This is the go to spot in Pinole. Can't go wrong with Mcdonalds. Don't know where else to eat? This is where my soul sister and I go. For many years now.

A staff, a young man was very patient showing me how to use the app. I asked lots of questions, he was very patient explaining untill I know how to used the app to maximize my savings.

Customer service is always great whenever I place an order. Today i placed an order on ubereats and my order wrong. Mark was very professional and gave us our correct order. He made sure that our order was hot fresh, and tossed in some cookies for the mistake. Customer service has long been forgotten at many establishments however Mark has raised the bar when it comes to making customers happy!! Awesome work!

The morning staff usually give very good customer service. I asked for certain special requests like substitute certain items in their breakfast and they almost always accommodate me. I highly recommend breakfast here during the morning.

A lady cut in front of me at the drive through (she didn’t even order just drive up to the window) she was making absolutely bogus complaints trying to say she’s been overcharged for a soda and received the wrong soda numerous times in the past (but didn’t say anything then) and she drove to McDonald’s just to complain today - I think she was holding an in N out cup and complaining to Kyle and Yair. They handled the complaint like absolute professionals and better than almost anyone would have. I’ve been to this McDonalds multiple times and this is one of the good ones which why I keep coming back. My order is always correct and my food comes out exactly how it’s supposed to. Working in customer service is already hard enough without having to deal with stuff like that. Kyle and Yair handled the situation as quickly as possible so they could continue serving other people and I really appreciated that as I had to get to work.

I love this place and I have been going here since I was in the 5th grade. Recently, they hired an employee who is always so unenthusiastic which is okay, but like cmon why does he always have to take my order each time I visit. Anyway, great service (when it’s not him) and lines move very quickly.

I came here on the weekends, cool location located upstairs hill with plenty of parking. This McDonald’s meets the standards of many other locations. I would recommend it, but when you go down the hill be careful not to scrape your car as the angle is sharp.

There are many McDonald's near where I live. This McDoanald's isn't even close to me but I go there because the service is excellent and the place is clean for indoor dining. The cashier is knowledgeable and understands my order and repeats it. Seldom do you get this sort of service at other McDonald's. My favorite drink is a large ice coffee, light ice, 70 percent coffee and 30 percent milk. They understand quickly and it is done correctly which isn't always the case with other stores. When they don't understand, I revert to my backup, large sugar free french vanilla ice coffee with light ice not to embarrass the person taking the order.

When did mc Donald's change the big breakfast ? It looks like an egg McMuffin taken apart and put in a big breakfast container when I told the worker at the window it was wrong should be scrambled I was told that's how they are if so why isn't it changed on the menu ? This place has a tremendous parking area which I love because parking is so tight everywhere. It can be a little confusing at night time to really understand where the drive-thru entrance and exit is so just be careful you don't enter the wrong direction or vise versa.

Everything is self automated now these days. Seldom human interaction. So atmosphere was "meh" food was ok for what I needed, which was fast and ready to go.

I ordered some buttermilk chicken tenders and they were just cooked not stale and hard. McDonald's loses a star for having Hornets in their play ground.

At 8:30am on a Saturday, the drive-thru line was long, but it progressed steadily. McDonald's staff members were friendly and my order was correct.

The drive through line was to the end of the parking lot. Inside there were maybe 4-5 people ahead of us in line. Pretty busy place for 2 pm, I thought.

It's McDonald's...what more do you expect? And in normal fast food fashion, they got the order wrong. But was already home and wasn't worth going back.

One of the fastest McDonald's I have been to. They have machines to put it your order which really makes it easy to choose. Not All the McDonald's have it.

This is my favorite McDonald's restaurant in the immediate area. They are always steadily busy which means that the food is regularly freshly made. The staff is nice, the fries are crispy(most of the time), and parking isn't an issue. The location can be tricky if you've not been there before. All in all, I'm a fan, and I recommend this place.

I'm here about once a week with my McDonald's app. They definitely put the fast in food. I'm always getting it to go and usually in and out of there under 8 minutes. Only 1 instance of where they forgot part of my order, and another where I was there for probably 20 minutes because of another customer. Service is so so, but for a McDonald's it's above avg over other Mickey Ds.

I tend to visit on off times, which means shorter lines, always nice. The food is typical fare, but I've liked their fish sandwiches and French fries. I also like their iced coffee.

