Haha Sushi Ramen

It is great. You have to try it if you like Japanese food. I will be back for sure. Flavors are really good. Portions are generous. Prices are decent. What more can you ask for? The parking situation is a little awkward since it is downtown. It is not too bad to park around there though and it is absolutely worth walking a few blocks to eat here. Treat yourself. This place has excellent food.

The curry is soooo good! Best I have ever had. They veganize this for you and the staff is so loving and kind. We are vegan & this is my favourite japanese in thr bay area. Their mango sake is another fave! Must go here. Simple, lowkey delicious food :)

Hayward's tastiest selection of Sushi & Best Ramen soup here. My favorite is the Seafood Ramen. In addition to their fresh fish selection. Food and outstanding service that stays consistent throughout all my several visits. I highly recommend eating here. Plus the prices are beyond affordable compared to the superior overall quality of food within its selection.

This place is great! The foods taste delicious and at a decent price. The service was good and our server was attentive of our needs. The walls are bare with a TV next to the bar. Be sure to know that if you order a soda, it comes in a can. There selection of foods is plentiful and of good quality. This place would be nice for a date or a small group. I'm glad I found this place and plan on returning to enjoy with other people.

I liked everything, the food is tasty, maybe a little spicy. Cooking time is 10-15 minutes. Good sashimi. I also liked the chicken ramen and the seafood ramen. The tables are small and the water in iron glasses, but overall I can recommend it. There may not be enough food for the children.$100 - family 4x with tips.

We love this place! We had been searching for a good ramen spot and we are so happy to have found this place. The ramen is delicious, the hand and specialty rolls are yummy, and the curry is super tasty. Everything on the menu is worth trying and I am sure you will find your favorite. The service can be a little slow on busy weekends but staff are attentive and nice. Definitely check them out!

My friend and I went to this spot for a quick lunch. She was craving ramen, but couldn’t eat half cooked egg due to chemo treatment. The servers made sure to take care of her needs. She ordered ramen and she said it was the best tasting grilled chicken she has had (all foods either made her sick or taste horrible due to treatment), but she really enjoyed the food. I ordered curry crispy chicken (I forgot the name of it). It came with salad and miso soup. The food was so good, the camera didn’t have a chance to eat first 😂, as usual. The curry had calavasa which made the texture go very well with the carrot. While I waited for my friend in the bathroom, they brought out watermelon. I thought that was such a kind gesture. There was also a painter painting Kiko’s delivery service. Such a cute spot. These are the only photos I took. Enjoy! p.s. my friend reported that the bathroom was very clean.

This restaurant is located on a really unique block, with lots of great restaurants and easy parking! The service was wonderful, very friendly and fast. We loved our food. My friend got the ramen, and I wasn't very hungry so I just got the tuna avocado appetizer. Food was fresh and delicious.

Great discovery. Food is great and the staff is very friendly. Food took a little time to come which was a good part, didn't feel rushed or being pushed out. Sushi and Ramen were both good. I would highly recommend.

The spicy garlic tonkatsu ramen was good until you get the fried garlic. It tasted burnt but the broth was delicious.

Very quaint atmosphere. Seems crowded but there's quite a bit of space. Service was quick, but not very friendly. Food was good. Cheap, for what they were serving. Big portions. Lunch for 3 was roughly 23 dollars. Not bad. 5/7 would eat again.

This place has bomb sushi for a good price. Had a bowl of ramen but it was really disappointing. It had no flavor and the pork belly that came with it was just blobs of fat that were way too sweet. I still gave it four stars because the sushi was that good. The service was friendlyish but they could use another waiter to accommodate when they get busy . I'll come back. Just never ordering the ramen ever again. The drink selection is small.

Awesome ramen! Wide range in the menu... servers are very quiet, but attentive... however the sushi that was order looked nothing like the photo provided assuming that it was much bigger n looked taster... but it was still good but much smaller in size compared to the photo! Decent priced, will definitely go back again!!

