Pasta was outstanding...particularly the agnolotti which was spectacular, and the bolognese was excellent...Marino's offers some nice dishes that are not on many Italian restaurant menus. The food was all fresh and made at the restaurant...Service was excellent and unobtrusive...Nice wine list...
I love Marino's! Their Gnocchi Mare is in a class by itself, how delicious!
Absolutely spectacular Italian Food. Family owned restaurant for generations now in the hands of the son Sal who is the Chef. I was fortunate to have dinner with friends who have been going to Marino for 20+ years. We never saw a menu. Sal just brought out course after course and paired them with amazing wines. If you are a true foodie, a Marino is a MUST when you are in LA.
Been a customer of both this and the family's former establishments in Santa Monica for almost 20 years. If you're looking for the most authentic Italian in town, with both a flare for modern interpretations in addition to all the favorite classics, this is the place. Served with a traditional style, the rustic looking building has a classic uncomplicated interior elegance in the main dining room - making it feel both formal and comfortable. The atmosphere and staff, to say nothing of the long standing location, are a nice compliment for the always satisfying meals.
Marino’s is like going to an intimate family dining experience. From the warmest of welcomes to the sensational selection of dishes. Time honored classics to innovative offerings- Sal Marino introduced CRUDO to the LA dining scene and his choices are unbelievable. With their opening a beautiful heated outdoor dining area, you can enjoy lovely nights out, This family operation loves welcoming you to their passion for food and dining. Btw in the summer enjoy Tomato Wednesdays to savor the bounty of Sal’s personal garden.
Me and my wife were coming here for 2 years since we have discovered the place, one of the best places in the Hancock Park, if you want reasonably price authentic Italian food - thats the place to go to! Owner is very nice! And you get everything you would want to from a classy restaurant! GREAT food, GREAT service and GREAT cocktails! Come and check it out !
Marino restaurant sets a glowing, almost unreasonable standard for fine restaurants in Los Angeles. The service isn’t just good, it’s like family. Which makes sense, because they’re family-owned and tend to know most of the people dining there at a given time because nobody goes just once. The food isn’t just good, it’s like your aunt learned to cook at a Michelin-star restaurant. Everything on the menu is thoughtful and delectable. Don’t believe me? Try it for yourself.
Marino's is without a doubt one of the best Italian Restaurants in Los Angeles. The food is delicious and the service is unique. Mario (Owner) is a great host.
Food and service was amazing! Ambiance is perfect! Everything we ate was absolutely delicious. Service was outstanding. You'll be lucky if Dan is your waiter. He was on top of it and took care of us real well. Thank you for everything. Highly recommended!
This place checks all the boxes, the food, service, the boss was really funny and walking around chatting with the tables. Every dish was perfect.
Amazing food. First time a restaurant grated truffles in front of me at the table. I am lucky in that I get to eat out a fair amount and this is my current favorite restaurant.
Now this is a really special dinner place. Always a big welcome from Mario. Always a booth that we reserved. Always wonderful service. The food is truly delicious and for me...I love their warm crusty bread. And of course a martini to start. It's a delight to visit.
Accidental discovery...and will now become a destination. The owner is beyond nice and passionate. The food and service is exceptional with the restaurant itself being very comfortable and relaxing. If you want a quiet night out with those close to you, go to Marinos.
Excellent spot. I have eaten there 2/3 times... Great family atmosphere & service unlike anywhere else in town and the food is delicious every single time. But most of all, the owner Mario is a complete gem ... would walk over hot coals to make sure you have a wonderful experience ... Savor this restaurant!!! Enjoy N
If you have the time, stop and admire this amazing eatery. “Can’t touch this” is what my wife would say . What a great experience that feels like home. Amazing service and incredible atmosphere, makes me feel like I’m home but feels like there’s a romance that I couldn’t have achieved before with food. “Lady and the tranp”. An
Hands down the best Italian restaurant in LA. It is extremely cozy, the staff is kind, attentive and personable. The food will have you day dreaming for weeks!! (The lasagna is seriously no joke) The chef even came by to say hi at the end of dinner and told us a little bit of his life story. Thank you to Mario, Sal and the rest of the team for an incredible evening 🙏🏻
What an enchanting evening…. The dining room has been designed impeccably… Friendly smiles, Mario greets you at the door, and servers are dressed well, have incredible knowledge of the menu, and true dining service technique. Daniel, Mario, and Nicholas were friendly, fun, and engaging ….the food was incredible…. Many choices…. Delicious….5 star…. Looking forward to returning with friends.