Much better now that there are 2 lanes in the drive through. Diet Dr. Pepper tasted more like brown seltzer water. And I wish that they would hold out the card swiper rather than take it and run it themselves. Other franchises do that. All and all, it's McDonald's.

This McDonald's has always had its ups and downs sure it's not really visible from street view, the only thing you can see is the freeways Big M emblem. But it's right off the exit easy access if you know the area or even if you are new it's easy to find. McDonald's has had its bad times in not going to get into details. Since I been going to this place the new employees are ok some are good at giving service, past few times I been going there I get friendly people to help me and they are not shady with ketchup or ranch dressing bbq etc, you just have to ask. Oh yeah drive thrus are mostly busy during 11am-1pm and from 5pm and up it just depends.

It was a sunny Sunday afternoon during COVID. We ordered Filet-O-Fish meals at driveby, and also saw several people ate at their vehicles. The sandwich and fries were fine when they were still hot. However, restaurant personnel forgot to put ketchup and napkins in the bag.

Who took a little while going to the drive-thru. But everything was nice and hot when I got it.

Normal McDonald's fare. Drive thru open to midnight on Saturday's. Frys are usually a bit overcooked. It's a bit off the main road and no signage visible from the freeway. All in all, just an average McDonald's.

I meannits not the best and usually if you go there from 2:45-4:00 there are usually middle school kidswaiting outside to come in or just hanging around. It os very chaotic.

Do to the fact that there was no one there to have orders taking they messed up my order. I understand I had a large order but once my order was taken it was repeated to me correctly, but instead I received cold fries, was missing 2 ordeir of fries, gave me the wrong burger and drink plus the nuggets were cold. But in all their customer service skills were up to part. Eventually my other was corrected with no problem.

I think it would have been better if the Jr high kids weren't all hanging around. They were leaving trash and cussing. I try to take it with a grain of salt I was young once but it seemed like they were being brats on purpose. So check the time before they get out of school or much later.

Some workers do not know how to make iced coffee. What I ordered didn't have any sweetness so I asked it to be redone, but the person said to me that there is no sugar in regular iced coffee. When I said that is not correct, she was adamant that there is no sugar in the recipe. I had to insist that she redo it and check her recipe. Then she asked me how much I wanted. I had to tell her that I don't know the recipe, but it should have some sweetness to it. Finally she went back and added some liquid sugar.

I had a bad experience on my order I did order curbside pick up after I placed my order and after waiting 30 minutes for my food to come nothing happened so I went inside and ask for my food i had to get my food my self I don’t see the point of ordering online if I still have to go and get it my self, when I got to my place all food was cold that means they already have done but didn’t want to take it to the car please don’t do to this specific place is not worth it

Go there a few times a week . Usually for a quick lunch that turns quickly into an in store visit from outside drive in order from a car. You are just as likely to get a wrong order as a right one. Once ordered no cheese and got no buns on 2 burgers. Just meat pickles cheese etc. Thrown in the bag with no bun. I'd recommend you check your order for correctness before you drive away or leave inside. You will get it their way and that will mean a trip back inside. Where you can be 20 minutes getting a new order

Service is bad to often. Meals missing ingredients or food not cook thoroughly.

This location almost always messes up our orders. There’s always something off, a wrong kind of burger, or small drink/fries instead of the large ones we paid for. There’s almost always something they do wrong with our orders and at this point it’s actually impressive. I don’t think the staff members do it on purpose, I believe they’re just doing their jobs as best they can. Maybe there’s something wrong with the registers where they input item selections. Or something wrong with their headset at the drive-thru, but I’ve also gone inside to order & still they mess up. So I think it’s more likely that management is doing a poor job in it’s training, in which case it’s management that needs more training. If you order to-go from this place then make sure to check everything in the bag. Don’t just look in the bag for the boxes & wrappers, open/unwrap them. So that you don’t get home and find a McChicken inside of a wrapper that says Double Cheeseburger.

Be careful . They are not always correct about the contents of your order . I just ordered two hash browns, two sausage biscuits and two cinnamon rolls . When they gave the order , I asked if the hash browns were in the bag . They said yes. I get home and they are not . It js not the first time it happens

The restaurant was stale, needed some fresh air, tables were dirty, and had to ask for a rag to clean my table, only cause we were tired and hungry. Otherwise, we had gone somewhere else

Review is for online app plus the food experience. Not the actual restaurant, service there is great. Online deals are great but only because the quality is seriously lacking in those food items. There hasn't been a big Mac yet that hasn't had small hoof chunks. Every other bite is grit and bone. Pleasant experiences are few and far in between.

