This place is amazing! Authentic Mexican food, quick service with friendly people. The prices are super affordable and the rice and beans are to die for!!! My new favorite place to eat in town!!

Haha some of these Karen's complaining on their comments!!!! I stopped in today got a order of beef fajitas to go... There awesome,and so was the people that work there.. I think MI Jalisco would be great for Brownwood

A delicious meal. I had fajita quesdilla and fried ice cream. Both were wonderful. I couldn't believe how big the fried ice cream plate was.

Our waitress was great and the cook even brought the food out and was very kind. The food was great today as well.

I love Jaliscos as a local I appreciate the quality of their food so much! Plus the girls are so nice and you can pick your own seat 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

We stopped here to stretch and get some food in the kids. WOW the taco bar had everything we needed to make up some delicious, sloppy street tacos erupting with flavor!

This place is amazing, the food is outstanding, the service is fantastic, the crew is unbelievable, and they are very prompt with getting the orders out, great prices and amazing portions. Love it love it love it

Hevos a la Mexicana was very good. Pancakes plate was very good. Bacon was not so good. Tasted like old grease. Staff was great. Salsa was nice and spicy. Sadly they did not have any cremosa.

This place was better than I anticipated. They put 18 shrimp in the shrimp cocktail! It was so good too. The Deluxe nachos with chicken and beef were delicious, and the Pollo chicken with peppers and onions, covered in cheese, was absolute fire. The best part was the sopapillas. Probably the best sopapilla I've ever had. Service was great, price was more than fair, and the seats in the booth were really soft too. Would definitely recommend. Update: went here again and would leave the same review. Got mini street tacos and Monterey chicken, shrimp cocktail and sopapillas, all were amazing along with the service. Cannot recommend this place enough.

We came here after church and it wasn't busy at all. We got seated right away and decided to try the buffet. They had rice and beans, enchiladas, tamales, chicken fajitas, taco meat, flautas, and menudo! Menudo on the buffet! All the fixings; lime, cilantro, pico, lettuce, 2 types of cheese, 3 different salsas, chips, fresh fruit, and dessert! All for under 35 for 2!

Just passing through other restaurants I tried going to were closed at 10 am, seen the lights and pulled in. Great service and food.

I pass this town very occasionally and never stop, today I decided to stop by and try Mi jalisco. Do NOT REGRET STOPPING!! I ate from the buffet && loved everything, everything tasted so authentic. I will be stopping here everytime I come this way!! Service was excellent very attentive I did not get the young lady's name. LOVED IT!!!!!

This place had amazing food. We enjoyed everything we ate. The server was young and inexperienced because she presented a hot plate between me and my 2 year old grand daughter and burnt her as she was saying careful hot plate. Also if you ate elderly or have knee problems using the bathroom will be a problem. The toliet is a huge step and i mean huge step up and going down there wasnt anything to hold on to so I tweeked my knee. Prices were more than reasonable and we would most definitely go back.

These gals are busting it. They don't stop moving, working on anything and everything. The staff is great and the food is unmatched by any other in Hico. The portions are large, I typically take a to-go box. Prices are fair and proportionate to the amount of food you receive.

We stopped here traveling back home. The food was hot and fresh. The chips are thick... good if that's what you like. I wasn't impressed with the salsa. I'm not for sure what it was missing.... just tasted like tomato and kinda sweet. I would stop there again.

We stopped here traveling back home. The food was hot and fresh. The chips are thick... good if that's what you like. I wasn't impressed with the salsa. I'm not for sure what it was missing.... just tasted like tomato and kinda sweet. I would stop there again.

Wife and I went in for late supper, Dinner was good as usual but had to listen to a couple of gentlemen after they had consumed a few beers and had phone on speakers and were much louder than should be allowed

This place definitely tasted like Mexican. Like Most restaurants don’t anymore. I had a shrimp cocktail the shrimp were clean, vegetables were fresh and it only took 5 min. Staff is friendly.

The food was good, not too hot, not too bland. They made fresh lemonade for me. They turned the too loud music down when we asked them to. We will go back.

The food was pretty good, the service was great. The restaurant looks a little old and dirty, but everything tasted good.

Very much enjoyed our meal, had great flavor. Definitely will eat here again. Our service was spectacular. Maya, our waitress hopefully I spelled that correctly was very sweet and attentive. Only reason it didn’t receive a full 5 stars was the restroom was in need of updating.

Nice Place, great service, We got the fajitas and Quesidilla and the food was tasty just a bit to greasy for it to be a 5 star. Worth trying if you are driving through Hico.

Food is probably great but the mice running around inside give it a heck no! I give 3 stars because don't want to hurt small business but get the rodents the heck out or people will be walking out like we did.

AC not working, hot as hell!! Flies everywhere! Food was hot, Chile Relleno, meat was put on top not inside. No alcohol served but, BOYB! Will see if it gets better from hearing from local folks before we go back.

I used to have tacos from this place A LOT. Until their customer service started to go down the drain. I always call in take out orders, on this last occasion, whoever answered hung up on me twice, so I called a third and asked to talk to a manager. I guess they thought I couldn't speak Spanish because they started talking about me in Spanish and the manager telling the server "tell her I'm not here, until tomorrow" so I told her, I can hear and understand what y'all are talking about me. After that, there was no apology, no intention of fixing any problems, so I said, thank you. The server responded WHATEVER and hung up.

I believe this was the worst Mexican food I ever had. here was no seasoning on the taco meat and chilirono was Soggy with greasePlus tasteless, chip were so hard . Only good was the service was good. Glad we was just passing through Hico because we want be back there.

We were in Hico for our grandsons football game and decided to try this restaurant for lunch and there were 4 adults and 2 kids... It was AWFUL I'm sorry... The whole experience was terrible.. the server was nice but I feel like she barely knew what was going on and any Mexican food restaurant that does not know what cheese and onion enchiladas are or how to prepare them ..then there's a lot wrong with your establishment I'm sorry... On a different note some friends ate breakfast there and loved it 😉
