I had such a great time at Dona Leti’s! The enchiladas were absolutely delicious—perfectly seasoned, hearty, and full of flavor. The Liquid Marijuana drink was a standout too: refreshing, vibrant, and mixed just right. On top of the amazing food and drinks, our waiter Juan made the experience even better. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. If you’re looking for a spot with fantastic food, creative drinks, and excellent service, Dona Leti’s is definitely worth a visit!
BRO - This food was so good! Parking is tight, but Valet Service is free so, no stress! We waited about 30mins to be seated, but forgot all about that once the food arrived! From the Apps to the Mains and even the Banana Pudding dessert... everything was DELICIOUS! The service was also amazing. This is a spot, for sure. Worth the parking pains. Worth the wait. Worth every penny spent. Freaking Awesome.
Saw this place on Facebook. About to find out of it is as good as the pictures look!!! Update: this place is awesome! Go if you get the chance! That's the skillet burrito with fajita, chicken and shrimp and a mangonata margarita. Después de comiendo, ahorita ¡puedo hablo el español!!
Super cool family owned spot. The boys and I came here after our Sunday run down the street and it didn’t disappoint. A bit of a wait but that’s expected at a place like this. Great customer service, I asked for certain songs to be played and they did it but most importantly the food was delicious.
We went on a sat night the wait was an hr decided to come back a wed at 1130 am was easy to get in sat quickly served quickly food was so yummy and hot large portions supper yummy drinks. Server was friendly and informative Will be back over and over definitely a great find. We had the barria egg rolls and steak and shrimp burrito and pineapple strawberry drink
Great spot with friendly service at tables and bar. The margaritas are really good and decently priced for the size. The food portions are very large so good value but the taste is even better. Everything I've tried has been amazing. The birria sampler platter is a good variety of items and enough to share for sure. Street tacos, quesadilla and the birria ramen are also great. You can check in online which is great because the wait can be quite long but well worth it.
I went here while visiting my sister in Texas. It has been on my list to try my last few visits and we made it! There can be quite a bit of a wait for seating but we went a little before 5 and waited for maybe 10-15 minutes. Our waiter was friendly and addressed our questions in regards to the menu. I ordered a mango drink and it was delicious. I also ordered the shrimp and birria tacos which were also delicious. Everything tasted fresh and I had more than enough food to take home. The salsas were good too. Doña Leti’s is on my visit list every time I go to Houston now.
I don't know if the server we had was the best or the food. The portions are huge and shareable, so be mindful. We arrived and there were several people waiting. It was a party of 16 and we waited about 1 hr and 15 minutes. It was well worth it! Even with a large party, service was prompt with no errors. The parking is a complimentary valet (thankfully). I will return if I'm in town again.
Ordered to go because we were told it gets busy. And it was! This food was amazing! It was ready at 8:15pm and we didn’t get there to get it until 8:30pm. Drove 30 minutes home so obviously it wasn’t still hot, but omg it didn’t even matter! It was still so amazing! Steak skillet burrito 10/10 Birria taco plate 10/10 Surf and turf egg rolls 10/10 Pineapple limeade 7/10 only because I didn’t taste any lime or lemon flavor of any kind lol it was just pineapple juice with strawberry puree or something at the bottom. It was still very good though Everything so amazing
Portions are huge and food is delicious- even as leftovers. Server was incredibly attentive, even when it was packed. Several birthday celebrations while we were there- fun and loud, so don't come here thinking you'll have a quiet or romantic night. Parking is pretty much valet only (for tips, and card ok). Prices reasonable. Drinks are fun, pretty and strong.
I'm from out of town and have been hearing about this place for awhile and it absolutely lives up to the hype! The food is seasoned and prepared well, huge portions, and great service. I appreciate that chips and salsa come with the meal; for drinks we tried the Strawberry pineapple lemonade, strawberry limeade, and strawberry horchata and all the the drinks were refreshing/not overly sweet. As an onion lover I really appreciate that they gave me plenty of raw and sauteed ones on the side. The beans are a must, refried or charro! It is a little pricey here and we waited about 45 minutes for a table but I'm my opinion it was definitely worth it.
Where do I start. This place extremely busy which was a good sign. It was a line out the door with at least an hour wait. I must say it was worth it. I ordered the chicken enchiladas which were delicious. They were filled to the brim with delicious chicken, cheese, and sauce. Topped off with more chicken. I also tried the loaded egg rolls and omg they were truly loaded to the max. The loaded nachos had shrimp, meat, cheese, and apparently everything else in the kitchen. If you haven’t already made it to Dona you owe it to your tastebuds to try it. Bring your appetite because the portions will feed you for lunch and dinner. I tried the banana dessert and it was really good also. This place was amazing.
