Usually quick service. The last time I was there, the interior music was so loud that I couldn't hear my name being called and they left my food sitting on the counter for 20 minutes.

Nice new seating & its a relaxing and rustic feel. No more bright cartoon colors in the seating & tables. Wood instead. Great service and food.

This is the best Tbell in the area. Love the people and the way they make the food.

The only thing I don't like about this place is that they rush to give you the food and they don't ask what hot sauce you want. They could be better at their service. A nice location, I wasn't too fond of the "No Cashier" lobby since it's nice to order with people sometimes but I guess it's slowing becoming all digital but besides that is was good.

They Did Seem To Be Short On Employees, But No One Else Had Ordered After I Did, And One Man Was Walking Around Pouring Soda For Himself And Drinking It, And Playing Around When He Could've Been Cooking My Food...

Best Taco Bell in the Richmond/San Pablo area. I come here with my wife past midnight and the service is always on point even that late at night. The guy who is there on night shifts is a great employee and we’ve seen him working solo before but still delivering good service.

Actually very professional, my local spot wasn't open at the time I was traveling, but this place was a change of pace. Super professional, no mistakes, and very patient.

We only used the drive through. Food was good as usual. We were able to use an app reward to get some extras for free. Highly recommend to always use the app to accumulate rewards.

Honestly this is the best tacobell I have ever been too. It's always spotless, efficient, and employees are super friendly and genuinely seem happy. Even when they are slammed which is often anytime I go. Order has always been on point with no mistakes. I appreciate the efforts put forth and whomever manages this place really has a great thing going. Only if all fastfood was ran in this manner. Always my pitstop on my way to San Pablo Casino 🎰❤️

This is now my go to Taco Bell because they are the only facility that still offers breakfast. All the others in the area have stop serving breakfast so this restaurant is busy every morning. I like their breakfast burritos

The drive thru was long, but it moved pretty quick & food was well prepared. The 23rd & Barrett location(closer) computers were down forcing people to drive wayy across town, but the San Pablo Town Center T. B. was worth the travel😁and 23rd & Barrett's T. B. should've been CLOSED! Then they shut the lights off bc cuz folks were still trapped pulling in b4 cars could pull around & out!🤦‍♀️🤬😟🤯

This is actually a really great location. It's super clean, decorated all out for Halloween, has the friendliest, kind staff, and a clean bathroom (that you have to ask an employee to open up for you).

Drive thru is decent. Dine in is ok too. Service has been consistently good. Yeah some of the things cost a bit more, but its not too much of a big deal.

Good variety of Mexican fast food

They've upgraded and cleaned out this fast food outlet. The food is fresher and the kitchen is more organized. They are quicker in getting the freeloaders out of the place. The ones who pick up the cups from the garbage cans and go in to fill up on the sodas. The restrooms are locked and the workers will let you in thereby keeping them cleaner. No more folks taking paper towel or sponge baths and taking up space and time for the paying customers. I'm giving them 4 stars as encouragement and will have them strive for 5. Keep up the good work.

Never been inside but it looks at least decently kept up. Drive thru is usually fast and only had 2x out of a hundred visits end up with error on their side. (Wrong or missing item).

Atmosphere is... Taco Bell. Service at this location is usually pretty good. Food? They made me enchiritos after the special deal was over. Every TB would go up to straight 5s if they'd bring the enchirito back for good.

Food itself was 2.5 stars. Even by Taco Bell standards the cheese wasn’t melted and the burritos were dry. The breakfast is great and all 3 shifts have good staff which is rare at a Taco Bell now a days. 4 stars total but closer to 3.

Good for a taco bell. Kind of frustrating though because when you go through the drive-thru they always seem to forget something. Especially when you order chips & nacho cheese, they seem to forget to give you cheese. Very frustrating, however if you call them about it they will really fix the problem for you if you go back. Overall a good taco bell.

This Taco Bell in This location is clean and maintained very well. Although, I like the Mexican American Fast Food, it can never replace the authentic meals made by authentic Spanish cooks. Now a days if your well prepared with ingredients then it could be a thin line between fast food taco bell and fast food street vendor. I like the street vendors but I'd rather support the an establishment who's already gone through the hoops and that are paying taxes just like you and I. With that said and shared, Every time I stop by I can never shy away from their chaluppas. They have a few different kind but all of them are very tasty and never boring to the taste bud. The place is hardly crowded and that's because more people are going to the drive thru. Walking in is no different than driving thru. Ordering inside is now with a kiosk but if you prefer ordering with a human touch by all means walk up to one of the lazy workers that's behind a register and order away.

