccolino’s has served brilliant food, gorgeous atmosphere, and friendly service for years, and they’ve only gotten better since. Recently having been there with family, we were served by Salvo, who was lovely and attentive, and made sure to inform the kitchen of my sister’s gluten allergy. An absolute hit, if you’re in the area!

I had Burata and carbonara - both of which were lovely! The atmosphere was great, I’ve always loved Piccolino’s collingham and have come here to a long time. Salvo was very attentive.

A lovely meal to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. Delicious food and wine. Excellent service from Salvo. Extra treat of singing happy birthday and a candle. Wonderful.

We never have a bad experience here. The staff are so friendly (Sara looked after us tonight) and they always go out of their way to make you feel special. Always a pleasure to return time after time.
