A young man named Jared was probably the most polite person I’ve ever encountered. The price is a little higher than other FF places, but the quality is worth it.

I go to this forster freeze often for a pineapple strawberry milkshake ! Super bomb! Their open until 1 AM DAILY! MY BOY AUSTIN FROM TEXAS ! always a friendly server who is normally their at night

Love the updates they have done..the new paint and lighting outside ..gives it that 50s look..the crew are always nice.. And always have a puppy treat for my service dog as I cruise through the drive-thru.

I only really stop to buy their chocolate dipped vanilla cones. Have enjoyed them since I was a child. Back then living in San Jose going to the Foster Freeze near Japan town. Now here in Hollister going to this location. Friendly staff very helpful and yes dipped cones are still fantastic and a fun treat.

Dog friendly drive thru! My dog Charlie likes going here as much as I do, they give him a dog treat or small cup of whip cream :) Good food for humans too, love the chili cheese fries and Big Boss

Excellent food at this location. One of a few good froster freezes in California. I drive here from out of town. If I get a craving like today! My go to is the Boss Burger and waffle fries!

The place was clean. The service was fast and friendly. They had inside seating and had it prepared for social distancing in mind. It was set up every other seat people could sit at. My daughter didn’t want to sit inside. We didn’t do it. We would go back.

We usually go for ice cream or milkshakes. Whatever we get it's always been good. The prices aren't that much different from any other fast food restaurant.

I ordered a cherry coke and the cashier made sure I knew that they put chunks of cherries in it before she gave it to me. I did know but appreciated the heads up. Thanks for looking out!

This is always on my menu when I am in Hollister. I was pleasantly surprised when the cashier offered me the "special " which is a burger, no fries and a small shake. Goodness, that was exactly what I wa thinking! I had an original buyer with a Passion Fruit ,... Wow-zer! Best cheat meal ever!

Yummy food. Super clean indoor dining. Staff super kind, helpful and overall happy. Relaxing atmosphere listening to them interact with each other. Also loved the 80's music being played.

Always a great place for a late night shake and fries! We took our pups and they gave us some pup-cups (small cups with whip-cream). We all got to enjoy a late snack.

There was only one other customer waiting for their order and received it while we were giving ours. Two other customers walked in while we waited. The table was clean and the restroom was as well. Our order came up and it was correct. I just love their foster sauce on my fries and neglected to ask for it. We went back up and got it right of way, there was plenty of condiments and seasonings. The French fries were perfect, not to crispy , not too soft and piping hot. The sundae was presented properly with cherries on top. All in all it was the perfect little snack/desert date. Will continue to go though. Note drive thru is very popular.......

Service is always good for me. Even got a few laughs from the interactions in the drive thru. Food is good, milkshakes are great. A little expensive but I do keep going back......so I guess it's alright 😆

Fast snacks n junk food on the run! I love their twister Jr size (less guilt). I usually just do the twisters, the food tends to be soggy/greasy.

Ice cream and French fries were perfect.... hamburger was blah. They were 30 minutes from closing though.

I love their twisters, and mostly always get the Mint Oreo Twister. Sometimes they are a little light on the mint or don't mix it in well. It's not cheap either. But when done right that is one of our family's favorite treat.

The food is consistently good. Juicy flavored burgers and the freezees are scrumptious. The only reason it gets docked 1 star is because it's pretty pricey for fast food.

The food was pretty good, but I think the prices are a little on the high side. 3 hamburgers 2 medium French fries and 1 small milkshake = $31 and some change. Maybe I'm just a tightwad but over all good food.

Foster freeze is overly priced. They have also changed their sizes from a jr to a small and charge you more for a jr size

High prices, two types of pricing (cash and credit), hamburgers are nothing before, very thin pieces of meat, fries taste like the fryer oil was dirty…Dining room was vacant even on a Saturday night..

Awesome staff but the owner cuts corners, and the orange juice sucks. Instead of generic juice boxes why don’t you get real orange juice like Burger King.

Typical of the brand, in one of the newer (boring) locations, but management is trying to save a buck and has the soft serve set very soft. Makes for uninteresting mouth-feel and a rush in warm weather. I'd go to the nearby A&W and at least get some vintage charm out of the deal.

I ordered from the kiosk and that was fine, but I asked for an empty cup to place my toddlers remaining ice cream and the guy told me that I have to buy a soda to get an empty cup. What happened to the time when you asked for just an empty container for leftovers and someone just handed it to you?