I ate at taco Bell twice in a year, and both times after eating there I had a funny taste left in my mouth. I'm not sure what's going on but it just wasn't as good as it used to be. therefore I'm going to give taco Bell three stars.

Went here the other night and I was told they didn't except cash. Card transactions only. I had only cash. I went to the jack in the box next to Taco bell instead. They took cash and card. I don't understand why one did but the other didn't. Right nextdoor to one an other.... I don't know.

Hot as hell inside the restaurant makes it uncomfortable. They didn't have the Mexican pizza nor the mango drink I got something else the service was ok. This taco bell is better than the pinole taco bell you can't even get help at pinole location.

Food is alright there. For awhile, I couldn't order the cinnamon twists. Every time I did, it made me sick and tasted like old oil. And like they fixed the problem though. Good for a quick and cheap bite. They need to remodel the interior though. It's pretty old.

This taco bell is a hit or miss. The last time i went i wasn't completely satisfied and they did mess up my order. They did bring back the Frito burrito which i was excited about but wasn't so great. They definitely are skimpy on products so you get alot of shell/tortilla and nothing else

Usually a great experience there it would be better if they had good back up staff at night time if you wake up if you want Taco Bell at 3 a.m. I've been there probably 10 times around that time in the morning and 7 of those times they can't cook because people didn't show up for their shift which sucks when you wake up and you're hungry and you like oh my gosh I would love some Taco Bell and you go and they're not able to serve you still open but they won't serve you you can't make any purchases they really need to correct that.

Everything was made wrong to some degree or another, placesl is clean and staff was kind, overall decent location until the guy came in holding a near empty handle of Captain Morgan lol.

The girls are unhelpful rude they have kiosks and you must order from that some people are not sure how to use it and they act like your bothering when you ask for assistance. Food is good if you can get them to prepare as you rewues and how there supposed to be made. Them there at that taco bell are extremely stingy when it comes to sour cream there suppose to put I full squeeze on your food however not once but every time I go there's only sour cream on one end of the burrito or chalupa. I've mentioned it numerous times doesn't make since. And does no good. Price is like every where else high.

The customer service was friendly and efficient at the counter. However, the person cleaning the bathroom did not come out to allow the customer to use the bathroom. He took 15 mins without letting me know he was cleaning and did not let me go. I was in so much pain holding it I was about to burst. This is ridiculous and very in professional. Taco bell on San Pablo Towne center. Saddened by the cruelty.

My worst experience at this location so far. One of the items I ordered was a Chalupa Supreme, it was soggy and tasted funny. I got 3 Doritos tacos, 2 of them had broken shells. I also got some of the new nuggets and they were so over cooked that they were like little rocks. I was getting the nuggets for my toddler 😐. When I got to the drive through window my order was handed to me so quickly that I was shocked. The food must have been sitting there a while. The cashier didn't say hello or have a nice day. He just handed me the credit card machine so I could pay. He then passed me the order and walked away. Customer service is at an all time low!

I WILL NEVER EAT AT THIS LOCATION AGAIN. BLACK INK WAS ON THE PAPER THAT WRAPS YOUR FOOD. YES, BLACK INK. I STARTED TAKING FOOD OUT FOR MY SON. THEN I NOTICED ALOT OF BLACK INK WAS ON MY THUMB. I WAS CURIOUS WHERE IT CAME FROM. I WIPED MY FINGERS OFF AN STOP THINKING ABOUT IT. AFTER SCRABBLING THRU THE BAG TO GET THE REMAINDER OF THE FOOD OUT TO EAT AND THEN EATING IT. I SAW MORE INK ON MY OTHER HAND FINGER TIPS. I REALIZE IT CAME OFF THE WRAPPER. I TOOK THE PAPER INSIDE AND NOTIFIED THE MANAGER.

I order 5 layer burritos every time I stop at taco bell ,is all . But the 2 times I been there I get 1 or 2 of my items and the rest regular bean burritos, like i won't notice. I give them one star for been irresponsible and not getting my order right . The second star is for there speed they did get me out of there real fast. Thnx but, no thnx.

