Co-workers took me here for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised to see a few vegetarian options on the menu. I ordered and liked the grilled veggies plate, though the veggies were a little bland. The place is being remodeled and smelled of fresh paint; should be very nice when done.

Visited on Eid day for lunch, no wait time fairly empty. The service was decent and the ambiance was average. The food was delicious, we had the chelo Kabab koobideh, mixed chicken soultani & sides of hummus & bread. The hummus & Persian tea was phenomenal, will be visiting again.

Hands down the best Persian food I’ve had in years. The meat was so flavorful and service was so fast! The rice was perfectly fluffy and complimented everything so well. Definitely recommend giving them a try!

There is renovation going on to make this a better dining experience, so for now, just tried to-go. Was not disappointed, I was craving filet tender meat with basmati rice, also opted to get the combo to try the chicken too. I loved the meat, and my husband got the chicken thighs and the house salad. Everything was good and we ate the leftovers the next day. Their basmatirice was cooked just right. I definitely will return. The bread wasn't my favorite, a little thin and chewy, but that was not what I was looking for, just the protein.

I recently dined at Bijan for the first time. The atmosphere was alright, nothing too special, and I wish they had booths like at other restaurants. The food, however, was quite good. I ordered the Chicken Barg, which I would rate 4.5/5 as some pieces were dry. The rice, however, was excellent, earning a 5/5 as it was the best rice I’ve tasted in Houston, and I’ve been to many Persian restaurants. I also appreciated that the bill was $4.00 cheaper overall than the average Persian restaurants in town. However, I did have a few issues during my visit. The Must-o-Khyar was portioned way too small and lacked salt, which was a bit disappointing. I would rate it 3.5/5. Near the end of my meal, I had to wait a while for my check, and it seemed like the waiters weren’t fully paying attention. I had to ask the buslady to notify them that I wanted my check. When the waiter finally came, he asked me to hand him my card before the check arrived. I told him I would rather see the bill before handing over my card for an unknown amount. He then said he wanted to save a trip, which I felt was not very professional. I like proactive waiters who anticipate my needs before I have to ask, and I felt this could be improved at Bijan. On a positive note, the waiter was nice near the end and asked me why I parked so far. I explained that the sign said “take-out parking only,” and I didn’t want to get my car towed. He reassured me that no one would tow my car, which was nice, and he also handed me a to-go menu. I appreciated his friendliness and helpfulness at that moment. Would I go back? Perhaps; the jury is still out on that. If the service improves, I might consider giving it another try.

The food was delicious, though it could have been even better. The menu could really use a makeover—the pages are tearing. Also, the prices should be updated properly, ideally with a printer instead of a Sharpie, because I over paid $20 because of the incorrect pricing on the menu. The under dishes were dirty and made the table dirty.

Food wise, i must say their food is pretty good. But billing wise I am extremely disappointed. They bring the electronic bill on that iPhone looking tablet that only shows the amount due. There is no option that I know go back to view the itemized bill. Once you click ok on the amount due it then ask you for tip option of 7% 5% or 3% or no tip. Worst part is that the actual amount due already is inclusive of 18% gratuity which is not shown. I simply HATE places that charge 18% gratuity on party of 3 or more. And then the audacity to ask additional tip of 7% 5% or 3%? Bijan, Reza, Avesta, Cafe Caspian all these Persian restaurant do the same. So I stopped going to all of them. I wish I had asked for a printed bill before paying it at Bijan. Kasra Persian grill is the only Persian restaurant that I know that still offer paper bill and no gratuity added for party less than 6. Kasra is and has been my only preferred Persian cuisine place for years. I only went to Bijan because I was in the area I was hungry and it was kinda late. But NEVER AGAIN. I simply HATE 18% auto tip AND even hate it more when I am deceived/robbed.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I went to this restaurant about two weeks ago during the night shift with my two sisters and one kid. I’ve been there several times before, and everything has always been excellent — especially the Kobida Kabab, which is my favorite. But this time, I was disappointed because while we were still finishing our meal, a young lady from the staff came to take the plates and asked several times if we needed anything else, as if she was in a hurry for us to leave. This was the first time I experienced this kind of behavior. I really hope the manager checks the cameras and notices how the staff rushed customers. The food is still amazing, and I hope the service goes back to how it used to be because this restaurant is one of my favorites.

