Came here for brunch and kyra was great! She had great recommendations and the drinks and food were great. Got the dynamite shrimp. Spicy but not overpowering. The tuna was amazing. The steak was cooked perfectly. Will be back for sure!

We had a great experience. The atmosphere was upscale while still feeling very comfortable, lively, relaxed, and perfect for enjoying a long meal. The food was "on point". The whole fried snapper was phenomenal; generous in size, perfectly crisp at the corners, and cooked beautifully throughout. The sides took it to another level. The Brussels sprouts, mashed potatoes and corn; WoW Service made the night even better. Moni was sharp, attentive, and completely took care of us; a party of 4. She was knowledgeable, well-timed, and welcoming. She elevated the entire experience. We had a ball.....

The steak was tender, other food items were adequately prepared, and the drinks were really good. MAKE SURE YOU CONSIDER PUTTING THE MARTINI COCKTAIL WITH THE PEANUT BUTTER WHISKEY ON THE MENU — DON’T FORGET ABOUT ME 🤣🤣🤞🏽🤞🏽. Looking forward to returning to try this restaurant again.

This was a 10 out of 10 experience. I visited Bungalow downtown Houston with two of my girlfriends for brunch. We were visiting Houston on a girls trip visiting from Charlotte, NC and Virginia. Initially, I’d seen a lot on social media about Bungalow and wanted to try it out for myself to see what the hype was about. I can truly say that from start to finish, the entire experience was phenomenal. The food was excellent!!!! We ordered the whole fried red snapper, the seafood dip, the lobster grilled cheese, the chicken wings, and the stuffed French toast. The fried red snapper is one of the best I have ever had in my entire life. I can honestly say that every single item we tasted was spectacular. Additionally, the aesthetic and overall vibe of the restaurant was superb. It is a beautiful establishment and the service was equally impressive. The alcoholic beverages were also very good, and strong! It has been a very long time since I have gone to a restaurant that possessed all three characteristics: great aesthetic/vibe, excellent food, and excellent service. We enjoyed Bungalow so much that we planned to go back a second time before the end of our trip, but unfortunately did not have a chance to go back. I will definitely be adding Bungalow to my list of staple restaurants that I must eat whenever I am in Houston again. It was a pleasure to support this black owned business. Thank you for providing such a wonderful dining experience.

Recently booked the Chefs Table for my mom’s 50th Birthday Brunch!! It was absolutely stunning! The food was absolutely amazing, especially the Seafood Dip. (If you book this space for your group, you should definitely order 2-3 for the table to try!!) Drinks were great. Shoutout to our bartender Tyson, and our server Kira! They did a phenomenal job and made our experience even better!

First time here this past Saturday for brunch, and I must say I will definitely return! The ambiance is beautiful and very well decorated. The music was also low which I loved, making it easier to have conversion with friends. From the hostesses, our amazing server, to the managers (who stopped by to say hello)…everyone was pleasant and very welcoming! Our server was absolutely amazing. He was knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations. It was a quiet Saturday afternoon and the service was speedy. For drinks we ordered the heartbreaker, the lychee martini, and the sunrise sunset…all were tasty and well made. We ordered the seafood dip which had shrimp, crabmeat, and crawfish; being a self proclaimed seafood expert from Maryland, I must say this dish was delicious with a nice amount of seafood. We also ordered the pancakes, salmon, and bungalow breakfast. Every dish was delightful. I am excited to come back and try their dinner menu! Highly recommend !

I've been here a few times now. Haven't tried everything but they have some good food options. The big thing for me here would be to have access to electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. Would be so convenient, in the busy Galleria area, to be able to charge (slowly) while sitting down to a meal. There's EVs here all the time. This time I spotted 6 (plus mine). I highly recommend contacting Houston business Pangea Charging to help with getting EV chargers installed at this center.

The food was beyond delicious, and they keep it coming until you tap out. The staff was great. The owner came to our table shook our hands and made sure everything was perfect. It’s a cool establishment with indoor and outdoor seating. It’s not a massive venue, but still large enough to have party seating in the bar area. Lighting is dim and sets a good mood , and theres always appropriate music playing throughout . Great food vendor options to choose from , there’s definitely something for everyone. Bar has a happy hour around 5-7 pm with decent prices on some of your favorite drinks. Liquor rack behind the bar counter had plenty of bottles to make whatever you drink of choose would be. If you’re on the area for travel for business, stop by either by yourself or with a group and you are guaranteed to find something enjoyable to eat or drink .

Let's Eat Houston

Fantastic food hall showcasing the wide diversity of delicious cuisine available in Houston. There's something for everybody here and lots of space, which makes it a great spot for groups and picky eaters. Employees are constantly bussing tables and cleaning up so the hall is always clean. There's a very convenient ordering system at each table which allows you to view the menu and order remotely, then pick it up later. Vibe is casual and lively. If you're looking for great food around the Galleria area and can't decide what you want to eat, give this place a try!