I don't know what's been going on at this location but it's really disappointing. I paid for extras. $3 in extras. Like cheese, sour cream etc. And nope...didn't put any of it on. And I asked for no cheese sauce and shredded cheese instead. No shredded and lots of cheese sauce. Also, I asked for mild sauce.....no sauce given. I hate leaving bad reviews. I wasn't going to but this is now the 4th time this has happened. It's not just a one off thing. Not giving customers what they pay extra for is unacceptable. Please get it together. I'm going to move this info along to corporate because I don't see this changing otherwise. Only had this problem at this location.

I ordered the Mexican pizza veggie and they gave me one with ground beef. I was very disappointed and I asked the Woman at the drive-through and she told me it was veggie customer service

Really well designed, clean and modern Taco Bell. However, I stood at the register for a solid 5 minutes with no assistance until I gave up and decided to use the self help, when somebody asked if I wanted to order something. Like I was just standing at the register for my health. After I ordered, I then witnessed another customer have to do the EXACT same thing after waiting for some time with no greeting, and no cashier at the register whatsoever. I'm baffled. Waste of "lovely ambiance" when the service is so upsetting.

First of all nobody smiles like they should. All the tables were filthy I asked the cashier for a wet rag that I may clean the table off with. I literally seen him grab some dry paper towels and just wiped the table without spraying or wetting them. This is very unsanitary. If he and the rest of the employees don't like their job then they shouldn't be there. To me that was very rude, disrespectful and nasty.

Recently became a fan of taco bell but I've realized something that always happens after i eat it. I end up getting a strange, slightly bitter after taste that does not go away until the next day. Not even brushing my teeth and tongue get rid of it. It comes back after a few hours. What is this? Is it bad oil? Is it chemicals in the packaging? This happened in this location and another.

Staff was very weird, i sat in the corner on my lunch break trying to enjoy my food. I took my medication for stomach issues and after that the staff wouldnt stop staring at me, they came and took pictures of me multiple times and had a worker clean my table while i was still using it. Bought a full lunch and was only able to access the bathroom after providing a reciept to the person who took my order. They proceeded to talk about me in Spanish about how i looked homeless and was taking too long to leave. I work nearby and was just trying to enjoy a small lunch with the happy hour deals but i did not feel comfortable at all from the staff constantly going on about me sitting in the corner looking weird.

I waited over 20 minutes in the drive-thru line and then the two things I went for they were out of. They were out of nachos and they were out of the Mexican pizza. How do you run out of nachos on a holiday weekend when you're still supposed to be open for another 4 hours. The worst Taco Bell experience I've had in years

They should stop pre-making food and letting it sit until someone buys it. I've never seen that with burritos and tacos. They'll get soggy/ infuse with the wrapping paper when they dry out. It's not edible

This is the taco bell closest to me, and often times when I come here the items have nearly no filling. Such as the photo I added, has 2 pieces of chicken. This specific order, every single item we got (5 items) was the same as this photo. Almost nothing in it. If I wanted to just eat bread, i would’ve done that at home 😭. Idk about anyone else but I would rather wait 5 minutes longer to get my food to know that it’s being made properly. The side cups of nacho cheese are almost never filled up also. Like now I got all these chips and no cheese man 😔 I also recieved a wrong item, so I just went inside to get it fixed- no biggie. But, no one acknowledged me for almost 3 minutes. Taco bell is like 70% of my diet this is all I have guys pls slay it up a lil harder in the kitchen!! 😔😔😔

I got 2 bean burritos with extra sauce they barely put any sauce on them charged me 50 cents per burrito for the extra sauce hardly any cheese on them and they were so small I don't see how you can call it a burrito and it was damn near $5 for two bean burritos that used to be a dollar a piece they were twice the size they are now when they were a dollar

They require you to buy a drink to get the supposedly free taco for the World Series promotion. No other Taco Bell does this. Not worth the time or money. There are many tacos trucks nearby on 23rd street if you want mexican food at a reasonable price.

Food was good but the service not so much. We asked to use the restroom and they refused unless we order food first which is okay but not like we were going to run away. The employee was short with us and so we ended up ordering as asked.

