Què diuen els clients de Breakfast Klub
The Breakfast Klub is highly praised for its NY-style pizza, especially the crust. The all-beef pepperoni is a must-try. However, some customers have found the pizza subpar, particularly the supreme, and some salads were reported as sour.

Was in town for a Baseball Game and met up with friends to get pizza (we were craving some). It was late after 9:30pm and this place popped up on our search. We were so happy we came. The pizza was perfect, we requested well done and it was crispy yet thick enough not to be too thin. The toppings were fresh and the salad was delicious. It was the pear, Gorgonzola and pecan salad. Plus they had chocolate chip cookies that were thick, soft and fresh out of the oven.
My friend and I were walking around the area and we saw this pizza joint. We’re fans of NY styled pizza and let me just say, it was SO good. The place is such a vibe too! I even for a free slice because I believe the wrong one was made for another customer. Therefore, I got a slice of cheese pizza on the house. Made my day!
The atmosphere is unique and very downtown. The service is excellent. The pizza is some of the best pizza I have ever had. the price is fair for the size of the large pizza. During this visit we got a salad and it comes out to be a Caesar salad which was very fresh, crisp and Hardy. We got two large pizzas for our party of eight which was more than enough. The first pizza was pepperoni. All those and mushrooms which everybody loved. That was perfect. The second pizza was pepperoni and sausage which the sausage pieces are quite large and that pizza was very heavy compared to the first pizza. The drinks that we got were one root beer, one Mexican cola at the majority of us got black cherry drinks. Which were very good with the black cherry but they were sweet and the mostly tasted like syrup but the kids loved them. The root beer was unique cuz you didn't taste anything like at first it was like water but then at the end that's when you taste the root beer and it taste like root beer candy almost. The Mexican cola was right on. It was very good. Very sweet but it did taste like Mexican cola. These were all drinks that they have there in house they make themselves. For our group of eight, two large pizzas, one with two toppings and one with three toppings and 8 fountain drinks. I have one small salad. Was 109 and change not including tip.. to feed that many people downtown, I want to say it was a fair price and the food was very good. We weren't able to finish all the pizza. We did bring a lot of it home. The slices are very large. The pizza itself is very large. If you go there on your own for lunch I think one slice with a drink would be okay. Even if you go on a date both of you can one slice each and a drink and I feel that that itself should be very filling. Due to the size of the slices.
Great meatball sub, great Italian sub, pizza is killer. My first choice always is the meatball sub, the best ever, the correct roll, cheese, sauce, meatballs, spices all to the perfect bake. The visual and smells are excellent. It's a little hot so my son has ordered the perfect cold sub, the Italian, to start us off. Just put one of their sub wrapping in your fridge, the wonderful smells and you will lure you back to Home Slice. The pizza, family and dog's, first choice.
So happy Home Slice has opened in H-town! BEST pizza in Texas, if not the world!! Lights out as we like to say Houston! We couldn’t wait for official opening on the 14th and had take-out today. Turkey sub (my go-to) & several pizza slices traveled well - still crusty and heavenly after 25 minute drive. Staff is great - Amy is a pro. She recommended white pie with spinach and every bite was wonderful, loved the garlic. Margherita was esp crispy and flavorful. NY style Pepperoni and plain Sicilian slices were Excellent, too!! Nice outdoor dining area - there may be more dining upstairs. Fun atmosphere. We will be back…again and again! 😉 Thank you Home Slice!! Bravo!! 🙌
Homeslice makes it's way to H-town. I mean it's no Frank's Pizza, but it's solid. Great taste, plenty of options to choose from. If you want to grab a slice or a whole pie, sit down and chill on the outdoor patio or take a seat inside, they have it all. Good local beers on draft and plenty of soda options too. They even have a drive through window (for foot traffic) so don't hop the curb. The atmosphere and pizza are great, definitely recommend.