Marino is fantastic! Fresh dishes, great flavors, and a cozy atmosphere with excellent service.
This is without a doubt THE top fine, white-cloth Italian Restaurant in town . ́Michelin Star quality food for sure! . Everything served is of 1st quality, fresh and prepared diligently. Sal Marino is at the top of his game. Bravo!!
Absolutely my favorite Italian Restaurant in Los Angeles ❤️
Wow! I'm so disappointed that I was not introduced to this wonderful establishment years ago. The quality of food, service, atmosphere and personality of ownership is exceptional. Both Mario and Sal have done such a wonderful raising bthe bar on this legendary institution. Each of the dishes was so thought out, so high in quality, and served with such pride, that it becomes contagious. If I lived closer, I would be there twice a week, and bring every friend I know. So damn impressed!
I ate at the bar with Raul last night. I loved my Calamari. The atmosphere was elegant and the hospitality I was met with reminded me of my favorite South Philadelphia pasta spot. Thank you for keeping me company and talking Mixology with me last night Raul. I'll be back soon
With all of the incredible Italian restaurants in Los Angeles, this is my favorite. I love the staff, the food is exceptional, and if you haven’t tried the pollo Vesuvio, your life will change when you do.
We've been twice and it was always a treat. We went for their prefix menu for Christmas Eve it was well worth the price. So many fun and inventive dishes. Had some of the best authentic flavors and the best lobster and pasta dish I've ever eaten. The wine cellar was phenomenal and our server gave us a true fine dining experience. Their regular menu is always market fresh fish and is constantly changing. A labor of love and a family owned restaurant, you truly are getting a true Italian experience right down to the hospitality.
Always great! The food is excellent: delicious, fresh, beautifully presented. Great menu that has both usual and unusual Italian fare. Full bar and superb wine list. The staff make it even more special: always professional, warm and welcoming.
Marino Ristaurante did a fabulous job with my birthday! They gave me their elegant private room and made a special meal and menu, which was really a nice touch. I had a delicious organic mixed green salad and salmon and veggies. They were very accommodating to my food allergies and the food was delicious. They helped me select excellent wines to be served. I also brought in magnum bottles of champagne and they were fine with that rather than charging me double corkage fees like some other nit picky restaurants do. Further, they didn't charge me a cake cutting fee since I brought in a gluten and dairy free cake and they fortunately had candles. Everything was so easy to put together and the service was prompt. Most importantly, when it came to checking out at the end of the night, there were no surprises on the bill, everything was charged as Mario, the manager who helped with the event, said would be charged. He had integrity and that helped me enjoy my night. I highly recommend doing an event here. My 20 guests and I all had a really nice time. Thank you again! :D
You will never have a better pizza than this one from Marino with fresh shaved truffles. The best ingredients - the aroma and taste of the truffle (shaved onto your pizza table side by your server), perfectly cooked dough, the best cheese, all executed to perfection. I can’t stop dreaming about eating this pizza again!
Family owned and ran restaurant. Mario knows all his regulars and welcomes them like old friends. Has an amazing neighborhood vibe. Their truffle pizza is the best we’ve tried.
The food was fantastic. Tasty and creative. Mario, the manager, was a great host. For anybody looking for a delicious insight into Italian, home cooking style meal. This is a great place to visit. The wine selection was also great. For me, a must-come back place.
Had a nice new years experience with my partner. I wish we were informed of the prefix menu when we booked on open table. However it was no big deal and we had a great time. The service is excellent and the food was great too. Warm atmosphere and a great place to bring in the new year.
Authentic Italian food that tastes great. The restaurant has a fresh menu that changes according to season because the chef himself goes to the farmer's market every week. They have a private room good for parties or other occasions.
Marino is the best italian in LA! Mario is an amazing host and Sal’s dishes are heaven. Try the pollo vesuvio, the seafood linguine and the tiramisu, they’re amazing!
Welcomed with open arms and left with a very happy belly! Beautiful authentic Italian food in a lovely setting with perfect lighting and kind service. We are so glad we tried it and will definitely be back! Next time, dessert!!
Excellent. Chef Sal excels consistently and continuously. Paired multi course market menu of freshest ingredients and culinary ideas with an amazing selection of white, building up to the 2011 Sassicaia I brought to share with a friend expert on Italian wines. One of our top gastronomic experiences in Hollywood. Suggestion, bring your fav bottle, let chef Sal know in advance, surrender to the chef, he will do the rest.