The service at this Taco Bell location was very unprofessional and unpleasant. They are utterly useless. Also, in my opinion, it is racially motivated. They provided poor service when they noticed someone with black complexion. Taco Bell's standard has dropping so badly. If I don't feel welcome somewhere, I guess I'll just stop shopping there. Great place to get tacos but AVOID the new Kiosk machine they have at all costs!! Go straight to the cashier. I ordered with a friend using the Kiosk and we people that would come in after we did would get their food before we did, we waited 30 mins and still nothing and the place was fairly empty. I had to get up and go to the cashier and ask what was taking so long and the answer I got was "The cook didn't see the order" and the cook looked like she didn't even cared at all, they didn't even apologized for the inconvenience. I do not recommend this Taco Bell at all, and also AVOID using the KIOSK!!!

We had specifically made an order online and came to this location with our written down order. Online is was $22 the drive thru messed up on everything else I ordered besides 2 things because we didn't even order. We paid about $33 and when I called to see what the issue was no one answered or rather than my "call ended".

It’s about 6 pm January 4, 2022. So I looked at the line of cars in the drive-through. Three or four cars there. I walked into the lobby and in front of the counter. No one in the customers in restaurant . I waited there for about five minutes maybe four Minutes. No response , no eye contact, No, Can I help you. My question is, “Is this Behavior Acceptable?” So I walked out.

Damn! I went there 23 times yes 23 times around 6pm and they said we are closed, then I went around to the Drive Thru to order something and they still said we are closed, I can’t believe the 23 times I’ve been trying to get food from there, they’re always closed. I really love the chicken chalupa that’s the reason I go there but they’re always closed, next time I’ll go straight to Jack in the box next to it, they have dining room open until 10pm and their Drive Thru is efficient! And better staff response when something is going on!

Place was packed and prices are higher than advertised and other taco bells. My kids like the $5 box however its $5.99 here which isnt as advertised. Drive tru is normally packed and customer service can be horrible. Wish there was a better location close by.

I were there for a delivery pick up, one of the employee looked over my phone and checked the name. I waited there for 15 minutes and later on she told me they don’t have my order. Why didn’t you tell me right away? I spent 15 minutes thinking they’re making my order. Worst customer service ever.

Listen I did go for a late meal ordered my food as usual. At the checkout I give my bill and right away I'm told there is NO change at all. It's a business and if you don't want to loose business then have change at all times. I then try to negotiate something such as adding more food to my order and cashier didn't even try to help with that. Like really you must have some change. I honestly think the closing procedures were done and they just wanted to leave.

The manager was a real jerk. I ordered a veggie burrito, and they gave me sausage. The manager wasn't apologetic and didn't even care. It was their mistake, and she had the audacity to act like that.

I came to order my food and I got the most horrible most awful Person ever she is a manger and her name is Deysi Diaz R she is the most rudest and most horrible person she need to get retrained and to she need to learn manners and how to take an order correctly ask questions about the number one and what was the difference between supreme and classic and it was horrible. I order 2 combos with 2 large drink. One of my drink was a confetti freeze, they gave me a small and charge me for large. I order cinnamon twist, which I did not even get. I ask for the green salsa Verde package and instead they charge me for a little container of sauce. I didn't noticed that my items was missing until I got home, too tired to go back.

Sunday Sept 7th got $50 of food for my kids and those kids were all high out there minds!!! They leaned out the window and asked me which drink was which!? How was I supposed to know what soda they gave me? I asked for no sour cream in some items as my kid won't eat it if It has it. I confirmed with them twice that I said no sour cream in anytHing and They Still Put Sour Cream! They also put LETTUCE AND RANDOM CHIPS AND CHEESE IN THE BURRITOS . they were terribly thin and hard too. It was a busy night but throwing random ingredients in there is crazy! The staff at this location are extremely racist for no apparent reason. They just do not like black people at all. I ordered my food paid for it and the order was simply skipped over and never made I just decided to get a refund for the hole order I wish I could say this was the first time I’ve had this experience here at 40 San Pablo Towne Ctr in San Pablo but it isn’t it’s an ongoing thing. It is so sad it’s 2023 this is America I am an American with money that is Green it shouldn’t matter what my race or nationality is. The staff here are very sad individuals and someone from corporate needs to come down and fix something or someone. They looked to see who ordered the food and then simply decided not to make the order I waited over 30 minutes and no one said anything at all. This is truly so sad. Had many chicken quesadillas from different Taco Bell in my lifetime! But our order here was something else, we didn’t get few of our items, and I know people say check your bag. Well we were on the highway 25seconds after we got the food. So after about 11 miles out we were looking for items and like I mentioned earlier, not just that our items were missing. Our 3 quesadillas were not even cut.