I was very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The service was slow, and it took a long time before anyone came to take our order. When the food finally arrived, it was not fresh and did not taste good. The portion sizes were small compared to the price, which made it feel overpriced. In addition, the table and surrounding area were not very clean. Overall, the experience did not meet expectations, and I would not recommend this place.

I used to love this place but I went this week for iftar and the food was not cooked properly, even though I didn't finish my meal, whatever I did eat gave me food poisoning. I'm still sick in bed because of it for two days now. It's very unfortunate. Do not order the seafood here.

We have visited this restaurant several times before, and the food was good and the prices were reasonable. However, during this visit, the experience was disappointing. There were six of us, and the cost per person reached $70, which is quite high compared to the quality provided. It seems that the prices have increased due to the new décor, but unfortunately, the food quality was not good this time and did not justify the cost.

We are a regular here and we make sure we tip a good amount. However this time, when I was going to make a payment the manager lady particularly asked for the tip and had the audacity to say “tip is not included” (bear in mind I was paying cash) and then she kept the tips to herself instead of giving it to the servers like bro you are the manager , please have some self respect. Such a disappointment.

Let’s start with when you walk in this place, there’s no greeting. You’re immediately faced with staff that look like they do not want to work there. The restaurant was full of flies and tables were not very clean. The menus were in disgusting condition, they definitely never wiped them down, let alone keep them in usable condition (broken and falling apart). When it came to ordering we ordered a couple of different plates, a few beef options, and a few chicken options. Best to just leave it at the Food was not great at all, mediocre at best, Not flavorful. The bread that they provide is as flat as a piece of paper and as hard as cement. They did remodel the restaurant, it is a very sorry attempt to look like an upscale restaurant while still utilizing paper napkins. Oh, I forgot to mention, only reserve tables get cloth napkins here and if you don’t have a reservation, you’re not treated kindly. Btw they do force tip 18% for no service. Do yourself a favor skip this place spend your money elsewhere, they have increased prices to match the prices of even nicer Persian restaurants that offer way better customer service and quality of food.

Food is mediocre. Not sure if it was just what we ordered but every item we tried was okay. We got stews mostly and 1 beef sandwich. I don't know if it's because I am a specific type of brown (South Asian) but service was not great. We were in the corner in the old area with 2 kids. It was freezing so we had to finish quickly. We had to track down people to get things/service. First time coming and will not be coming again. The stews I got were tangy and just not the type I would get again. Hummus was the only thing that tasted good. Also there was a lady that parked closely to my car and would not move her car until she was forced to and caused a scene. Definitely not the vibe or type of people I would want to surround myself with.

I have been there twice. The first time, we had a great experience and felt so welcomed. The Persian people, who I believe are the owners, made us feel very comfortable, and we loved the food—that’s why we wanted to try it again for the second time. Unfortunately, our second visit was disappointing. When we arrived, the girl with curly hair seemed very unwelcoming. There was no greeting; instead, she directly asked, “Inside or outside?” We said inside and pointed to one table, but since my husband changed his mind, we politely asked if we could sit at another table. She said nothing, just placed the bread on the new table, and asked if we wanted any drinks. We told her we needed a little time and would let her know, and right away she mentioned that they would be closing at 9:30 even though we had arrived at 9:07. My husband checked their website and saw that closing time was listed as 10:00. When the girl came back and asked if we were ready, I mentioned that the website said they close at 10:00, and asked why she had said 9:30. She responded that the kitchen closes at 9:30 and they won’t take any more orders after that, but customers can stay until 10:00. The way she said it, and her overall attitude, made us feel very unwelcome. Good customer service should never make customers feel like a burden. I understand that working can put pressure on you, but there should always be support so that customers don’t end up feeling that way. Because of this experience, we decided to leave and sadly, we will not be coming back.