This is one of the best pizza spots in houston and I have tried them all Luigi's Spankys God fathers Love buzz (closed permanently 😞) I have tried them all so when my wife told me that she went to Austin and had this pizza, I was eager to try it. Come to find out they had a houston location next to the breakfast club PURE WINN!!! we had the Button pepperoni ABSOLUTE perfection👌🏾 Amazing place Amazing staff Amazing pizza
We ordered takeout for the office from Home Slice last week. They don’t offer delivery so someone had to run over to pick it up, but it was easy. We ordered the Margherita pizza, Sausage and Ricotta pizza, Pepperoni and Mushroom pizza, Garlic Knots and the Italian assorted sub. The pizza was hot, fresh and enormous (we ordered the large). Knots and sub were also both great, though some were disappointed to find that the Italian comes with mayo on it. Haven’t been to the restaurant in person but definitely recommend their take out!
Pizza was really good and at a solid price too. You have to like some more sharp cheeses on your pizza though. If you just want it cheesy but with less flavor from your cheese, this is not your spot based on what I had. Overall the crust was good and the Sicilian crust was thick but light and airy like you want. Its a cool little place but parking kind of sucks. Staff was fun and friendly. Bathrooms were super clean too! certainly plan to come back.
My recent visit to Home had me savoring a slice of their Sicilian pepperoni pizza, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The star of the show here is undoubtedly the mozzarella cheese, which was generously layered on top of the pizza, creating a creamy, gooey texture that was simply heavenly. Equally impressive was the pizza's crust - it struck the perfect balance between crispy and chewy, providing a solid foundation for the delectable toppings. The pepperoni offered a savory punch, while the crushed red pepper added a pleasant kick of spice, elevating each bite to a new level of enjoyment. Home slice’s Sicilian pepperoni pizza is a testament to the art of pizza-making. With its luscious mozzarella cheese and impeccable crust, it's a culinary experience that I wholeheartedly recommend. A five-star slice that leaves a lasting impression.
I had lunch on a Monday. Found one parking spot in front of restaurant, but the parking lot was very small and the only draw back. Staff were friendly and courteous. Pizza was excellent, really good! Thin crust and delicious. They offered slices as well as entire pies. Lots of options as well as Sicilian pizzas. I would definitely recommend and I hope to be back here again.
This was my first time eating at the Houston location, having gone to the one in Austin many times. Loved the atmosphere of the place, and the customer service was just as friendly as the Austin location. I had a Margarita slice, and Spinach with Ricotta slice. My lady had a Margarita slice. Upon the first bite, we both commented how the slice was crispier and lighter than Austin's. The taste to me was about the same, but the crispier texture made a big difference. Being an original east coast kid, I'm very particular about my pizza and these slices hit it out of the park.
I have eaten at Home Slice in Austin and am glad it is now in Houston. My favorites are the Eggplant Pie and the Cherry pepper and Pepperoni Pizza. In fact, this is the only place I would order eggplant on my pizza! If you go in, they do offer slices and have specials daily. Parking is a little difficult as the parking lot is small.
Wow! Wow! Wow! The hidden gem have been hiding right in plain sight! Price: Whole pizza is around $20 and slices are around $4 and some change! Staff: Personable and kind! Super friendly! Taste: Okay, so boom! The joint makes me forget how calorie heavy the pizzas are because it taste to light and fresh! 😂😂😂 Great prices! Amazing service! Perfect ingredients!? Yes, I’m a new fan of Home Slice Pizza!!
Fun atmosphere and vibe! Great pizza, local soda (not Pepsi or coke!) good salads and excellent meatball sub.
Great slice of pie! Been on the lookout for good new york style pizza. Alot of places claim it but this place actually delivers it. And they got pizza by the slice! Yay! The atmosphere is very hipster, very Austin style and I get it. I like hipster style but I don't like how they mix in a pizza joint, but that's just my preference. No big deal.... moving on. The pizza by the slice is kinda pricey at 5 bucks each, but OK we on the middle of Houston so it's cool. The medium 16 in pizza we got was 24 bucks, i thought that was a good deal for such a good piece. We asked to cook it extra crispy and they did that pizza right!. The crust was so crispity and crunchity. The undercarriage was golden brown and delicious. Had some flop to it but we got the ricotta, sausage and peppers and I think it weighted it down some. Like it's said, we got the sausage, ricotta cheese and peppers, the number 6, it was very good. Maybe a little too heavy on the ricotta but that was the only flaws see with the pizza. Greasy cheese, the sauce to die for and I was living for the crust. Highly recommend this place, just keep it a secret it has Austin roots lol
If you ever find yourself in Houston craving some pizza definitely check out Home Slice Pizza! I have tried a few different pizzas from here and they are all so good. It's also just such a cute pizza place and has a really good atmosphere. The workers are also very nice. I recommend the white sauce pizza or a thick crust peperoni.
