My most favorite bar in the whole wide world. Fun, interesting, and generous drinks. Fun, interesting, and kind people! It's also a great place to learn more about Richmond's rich history. The Polka Dot Lounge is full of artifacts and you can learn a lot while sipping and having fun.

It’s my favorite place in the neighborhood. A frequent hang out with Besties and very welcoming place to go where to feel right at home. This place has improved the neighborhood; the owners are very community minded and there’s a beautiful Bee garden. I am grateful this place survived the pandemic. There is a Taqueria next door with good food you can bring in or a that are also good. Oh! And dog friendly! 💗

They don't serve food but let you bring it in and there's a great Mexican place next door. The only thing that keeps me from coming regularly is that parking is hard.

We were getting food at Tacos El Tucan next door and while waiting for our food, we decided to stop in. Vibe was chill with music playing. Different areas to seat and the patio area looks big. Best part was we were able to bring our food into the bar and hang out, although no outside drinks.

I love this place! The outdoor area design and landscaping give it a very quaint and intimate feel, but there's also plenty of space if you want to spread out and socialize: so perfect if you're on a date or come to kick it with your friends. There is also plenty of unique spaces inside. They have drink specials and beer on tap to satisfy your thirst, plus there are food options via a taco truck or restaurant next door, which you can eat inside the bar. I love that this spot is in Richmond. It adds liveliness to the area.

It's a nice hangout spot. Small, yet cozy. Friendly bar staff. Sharon does an excellent job in the kitchen, as well! A hidden gem in the Rich.

One of the East Bay's best bars. Fantastic cocktails, solid beer selection. The scene is very friendly with a mature vibe. Stunning interior with multiple comfortable seating areas. The patio is like being in someone's beautifully landscaped backyard.

Lovely bar, lots of specialty cocktails and options for something unique. Great beer selection. Indoor and outdoor seating. Must show vaccination proof and ID at the door. Food options are nearby and you're allowed to bring your food into the bar to eat there. The staff is awesome and friendly overall a very cool and chill vibe perfect for hanging out with friends.

Friendly staff and cool atmosphere to hangout & catch-up with old pals. Very clean and well-kept facility. They allow you to bring food in nearby restaurants and food trucks since I don't offer food.

The staff are very friendly and attentive but very busy with all the drink orders and cleaning up. We hung out in the patio area which was nicely decorated and cozy with wooden benches, high tables and chairs, private event area, and music from the speakers around the perimeter of the area. Drinks are good but cocktails are a bit on the tiny side. Wish they were bigger. Their menu offers a variety of beers, cocktails, liquors and other beverages. Parking is a bit of a challenge with the tiny parking lot and the street parking. There are spots to park, but you have to drive around the side streets to find it. Next door, you can get Mexican food from Tacos el Tucan or from the ice cream and waffle place next door.