Dropped by a few nights back and enjoyed what I ordered- decided to try their ramen and got some sushi as well. Sushi is well prepared and delicious. The fish tasted quite fresh. I also enjoyed the service we received, very laid back drop in, drop out environment. The ramen was preeeeetty good too. There were some things I would change, but overall if you are looking for something that's a step up from a more premium packaged option, you will certainly find it delicious. I think my saddest moment was when my egg in my ramen was too boiled over, was not runny at all. Thanks for a overall great dining experience!

Food was good. But I got delivery and they forgot the Wasabi sauce. I can't really enjoy sashimi without Wasabi. So that was disappointing. Otherwise it's fairly decent

The noodles taste like generic noodles , nothing special but the broth and toppings are great and the sushi is decent too. Lots of options and satisfying. If you get extra noodles it is twice! the amount of noodles of a regular bowl and a regular bowl is big enough in my opinion.

FWIW, owner/chef probably Chinese as there is a Mala Ramen 麻辣麵 on the menu in place of Japanese 担々麺 (Tan-Tan Men). Reviewers that complain about the quality are most likely comparing against authentic shops like those found in South Bay and in SF. When I don't have the time or inclination to drive all the way to South Bay, for under $9 including tax, a bowl of non-authentic ramen here is actually a good value. (BTW, take non-authentic with a grain of salt, as ramen, 拉麵, has its origins from China, but the modern rendition of ramen ラーメン, the really good stuff, is from Japan. So when I say "non-authentic" I mean relative to the really good Japanese ラーメン. Haha, like many Chinese-owned restaurants, are trying to create their version of Japanese ramen, so their quality or ingredients may seem off. Rather than compare the two, I put "non-authentic" ramen in its own category because it's cheaper, sometimes providing a good value. However, if two shops were equidistant and equally priced, I would always go for authentic ramen.)

They are very nice and the sushi is fresh. But when I go out of my way to confirm and reconfirm that the California roll has the imitation crab stick, not the nasty crab/mayo salad, I hope that I can trust that. Well 3/4 of my rolls all contained this nasty crab-Mayo salad. I’m eating the meal because it wasn’t cheap and I am craving sushi- but it is all wrong. 3/4 of the rolls have this specific ingredient that I specifically asked about and was assured would not be on the sushi. I was told a crab stick and I got crab-Mayo salad. I get that this is the standard for a California roll in California, but NOONE else does this. Any other state or country, a California roll has the crab stick, not this nasty crab mayo salad.

The noodles I think were instant noodles, not fresh at all and super dry. The stock for ramen is not flavorful at all. Two is even higher that what their food deserves

We went here once before when they first opened. It hadn't changed. I ordered the ramen with pork. It had no flavor. It tasted like they opened a packet dropped the noodles in added the slices of pork and that was it. Totally bland. Won't be going there again. We gave it a second chance.

Noodles are sticky and tough, no flavor, minimal toppings and my pork was gray, very salty, food was lukewarm, couldn't even finish because of how salty it was and I was running for the bathroom when I got home. Server was nowhere to be found and when we gave our order she couldn't understand what we wanted. Also their HVAC system leaks onto the tables and booths! Only came here because we were trying to go to the awesome restaurant next door but they were closed for a holiday. Never coming back, stay away if you like ramen!

Ordered for delivery through their website. It said it'd take an hour to reach your address. After waiting 1.5hr I called and they said delivery left 10min ago and should reach me soon. Delivery man arrived after I got off the phone, and he socially distanced and dropped off the food with care. My order was missing 2 items. I called back the location and I asked the man to refund me for the 2 missing items and he said he would, but it's been 5 days and I still have not received a refund. There is not a "contact us" form or email to address so I have to call back again for them to refund me. By the time the food reached us, it was like warm and it was okay. Not really worth the long wait in receiving it. I would not recommend.

It was good but not after new owner took over.. This is the "pork belly" from the pork belly ramen, looks like bacon to me.

Portion sizes are extremely small. Everything lacks flavor. I came here for my birthday wanting a good experience and left feeling rather molested. Terrible service, terrible food you’d be better off eating top ramen. 0 stars isn’t an option so I guess here 1 star.

They automatically tip themselves. They barely do anything for you but they charge so much for a tip. Food was small portions and has no good flavor. I ordered teriyaki beef. 👎👎👎Small and plain. Not worth it not coming back not recommended.