The service was amazing! I had the sweetest woman help accommodate for my food allergy (severe peanut allergy). She ensured the pizza was safe and the only nuts were pistachios and walnuts. The Margherita pizza was so delicious and I highly recommend!
Love the atmosphere, pizza was so good, thin crust at its best, all cheese reminds me of New York pizza. Service was great. Definitely be back for me. Parking can be a little challenging but there is someone always coming in and out.
Wow, for a pizza place that opens so late, this might be one of the best tasting pizzas I’ve ever had! The looks may be deceiving, but the pizza was so thin yet I had enough texture for that slight chew and crunch. The cheese was on point. The smell of the pizza itself was already amazing, it was so delicious! Good service and very convenient. I highly recommend it would come back.
Fantastic pizza spot with its roots in Austin. This location absolutely delivers on both taste and quality. The service is solid, friendly, and genuinely fun to chat with. Seating inside is limited and parking can be a bit tight, but it’s an easy short walk to the door. Inside feels cozy, and there’s a heated patio that’s perfect during cooler weather. It’s well worth the drive from the suburbs for a truly great slice. This isn’t kid-style pizza—this is legit, NYC-style pizza done right.
I had a slice from a co worker and loved it. Ordered online, went to pick it up, lady called my name, I grabbed the pizza and headed home. Once home I opened the box... Wrong pizza. It had pepperoni, mushrooms, and black olives. Not too big a deal, just inconvenient. I called, they were extremely apologetic, and offered to refund me, or make it again immediately, or even said I could pick it up another day. I opted for immediate remake. THEN... Management said they would refund me for the inconvenience. I did not expect that since the final cost of the large 2x pepperoni was 35 bucks. I get there, swap pizzas, again, with a gracious amount of apology from EVERYONE there. THEN... They also give me a small red envelope with my name on it, which had a voucher for a free large pizza! You could not pay me to talk bad about this place. Outstanding customer service, delicious pizza, fantastic atmosphere! This place cares! Shout out to the staff. I hate I didn't get any names, I was so flustered with the generosity that I tried to get up outta there quick! Plus, look at the pizza! I couldn't wait to dig in. 10 outta 10, would recommend!
I usually go to Franks Pizza in DT but someone mentioned this place was the closest to NY style pizza. We ended up paying $30 for a med pie after we added additional toppings and fyi they dont offer Candian bacon. I must say overall it was really good, the crust was toasty and very thin, the flavor was more than I expected 😋 I would definitely recommend to anyone seeking that original NY pizza taste!
Quick, Kind, and Delicious! Homeslice Pizza is my go-to spot when I need a fast bite that doesn’t skimp on flavor. The staff are always super friendly, and that special price deal? Totally worth the stop. Whether you’re grabbing a slice on the run or just need a break from the Midtown hustle, this place delivers—literally and figuratively. Great vibes, great value, great pizza. --- Want to add a photo or boost visibility with a clever reviewer headline? I like the crusts and the quality of ingredients they use. My favorite was probably the cookie surprisingly, it's the perfect amount of salty and sweet. The pies are better than the squares imo, make sure to ask about hot honey too, I feel like that might have saved the square
Best pizza in Texas easily. Get the True and tried #6 and add pepperoni. Thank me later. Best pizza you’ll probably ever taste. Only NYC style pizza in Brooklyn I’ve tasted is better. Do not hesitate to come here.
Came here a bit over a week ago from the time of this review. I once made the mistake of going to the spicy girl next door cause I wanted something new. When I say the pizza was amazing I mean it was a damn good pie. I’ve been here a few times and this last visit was truly the best experience. A gentle man named Bo took our order and was professional & friendly right off the bat. Was very understanding of me when I took a bit longer to order as I was overwhelmed by the options. I was with some friends during my visit and they were both also in awe with the experience & quality. Pizza came out hot and lightly crispy with a chew, the marinara has a nice tang to it & the cheese is absolutely amazing. We went to go get a dessert after we finished eating cause we were still feeling a bit peckish & these 2 wonderful employees Ms. Kharma & Ms. Erica were so vibrant and expressive in the best way possible. We ended up getting the tiramisu cause my friend ended up saying it was my birthday (which it wasn’t) but it made no difference as Ms. Kharma & Erica seemed to really want me to enjoy this tiramisu no matter what. Light & fluffy with a not overly strong coffee flavor. The lady fingers were delicate and the cream had a nice fluffy-ness. Definitely coming back in hopes of thanking them.
