out of all the Hawaiian bbq in the east bay, by far this location is my and husband favorite in (Hercules). whoever the cooks are I just want to say thanks for making my plate today, I order two seafood/ bbq platters. the portion and size of everything was satisfying. I just got out of the hospital and was craving BBQ, anyways they made me happy 😃 thank you for being open! I will be coming back soon!

I really like THIS particular L&L. The young man at the counter is always courteous and helpful. He allows substitutions and never makes you feel guilty for asking. The food is much better quality and taste compared to surrounding L&L's. They take cash, credit, debit and Samsung Pay. This place is a staple and I am grateful that it is under new ownership.

Although they never greet you upon entering or even ask "can i help you", i shall return because only one in my neighborhood. UPDATE: Really Nice!! I like the greetings being made now. The food is always good now the service matches. Awesome!!!

Love this place I eat here most of the time on my break and they have never disappointed me. Some may have something different to say but the food is good and comes out at a decent rate but nothing crazy there is still a wait ( bars ).

My first time at this location, and I see that it has low ratings because of the service, but luckily it's looks like I avoided the problem employee. Pros: Huge portions, piping hot, ready quickly Cons: Nothing special taste wise If you're really hungry, eat here.

The lady in front with the furry pink jacket refused to give me one for my 10.00 lunch. Never happened in a BBQ place to me before, I guess I'll just spend my money somewhere else :(

My husband went this afternoon with a friend the lady that took their order was extremely rude. My husband almost canceled their order. He asked for a cup for water and she wanted to charge him. I ordered togo box and decided to eat inside because someone is still eating inside. almost closing time and the cashier ask me to go is this rude or its just me? Btw not going back here anymore and dont get me wrong food is great!

The front lady had the worse attitude ever, she got my order wrong then I went to tell her and then was trying to tell me I owed her 22 cents. I couldn't understand her because she barely spoke English which is fine..but don't get mad at me and have a horrible attitude when I can't understand you. You're getting mad at me?? For you not being able to say 22 cents after I repeatedly kept saying I owe you 22 cents and she kept saying no. Also I didn't have a way to pay only card and she got extremely upset over giving her 17 cents. I told her if she wants the money I can pay with card. Seriously what a horrible experience. Love the food but we're never coming back here again.

I said my child has a severe Sesame allergy and I wanted to make sure that they do not use Sesame oil to cook the food. He said rudely over and over that he doesn’t know. I asked if he could ask the kitchen and he said no. He told me to come to the establishment and read it myself. Being in the restaurant industry it was crucial to know what ingredients we used due to patrons allergies. No one wanted to cause a person allergic reaction. They literally can get a lawsuit if someone has an allergic reaction that they could have prevented by knowing the ingredients.