But as much as I like it, my wife refuses to go back after she ordered one chicken sandwich and one burger combo (regular double) with the only addition being a small $5 shake. The end result was a $44 tab that just didn't add up. With a line of cars behind us and the girl at the window unable to explain how we arrived at that total, she just left. The receipt showed that my $9.00 double had an up charge of $4 just because it was a large. $13+5...well, tax on the order is about $4. I find it hard to believe that a chicken sandwich combo can add up to $22 by itself.

Fish sandwich was over cooked....oil to hot. Hamburger was ok, but Micky D's Super Quarterpounder is better. Fries were great, but disappointed that they charged extra for Fry Sauce.

Unfortunately, the staff here doesn't seem to put much care in the food. It is always either cold, stale, or just put together sloppy. A shame, I really like foster freeze.

Way overpriced. Stopped in for a hot fudge sundae ordered a large for almost $7. And when the gal handed it to me I thought it was a small :-(. I paid $7 for what amounted to probably $0.50 to $1 on the high side worth of product. I will not be back

Food is NOT good ! Employees are great, shakes are best in town. A little dirty and rundown. Most people like their food, we don't. Burgers are usually precooked and tasteless, fries are great, sodas are watered down. Pricey for quality.

Terrible. Ordered a banana split. Banana was very brown. Skimpy on the ice cream and whip cream. Cherries tasted rotten.

Its actually amazing, i find their ice cream to be highly addictive. Im leaving this review as a reminder to meter my future visits.

Only been here twice for ice cream and when I went inside and looked at the menu, the food looked hella nasty . I mean it can taste good to you or look good to you but I think that was nasty.maybe go buy yourself I super burrito in stead.

It was so hot in there . felt like no air .. And they didn't want to turn a.c . on ?when i asked them if there a.c. was broken they said it works. I asked if they could turn it on. Then another couple came they asked the same thing it was so hot they left and so did we. Was cooler outside.

Ice cream is expensive. For two small I cream twister $12+. Even with employee discount. I get two of the two quarts Ice cream for that price at Safeway next door.

Got a big boss meal and the whole thing was cold the patty and the cheese was not at all melted it wasn't even warm it was straight cold like if they just had a old patty and through it together real quick and with there prices i would expect way better from this place should have went to BK instead then they hire young kids to make your food ,not saying all the kids are slackers but majority of them to care how your food is or how its made if its cold i would have to say this place sucks dont waste your time or money .

The most expensive place ever for what a little chili dog, small cheeseburger, small fry a small drink and medium shake $34.99 Then small fry,small shake and large shake $28.00 not from here and don't never want to come back after seeing those prices. They should close it down

So I took my three-year-old son here to get some food and the food came out ice cold and hard as a rock. I don't like to complain and the staff took about 30 minutes just to remake the food it was ridiculous they made my son cry and the staff was using a lot of profanity. I don't even think a cussed jar would help this place Don't Take Your Kids here for food

I'm not quite sure what burger people got to persuade them to say great burgers. I simply ordered a triple cheese burger and fries the other day through the doordash app. As soon as I bit into my burger, I knew I made a mistake. The reason I know this is because I tried a McDonald's burger the day before(I've never had one) and I gotta say mickey dees was more tolerable then fosters triple slop burger. Dry, horrible, bland, not flavorful or juicy. I've had frozen patties that tasted better. Very disappointing. And for the price, I could've gotten 2 double doubles from in n out burger. Count em...2!!!!! Rediculousness... I really hope someone who works for fosters Corp. Messages me about this review. I really do...thet need to know.

The burgers were marginal. The fries were greasy and tasted like fish. The cooks must have used the same cooking oil for both. Tables were dirty. Not going back. The lady at the counter were rude to us and to a young girl working there who must have been new.

Very disappointed in my local foster freeze I had a very hostel encounter with the manger there tonight who closed a window on my face while I was talking at the drive thru, who threatened that I wouldn't be able to return there, and who was being overly rude. It's not my fault you hate your job. and on top of that you don't know if ppl like myself have disabilities that make environments like the one you created worse for me. Your actions and words weren't managerial at all. And u should be ashamed to have this lady As ur manger. #Microaggressions

Just went through Fosters Drive as I was craving an old fashioned burger. I have to say I was very very disappointed and will not be going back anytime soon. First of all the buns to my burger almost broke my tooth from being so stale. I pulled mine apart and basically ate the meat the little bit of lettuce and tomato but my husband took one bit and put it down and said he wouldn’t even give this to our dog!!! I wanted to go back and complain because it was $27 but the at wasn’t the worst part the girl working drive thru had a BIG attitude problem for what reason unknown to me I’m the paying customer. Never again they lost my business
