I will say I love this coffee shop. Not just because I'm a veteran as well. Because I enjoy all things coffee. I like the coffee beanery also and the small mom and pop coffee shops like in Fredericksburg all those types. I've never been a fan of Starbucks. All their coffee drinks are to sweet with almost no coffee flavor.I may as well go to Sonic for a shake. But I highly recommend anyone to try this shop.

Always been a huge fan of Black Rifle but I do have to say their coffee inside the shop is hands down better than Starbucks next door. Plus great customer service and nice little shop to get some badass merchandise. If you never had Black Rifle I definitely suggest you try it and never want a Starbucks ever again.

I have no problem whenever I go to a black rifle coffee shop. I always feel welcomed and invited. The staff always go over and beyond.The manager even checked up on me and asked me how I was doing. Their coffee is the best I've ever had. I've stopped going anywhere else and I only buy from them.

Being a veteran that has lived in 8 different countries and had so many different types of coffee, I'm a huge fan of robust Medium and Dark roast coffee. Black Rifle Coffee Company definitely reminds me of the strong European brew that I learned to love in Germany. People who complain about the coffee are just simply uncultured and just not use to coffee like this. And the pour over coffee?? Maaaan that hits the spot. Even the darkest roast comes out smooth and every flavor note comes out as a balance. It's safe to say that I have an obsession with this place. The personnel are very polite and knowledgeable as well. Sandy is my personal favorite!

Got a hot chocolate. Something different than the normal americano. Always excellent and fresh tasting. The people are always wonderful to talk to, plus they are happy. Which I love. The cinnamon buns were warm and fresh. They tasted great. Will always return.

As a person that has been following them on Instagram since the beginning. The videos and stories are what made me a fan. By far the best coffee company in the nation. This was our first time at BRCC and we went all out, bought multiple bags of coffee and T-shirt’s. The store was very clean, the baristas were amazing to talk to and the coffee lives up to its name.

Came here yesterday with my man and pup for the first time and was genuinely surprised. The lady walked us through the menu and suggested the perfect items for us. When we got to the drive thru window, she saw our pit, Zeus, and gave him a delicious treat hehe. Great service, food, coffee AND a veteran discount?? Whaaaat??? I’ll probably be here every day. Really good coffee and egg bites and no one in line. Starbucks is directly next door and had a line around the building ha ha. My daughter worked at Starbucks for 4 years and we both like BR better, more robust coffee flavor less fru fru. Oh chocolate chip muffin was yummy too.

Coffee is delicious!! Bold, strong, and flavorful. Food leaves a little to be desired. Tried the Hit Honey Saudage Biscuit and Blueberry Scone. Both were a bit dry. Will be back for coffee, definitely. I will leave the food alone for now

Best cup of coffee around, I especially enjoy their mocha! Great service every time I’ve gone in. They have a fun seating area I enjoy doing computer work at if I want to get out of the house. It’s nice being able to see and purchase some of the merchandise in a brick-and-mortar store I’d usually have to find online.

My girl always knows my order. I pull up in my green jeep and she knows it's me. They are always friendly here and we have never had any issues when ordering from here. Even if I am not satisfied with the drink they will remake it for me!

My first retail experience while traveling exceeded my expectations. I ordered a iced roasted hazelnut latte. One of the strongest and tasty coffees I've had ever. Was given a veteran discount too. Great place! Look forward to going again to try additional options and items.

I’m glad Starbucks next door closed down for construction, because I got to try BRCC and I gotta say, it’s 100 time better. Everyone there is nice. Try their pumpkin 🎃 drinks, I’ve never had a REAL pumpkin spice coffee from a coffee shop until now! They also support the Military 💚

Highly recommend. Their coffee is on point and just as good as Starbucks. I love their gear and accessories. There are surveys you can take that will give you a free small coffee… every time you order a coffee- which means you could get free coffee every other order. Only downside is they need to step up their app

I don't consider myself a serious coffee drinker but I real enjoy this spot. Starbucks is always packed so one day I decided to try Black Rifle and now it's my go to location for a pick me up. I don't go for the fancy drinks, I just need a boost sometimes. The staff is nice at helping me decide with recommendations. They are patient. Coffee comes with an extra shot and them breakfast sandwich are so good.

