I travel all over DFW for work. This is the Best Whataburger in DFW in every way. Atmosphere, food quality, friendly staff, speed, etc. I go out of my way to stop here.

Winnie the manager here is awesome. If you notice most customers go to a review site to complain and it's usually customer miscommunication. Winnie went out of her way to make things right when I accidentally made an order for am instead of pm. She again was awesome. And while I was waiting I saw her running from one side of the restaurant to the other making sure everything was being done right in the kitchen and customers were happy in the lobby. Whataburger needs to give her a raise...a very hard worker and very professional.

I was impressed. Previously I went to a Whataburger in North Dallas on Regal Row and it was terrible. At this location, I ordered a Whataburger with fries and a medium drink. The tables were clean, the cashier was very friendly, it took less than a few minutes to get my order, the food was delicious, and the cashier was making sure the floors and tables were clean after the afternoon rush was over. I'm not sure if it's like that all the time, but for a Monday afternoon, this was a great place to stop and eat.

I couldn’t believe how polite these people were. I’m blown away. Most Whataburger locations have been going downhill but not this place. The food was hot unlike other places I have been. The food was prepared perfectly and not just thrown together like mush… This will be the only whataburger we eat around the area.

Order was perfect and everyone who helped us was polite. One worker in particular, Ariana, was very pleasant not only to speak with, but to see happily interacting with the other customers. :) I live closer to Sanger but I will make the trip to come back to this location for the atmosphere!

Food is always excellent. I get all my burgers plain and dry so the condiments don’t interfere with the great taste of the beef. Fries and onion rings are delicious. I drive through so atmosphere is an n/a.

My review of this place has changed. The manager on duty tonight took control of their staff and definitely turned things around. Seeing a team meeting, a regrouping session, sometimes has to be done and it was definitely needed. The manager on staff didn't shy away, handled it very well. Will be back!! Food was, staff was kind and courteous.

This place is pretty much always busy. Drive through can be a nightmare, but the staff do the best they can and keep it moving not super fast. So if you are in a hurry I would not suggest you go here. The food is always good.

I would gladly give it 5 stars on everything but the drive through line is just awful, so if you are in a hurry don't go through it. Go inside and you will be out and on your way much faster. I'm not entirely sure why there's takes so long they have 2 lines going, may just be execution. But besides that the foods always good and staff is always friendly.

It's still the same, sometimes breakfast is good and sometimes it's not The employees would rather chat with each other than do their jobs went through the drive thru and that girl was laid over the counter talking and laughing instead of getting peoples food . I don't eat lunch at whataburger they are better hamburgers out there.

I come after work a lot which tends to be late, management needs to get cones to block off lane b, it never gets used when I’m there and when people order there they have to merge into the long lane a leading to confusion at times. I rarely have mistakes with my order and the employee are nice. The wait is so long though, need more people working cause it’s annoying waiting 30 minutes sometimes more after a long shift. It’s not fast food at this point

Depending on the day, you might be waiting for an hour but the food is good. However, they will argue with you if they leave something out that you paid for. I had order a couple of orders of bacon and the cook argued with the guy helping me and they made me get out of the drive thru line and bring my bad and my receipt in. That was a bit frustrating when they still had an attitude when they realized they were the ones wrong.

I placed an online order of pancakes and fries for my kid at 623 for pick up between 649/645 but when I arrived, nothing was ready and they hadn't even started cooking the fries. I had to wait almost 10 mins before we had our order. The whole point of ordering ahead is to have it ready.

This location is probably the worst one I've been to; consistently inattentive employees providing poor service. The long wait times are something most people expect from Whataburger but, when the person taking my order can't get through one meal without having to start over and then it's still wrong! Of the last 4 times I've been to this location, the order has been wrong 3 times. The last time, I had wilty chunks of lettuce hearts on my cold burger...I guess the wait was for fresh fries because those were fine. I really struggle to want to return to this location which is too bad because it's the one nearest work.

Sunday morning, place was packed, but everyone pretty much had thier order already. I waited 11 minutes for 2 sausage taqitos. At 9 minutes wait, I started to say something to management who were cooking. The gentleman waiting for his order had been there 21 minutes. The poor cashier was handling counter, orders carried out to cars waiting and door-dash type people. The black lady manager kept eyeballing me and when she finally put my order up, she had the nerve to tell the cashier she had orders waiting as she ran another order out the front door. I will never go to that one again.

