Love sitting behind this place and smiling the great food cooking inside so that I could have it delivered to me sometimes but how it's a really nice restaurant

Not as good as I remember it used to be …… but today could have been an “off” day. Had 2 grilled shrimp tacos that were so wet they fell apart in our hands. Messy: but tasty. Also 2 beef tacos that tasted okay but were dry. We came late for lunch (2.30) so maybe earlier the meat would have been better and not so dry and chewy. Also had a chille relleno which was delicious.

We stopped by here for a quick bite before Paramount studio tour. Cactus Taquerias is a nice little taco shop on the street, various types of tacos, brisket, sirloin, shrimp, and fish, all amazingly delicious 😋. Best part of dining here is the feeling of the neighborhood, somehow friendly warm.

Only had some rolled tacos to go real quick and they were pretty good. They packed the food up carefully so that none of it was soggy. I would come back to try the other items.

I think this is one of the better taco shops in the area. It is very small and the surrounding area is kind of gross but their food is delicious and the price is good. The California burrito here is my favorite.

Tasty tacos for a good price in a popular hole in the wall restaurant. Don't be fooled, it's a very popular spot for those who know. Gets crowded during weekday lunch time so expect to fall in line. Cash only!

Overpriced ,mid but convenient. Everything tastes bland tbh. I only come here like one a month and every time I come I see why I don’t come that much lol

This place has really gone down hill. The prices are outrageous. They want $10 for a bean and cheese burrito ROFL. $15 for a regular burrito. In 2007 it was $5.65 for a burrito. How the price 3x in 18 years? Someone must have a nice vacation home. This used to be THE spot in Hollywood on any given night. No wonder this place is empty now.

I always try to give this place a chance because it’s been a staple since childhood, but this time was the last. Prices are exorbitant especially for the disgusting quality. It’s really sad how much this place has gone downhill. Staff are rude, food is bad, the place itself is really gross. The pop up street vendors are 100% safer, better priced, and much better quality.

Used to be a late night legend. Now it's a microwaved memory of better days. Since 2015 Cactus #1 on Vine has been dry meat, bland everything and burritos stuffed like tax forms. All filler, no soul. Feels like they fired the flavor and kept the flies. Cost cutting seriously damaged this chain.
