Easy in and out. I really appreciate the free grounds for our garden. The baristas were pleasant and worked fast to serve all the drinks. Nice clean bathroom.
My husband came to have a business meeting here today and I just wanted coffee. I got my coffee and sat with my kids while my husband was discussing business. We are just chilling at the table and after a few minutes. The meeting is finished and we got up to leave. I get up, get my bag and with my bag came the cup of coffee I was so enjoying and fell to the ground. My coffee all splattered on the ground and I was so bummed. The very nice staff said they would take care of it. Worker named Shaniyah came to clean up all the mess then requested a remake of my coffee. Which she knew exactly what I had ordered without having to ask again. Talk about taking care of your customers and having top quality employees. Thank you Starbucks employees at Hillsboro, TX.
This place is pretty good. I will return for drinks here because it was so good. I like the mochas this are so good. One thing I did not enjoy is the customer service here. They always seem to be negative and snappy :( but I mean what do you expect when they get minimum wage
Drive thru was quick to get through and the speaker where you gave your order was clear and loud enough for you to be able to understand what was being said but not so loud that it was irritating. I had banana nut bread it was fresh and my drink order (white chocolate caramel latte) was very good.The employee that took my order was professional and friendly without overdoing it. She didn't giggle or mumble she spoke clear you could understand everything she said and she used good grammer.
Went through the drive-through this morning and got a regular coffee with four Splenda‘s and it was absolutely perfect
This Starbucks in Hillsboro is just adorable. It was a perfect little pit stop on our way home from Dallas. First we went through the drive-thru which was very fast, no issues. Then we went inside for a potty break and ordered another drink and bought a reusable glass tumbler. The four people on staff were cheerful and attentive. The restroom was clean and stocked. The drinks were excellent.
Been coming here for years. Even though I’ve moved away, I stop by anytime, we’re passing through. My coffee is always the way I want it and the baristas are always great!
I stop hear multiple times almost every week on my rather extensive commute home. The staff are genuinely the highlight of this location. I have never had a single remotely negative interaction with one of them and in fact all of my stops have been genuinely wonderful (even when occasionally my food item is unavailable). They are kind, considerate, and very understanding as I have awkward manicured orders due to caloric restraints in my diet. Everyone I have had the pleasure of engaging with has seemed to honestly care about their store, getting your order exactly right, and the customers themselves.

I always get I always get a caramel macchiato with four shots. Extra drink comes with two extra shots. Sometimes I do not feel like they always put extra shots, but I feel like I pay for them with shots and it's more like that. It is just milk with the normal shots, there was a way that I could exactly how many they put in instead of wondering why the most part it is
I have been to Starbucks locations all across the country and I will say this probably ranks as my favorite! Employees always have a fun vibe going on and although they’ve messed up my order before it was handled exceptionally well and always with a smile on their faces. Great job Hillsboro team!
Last Wednesday, as I was driving across Texas, I stopped in at the Hillsboro Starbucks. What a friendly team you have there... and Demonica is a special shining star. Super kind, greeted everyone with a warm smile, and knew many of the other patrons by name.
I stopped around 7:53 a.m. This morning on a Sunday and I just wanted to say I was very happy. My sausage Cheddar's were cooked perfectly (not burnt). My coffee was delicious and the girl that was working the window was so nice and professional. I usually have a different outcome when I visit, mainly because the baristas are not very friendly and roll their eyes. This one did great this morning and I just wanted her to get some recognition for her kindness, professionalism and speedy service!
This has to be the best starbucks I have been to! The coffee was just made perfect so good well balanced not to sweet I can actually taste the coffee 10/10

Great Starbucks spot. Staff here is friendly without that fake “have a nice day” vibe — you can tell they mean it. Coffee came out just right, no burnt taste, no “oops we forgot your order” situation. Cozy enough to sit and people-watch, but still plenty of space. 5/5 for making my caffeine fix a pleasant ritual instead of a gamble.