Fantastic experience visiting Home Slice Midtown! I asked what they were known for, and we were presented with the perfect sandwich - the Italian assorted sub - and two pristine slices of pizza - white pie with spinach and pepperoni. As Chicago natives, we hold great pizza in the highest esteem and this is the whole package, featuring chewy crust and flavorful toppings. The sub sandwich was the best I’ve ever had, anywhere, ever. I loved learning about the business from the wonderful team (love love love them!!!), and the ambience was delightful. Ten out of ten for a truly memorable experience and phenomenal meal.
I first tried Home Slice about 20 years ago in Austin for the first time off of S. Congress Ave and it was packed and the pizza was good. When I moved back to Houston decades later I found out they built a location here and had to try it. Been coming here for years now and it's always good still. The pizza is fresh, the crust is light and crunchy with excellent sauce to cheese ratio. This is true for an entire pie to go or with the single slices you can get at the pickup window at the side where they only accept card. It's a little on the pricey side, but it's worth it as an occasional treat. Weekends it's very busy and nearly impossible to find a spot. You can't park on the same street where the slice window is because it's always full as those spots are for the other surrounding businesses but they are also paid parking that you can use the app/kiosk with if by some miracle you find a spot. The actual pizza place has 6 spots right in the front for customers and 5 behind those by the building but I've seen the employees park there so good luck. To get some slices, it's best as a 2 man operation with one ordering and one driving around in circles. It took about 5 minutes to get 3 slices on a busy Saturday. The wife and kids love this and say it's their favorite, I give it a 7. It's better than the other corporate pizza chains you can find like pizza hut, dominos, etc, but Lou Malnati's is my favorite in Chicago. Actually all time favorite was Pistol Pete's Pizza back in the 80's off Spencer and Shaver here in Pasadena, probably because I used to drink beer and play games there as a kid with my dad.
For my money, the best pizza in Houston. Where they really nail it is the crust. It's perfect NY style pizza, with the crust very thin at the middle and slowly thickening as it moves outwards. The crust has perfect "bindy-ness" throughout, with just the right amount of chew to it, and it holds its structure. It doesn't flop down with all the toppings at the end of the slice like many thinner crust pizzas do. The pizza is perfectly browned on the bottom with no burnt bits. The toppings are high quality, as is the cheese and sauce. No ingredient is overpowering, and I'd recommend getting the pepperoni and mushroom first then exploring other combinations. I could distinctly taste the sauce, cheese, pepperoni, and mushroom as single distinct flavors but also melded together. The crust doesn't have much flavor but that's ok since it's a delivery mechanism for the others and its texture and form are perfect. Downsides: 1) no pineapple topping offered, 2) limited seating options for in-house dining. Much better to pick up the pizza or have it delivered and 3) expensive, but you get what you pay for. Spending $30 on a large pizza may hurt your feelings initially, however in this case you get what you pay for. That said, by the time you finish it you'll realize what a fair value it was. The large pizza actually is LARGE and you will struggle to get through more than a 1-2 slices at a time, and that doesn't even really factor in that this is the best tasting pizza you'll have had in a very long time. My wife simply does not like pizza... She never wants to get it and is very picky of the big box places and typical bar pizzas. She never eats my leftovers. Well she crushed 2 slices of Home Slice when it was fresh last night then hit me up today at noon asking if she could have it for lunch (which I reluctantly agreed to). THEN she told me she wants to have it again for dinner... So yeah, its worth it.
The all beef pepperoni is a must try. You will thank me later.
Probably the best pizza 🍕 in Houston. ALTHOUGH THE CONGRESS ST, AUSTIN LOCATION IS BETTER in every way. But as long as you get your pizza freshly cooked you'll have a good time. BTW I love Houston. JS.