The drive-through is VERY VERY VERY slow. I waited 27 MINUTES to get my order. My order was cold. I'm glad I had sauces put on the side instead of in the sandwiches, or I would have had a soggy mess. In all DFW fast foods I have been to, this takes the prize 10x more than any other restaurant.

This place continues to disappoint. We have given numerous second chances over the years and have tried to be understanding but the service and attention to detail just isn't there. If you are not eating at the location you are gambling with very high odds that your order will be wrong and you will have to either accept it as is or drive all the way back up and get it made again. The managers won't engage you, they will send an hourly employee out and just stay hidden behind the little wall making eye contact but offer no apologies for the hassle. Too many choices close by. Save yourself the headache or go to another location further away. Oh and calling corporate just gets you a canned apology and a coupon to use on another order that they will mess up. Yes, this has actually happened to us.

I understand going at 1:00 PM on a Saturday can be busy, but it took almost 10 minues to even get to order with the car in front already at the speaker. Then another 20 minutes to even get the food. Only 2 burgers and nothing special! They had 2 lanes and the one to the left had 3 cars go past which were not even in line when I placed my order. Took only 5 minutes to get home and fries were already cold. Then noticed that I had ordered just the burger and they charged me for a full meal! I am usualy a die hard Whataburger fan, but that day was a miserable experience. Had it been my first, I would never go back.

Takes forever. Drive thru or curbside or dine in…expect a 30+ min wait. I have ordered in the app several times thinking it would help considering they could make my order ahead of time and arrived at my expected ready time and still had to wait 30+ min. I would go out of my way to go to a different location if I were you. Even if longer driving time, I’m sure you’d get your food faster with less mistakes on your order.

Did a tornado hit. 5 employees walking around in circles. Drive through was closed cause they were pressure washing outside. No one in line inside, still inside looked like a tornado hit it. No one in front of me, no one in the drive through sitting here 10 minutes, gut is standing by still waiting on his order to be filled, I’m looking at the grill there isn’t a patty on it. My order still isn’t taken. JUST WOW. I needed some entertainment tonight. Ok 10 minutes later after all they I got my order timely AFTER I ordered it. There was literally no one in or outside. The fries did come out awesome though! They must have been super busy before I showed up.

Worst Whataburger food we've ever had, and we ordered through the app & had to wait 20 minutes past the expected time for the order! The burgers were old - like they were pre-made; the fries were RAW; and the onion rings were super greasy like we've never gotten from Whataburger! To pay approximately $35 for 2 meals (1 supersized & 1 ala-cart) & wait as long as we had to, the food should have been Hot & Fresh. This is the last time we go to this location for anything except taquitos & cinnamon rolls. I'm a Texas girl who grew up on these burgers, and this location used to be the best in the area! 😡

This is possibly the most consistently slow "fast-food" location I have ever experienced. Don't come here unless you have 30+ minutes to wait for your food. Morning, lunch, dinner, night time. It doesn't matter. Little to no line, it will still take roughly 30 minutes. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

This is quite possibly the worst Whataburger I've ever been to. I'm not terribly picky, but I do have specific ways I like my food. For example, I don't like ketchup on my burger and even though I requested NO KETCHUP every time, there was ketchup on the burger. It may be petty, but I don't think it should be that hard to follow simple instructions like that. When I'm paying $14 for a fast food meal, I don't feel I'm wrong in wanting it to be done right.

I’m not sure how hard it is to do certain things as I’ve never done fast food. But, if you can’t provide onion rings I assume you inform the customer not try to slip in fries and hope they won’t notice. When they ask for a specific number of ketchup, you at least give them one if not the number they asked for. When I think of whataburger my first thought shouldn’t be “ stale overpriced fries” but here we are. And 9 times out of 10 I’m right unfortunately.

My only complaint is that almost half the time I order in the drive through, my order comes out wrong. And it can be pretty annoying. It's always overnight. I speak slow and clearly but they can't seem to get it right. Maybe repeat the order back? But on a positive note, the staff is very friendly and nice! And if I go back with something wrong with my order, they are always accommodating. Just hoping the initial order method could be fixed! I think repeating the orders back would be an easy fix. Thank you

I had ubet eats deliver my order. Order was correct. But delivery of my food was BAD. It was ordered at 8:09pm. It arrived in my hands at 8:55 pm. It was promised at 8:31pm. Food was barely warm and i had to microwave it . I will NEVER use uber eats again.