CLEAN. The building is a little old, but don’t let it deceive you; it’s it is exceptionally clean compared to some new Starbucks that I had visited. Very clean restaurant all around, from kitchen to dining, and employees. Professional and well mannered friendly staff. The food was great, my spinach feta was heated just right and my coffee wasn’t boiling. Received my order in less than 10 minutes.@memerios1020
Order every single morning on the mobile app, great service & its always ready for me. Also the drink is made exactly how I ask! Service is friendly and always upbeat, you can see they try their hardest when lines are long. Only downside I can say is they run out of a lot of things and fast but great customer service & suggestions to get the drink you wanted with what they do have!

They gave us the wing drink and two of the sandwiches was cold. We returned them before leaving the drive through. When they corrected it everything was great. Really good impossible breakfast sandwich.
We stopped here while passing through. There's a nice little bake shop connected to it (didn't go there but important to note). The facility was clean as were the restrooms. The staff was polite and there was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I like how open the layout was compared to other locations. Very nice visit and a great place to stretch your legs on a long drive.
We had what I can only believe was a new girl behind the register with nobody there to train her. She looked lost most of the time, extremely timid, and was very difficult to hear because she spoke so softly. Don't misunderstand me, she was very nice, you could just tell she was not comfortable doing her job at all. She definitely needed someone beside her with some spunk and who could teach her how to interact with customers, not just punch numbers on a register lol other than that, the drinks were good as always :)

Perfect Starbucks stop on Austin Dallas road trip, right on the exit and freeway entrance is right there. The outdoor seating arrangement is awesome, overlooking the freeway traffic. Slightly under staffed it seemed. One of the restrooms had a broken lock.
We always stop by here when driving to Dallas and do a drive thru and we've always received good customer service. Last weekend, during our usual drive thru stops, I had to go in for a quick bathroom stop. The place inside was not that full with customers. However, it looked a little disorganized. Then I went to the bathroom which was not that dirty but the trash can was overflowing with toilet paper and toilet paper everywhere on the floor. This Starbucks is easy to see from the highway, easy drive thru, and easy parking lot access. Good customer service but cleanliness needs to improve especially the bathrooms.
On the road and it’s good to find a Starbucks. These days I typically drink dark roast with MCT. When not at the house Starbucks is a decent fall back if I go dark roast with heavy cream. As I carry a thermos, and don’t go for anything too complicated, this site was able to fill my order in about a minute.

Nice staff, but the dirtiest Starbucks I've ever been to. Not a napkin to be found in the store, every surface was filthy. Dead crickets all over the floor. I think they're short staffed, and the consequences are apparent.
Went here after a business meeting in Waco.. ordered a venti iced latte..it was 75 out side.. I got to the window, it was hot latte.. so I told the guy at the window. They had to remake my drink(I had to go park in the parking lot and wait) so when he brought my drink, it was a grande iced.. (a size smaller) I just too my drink and left. I didn't want to wait another 10 minutes for a larger drink.
The last few times (in the last couple weeks) I've been here my drink was wrong and/or taste totally different. Twice other items were missing from my order. It's disappointing to wait for Salted Caramel Mocha season and it not taste at all like its supposed to when you finally get it!
One to two years ago I would have given this Starbucks a 5-Star rating. I considered it one of the best. But, since then I have noticed a decline in certain areas. Makes me wonder if there is new owner and/or management Apparent increased staff turnover. Before, we saw familiar faces and were greeted cordially as recognized regulars. Now there seems to be a different crew every few weeks and a somewhat less friendly staff. Though not offensively dirty, the store nor its staff appear as clean and tidy as before. When equipment was broken (restroom door lock, hand dryer) it seemed to take a very long time before it got fixed. At first I thought they had just run out of certain items or amenities, but after months it is apparent that this store is no longer providing toilet seat covers. (When not provided, the more germ-conscious customers use strips of toilet paper instead and, when those strips slide off onto the floor, the restroom takes on an unclean, unattended appearance.) It has been many months since there has been stir sticks provided at the sugar & milk counter. So, to stir in the little bit of sugar I add, I have to use a paper-wrapped plastic straw to mix. That not only seems ecologically wasteful, what kind of coffee shop doesn’t have stir sticks?