This is the best coffee I've ever had!! I use to go to Starbucks for my afternoon cup but will end up paying a fortune for watered-down coffee. At Black Rifle all aspects, standard, and expectations exceed what I desire in my experience. The prices are fair and the product is down right delicious and I am happy as a vet to get a discount. Not only do I get the discount they actually ask you if your active, vet, or first responder. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!

Due to a remodeling of another location, we gave it a try and have been back even after the remodel was finished. We absolutely love this place. Sometimes the coffee is super strong. But enjoy each time.

I tried their vanilla latte iced coffee for the first time today and must say that it tastes almost exactly like the Starbucks vanilla iced coffee (when Starbucks makes it right). The service was fast, the employees were friendly. I think I may have just found my go-to coffee shop. I will have to return a few times to see if the flavor stays consistent (because the same Starbucks drink always has a different flavor every time I go) and if it does I will become a regular.

Didn't try the food, so I feel bad not rating it. I hope it doesn't affect their rating for food...I promise to check it out soon. Why would I make that promise? We always kept saying we would stop in but something always got in the way. We stopped in to kill time while we were getting our new tires were getting replaced. We just grabbed a couple drinks and checked out the clothing and other items in the shop. My wife had the best mocha she remembers having. I stole a sip and it had complexity -- it wasn't overly sweet and not just "cocoa." I just did an iced coffee and was very happy with it. So much to try out there.

I just tried Black Rifle for the first time. I was so impressed! I refuse to go to that other coffee place and the Dutch Bros that they built in my town is just to far away to go to. My husband had gotten a gift card for Black Rifle and gave it to me because I had said I would like to try them. I got a Blended Mocha Latte and I found my new coffee place. Dutch Bros blended drinks are super sweet and you can't taste the coffee but not Black Rifle. It was not to sweet and you really got the coffee flavor that you drink coffee for. Even my husband liked it and he's not a fan of coffee drinks. He likes regular coffee. I definitely recommend Black Rifle Coffee Company.

This location is great, was in yesterday and the forgot one of my sandwiches I ordered. When I called the where great about apologizing and making it right. When I went in they where amazing and tied my order. Every time I have been there they have been amazing. But how they handled this was great. I get coffee from several sources.....I live in the middle of no where. So, I order my coffee beans.... I've bought from several bigger companies, smaller businesses, to mom and pop coffee shops, they all have something to offer. When Black Rifle started, I loved the commercials, I loved coffee, I bought some. They had a good really good product so it was put on my list of places I order coffee beans from. Sometimes I'd order for home, gift, or to take to the station. So imagine my surprise when they had a coffee shop I could walk into that's on the way to my in-laws! This is great news. This is a place where the employees are friendly and fast. A nice variety of coffee.....I really only drink americano.... with extra shots, but my wife is happy they have other options! Black Rifle is a good company that's doing good things! To the employees in Harker Heights, thank you and keep up the outstanding service.

I really like that it is Veteran owned, being a surviving Veteran spouse. I was asked what kind of coffee I liked and was told about the Honey Latte. I really like it! I also got the Caramel Apple bread.

I just moved here 10/24. I am not military. I found this place and will go nowhere else. Their coffee is premium. It is strong and topped off, never skimp. They offer alternatives. They are so nice and never rush you. The legit richness and quality of the product every single time keeps me coming back. A hello to Jason at Harker Heights, he has my order memorized by now and is soo sweet. No offense to 5 pointed deer; it was my coffee home for 35 years, but it is usually 3/4 full water. No wonder you need a double espresso, and they have a discount app.

came here looking for copper but a diamond in the rough of a coffee shop upon entre my family and i were greeted as soon as we walked in by a Barista named Jason. He was very helpful and communicative on which choices would be best. we let him take the reigns on how the coffee would be prepared. Selecting the american dream coffee was my best decision for a hot day, every sip felt like screaming eagles of pure america. it taste just like a cake . thank you Jason for the experience keep being yourself and a great worker

Not a big sweet coffee person so I usually resort to cold brewed coffee. They’re nitro cold brew is very rich and you can taste the quality of the coffee beans that they use. I’ve always been a fan of Starbucks since it’s hard to find a place that has better cold brew but BRC finally did it for me. I tried their cold brew when they first opened and it was a little off but it seems like they finally worked out the kinks.

Very nice shop, good coffee and friendly barristas. They really wanted to give me a 10% discount. Veteran? First responder? Concealed carry? I ordered a 1776, a Betsy Ross, two George Washington's, and an Alexander Hamilton. I was disappointed they were out of Aaron Burrs. I almost asked for a Benedict Arnold but decided not to push my luck. Coffee was excellent.