With plenty of people-watching opportunities and an energy that peaks during busy hours, it’s a fantastic place to grab a bite and soak in the scene—all at an affordable price. During my recent work trip to Houston, I watched the Chiefs-Buffalo game here on a Sunday night, and the atmosphere was electric. Our bartender, Zane, was professional and polite, though he adamantly refused to serve my friend his favorite tequila, Don Julio 1942. He wouldn’t budge—over his dead body, as he put it. But instead of just saying no, he introduced us to a handcrafted artisan tequila that turned out to be exceptional. It was a bold move, but we respected his conviction, and the recommendation didn’t disappoint. We also visited The Conservatory a few nights earlier, and the bartenders on duty that evening were equally professional, friendly, and—let’s be honest—pretty easy on the eyes. That night, I had the Birria Ramen from the taco joint in the top right corner, and it was phenomenal. Rich, flavorful, and just the right level of spice. Another standout experience was the Tres Leches from the vendor on the bottom floor, across from the bar. The woman running the stand was warm, knowledgeable, and passionate about her craft. Her Tres Leches was some of the best I’ve had—moist, decadent, and perfectly balanced in sweetness. My only gripe? The coffee shop. Both times we visited, it closed just when I was craving a caffeine boost. On the night of the Chiefs game, I swear the moment I thought, I could use an energizer, the barista-in-training and her trainer turned the lights off as if they had read my mind. Maybe it was karma, maybe bad timing, but it was a bit of a letdown. Overall, The Conservatory is a fantastic spot to eat, drink, and enjoy a buzzing atmosphere in Houston. Whether you’re in town for work, leisure, or just looking for a fun night out, it’s well worth a visit. Just don’t count on that late-night coffee fix!

Overall lovely experience. My boyfriend and I came to celebrate and were instantly greeted with a complimentary glass of champagne. We were consistently and carefully attended to by our server, Samyri, who also provided helpful recommendations. The R&B music really set the mood and complimented the aesthetics. At the end of the evening we were surprised with a very sweet treat. In terms of the food; loved the passion fruit mocktail! The crab dip was delicious and worth considering a second trip for. The lobster was very juicy, the Peruvian chicken was good but I wish the chicken was more flavorful in its self (the ahi sauce however, was delicious). I appreciated the crispy yet flavorful Brussels sprouts, but wish the mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese had a bit more flavor to them. Overall, the experience and food were very enjoyable. Keep in mind there’s a 20% gratuity included, overall the entire meal came to approximately $200.

Most recent visit December 2024: We have been back 4 or 5 times since our original visit. The food every time is great. The usual bar tender is great. On our last visit we were disappointed that nobody was around for the tres leches/ice cream so we couldn’t get any. In addition, the bartender was not great - she made good drinks but her attitude was really off-putting. No eye contact, no personality, kind of rude. I hope this isn’t the new normal. First visit Spring 2024: Great ambience on weekend right at lunch time. Busy but no more than 1 or 2 people ahead in line to order. Not a lot of seating so we pulled extra chairs around a table for 2 for our group. Such a fantastic selection of food - we ate from 5 different places and had drinks from the bar. Most of the food we really enjoyed. Prices are high - but we expected that going in since food halls usually are and this one is in the Galleria neighborhood. Very friendly bar tender. Will definitely return.

We went to have dinner on 11-23-25. I’m a little late posting this review, but here it is. Our waitress was very nice, attentive, and truly tried to make our dinner enjoyable. We ordered the filet mignon with creamed corn and mashed potatoes everything tasted good. They also give you a complimentary dessert if you’re celebrating a special occasion, which is a nice touch. 🙂 However, our experience was disrupted by a little fly/gnat that kept bothering us throughout the entire meal. My husband mentioned it to the waitress, but nothing was done about it, and the issue was ignored. To make things worse, I slipped and almost fell on the floor in the path back to my table after returning from the restroom because it was slippery. I’m currently in a leg brace, so this could have been a serious injury. Our waitress noticed and came to check on us afterward. Also, just be aware that you will be subject to an automatic 20% gratuity despite your experience. When you go to a nice restaurant, you expect to enjoy your meal not deal with pests flying around or worry about getting hurt. Other than that, the food was good and our waitress was attentive.

The ceviche was good, but the guy running the place was kinda rude. He very obviously did not want to be working. Also, the ceviche wasn't served with tortilla chips, which we found weird. You have to order and pay for them separately. For the price you pay, that should come with it. The birria tacos place was great service, and friendly. The tacos were pretty good, but the real star there was the fried corn. The strawberry horchata was also delicious. We'll go back again to try some of the other places.

My wife and I were so excited to choose this restaurant as our Valentine’s Day dinner. Unfortunately, our experience was so awful that we feel obligated to leave a review. Despite paying for the entire Valentine’s Day pre-planned package; we never received our first course (oysters), had our second course changed with a substitution and were never notified until it was served to us in a passive manner that we felt obligated to keep it. (Ran out of the packaged item) Then, when our main course was served, there was a cockroach under our plate that ran across our table. We took a picture, notified the server quietly to not cause a scene out of respect, but were very disappointed in the way it was handled. we quickly moved to desert to try and wrap up our dinner as we had lost our taste. We were unfortunately charged full price with no accommodations. We paid quietly and began walking towards the exit. The manager offered to reduce our check by $30 (our original check was $470, so this would be a 6% accommodation) however this was after we had already paid and signed our check and began to leave. The halfhearted gesture left us feeling uncomfortable and in an awkward position. We will unfortunately not be back, nor do we feel that the management team cares too much that it happened. this situation was not properly managed, and no one seemed to care much about it, other than wiping down the cockroach with a napkin and quickly moving on as if it did not happen.