I can not say enough good things about Marino’s! It was hands down the best Italian food I’ve ever had and the service was amazing! Mario was a fantastic host. It has a cozy atmosphere and our drinks were never empty. I can’t wait to go back to Los Angeles to eat here again.
The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. I will definitely come back soon
We always have delightful and remarkable meals here! Refined yet convivial, designed yet familial. Everything & everyone are just right. Sal is ever present, fun & talented. The staff is warmly attentive & amicable hosts. Love it!
One of the best Italian restaurants in LA with great service and good atmosphere.
Top notch Italian cuisine. Came here for a girlfriend's birthday. The staff were courteous and professional. The food was incredible. We had the specials, a lamb + pasta dish and white truffle pasta. I'm not articulate enough to describe how good it was but trust it was perfect.
True hidden gem in LA, and part of me doesn’t want to share it. From the moment we walked in, it felt like we were transported to Italy—not just from the incredible food, but the atmosphere, the art, and the genuine hospitality. We didn’t have reservations, yet the owner and staff welcomed us like family. They took their time, ensuring we weren’t rushed, which made the entire evening feel like an experience, not just a meal. The service was impeccable, the food unforgettable, and the warmth of the place unmatched. Marino is what authentic dining in LA should be
The food here was so good! The cauliflower flan, is so good, I didn’t know such a thing existed. Unfortunately I am writing this review a couple weeks after my visit and have forgotten the dish names. But holy cow the food is amazing and menu seems to be rotating, which is nice to mix it up.
Marino has become my favorite Italian restaurant in Hollywood, and that’s saying a lot. Walking distance from three other amazing Italian spot. The food is fantastic, the service is top notch, and it’s a cozy and comfortable spot. LOVE the Lasagna Verde, it is Insane.
For more than forty years the Marino's have made me feel right at home. They treat everyone like they are a king and you get to eat like one too! Love you guys! Kevin and Valerie!
The first time that I went to Marino was with my daughter about a month ago. We were looking for a late night meal and they happened to be open. What an amazing surprise. We ordered the zucchini blossoms and what a start to a meal. The best we have ever had. I ordered the Lasagne and it was incredible from the home made pasta to the flavorful meat sauce. My daughter ordered the Cassonetti pasta and she said it was one of the best meals that she ever had. Tonight I returned to Marino's with my wife for her birthday and I couldn't believe how incredible the service was. The waiters willing to go the extra mile and the owner accommodated our every need. I wanted to substitute Pasta as a side for my Chicken Parmesan and the Owner made the change especially for me. Some of the best Chicken Parm and home made pasta I have had in Los Angeles. This is a great restaurant. The food is excellent, the service is spot on and the Owner makes you fell like you are in his home.
Top notch food and service. Will be back! Enjoy the vegetarian tasting menu if you can. Mushrooms! Corn and pumpkin pastas. Pear cake! Mario was so exceptionally welcoming and Mauro took stellar care of us! They don’t make restaurants like this anymore. Bravo!
The team at this excellent restaurant are generous and professional! The food is delicious and authentic Italian. Everything was so good I want to go back and try more of the items on the menu. The old fashioned cocktail made with Westward stout was perfect ! Thank you to Mario and the team. Fantastic hospitality
My brother, sister, and I visited here on 10/28/24 while on a trip to Hollywood. I meant to write this earlier, but better late than never. Marino's was one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we walked inside, we knew we were in an establishment that focusses heavily on customer service. It was absolutely incredible. The owner greeted us as we walked in, shook our hands, and welcomed us into the restaurant. This right here is very uncommon, but very much appreciated. To be honest, we were probably a little underdressed, but Mario made us feel at home nonetheless. I don't recall what my siblings had, but I tried the Macceroncini Amatriciana. This was, hands down, one of the best dishes I've ever tasted. It was an explosion of flavors with the tomatoes and oxtails, and one I would highly recommend. Hats off to Chef Sal on that one. For dessert we had the cannolis and tiramisu. Both were well made, and definitely a hit to cap the evening. Service was top notch. I didn't jot down the young man's name who took care of us, but we wanted for nothing. He was very personable, had attention to detail, and made sure we weren't short on anything. He also made me crave my meal by describing it. He knows that menu very well. As we left Mario met us at the front door, shook our hands, and thanked us for coming in. This right here is what stands out in a restaurant. Customer service and being personable goes a long way for us, and we will definitely be back to visit next time we fly out to CA. Thank you! -Matt
The staff are attentive without being intrusive, creating a smooth and enjoyable dining experience.