The place has really cool vibes, I love the lowlight and colorful lights it adds a lot of character, I usually just run in and grab a simple slice of pizza. It's cheesy, crunchy and hot! You can also order a side of ranch for dipping! I do like that they have a small bar as well. You just walk in, order at the counter and they’ll call your name for you to come pick it up! (No servers) Perfect place to grab a slice, some wine and sit on the patio under some cool lights!
Nice, friendly atmosphere. Staff pleasant and helpful. Ordered a medium pizza (8slices) half all beef pepperoni pizza with bell peppers and onions / cheese with extra seasoning. Also, we And a ordered a house salad with the dressing on the side. All the ingredients were fresh and tasty.. Root beer for the drink and rice krispy for dessert. I would recommend!
The pizza is one of my favorites. The crust is not too thin yet not too thick/fluffy, it is crisp and flavorful. The sauce is just right, you can taste the spices and its not too acidic. There is not that much indoor seating so you might have to get it to-go or eat outside. (For additional comparison, I prefer home slice over gypsy poets and pie tap's pizza).
Pizza came out quick, we got one specialty pizza for $26.52. It had eight slices and tasted okay. It wasn’t too flavorful so I used a lot of red pepper flakes. Service was fast and the place is cute.
I had been waiting to try this spot for a while now, and finally found myself in the area, so, I figured I would give it a try. The interior is fun and inviting. There is a nice patio, and there's seating inside. The person working the register was very friendly, and the service was great. You can watch from the lobby ad they make the pizzas and take them in and out if the pizza oven. You can also see what pizzas they have ready to sell by the slice. Each slice is large (cut from an 20" pizza). I was impressed with the menu, so, we tried a couple pizzas, calzones, and garlic knots. There are many pizzas you can choose from or you can byo. The pepperoni pizza and Margherita pizzas had great crust, but had a lingering parmesan taste. So, if you love parmesan (or oregano) you will love this sauce! Some tips: Since the food isn't incredibly flavorful you can utilize the Parmesan, peppers, and oregano that's on the table. They also have hot sauce, and you can purchase ranch. The ranch is made in house and is actually flavorful. I would consider getting a calzone over a pizza. I would also consider this spot if you've had a late weekend night in midtown as you can order by the slice and take your food to go. And if you don't want to journey downtown, you can find them available through various food delivery apps. Cheers!
The pizza was super yummy and not greasy at all! Pretty cool environment, nice patio. They have pre made pizzas as well that are quick for to go. They only had pork options for meat though. The large pizza was giant! Parking was a little tight but it's downtown. Overall would recommend
Pizza was good but the salad was sour.
Food is great. Would give 5 stars but they force you to pay a service fee just to order food online. These restaurants need to stop robbing their customers. Then have the audacity to ask for a tip. Bad Business!
I ordered a large pepperoni pizza and garlic knots for pickup. The pizza alone was $28. I wouldn’t go as far to say that the pizza was bad. But for $28, it should be noticeable better than Dominoes and Pizza Hut. It was also very salty. The $7 garlic knots were solid and they gave me a lot of marinara sauce. I genuinely don’t understand why the reviews are so good for this place.
Ok so I’ve heard people rave about this place from Austin so I figured I’d try it out. I got a large supreme pizza that cost me $40 and for it to be the most sub par pizza I’ve ever had is an understatement. I mean where is the sauce on this pie it feels like I paid for a giant grill cheese with pepperoni and veggies. Definitely not worth the arm and leg it cost. If your looking for a good slice check out 2 guys pizzeria on Holcombe they been there for over 20 years and always have promotions and discounts if you order online, way better.

I spent over 2 hours reading reviews between this place, Lunas and one other place. Im taking many Houstonians don't know much about NY style pizza and high quality ingredients. I am not impressed, on door dash I saw many complaints of "too salty", "cold" and that's in the store and also old nasty moldy bread and rotten food. My turkey sub was burnt bread and nasty old turkey breast, the cheese was like plastic and it went into the garbage and I didn't even get my full refund from door dash. Listen to the bad reviews, this place is way overhyped! not worth what they are asking, subway tastes much better than this!!! Go out of business or do it right, I understand inflation but this is unacceptable I feel like I've been food poisoned!!!! t