A seasoned gentleman at the drive thru window gave me phenomenal customer service! It was my first time trying this place and I was having a rough day and his disposition cheered me up! The red velvet waffle is delicious and I'll definitely be back again.

Where do I begin? The staff, the prices, the coffee, the menu...and to be right next door to Starbucks is a flex. I've seen vets hold bible groups here, dads bringing their kids in to just chill, and people come in and out without being disgruntled. The DoD community doesn't have too many places like this to call "their own", but it feels just like that. They're a part of the fam, cause they take care of me and mine each time. 🫡

Love this place. Always clean, well-stocked, and the employees are quite helpful and personable. I’ve had some great convos here. Coffee options are good and the food, though it’s obviously not fresh made, is pretty tasty.

Loved stopping here for a quick hit of caffeine. The decor and inside really gave me a lift in spirit as you realize this company honors those that have fought and died for our country. Cozy and relaxed vibes in this coffee shop. Barista was nice and friendly. Merchandise and to-go products were fully stocked. So much to choose from.

Amazing service... best coffee ever. The batista with the blonde hair - ugh, I can not remember her name... but she was amazing. She helped me find the perfect coffee drink, which was the salted caramel blender with an extra shot of jet fuel. Absolutely delicious. She also took the time to show me some of the merchandise in the store and talk to me about the different tee shirts. I love that a 1st responder and military discount is offered at every transaction. They all deserve that. 10 out of 10.

The best thing about this store is the 10% discount for military, veterans, and first responders. (Doing forget your ID). I enjoyed the military themed decorations. I also like that they took on Starbucks by opening up next to a very busy SB store. My latte was a bit disappointing, but I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. Stay tuned.

First I love this place the sausage eggs and cheese breakfast croissant is absolutely delicious. The spicy rooster is amazing and the chai latte (cold) is awesome and so is the Nitro cold Brew. I tried the hot chai and it’s not good it taste kinda like milky water so I don’t think I will get that again. The coffee cake is absolutely AMAZING my only thing with that is it’s $4.00 and they give you the smallest slice. Looking at it, doesn’t seem like it should be over $2.50. I have gotten it a few times (because I truly think it’s amazing) but every time I get it the size gets smaller. I think maybe have a standard size that’s actually worth $4.00 also the chocolate chunk cookies are fantastic.

Excellent staff. Jet fuel coffee drink is delicious. Croissant sandwiches are much better than Starbucks' sandwiches but still went to the taqueria right after cuz you're girl needs some real food. Still though, very yummy.

As I drove down the highway recently, looking for the exit where I knew there was a BRCC, I noticed that every other exit had a Starbucks. And though Starbucks has great tasting coffee, as a veteran and a patriot their values don't align with mine. When I made it to the BRCC, I was told that since it was past 2PM, the only cup of coffee they offer is "Just Black". Honestly, it was the worst cup of coffee I've ever had. As I passed all those Starbucks, I could see the drive throughs were packed. If BRCC is going compete, they're going to have to offer a better tasting cup of coffee... even if it's past 2PM. Starbucks serves a good cup the entire time their doors are open. I love some of your flavors BRCC, but let's not get cheap on the customer when others are willing to compromise their values for a cup of coffee.

Always a friendly and helpful staff when we go in. Don't live in that area but when we visit, always try to stop.

Great customer service, friendly baristas. Really clean spot. However, coffee wasn’t great. I don’t have a super high opinion of Starbucks, and I think it fell short of that. I’m not sure why, the lattes I ordered just didn’t taste like lattes. One I ordered unflavored (so I can appreciate the coffee!) and it tasted more like warm milk than coffee. Which I find funny - the baristas told me about their “two shot default” so “you always have a strong drink.” I believe them, but it didn’t taste like that. Could be the fact that half and half is their default dairy - which in retrospect, I should have declined. It’s odd to make espresso coffees with half and half versus just milk. And there’s two takes on this: myself, who likes unflavored, classic coffees (black drip, unflavored lattes, Americanos, cappuccinos) and my wife who likes fun Starbucks drinks. We each ordered something we were sure we’d like and neither of us finished ours.