I had the best experience at this restaurant and I don’t think I’ve ever had such a good experience at any other restaurant. Everything was perfect. The owner was so personable and really took care of us like we were royalty. The food was great (taste, temperature and portion). The servers were attentive and very nice and welcoming. This was part of my birthday celebration out of town and I must say it was probably the best experience on my vacation. I highly recommend this restaurant! The zucchini blossom was good and my lasagne was also. I’ve never had lasagne made with spinach pasta and it was awesome! Words can’t express how pleased i was with my visit here 7/7/2023. Thank you Mr. Marino!
We were walk-ins and were greeted by the owner who was so nice. You can tell the place is good by the atmosphere and Mario should be extremely proud of what he has built. Fabulous food - calamari fritte for starters followed by the spicy pasta sausage. A very calm and quiet Hollywood venue so close to Paramount Studios and the "Happy Days" house. The food was so nice you'd have thought it was home-made. Hopefully when we come back we can visit again and experience this delightful venue.
A very historical Italien restaurant , they use the best produce and have a amazing wine list ... We had the season premiere on the pea soup , so strong and sharp... And a super steak.. all servings was very good . Blue tuna, the fessan I still taste all the dishes .. I am coming back 4sure ..
Hands down, absolutely amazing! From the food, the craft drinks, ambiance from the outdoor dining and most importantly... the staff is phenomenal. I called to ask if they could accommodate a large group at the last minute, and they made it happen. 110% in customer service. They made us feel like the most important people in their establishment. I thought this was because we had a large group who was going to spend a lot, but no... I watched as they went to every table and created an amazing experience for every single person who was dining. DO NOT PASS ON THIS! You will absolutely LOVE Marino's!
Over the last few years, this restaurant has made significant strides and now produces top-of-the-line Italian cuisine. Wonderfully prepared dishes rooted in classic techniques, sometimes exploring creative ideas. The tuna / avocado crudo, veal, and duck were some of the best things I've eaten in recent memory.
Truly amazing! I was in LA for three nights and had dinner here twice. You can really tell the homemadeness of each dish and their perfectly balanced flavours. Service was top. 10/10, grazie!
A great experience overall. We tried the LA restaurant week menu and ended up ordering one of everything and not a single bite disappointed! The crudo was the best I’ve had, the branzino was cooked to perfection and the dessert was perfectly sweet and light. Service was great too. We will be coming back soon!
Amazing place with elegant atmosphere and tasty food. We tried the tasting set of four pastas and the truffle pasta was our favorite. We will definitely come back to this restaurant again.
Good was excellent and definitely a place that has interactive management that helps you get the most out of the menu by asking great questions to learn what you are looking for that evening.
Dinner at Marino Ristorante was such a treat. The pasta was freshly made and full of flavor, and the tiramisu… no words, just wow. The vibe was warm, the food was amazing, and everything just felt right. Definitely coming back!
The most amazing experience, service, and food I’ve ever had in Los Angeles. Sal and Mario Marino are absolute PLEASURE. My friend and I ordered 4 different dishes and all of them were truly extraordinary. We’ve both been to Italy and this is what it is to have true Italian pasta in America. We ate the pumpkin & sage tortellini, zucchini blossoms, cassonetti pasta, and the truffle gnocchi. All 4 were amazing… so decadent and you can tell that they use fresh ingredients. Sal, the chef came out to speak to us and Mario got us a reservation so quickly. We’re coming back. It was truly a great experience.
I am Italian and I felt right at home. Everything was 10/10. I brought my family from Italy to Marino and they all felt like they were still in Italy, from the service to the food. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend the lasagna, it melts in your mouth. Mario was a true original Italian gentleman and guided me throughout my stay. I recommend to everyone. IT’S A LEGIT ITALIAN EXPERIENCE.
We had the most wonderful experience at Marino in Los Angeles with my friends. The service was impeccable, and the food was unbelievably delicious. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and friendly. Thank you so much for such a memorable dining experience! The Italian food here is the best we’ve ever tried. The ravioli, with its generous amount of truffle, was absolutely phenomenal. Highly recommend this place!
