I like this place. The food flavor is actually rich and nice. The location is good. Plenty parking. The only thing is that the prices are pretty high but it makes sense with this economy.

The food there is excellent. Very affordable, give you a lot for your money . Very friendly invairment. The best part is you can order to go in case you don't want to eat there. That is a big plus. The in side looks like restaurant. Very nice place love it .

Their food is really good I cannot lie I'm not going to try and play them up or down their food is really good they know what they're doing and their prices are really reasonable I love their fried chicken wings they are so juicy and good but I love the egg foo young the rice their orange chicken is the best I honestly I love everything

I've been going here for 10+ years... yeah their portions did get smaller over the past few years but that's at almost every Asian restaurant around Hayward, but i still go there every other week...and they are fast I usually wait about 12-15 minutes and I get several different meals... you can always order via phone and just pick it up...

Haven't been here in a few years since moving to the valley. But they have made some fabulous interior upgrades. So much brighter and appealing. The service was excellent! Food was prepared and served quick! And all 5 dishes were delicious and huge portions! Sweet an sour ribs still crunchy with the sauce. Greens beans fresh not frozen kind, salt and pepper fish just enough spice, Mongolian beef tender, combo chow mein is the best I've had in awhile! Such a great experience definitely coming back.

The food was hot well seasoned and the portions were large. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good Chinese food.

Big servings of food for a minimal cost. This is why there's always a lot of diners going here. Not just one or two, but the whole family. Food is flavorful. The only downside most of the time is the service. Their servers are all around. Meaning, they also take lots of take-out phone call orders. So, they rarely pass by your table. But, it's not a problem to flag them. This is a great place to go to for family dinners.

The food was excellent. However, the service was terrible. No one came to check on us. Had to ask for boxes a few times...before they were brought to us. Had to ask for our bill. We will definitely be back. Hoping the bad service was just a fluke. However, they weren't even busy the day we went.

Typically this place has decent food for the price. I’ve probably ordered from here nearing 50 times. Yesterday I order the Hong Kong style combination and it seems they are also charging more for less. The combination didn't even have anything that makes it a combination. No shrimp, no chicken, no BBQ pork. It only had beef. Complete disappointment. Likely will go to a different Chinese restaurant from now on. The last three times I went here I was disappointed. It's a shame.

Awesome Chinese food. 2024 update: food still really good. Prizes are fair. Plenty of seating area. Took star away because of the bathrooms. I will never go into their bathroom again. Scary and dirty. Which makes me think how their kitchen might look.

This eclectic Asian style restaurant is a real throwback. It is small, crowded and noisey. It does offer a great value in the amount of food you get from each item ordered. Typically my wife and I only need to order two items and still have food to take home. Keep in mind the idea I'd quantity not quality and you will so just fine.

Decent food with large portions. Shrimp were going off. Service was strange. The waitress looked very serious and said 15 minutes to cook after each person ordered. If you asked a question about the food the waitress said 15 minutes to cook. Kind of funny

A reasonable entry-level Chinese restaurant as of late 2023. They re-opened in-person dining early in 2023. At $12, lunch prices are up 50% from a couple years ago. Cheaper holes-in-the-wall are becoming rarer these days. Servings are generous, and food quality seems reasonable but unremarkable for this price tier. They did give me the wrong dish. The sauce was quite watery - which I fixed by stir-frying again with additional ingredients. Menus include Chinese, English, and Spanish. --- Edit: After they wouldn't let me order from the lunch menu when I arrived 4 minutes past their 2pm deadline, I discovered a significantly better deal 5 blocks west: Tin Fu (doesn't show up on google map except at very high magnification)

We have been a regular at Frannies but since the pandemic, yesterday was my 1st order to go. I have to say the prices have increased and the food quality has gone down. During dine ins we used to enjoy our meals but yesterdays order was terrible. The food didn't have any taste, was very blend, and portions too small for the price. I dont think we will be returning to what used to be one of our favs. I have met the owener a couple of times during dine ins, and she is a very lovely lady. Hopefully she can do something about the food quality.

I used to be a long time goer here. Food was awesome back a year to 2 years ago.. The food now doesn't taste like it used too. When I tried to order food to go on the phone. No one bothered to pick up the phone. I end up going there waiting for about 30 minutes. Everything was bland no taste or the flavors that I know off was missing. I ended up going to a different place a bit further where their food is consistent and they are very warm to their patrons. Sorry, I am not coming back there to eat.

Stopped here to pick up some lunch while visiting my mom at the cemetery up the street. We wanted to try something different, well that was a mistake. The 2 women at the register didn't say anything when we walked in, not even a, "how can I help you". After staring at each other for almost 2 minutes we ordered the bbq plate and shrimp chow mein. The food was very sub par, the bbq tasted like sweet soy sauce, and the rice was very wet, almost mushy. The noodles were decent but that's about it. The uninviting service and terrible food will keep us from coming back, EVER!!

Bad service really rude lady

I was in today with some ladies from church. They go there often. I have been a few times but today the sesame chicken was horrible and hard. I was treating some ladies from church who didn’t say anything but I noticed they didn’t eat but one piece. So when I got home with the leftovers I now know why it was horrible and hard. I called and asked could I get a fresh order because I know that was old and heated up. She act like she didn’t know what I was talking about. I wish they would have been more professional about it. It’s really pathetic and sad customer service. I actually have the whole box but will throw away. You reap what you sow!