Ate at Doña Leti’s on I-10 and was seriously impressed. I had the pastor wings and a beef gordita, and the food was absolutely amazing. As a former chef, I really appreciate when something stands out and feels genuinely different and this place delivered. The gordita was huge, made with homemade corn, and the beef had a deep smoky flavor like it was cooked in the backyard over mesquite. It came with grilled onions and a grilled jalapeño, which took it to another level. The pastor wings were surprisingly delicious, served over fries with a beautifully balanced sauce of guajillo and ancho chiles, thinly sliced pineapple, and cilantro. Sweet, smoky, and savory all at once. The salsa was good, though I think it would be even better served warm. Service was excellent. I sat at the bar and Brittany took great care of me. It was also really cool to see the owner and his wife working in the kitchen, you don’t see that much these days. I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu. Highly recommend.
It was an hour wait, but it was damn worth it. This place was fantastic on all levels. We shared the Biria Pizza and a Banana Pudding. The Biria Pizza comes bacon wrapped jalapeños, beans, rice, and all the fixings. It's enough for at least 5-6 people. One slice of the pizza with some rice & beans was enough. Get in here and get this ordered. The wait staff were excellent as well. Very attentive and happy. Waldo was our waiter. He's very funny. We truly enjoyed his attitude and since of humor. We'll be back.
This place was bomb. Great vibes, amazing food and waiters. The birria taco plate and egg rolls are so well seasoned, crunchy, tender, and ginormous!! The drink menu is extensive too!! But big warning: it was a 45min wait for a table of 6 on a Saturday night. Other than that it was an amazing time!
Had our 1st meal in Houston at Doña Leti's and we were not disappointed. Everything was ordered was amazing... and enormous!! I had a spicy watermelon margarita that was delicious, my friend enjoyed a berry lemon drop. We ordered the surf and turf eggroll appetizer and could have stopped there. The eggrolls were incredible, must-order item. We couldn't finish them. Then entrees came and we literally took one bite before needing a to-go box. The sizzling burrito must weigh 5 lbs, and it still came with rice and beans on the side. My friend loved the quesabirria tacos. Our server, Liz, was the best!! So sweet, helpful, attentive, and welcoming! We'll definitely be back.
TL;DR it’s a great restaurant deep rooted in tradition that delivers great food if you’re patient enough. Idk what they did to me but soy hablo español desde que comí aquí esta noche. Let me tell you, the portions are BIG. And this is coming from someone who has eaten way too much food in one sitting on multiple occassions😂 Got a chicken taco plate- safe to say I’ve never had such delicious chicken anywhere else. The burrito needs to be handled with two hands at all times because it’s that heavy and loaded. The tortas are peak ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 One thing I hope to experience differently is the wait time- being a small and popular place, they are always packed. We had a 45 minute wait on a Wednesday evening which may be a turn off for some people but the food compensates fully & then some.
After seeing this restaurant advertised I finally got the chance to go here for my birthday. And boy did I have a time! The food was A1. The portions were enormous. The drinks were superb. The price was not bad at all considering how much u get. They gave me a celebratory shot on the house to celebrate my birthday. The atmosphere was great. Our server was still training but she was extremely nice, offered suggestions and was very helpful to us. She did a great job. Can't say enough about this place and my experience. It was wonderful and I'll definitely be back!
We had an amazing experience from start to finish! The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Everything came out fresh and perfectly cooked. Our waiter, Adriana, truly made the experience exceptional. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. Her recommendations were spot-on, and she brought such a warm, welcoming energy to our table. Great food, great service, and a wonderful atmosphere we’ll definitely be back and will be asking for Adriana again!
I would definitely have to rate this place a 10 out of 10. The moment you hit the door nothing but friendly faces and service. This was my first time here and the server made my family feel so comfortable and welcomed. He explained everything on the menu and the food was brought out at a reasonable amount of time. Servings did not disappoint at all you got the bang for your buck, I will definitely be returning....
Arrived at 8:55pm. First off the wait was not an hour for my family of 4 but if it was it would still be worth the wait! Kyle was absolutely amazing from taking the order and making sure he took note of the smallest thing. One of my kid said onion on the side and I missed it but he didn’t! He even played the guess the bill with us in the end! Food was HUGE! Everyone had lunch the next day! I could go on but y’all really need to try it. The Don had my husband feeling so good I covered the tip 😝 we will be back! Thank you Kyle for great Service
Visited on a Friday evening, around 5 for happy hour. There’s valet and self parking available. The restaurant was very crowded. My party of two waited about 30 mins for a table. Our server was attentive, the food was excellent, and the vibes were upbeat. The salsa and chips were the best I’ve ever had. So much flavor in the salsa, nothing bland about it. The portions are huge. I ordered the Birria burrito. I also ordered a margarita. 10/10. Overall, great experience. Highly recommend.