Food came out quick for our pickup order, but when we got home and take our food out of the bag, this is what they call a “large” fries?! Spend extra on fries just to get the same amount as a regular? Not cool guys. Not cool. Pretty disappointed.

When someone who has never had Whataburger, comes to Texas, what do you do? You take them to Whataburger and that’s exactly what I did for my brother-in- law! Well out of all of the times I’ve been to Whataburger, I’ve never experienced such a bad experience. First off, when we got to the counter, the lady was very sassy. Then to follow, when my brother-in-law asked what was on the Bacon Butter Burger, she said “I don’t know.” He said “you don’t know what’s on the burger?” and again, she said, “no, I don’t know what’s on the burger.” As someone who has never been here and would like to know what’s on his burger, this was not only unhelpful but unprofessional. How does he know that something on the burger, is something he’s allergic to or doesn’t like? What she should of done was went to ask another employee the question and provided us with the ingredients on the burger. The situation could have been handled so much better. But anyways, once we completed our order and we got our cups and went to go get our drinks, the same lady came up behind us, as two of us had water cups and asked if we wanted to be rang up for a soda since one of us filled our drink with lemonade instead of water. Technically, yes she was in the right, because we did ask for water cups and we’re drinking lemonade but again, her delivery was beyond rude. We should’ve answered with “what do you mean? we don’t know what’s in this cup, just like you didn’t know what was on the burger we asked you about!” Either way, we laughed it off and went to find a table in which, when our food was serviced, the tone and delivery of the other employee, who was at the front, with the lady who took our order, was also rude and disrespectful. Like really! I was shocked and embarrassed to of spoken so highly of Whataburger to my brother-in-law for it to be one of the worst experiences him and I have ever had. Food was great aside from the fact that the burger my brother-in-law did get, had mustard on it and he doesn’t like mustard, which could have been avoided, but in all the atmosphere and the employees we dealt with were horrible. Will not be back.

Ordered online and was told we should expect food to be ready between 6:30 and 6:34pm. When we arrived around 6:40pm, they brought us our drinks and our receipt and said food would be 7 or 8 minutes longer. 35 minutes later, they come back and ask if I remembered what I ordered. I gave them the receipt back, expecting them to cook up the order. Instead, at 7:23pm they brought us food that had clearly been prepared way prior. (I wish I would have discovered this before leaving.) Our food was cold, the fries were soggy, my daughter's burger buns were burned, and the Coke syrup in their soda machine had clearly gone out. They've had two months to figure this stuff out with the shelter-in-place orders. I'm just shocked that that our experience was THIS bad. They should have owned up to the lost order and offered to recook it, or offered a refund or a discount. 53 minutes late for "fast food" is unacceptable.

This used to be my favorite location for many years, until I got a long black hair in my cold burger. The employees were no help and told me to call “customer support” rather than just refunding my card. Don’t trust a team full of high schoolers, they do not understand hospitality in the workplace.

Terrible experience! I waited in my car for curbside for 30 minutes past the pickup time shown on the app. Normally, I would just go inside, but I had my son was with me, and I didn't want to have to take him in and out of the car for something as simple as grabbing food. Placed my order today at 9:08am finally got my order after asking mutiple times if it was ready at 9:52am. there were a ton of people waiting 40 plus mins. while a few people were in and out. My order was made wrong and had to get it re made. Managers apoliged to mutiple upset people but had attitude and excuses as they always do here. Front desk workers complained bc previous shift never does anything or stocks anything and nothing is done about it. This location has always been a mess and its getting worse. Somthing big needs to happen here. This store is always a hot mess. 2 days ago, i sat at the drive-through speeker for 12 mins with no response with 8 cars behind me and none in front before someone took my order insiting they didn't know anyone was in line. Then set at the front of line b for 15 mins till someone came to take pament. All the wile line A is moving. Still had to go inside for my condiments bc they were left out.

Food is fine. But the service especially drive thru has gotten so slow that you can't consider this fast food anymore. If there is literally any other fast food place with a drive thru you will be in and out faster than this whata (and that seems to be consistent at many whata locations in recent years). If I want sit down dining then it still takes too long. It's the slowest place and the quality is not good enough to warrant that. I only came here today because someone gave me a gift card for Christmas

Placed online order for pickup. Cheeseburger cold....yes cold. The cheese is in a solid piece, not melted....was it even grilled at all? Chocolate shake was unavailable. Missing 4 items. Called location and was informed they couldn't credit the missing and unavailable item and I had to call customer care. Been attempting to contact customer care for 20 minutes now.... unavailable. Absolutely ridiculous.