This is absolutely the worse McDonald's. As recent as 10/4/18, and for a quick lunch, I purchased the 4-piece Chicken Tenders, 1 Cheeseburger, and a Large Coke. So, the experience of the drive-thru wasn't quick at all, like typically the other McDonald's in the area. I was in the drive-thru for about 30 minutes. But I was thinking, the Chicken Tenders are worth the wait. WRONG!!!....The only thing that tasted good from that meal was that of the soda. MEAL RESULTS: The Chicken Tenders were dry, over-fried and seem that it was sitting under the heat lamp way too long. Then I took a large bite from my Cheeseburger, swollen it and attempted to take another bite where I then realized the meat tasted and smelled funny, and I just immediately spit it out and threw out the rest of the food. However, my Tara Hills McDonald's experience didn't end there. An hour after the regretful Cheeseburger bite, I then spent the other half of my day on the toilet. No Good. For the Spanish speaking patrons....No Bueno.

I was a weekly customer of this Tara Hills Pinole branch and of McDonalds for years up until today. I haven't been back to McDonald's since the birth of my son two years ago. Over the past few weeks I've been going thru the drive-thru and ordering Happy Meals for the first time. When I asked for a Happy Meal for my two year old son, I was asked in the drive-thru if I wanted a girl or boy toy. I asked what kind of toy they had for options and again, I was told they only have toys for either a boy or a girl. I was wondering for a second what decade I am living in. I asked for the Manager on duty and I asked him why is there a gender associated with the toy and it would be more specific to just state "do you want a Pokemon or teacup toy" and let the parent (or child) choose. The manager smirked at me and blew me off and said, 'thanks for the feedback' in a sarcastic tone. I came back two more times hoping to see a change without any change with today being the last. Toy choices should be based on kids' personal interests, and not on their gender. Toys are gender neutral, what is not neutral is the way toys are marketed and influencing child development. Well, guess what McDonald's, my son Noah, loves playing with the 'girl' tea-pot I got him and has been his favorite toy for weeks. We are in 2018 now McDonald's. I guess I'll just go to a competitor down the street. Many leading companies are removing gender marketing bias for toys over the past two decades. Remember Target removing all gender-based marketing for toys in 2015?

I love McDonald’s don’t get me wrong… But the drive through staff is sooo rude. One young lady specifically. If you ask a question, it is met with huge attitude and frustration. If you correct what was ordered- she says oh my god this lady said xyz. Asking her for a happy meal toy was the last straw. She told me what I couldn’t have and what I couldn’t switch. I asked to speak with the manager and all he could do was apologize. I will never go to McDonald’s in the afternoon. Her attitude is just that bad.

Have one of the best coffee but it's sad that the people that they hired have no idea how to make it. 95% of the time I order the same at any location my 12 sugar 4 cream it's never right. Most of the time it's not hot but warm and i have to repeat my order 3 or 4 times for one thing(coffee). SMH.

Great location and clean, but everything I ordered was subpar compared to other McD’s. Fries were barely warm and all shirveled and brown. Chicken sandwich patty was incredibly tiny and flat. Boo!!!

This morning decided to get a Big breakfast that suppose to have pancakes, eggs, English muffin, sausage snd hash brown - sausage and pancake syrup was missing. Not a single word from the staff in the drive through, though I realize their job is easiest when there are no customers, I shouldn't be made to feel like a burdon or unwelcome. I can live with that, but my main problem is that the food was terrible from this location. Soda? Mostly carbonation, McChicken and fries tasted like they were fried in old oil from a dirty fryer and the big mac somehow had a soggy middle bun 5 mins after ordering. Got a chicken sandwich meal. Had long strain of hair inside. Yummy. Threw up and gagged. Called health department and made complaint. Got money back and noticed employees not wearing hat or pulling hair back. This is rule as inspector stated and they dont have to wear hair net. I just spent $20.00 dollars for two cheeseburgers a fry and nuggets. They forgot the barbecue sauce and the way the add looked and for 20 bucks I'm assuming you would atleast get double cheeseburgers... This is the last time I go to McDonald's. I can’t tell you how many times my order is wrong because the order taker is to busy on there phone or just plainly unable to understand the English language. I don’t know why I went back today after my last experiences. The fries are cold, old, some burnt. I just wanted fries! Drove away with mushy nasty fries. The food seems to always be cold. Disappointing. It’s as if there’s zero quality control here.