The drinks were tasty / Starbucks consistent. I've never seen/experienced a slower drive through at a Starbucks. Seems to be a struggling location. It wasn't particularly busy - maybe 4 or 5 cars in line and about that in the parking lot. We sat in the drive-through for about 5 minutes without the line moving before we exited for an inside order. Another 10+ minute wait for a single drink before we were back on the road. A lot of new cashier training was going on. 3 days later on our return back we gave it another chance, as this location is really the only Starbucks between Austin and Dallas on I35W. We weren't in a hurry, so it wasn't as disappointing - but similar experience - drive through was operating at a trickle and cashier required assistance to be able to input our orders into the system.
The food (grilled cheese!!) and drinks are great, but this is not one of the friendlier stores. It's like the people working here are miserable. I've been stopping here for years and it has progressively gotten worse.
It took 20 minutes with only 4 cars in front of us to get coffee. The drinks were both made right and looked flat like they had been sitting there the whole time. We ordered ahead on the app. Next time I'll go inside to get my drinks.
This location was crazy. I sat in the drive thru for over thirty minutes, with only three cars ahead of me. When I finally got up to the window, they were clearly NOT understaffed. What was causing the delay is unknown to me. I know this location is right off a busy freeway, but good Lord! I will never stop there again.
Decent product. The slowest service I’ve ever had at a Starbucks. At least 6 minutes per car, the one in front of us ordered one drink. The cars stacked in the drive thru are in for a long wait.
Women at the drive thru gave me attitude because I placed an online order and did not let her know at the speaker a head of time. Her attitude changed as soon as she saw I order 9 drinks worth 60$. When they brought the drinks out to us, she handed them to me and walked away. Didn’t even get a chance to say thank you. Definitely picking another location.
The lady that waited on us was super sweet... however... they were out of nearly everything we tried to order and when we recieved our coffees none of the 4 had any sweet taste to them at all. We ordered 2 peppermint mochas, a sugar cookie latte and a cream cold brew. It tasted like we were drinking straight black coffee. We were glad they were open for business tho bc the larger majority that we have came they have been closed for some weird reason.
Store was busy, day after Christmas, understandably. Out of all cold brew at only 1pm, no protective sleeves for hot beverages (ouch), flies, dirty tables, empty food cases, bathrooms had water everywhere, trash cans overflowing... waited 20 min for 2 drinks. Before you say to go easy on them, I've been a Starbucks barista and this store was struggling. It's not the first time we've stopped here but it will be our last.
Friendly enough most of the time. I go to Starbucks regularly and this location is getting worse. Long waits, orders are getting messed up more and more (simple ones too) and knowledgeable staff is less and less ... very understaffed and I haven't seen any improvements in any area. There's another coffee shop here and Starbucks will be losing business if they can't fix their problems.
Never been to a Starbucks where you aren't greeted. I said hello and the girl just looked at me and asked what I was having - so i ordered and she seemed bothered. On top of that my drink was 2/3 full and it was warm - so pretty sure i got a drink that was not fresh. For the manager: hire people that enjoy dealing with people.
This Starbucks used to be a can't miss oasis on I-35, but has fallen greatly. On my last two visits I have gotten cold coffee when it would have been hot. Looks like it's time to stop in West or consider Dutch Bros.
The food and drinks were good. I was going to stay to do work, but everything was too loud. The music was loud and so was one of the workers, basically screaming hello and laughing obnoxiously.
As far as Starbucks go, this isn’t their best one. The service, accuracy & store cleanliness just isn’t at the standard you would expect from Starbucks. I would recommend checking out Scooters.