The coffee is great it's dark roast so be careful chugging it, the food is amazing, and the music is good as well. Nice chess board in the lobby to relax with. I recommend the blended moca and the white chocolate coffee ☕️ *The lobby is kind of cluttered with the sales shelves in the front of the seating area. There are just too many shirt racks here . I would say completely remove the shirt racks on the main floor. *Too much stock can give the appearance that not many frequent the establishment. These should be in a back storage room. The coffee grounds should be closer to the register, not on the seating floor.

I will say they have the most interesting door handle and sugar bar I’ve ever seen in a coffee shop. The place was super clean and very friendly fast people working that I interacted with, I did not like my choice of drink I got( first time here) but I will definitely give it another go and try something else while I’m in the area. I think it was just my choice because I’ve had their brand of coffee before (love it) at home just this is the first coffee shop of theirs I’ve been to.

I would give a 4 star but it's inconsistent. I really enjoy this place and the fact I'm supporting an American business! The problems that we have had is the inconsistencies in the coffee. You will order the same cup 5 different times and each cup is different. You're either really satisfied or disappointed. The problems with the inconsistencies is a combination of things from the shot pour to flavoring and temp. Recently the shot pour has been so off that the coffee turns sour which is a big turn off. I think this can easily be addressed with some quality control training on how to time the shots and calibrate the grinders on the fly as needed. The flavoring is a little bewildering as it should be as simple as counting the pumps but maybe the coffee being so sour recently it takes away from the quality or the fact the directions are not being followed. Then the temp could be fixed with a simple batista thermometer. Bring that milk up to a frothy 160 is ideal and simple to manage with a $3 thermometer.

Service is amazing and super friendly! Now I know they just opened so lines will be long that's understandable BUT, the coffee itself was a bit disappointing, we ordered a hot white mocha, an iced vanilla latte and a small hot chocolate, I'm not sure if the white mocha wasn't mixed properly or something but it had a burnt coffee taste to it and not much white mocha at all, the vanilla latte also had a touch of burnt coffee flavor to it as well as a slight sour taste in it, the hot chocolate didn't have much chocolate flavor and also had a sour after taste to it. All together we will be giving them another shot once things slow down a bit to avoid anything that might be caused by the rush of customers. I've had black rifle coffee before made at home and it's really great coffee.

Disappointed. The coffee was ok. Not as flavorful as I had hoped. I ordered a medium and if this is a medium I’d hate to see their small. Over priced for the size. $5 for a cup smaller than my kids sippy cup. I don’t know if I was given the wrong size or what but for the price I’d rather go to Starbucks- which I’m not a huge fan of. Used a pen for size reference. The best part of my order was the customer service. Very friendly staff. They offered suggestions since it was my first time there. Don’t think I will be going back sadly. I wanted to support veteran owned but for the prices I can make sense of it. Might try a bag of grounds to take home as the price seems better. I’d have to think about it though

3 stars because the coffee was good. It was a little too sweet for me but next time I’ll say less vanilla flavor. I usually go to Starbucks but wanted to try BRCC. My order at Starbucks is around 5$ for a large. And here I spent a good 8$ it’s over priced and the large was more like a medium for me lol

PLEASE do some serious cleaning of the black tea pot/kettle/decanter, whatever it’s called. This is the 2nd time this week the tea tasted old and dirty. I decided to return today after 2 weeks. The tea was a weak tea and still tasted dirty. It was close to being clear. I took a picture if you’d like to see it. The employee tried to blame it on the last of the tea and if I wanted to wait they would give me another tea. Why is the company serving less than black tea and waiting for customers to complain about it instead of saying it will take several minutes to make the black tea properly? Since Starbucks has been doing renovations next door your company had the perfect opportunity to build new loyal customers. For me you failed for the 3rd time over 3 weeks.

Big fan of the style, the look of the store inside. I have gone through the drive through once and coffee was pretty good. I decided to go into the store Halloween evening, after the kids went through their trunk or treating, which, while small, was fun to see and go through. When I went inside I couldn’t figure out where the line began, asked some people at the front if they were in line and they weren’t. So go to the side near the counter, waited for a few mins, no one paid me any attention. And then a lady walks in hops near the counter and was immediately greeted and served. I’m not giving up just yet, as this was a single experienced, but I found the whole experience a little frustrating. So I chose to leave.

i have been here MANY times with no issues, friendly service. I went threw the drive thru Wednesday June 18th . i ordered 3 drinks. the wait time was very long, they said they were under staffed. i told them not a problem we didn't mind waiting for the drinks .None of them were drinkable. they were EXCESSIVELY sweet, and for one of them they asked if i wanted whipped cream on it. i said no thank you. When they passed it to me, it had whipped cream on it. i was very disappointed! the 1st drink was thrown into the trash right away, the two other full drinks were returned to the store. first thing in the morning on June 19th. i told them how bad the drinks were and there solution to resolve the issues was a verbal apology. no attempt was made on their behalf to fix the problem. i paid for my todays drink and carried on with my day.