I’ve currently been in the drive through line for 46 minutes and counting. Several cars have already asked to speak with the manager who refuses to come outside and deal with the current situation. I just received my food after sitting here for the 45 minutes for my order to be cold and not made right. Very disappointed in the service received. Jada working the second lane in the drive through was wonderful and showed so much empathy for the situation which I can respect.

Consistently gets orders wrong, takes half an hour or more to go through the drive through even when there's only 4 cars and morning staff just hands you your order and doesn't ask if you need anything before shutting the window. I keep checking back every few months and it's always a disappointment and waste of my lunch break. I've heard it's better service late at night.

Haven't been here in a while but they are like other money hungry places. They give you one dipping sauce for the whole combo and want to charge you 40 to 50 cents per additional barbecue. When you pinny pinch like that you lose customers. Last time I'm coming here.

While waiting on my food inside, I witnessed an employee bad mouth a customer in the drive thru for not noticing him being out their food. Mind you, it's raining and most have their windows up. When employees publicly bash customers then you really have to look at management and the way the facility is ran. Consistently have issues at this establishment and as much as I love Whataburger chain, this particular location seems to have some serious issues. ** Still one of the worst managed establishments in the Whataburger lineup. 15 employees on staff and usually only 2-3 actually doing any work. Wait times here are 20+ minutes consistently. DO NOT do curbside. You're better walking in and making them stare at you while you wait on your order for another 15 minutes. Horrible management, horrible staff, starts at the top. Horrible ran business.

This is, unfortunately, my hometown whataburger and I’ve held off on writing this review for many years but I’m tired of it. I’ve been to so many whataburgers traveling for work over the years and this one is by far the worst I’ve ever seen. The wait times are absolutely absurd. On a normal day you’re lucky to be out in 30 minutes. Busy time, up to an hour. I was one of two people in the drive thru on this slow morning (4/14/24) and still waited 17 minutes for food. Your order is guaranteed to be wrong. At best you’ll get zero condiments, at worst you’ll have to have your entire order remade. This location misses out on so much of my business because if I drive by and see a single car in the drive thru I pass. I thought a slow Sunday morning at 8:30 might be ok, wrong. By the time I got to eat my coffee was cold. It sucks when you’re craving whataburger. Mobile order, dine in, drive thru, all the same- awful.

Made changes to my order without telling me, or straight up got it wrong. Couldn’t do anything to make it right, and I’m not driving back to an out of town location. I would have checked the order on the spot but I was picking up a order for a group and didn’t know what everyone ordered.

Last time I will come to this location. I have sworn it off before but today was the last day I’ll ever go back! employees chitchatting and laughing no cares for customers! I placed an order online said it would be ready at 2:12. I left the restaurant at 2:51. Cold food! Just go through the drive-through don’t do takeout it’s just as bad.

****UPDATE***** They decided to call me back and said they will give me the $12.00 plus the order I originally made. Only thing is I am over 60 miles from this location. So until I am actually able to go allllllllll the way back to this location I will leave this review. This is why I called the police the night of because I didn't want to have to drive al the way back. ****ORIGINAL STORY BELOW**** This location will steal money from you if you pay in cash and cancel your order if they do not make or process your order correctly. This location (yes it is a petty amount but it's the principal of the matter, especially after being lied to by one of their shift managers) stole $12.00 from me and I did not receive my order. They claimed to have charged the full amount on my card but there was no charge. I did not receive any food nor my $12.00 back. I have had to call corporate as female manager I spoke with today chose not to help me and said I needed to wait until their operating partner got back from vacation. Yet she would not tell me when that was. The only good manager... that seemed to care was a gentlemen that worked the morning shift at around 7:30am on 4/23/24. I repeat this whataburger location has stolen money from me and is not pressed to refund me at all. Until this matter is resolved I will continue to share my story of how this location has a manager who steals money and does not refund for their mess up.

The worst Whataburger I ever ever been took me 45 minutes the drive-through and they gave me a wrong order which is cost me $70 and they didn’t answer me how long will it take to refund me the money and they give me the food and have the stuff they didn’t put it I hope they can change the staff because while back then it was pretty good restaurant, but not anymore. Everything is slow. The food is not good as used to be and is the manager is the worst.