Never going back. I order the same thing everytime. Apparently only a couple people who work there can make a Mocha frap with an espresso shot. Went inside to order this morning and specifically asked for one person to make it. It was still way too sweet and couldn't drink it. 7 bucks down the drain. Oh and did I forget to mention I was the only one there.
Stopped at this location while passing through. Pulled in drive through 15 min before closing. No answer on the intercom for about 5 minutes, then pulled up to window to see what was going on. No one in sight for another 5 minutes. Called store at that time and no answer. Waited for a little over 10 minutes in total and there was no employee to be found to take my order. There were also 4 cars behind me likely wondering the same thing. What is the point of being open if you are just going to literally ignore customers during business hours. So lazy.
Unfortunately, I have to rate this location very poorly. Every time we've headed south from Dallas we've stopped here and had troubles. Today it was extremely slow getting service and the restrooms were horrendous. A lot of staff but very slow service. Ended up after 20 minutes of waiting or longer receiving the wrong drink even though the ticket stated the correct drink! Too many sick people to stay around for the drink to be remade!
Horrible customer service. Made two drinks before they made mine. Sometimes things get out of order, it happens no big deal. I politely asked if mine drink was coming. They said yes without looking at me. Then grabbed the drink ( it was finished and just sitting there) tossed it on the counter and said there. And walked away. Still without ever looking at me. Incredibly rude, and no it wasn't busy.
SLOWEST Starbucks I've ever been to. Got my order wrong, said they would fix it, left it sitting there for 10 minutes until I asked them to fix it so I could go. Bad attitude, poor customer service. There weren't that many ppl there. The ppl behind me got their drinks and left before me. They should have fixed my drink right away. That's is the longest I've ever been at a Starbucks Ever and I am at them at least 5x a week. Never had a problem.

This was hands-down my worst Starbucks experience yet. I ordered a caramel macchiato and a spinach egg white wrap, macchiato did not taste right and my spinach egg white wrap was completely cold! I have been a loyal rewards member for almost 10 years now.
The slowest Starbucks I have ever been to. Every time. Once you get to the window it still takes them 3-5 minutes to take your card. You will wait 10 minutes plus even if only one car is in front of you. Also, they will stack cups and wait at least 5 more minutes to give you your card. Every time.
We ordered from drive thru Ribbon caramel crush Frappuccino but this time they forgot to add caramel beans in that very disappointed don’t do this again please maintain your food quality.
I just witnessed a cashier YELLING at a customer. The customer came in to put extra money on a gift card. Apparently her previous balance that had been on the card was no longer there when the addition amount was added. The customer was being kind and just trying to get the issue resolved. The cashier yelled at her, telling her that it wasn't her fault that the money disappeared and that she needed to "get over it"!!!! She then told the sweet lady that she doesn't have a name tag, (refused to give her name) and that she is new. � I watched the other employees watch this happen without intervening or telling the cashier to calm down. I cannot believe that a staff member was allowed to treat a customer like this without anyone doing a thing about it. I have been in here working on my computer for an hour but decided to leave after witnessing such hostility come from a staff member. If you can't be kind to people, do not work in customer service. Witnessing this breaks my heart. Why can you not be nice to people who've done no wrong to you?!
They completely forgot about checking mobile order, defeating the whole purpose of mobile orders. We had to wait 20 min for our order while watching six cars in drivethru get their orders. We were in a rush and did not want to stay in the store too long, but unfortunately had to wait. Terrible customer service—they did not even apologize for forgetting our order.
Even though there were only 3 people in front of me inside, I know the drive through was busy. There were a total of 4 employees working the floor. The drive through took priority over the inside customers as it took 30min to get me drink...which ended up not being correct. I did not request a new beverage to be made as I didn't want to wait any longer. The cafe area was trashed and the sugar station (pictured) was also gross. They also had 2 restrooms- one was so bad that no customers would use it, and the other (which I used) was not very clean. Not sure I'll be returning to this facility.