A true legendary gem. It is the epitome of Italian excellence and they somehow find a way to exceed my high expectations every time! I vow to return every time I’m back in Los Angeles without fail.
Best pizza we ever had.. truffle pizza .. tuna crudo excellent with tomato carpaccio yum. Fresh baked bread, branzino yum!. Small restaurant but great service, friendly and attentive. Thank you Marino!
Marino is genuinely a fantastic dining experience. The ambiance of the restaurant is elegant and inviting. One of the restaurant’s owners, Mario, will always welcome you with a warm hello. Sit at the bar, and you'll have excellent service from the bartender Raul who makes exquisite cocktails. You'll always feel well taken care of by each service staff. The food is absolutely delicious. A must try the cauliflower mushroom and the cheesecake—an incredible Italian restaurant in La.
I’ve been here a few times and it never disappoints. Italian food is always top on my list. Always super fresh ingredients. The wine selection is to die for. And now I found them on Grubhub 😅😅 for authentic Italian dishes this beautiful establishment is a must!!! 🥂🍾🔥
I showed up without a reservation for a quick bite. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. I've had a mushroom cauliflower salad. It was very light and fresh, and served quickly. Two gin&tonics went well with it. On a side note, I loved their glassware!
The service is five starts. People take care of you like if you were princes. The food is delicious and served and a good pace. Received 8 services in 2 hours. The cost is high but you get what you pay for. Totally worth it and would recommend. The chef came to see our group at the end. Lovely place.

My husband surprised me with a birthday party in Marino's private dining room; 25 family and close friends gathered and the whole evening was spectacular. I was overwhelmed. Mario and Sal were such exceptional hosts, made us feel so special, and were authentic, making sure that everything was perfect throughout the night. The staff was also amazing and very attentive. From the appetizers to the multi-course meal to the wine/drinks, nothing disappointed and was utterly delicious - seriously amazing! I honestly couldn't pick a favorite from it all. Each dish was fresh and melted in your mouth with incredible, balanced flavor. My husband shared with me afterward that from the first moment he talked to Mario on the phone, he knew he called the right place. Planning the party went very smoothly and Sal communicated with him directly about the menu for the evening. That night is imbedded in my heart, and I'll remember it forever. Thank you so much Mario and Sal for treating us like family, taking such good care of us, and providing a transformative meal experience that will forever be intimately intertwined with the memory of that very special gathering. We look forward to our next visit.

Great food and service Always amazing with Wonderful staff members Thank you all. The only problem is with the VALET guy he doesn't remember us paying and wanted to charge us TWICE plus he needs to speak and understand ENGLISH!! Why would not pay the food is worth all that money 🤔 😕 Management please fix that.I moved it down to 4 stars 🌟
Been there twice recently. First time it was very quiet, the second it was packed. Great menu. Comfortable booths if you can get one. Comprehensive wine list. Familiar Italian food with some less common items, too. Very good service. We'll go back for sure.
We sat outside next to the street and it was pretty loud. On the other hand it's good if don't want other people to hear your conversation.
These days the family has created a backyard al fresco dining area under an old olive tree with the same immaculate service and authentic Neapolitan cuisine. The Marino brothers are proprietor- partners: Chef Sal heads the kitchen and Mario is "front of the house" as always. Consistent classic southern Italian cuisine in a white tablecloth setting - whole branzino offered three ways; roman bread; ricotta cheesecake; the best anti pasti in the world. Legendary Dad Ciro Marino started 50 years ago and his sons now work back and front of the house.
Right. Strange one. The owner (or manager) is an amazing person. Their food is nice. Decent cocktails. But some of the staff is.... Rude or passive aggressive. We understand it was an Italian restaurant but why giving us a lesson on every since thing we asked for that wasn't "The Italian way"? Even more, the waiter in fact was Romanian. Then, they slapped 20% tip without asking us or giving us an option like any other place in the US, probably thinking we are some kind of tourists? Very mixed feelings. Lasagna, tiramisu, tagliatelle steak, fried mozzarella are great. Kudos to the chef.
