Hamburger Hill

We were just driving through looking for a place for lunch, and Hamburger Hill stayed open after their closing time just for us to eat lunch! They were friendly and the food was good! I'd recommend it.

Great burger and the fries are the best! I didn't have the chicken fried steak, but my travel buddies loved them. Great prices too!

Have eaten here since they opened. Burgers and fries are great, so is the chicken fried steaks, buffet and of course their breakfast. After my accident and limited mobility, my husband would get my breakfast and it was perfect. Never have had the catfish, but friends tell me is fantastic. Right across the street is Billy the Kid graveside. (new tin picture found and sent to qualified expert, who ascertained it is 93-95% match to William Roberts, who is buried there.) Great food and history.

I stopped here late one night when they were closing up. They were super nice about it and made me a hamburger and fries anyway! I took it with me and pulled it from the sack a few miles down the road. It was enormous and one of the best burgers I've ever eaten! I will be back!

Absolutely love this place. We were able to come here on Good Friday and eat delicious fried catfish in fried shrimp. And delicious peach cobbler. Very friendly service and very clean atmosphere. I would recommend this to anyone passing through.

Going to eat at Hamburger Hill is like going to your best friend's house when his mom is fixing dinner. Lunch buffet is great. Home style country cooking. Food we grew up on. But you have got to go on Fridays. They have fried fish and shrimp. It's so good. The staff are always so kind and the owners are just the best.

Pretty good food, service has always been friendly. It's super casual and no-frills but very affordable.

I go every Saturday for my daughter's pancake plates and I get biscuit and gravy... always been warm...always been ready and always friendly greetings when entering and leaving... and if I'm in town for the meatloaf special days its a must.... catfish and shrimp on Friday always been good.

I ordered out. So I can’t speak for the atmosphere. When I ordered, the lady on the phone was very patient and kind even better, my order (for 4) was correct. She said that our catfish would be ready in 10 minutes and true to her word, it was. However regarding the food, speaking for myself only because my dad thought the it was wonderful, I couldn’t finish it. I won’t go into details but my serving was less than satisfactory. Maybe I got a bad batch? Maybe I’m crazy? Because to be fair, the overall ratings for Hamburger Hill are pretty good. So don’t let this be a discouragement to people checking them out because it was just order among probably at least 75-100 for today. I’ll still give them another shot.