Went on my daily run to Starbucks. Visited the Hillsboro location and the dine in option was closed so I decided to get in the long line. 15 minutes in I noticed line was pretty fast so I was impressed. Come to find out the location was closed. The drive through did not have a “We’re closed sign” we drive up to the window and the workers pretty much pretended like you weren’t there. They did have a sign at the window but the long wait could have been avoided if they placed a closure sign on the ordering menu . Horrible Horrible Horrible!
1st thing I did was go to the bathroom, and it was disgusting. Poop stains in the toilet, paper all on the floor, full trashcan, and no toilet paper in the dispenser. Then, I go to get a coffee and I could tell the barista was new, which is okay, but it didn't seem like anyone was helping her figure out what she needed to do. Took a longer time than usual (for a starbucks) to get my cup of water and latte. Which again is fine if they would have been busy or short staffed, but they weren't. The original barista who was making my latte left it on the machine, and the new girl looked at it, and was hesitant about what to do and poured it in a cup and when I got in the car, already left and drank it, I literally spit it out. I have no idea what they did, but I've never tasted bad coffee like that. I can't tell if they just threw coffee beans in there or what but it was so bad. If I wasn't in a rush I would have gone back. I had even used my rewards for that drink. I usually stop at this location whenever I'm driving to Dallas, but over the past year it's gone down a steady decline. Would definitely recommend stopping in a different town.
What has happened to the pumpkin loaf? It’s stale and it doesn’t taste the same. Normally those are real fresh and amazing. The last few times I’ve gone to different Starbucks. They have been horrible.
They prioritize drive thru orders and have customers standing inside waiting for 20 minutes. Better service at scooters across the street.

This was by far the worst Starbucks we have ever been to!!! We stopped in for a single drink and a couple of cake pops, and it took over 20 minutes. They asked for a receipt after I didn’t get one, and had to ask an employee who was leaving to verify the purchase. All of the employees walked around the place like zombies. No one acknowledged us for over five minutes upon entering the store! I had to literally ask if someone was going to be able to take our order. There was not a line in the drive up and no other patrons in the store. Customer Service was ridiculous that we will not be back.!!! 🤬🤬
Hot coffee, just like I needed. I have stopped it town for a few days and after coming to this Starbucks cafe location, I have found this to be one of the absolute dirtiest cafes that I have ever visited. The floors are never swept, nor mopped, and paper debris piles up. Too, the garbage receptacle are always full of trash with no room to put the cups and food wrappers into the receptacles. The bathrooms are terribly filthy. Therefore, if the building remains so unkept, I can only imagine how bad the food is? I am leaving town tomorrow and I have decided that this is one Starbucks cafes that I will never come back to.
We waited almost 30 in the drive thru for 1 drink. When I asked the young man if the were short handed he smarted off, nope just a lot of people ordering. Not really just a lot of slow moving servers in the store.
Our experience also were floor’s and bathrooms were not the way one expects them to be, clean. Scones were even though wrapped stale as could be. Overall bad experience! Ordered a cold brew with light ice and cream on the side-got about a 1/4 cup of cold brew with heavy ice and cream (they did give cream on the side too.) Last visit at this location!
Selling nasty burnt bean juice. It's not hard to make espresso without burning it. TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES CORRECTLY PLEASE. I'm sick of your bean water.
This is the nastiest starbucks I have ever been to. The bathroom was filthy, the floor of the store was filthy and worst of all the whole place was full of flies - especially behind the counter. Ive never seen anything like it. The stafg was less than friendly and while I was waiting someone rolled out of the back looking like they'd been sleeping - literally like they just woke up - while the girls on front struggled to keep up w customers inside and at the drive thru. My coffee was steaming hot - no sleeve or stopper. Will never stop here again.
We dropped in here on our road trip to Austin! We have on our Starbucks app half off Thursday. The staff nor management would not honor it saying it only applies in your state. Then they did not even make our fourth drink And said they would credit on her app but it never showed up nor is there a receipt! Worst experience ever!