My husband and I were excited to hear that BRCC was up and running in Heights. We went one afternoon and were so excited. We ordered a small hot chocolate, a caramel latte and horchata latte. I am honestly sad to say that we were disappointed with these drinks. The hot chocolate tasted like watered down chocolate, the caramel and horchata latte didn't have any taste at all. I love this company and what they stand for. The customer service was amazing but the flavor just wasn't there.

Got in at 11:25, waited for around 10 minutes before finally getting my order. Note that I was the ONLY person in line. I specifically ordered the nitro cold brew to make up for the time. Instead, the barista took TWO orders after me immediately, instead of making them wait like she made me wait. She even skipped me and made one of their hot coffees before mine. Chatted with them casually as well, while I stand there waiting for a coffee that took only 25 seconds to pour when she finally felt like doing it. I even left a 5 dollar tip! I've never been so disappointed. I worked 15 years in the service industry and it felt like the biggest slap in the face. I tried to really like this place, but both times the service is so SO insanely slow, this time was blatantly rude. Save your money and time and go to Starbucks next door. I could've went through the drive thru twice (they had 10+) cars by the way, and still would've gotten done before my cold brew was poured Ha. FYI I got out the door at exactly 11:45. 20 minutes of my life I'll never get back. 😑

I came here the other day my first time and I was excited. So I ordered my favorite type of coffee white mocha add Carmel. Customer service was great no issue there. When I got my coffee and took that first sip I was very upset!! I don't if they were have a bad day or forgot to put the expresso in or milk or what my it literally tasted water down wasted my money.

The employees here are friendly and provided good customer service. But unfortunately the coffee/latte drinks were absolutely disgusting. I’ve been here 3 times to give it another chance and ordered different drinks each time. They all were watered down and I could barely taste the flavor. Just save yourself the hassle and disappointment and go next door to Starbucks.

We have had black rifle coffee before and liked the coffee, just not at this establishment. We ordered an iced latte and a hot coffee, they got inventive and decided to make mine an iced coffee. I sent it back. When we did get what we ordered, we both took one sip and dumped both of them out! Truck stop coffee is better!

I have extensive experience in customer service and have worked in fast food as well. I’ve been ordering coffee from Black Rifle Company daily, but lately, I haven’t encountered the same person taking my orders. Unfortunately, the coffee hasn’t been prepared correctly, and twice now, they’ve removed the milk from my drink. I think the employees may need some retraining or reminders to ask the right questions about specific orders since I always get the same thing. I’m becoming increasingly frustrated because I have to drive back to ensure I receive what I paid for. There’s one employee—who I think is the manager—who consistently gets my order right, but when others take my order, it seldom turns out correctly. For instance, I always order a 1776 with an extra shot, no whipped cream, and half and half. Today, the coffee was extremely dark and tasted very bitter because they didn’t add any milk. The tag on the cup even stated "no milk," but I never asked for it to be left out; I just requested half and half to be added because the man who usually takes my order ^^ will ask me and I will say yes.. This issue has occurred for the past three days, and I can no longer enjoy the coffee I once loved. Retrain employees!

I got a coffee here and stuck around to study here. Then I stayed until the afternoon and got hungry. The sandwiches aren’t that great. They are like cold airport sandwiches and cost $7+ and don’t even come with mayonnaise. Then my biggest issue is that I ordered a $3.55 tea with my lunch. I waited over 5 minutes combined with standing in line, waiting for the drink, etc. I thought the tea looked a little small, but didn’t argue at the store. When I got home though, I realized that the tea is specifically labeled a 24 oz size, and was in a 16 ounce cup 🤔 it wasn’t great tea either. Definitely not worth $3.55, even if it was in the correct sized cup. I love their coffee, but won’t be coming back to the stores, just drinking it at home. Also, beware of the cockroaches crawling on the floor.