I usually love this Whataburger, but last night on my lunch break and my chicken sandwich was completely raw. After waiting in line for 20mins it was absolutely disgusting 🤢 inedible sandwich and a gross sweet tea to go with it. Also, the staff was super rude. I don't recommend going at night.

Avoid this location! This is the third time in a month that my order has an issue. I used the drive thru. When I got home my double meat burger was missing chunks of meat like it was bitten. I called and the manager said they split the meat to see if it is cooked. She made excuses and said to come back to remake my order so now I have to waste my time and gas to go back. After I told her it looked like bites she said "you better bring your receipt because how do I know you even came to this location" and then hung up! I never leave reviews but this is too much! Why would you treat an unsatisfied customer this way?

WHATAWAIT!?! Went through the drive-thru on a Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m.. It took over 10 minutes to get my order. The drive-thru line was backed up with people waiting for their orders. I thought this was a fast food place??? My burger was greasy and so were the onion rings. Through most of it in the garbage

We went to this restaurant tonight for dinner. One other family inside waiting on their food. After we ordered, we waited 15 minutes for two burgers and two fries. In the meantime, the drive thru was moving quickly. Pushing out car after car while the inside patrons waited. Ridiculous!

I’ve noticed the quality at this Whataburger location isn’t quite up to the standard I’m used to. The taquitos are often dry, and the flavor just doesn’t match what I’ve experienced at other locations. Unfortunately, my orders are frequently incorrect as well. I hope improvements can be made to bring it up to the usual Whataburger experience.

I love Watsburger's food. Only reason for 3 stars is that the drive thru take 10 minutes on average. They have 2 lanes but I've never seen them use the second one, even with the line around the building. The manager needs to address this situation.

lately its been room temperature food at best , and Looks like handing out condiments comes out of employees paychecks at this location even if you pay extra for them!! Multiple occasions where ive ordered take out ( and reminded at the front window for extras) or delivery and I get 0 to 2 packets of spicy ketchup at most for 4 meals. Ive let it slide for a good minute but at this point its getting pretty annoying having to eat my #1 meal without spicy ketchup

Pepper Lockridge your Whataburger is probably the worst example of this great Texas food chain I have ever been to. There is no reason to wait 35 minutes for food in a drive through. The staff lack training and guess where that starts? It starts with you Pepper.

Came thru the drive thru at midnight Requested the offer on app and asked for a large drink Whoever was taking orders said it was for a medium only I asked to speak with pepper. I said im sure Pepper would give me a large drink. I pulled around to window and met TJ Humphreys He said he was the manager I asked him who was taking orders and he said he didnt know while looking towards the back of store. I have eaten at several Whataburgers around the metroplex, and Hickory Creek is the worst. The food was cold, the buns were stale and if I am not mistaken they are supposed to bring condiments when they bring your food. They don’t! The staff seems to want to laugh and play rather than provide good service. Very disappointed!

I have been coming here for last 10+ years. And there has been multiple times I have disregarding the food quality issues and the mess up orders which went through online. Today, if you look at these photos, you can tell me what in the hell are they doing with the meat? I’m missing almost a quarter of the meat from my burger. WTH is going on.

The service was ok. The person could've been nicer but I'm not upset by that. For the amount I spent everything should've been good. My salad was missing the grilled veggies I added. The lettuce was badly wilted. The tomatoes had a weird taste. It was also a lot smaller than it used to be. However the price for it went up drastically. I paid for extra cheese on my sweet n spicy bacon burger and didn't get it. The chicken on my grilled chicken sandwich was tiny. I've never seen such a tiny piece of chicken from whataburger. No crunch to the bacon or onion rings. Very soggy. Also the whata chicken was literally ice cold to the touch. For paying almost 90 dollars for everything this is such a ripoff. What happened to whataburger this past year? It's great that you're paying your employees more but you're screwing over your customers in the process. Do better!

Always slow, and the food is never anything to write home about, but they generally keep themselves on par with some of the lower end fast food joints around. Not today. I placed an order just after 0900 through their app. My food was supposed to be ready by 09:51 at the latest, and I didn't get out of the restaurant until 20 minutes after that. When i asked what they were waiting on i was told it was the pancakes. Pancakes, which take 2 minutes to make. I was curious what kind of pancakes take an hour from the time I placed my order to make, and I've attached a photo of the result. Pancakes the consistency and color of worn boot leather, alongside two bacon bits and half frozen eggs.