Although I can appreciate the demand of a busy store, I am from Seattle and have never seen such poor customer service and lack of product. I waited along with other customers up to 25 minutes then my three drink order was split. The last drink made by female a barista with dark short hair put it behind seven other drinks even though her coworker told her I was next. Then, she made essentially a latte instead of a cappuccino and I asked her to remake it.. She was incensed and did not thank me when she gave it to me. I think I would drive 30 minutes out of my way instead of going here again.
Was too cold in the building so that's why one stat for Atmosphere
Extremely bad service ignore customers order coffees and cake pops and ask for a water while I waited and was ignored. The worst part is they weren’t even busy very sad because I usually always look forward to my coffee time 😕
Stood inside for 20 minutes with no order fulfilled (placed online through the app). Asked about my order and was told "it's in the queue". Noticed the drive through clearing quickly, but not much movement and upset customers inside. Told my partner to go through drive through while I waited inside since that seemed to be the main focus. STILL waiting as the drive through lady stops the inside drink lady to make my order for the drive through customer (my partner). Clearly management needs a refocus on first come first served basis,
Extremely slow service Waited almost 20 min in the drive through line
Waited over 40 minutes and had to get a refund. Go through the drive thru. If you wait inside, you will not be served until the drive thru is clear. We ordered a nitro (which is on tap) and a matcha. There were only 3 ladies working, but only one was consistently making drinks and the other 2 were manning the registers. May be a better experience if there isn’t a wait or they get more staff to help.
Coffee was hot and the restroom was not. Urine all over the floor. They didn’t mop they used a napkin to wipe it up. Stinking of pee real bad. Clean it don’t wipe it. Management needs to show these workers to use a cleaning product other than just paper towels. Restrooms should be disinfected not smeared around.
I was travelling and had to stop for a Quick drink and when ordering i mentioned thrice about light on ice and I didn’t know putting 80% of the ice in drink is light ice!! Literally the drink was also not to that extent, might be it’s because of the ice or what went wrong I don’t know.
**⭐ 1-Star Review Extremely disappointing experience at this Starbucks location. I specifically asked for my coffee to be customized a certain way, but they completely ignored my request and made it however they wanted. It’s frustrating to spend money and not get what you asked for — especially when customization is supposed to be part of the service. Total waste of money. Won’t be coming back to this location.
Worst cup of coffee I've ever had. It tasted like it was made with dirty dish water. Look starbucks isn't my favorite coffee but it is consistent from location to location. Not this one. Area was dark and dirty. That alone should have been my cue to move on because I've never seen a starbucks store that looked like that.
I ordered my coffee and need to go to bathroom, so I went there, both bathrooms were locked, also have the sign on it said that the bathroom doesn’t lock, please knock, so I did. Nobody answers, so I tried to open the door, it’s locked! the other bathroom also locked, I knocked, nobody answered. I stood there and waited for at least 5 minutes, I knocked again, nobody answers, so I asked the cashier, she said “she maybe still in there” so I went back and waited another five minutes, I knocked again, it’s been at least 10 minutes since I waited at the door and if someone in there, they’ve been in there more than 10 minutes, and both bathroom were locked! Wait awhile I almost gave up but I knocked one more time, well, someone flushed the toilet but still enjoy sometimes in there, maybe they washing their hands, I guess, so I waited, they flush the toilet one more time, then immediate open the door, she walked out, I need to go so I went straight in, bathroom is dirty so if she is an employee, she didn’t bother to clean up, done and ready to wash my hand, the sink was dry, everything else was dry, in my head was “she been in there so long and didn’t wash her hand?”, I walked out and got my coffee, the girl was talking and laughing with other employees, I went to my car, the same girl took the big trash bin out front door, so either she is an employee or a cleaning lady, then she dragged it back in the front door. I didn’t drink my coffee, I don’t know if these employees wash their hands. I rather throw it away then take their germs. Never come back to this Starbucks again.