Fantastic food last night at @marino.losangeles. The grilled calamari salad was one of the best I've had. The squid was seasoned extremely well and was presented ornately. I decided to split the black truffle gnocchi with my date for an appetizer instead of as an entrée so we could both try it and still sample other menu items for our main courses. The gnocchi was easily my favorite course of the night. When it comes to the table, the server grated a generous portion of the black truffle table side filling the air with the glorious aroma of truffle. The gnocchi itself had the most incredible texture and magnificent creamy sauce. What can say, it was phenomenal. For my main course I had the NY strip and was pleased with the crispy, flavorful sear on the steak. I can't say as much for the branzino. It was average at best and outshined by every other dish. Finally, the ricotta cheesecake had a delectable flavor, with a hint of citrus. The texture was was absolutely mouthwatering. Great job last night Marino.
Lasagna - melts in your mouth Calamari - hot, fresh, and crispy Corn agnolotti - incredible, creamy, fragrant Lemon cream pie - a cake not a pie but very very good Tiramisu - very good but kind of oddly shaped/small!

Great food, but is this still 1950? Brought my husband here for our first anniversary. Very homey feel initially, owner came out and shook hands and wished us a happy celebration, however things took a turn when he looked at my spouse and said “I thought she was 12.” Weird comment but ok. Ignored by waitstaff for most of dinner, husband repeatedly looked to and expected to order for both of us. Later owner came to clear our plates, I said thank you. He looked at me directly and said “don’t thank me, thank your husband for bringing you to this nice dinner.” (For reference, I have an advanced degree and provide majority of stability). Nothing but defensive when confronted or questioned about comments. Will be taking our business somewhere less misogynistic in the future.
This restaurant is not the same post Covid. Went there last night. The women who is married to the owner opened the door for me and my guest and says “are you here to use the restroom?” I said no I have a reservation for dinner. I found that strange. So they seated us down. The service is very slow. We ordered drinks and then even before our drinks came the waiter is rushing us with our picks for appetizers and dinner. The drinks are almost 20 dollars but unfortunately they have hardly any liquor in them. I ordered the clams arreganate for an appetizer and they were cold and undercooked. We asked for olive oil for our bread and the waiter never even bought it. I reminded him of that and he says “my mistake.” And brings it when we’re almost done eating. I ordered for my entree the shrimp and scallops with pasta. The scallops are cut up in small pieces most assuredly because they want to save money and not give you whole scallops. No one even came to ask us how everything was and they never refill water glasses. For their prices they should be more attentive. Then the owner Mario comes to our table and starts telling us how he fell on bad times with a flood in the restaurant and they want to save money. Why would you tell a customer that. Bingo let’s charge people high prices. Give them food that isn’t worth it and totally ignore them. Horrible place and I won’t be back.
Excellent service and food. However extremely over priced for the portion sizes given. We got the clams areganate to start and they were the smallest clams I have ever seen. I left the place with a $125 tab not feeling full or satisfied. Not to mention they tried over charging us on our wine which was a confusing menu to start with. They proceeded to make up a long story to cover themselves. For the cost, there are better Italian restaurants in the area. Do not recommend.
The absolute worst service possible. Walk in and there is only one other table occupied. After 20 minutes we received our menu after having asked 2 times. Another 20 minutes we had to ask for water. Finally an hour had passed we asked for bread. An hour later they told us that they had no pizza and the 3 people who ordered a pizza (at an Italian restaurant???) were going to have to settle for pasta and meat sauce. Finally the 3 orders of pasta came out 25 minute later. See below for the "child serving" which they expected a grown adult to eat. The appetizer salad was then brought out. Apparently a caprese salad was a labor intensive meal. When we told them to take the pasta plates back the server had the nerve to ask why.? Well first it wasn't what we ordered, and we didn't order from a kid's menu. The waiter proceed to say they were short handed. That doesn't explain how the three portions would be the equivalent of one normal portion. However as we look at the other side of the restauarant the servers were falling over the other guests without any issues to serve them. We were obviously an after thought the entire meal. Obviously this is not a true Italian restaurant because this type of service would never be accepted in Italy.
I ordered the Orechiette with Sausage. Coming from Marino, I thought it’d be amazing, but it totally lacked flavor. It technically had sausage, but so little — not enough or in such a way to add any flavor to the dish. If I ate it with my eyes closed I would’ve sworn it was vegan. Expect the experience of eating pasta with slightly spicy vegan marinara and INTENSELY bitter, unsalted, soggy broccolini that takes over the dish. I ordered pick up and ate it right away. I actually went back for cheese because it tasted so bland but found even the quality of the parm was disappointing (and also bland). I tried it alone, and also with the pasta, and the parmesan was way too mild to do any balancing of the extreme bitterness. I didn’t enjoy the dish at all and would not recommend