Let me start off with the negatives, does the parking situation suck? Yes but if you see the location you understand why. Is it loud? Absolutely but for good reason, the atmosphere is amazing. I’d recommend checking in online on your way just to save on the wait time. Now on to the food the prices are a bit higher but for the amount of food you get it’s worth the cost. We ordered the pupusa’s, a build your own bowl, birria burrito, and the grand finale the birria pizza. The drinks were fresh and amazing, I can’t judge the pupusa because it was my first time eating them but I would order again in a heartbeat. The birria egg rolls were a different twist but fantastic especially with the consume. The birria pizza is gigantic and could probably feed a family of four on its own. My server Arnold (I think that was his name) but the gentleman was as nice as can be. Very attentive as well. Overall the experience is amazing and I have no complaints. Great food, great atmosphere, will definitely return.
Food and drinks were great! Went during the week for my birthday. Felt a little rushed, we couldn't even pick up the menu good before the waitress was trying to get our order and tell us about how long we had to sit and eat! Other than her being persistent about that everything else was good. It was four of us and we took food home because we were full. Go during the week when it's not as packed and you'll enjoy it...unless you get the waitress that was rushing us. Oh, and the music was a little loud for the small amount of people in the restaurant, so I'm just warning you if that's an issue for you.
My wife and I were in town visiting our daughter, and she suggested we try Doña Leti’s. Great choice. The food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent. We had the beef tacos, quesadillas, and rice with fresh veggie sides. Everything was hot, flavorful, and the portions were very generous. The chips and salsa came out fresh and crispy. We also tried their nonalcoholic drinks, strawberry limeade, ocean blue raspberry, and strawberry pineapple limeade. All were delicious and refreshing. It gets packed quickly on weekends so try to come early. Parking is limited but they are working on expanding into the lot next door. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town.
Very fun place in terms of vibes. I enjoyed the music, customer service, aesthetic and food. They were fully staffed so cleaning and sitting new guest was quick. They did not played traditional Mexican music (came Sunday night) but it was a nice mixture of good music. The portions are really big which makes the higher price Tag worth it. The food was delicious and flavorful. Drinks were as pictured, they took their time in garnishing them. The staff works well and they work together insuring a good customer service experience. I'd recommend. They offer free valet as well.
BELIEVE THE HYPE!!! I love the service from the hostess as well as other employees. While waiting outside, they came out offering water with ice in cups with lids! Thank you very thoughtful and also offered chips and salsa while you wait. Fresh chips were plentiful and the salsas were all very good especially the green 🔥. Our server was Alessandra(sp) she worked her section like a pro. She was very attentive and friendly. She explained the menu and showed me a picture of my meal on how it will look when it comes out. As a visual learner this was perfect! Our food was delicious!! So hot and fresh. I have never had beans and rice that were so good. Even the sour cream tastes homemade 😂 Seriously this place is Amazing. I wish this family restaurant the best 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 I noticed how well everyone works together in the restaurant, great flow 🤘🏽
Doña Leti's is a destination for an experience as much as it is for a meal. It's best suited for groups looking for a lively, loud outing and enormous portions of viral, cheesy, and creative Mexican food. If you value a quiet, quick, or traditional Mexican dining setting, the noise, crowds, and wait times might be frustrating.
There are no words to describe how A M A Z I N G the food is here!!!! 1st time going and I plan to continue to go here until my last breath, yeah it's THAT'S GOOD!! You get A LOT of food and the drinks, omg PERFECTLY made! Our waitress was so professional and treated us like she knew us for years!!!! The atmosphere, the music, EVERYTHING was just perfect!!! If you're looking for some authentic food that's worth your money, come here, hands down, THE BEST I want to give this location 100 stars ⭐
The vibes here gave me a rush. 🔥🔥🔥 The service is top tier! The drinks are top tier! They were high quality with good liquor. I didn't get the bartenders name, but she killed the No way Jose 🥴 Alonso, our waiter was outstanding 👏🏾 The food portion was almost overwhelming but tasted so good 😅 We never felt rushed. We could tell our business was wanted and appreciated. Highly recommend stopping here while in Houston. Once got on the wait list, it was a 45 min wait. They do offer complimentary valet parking. However, spots are limited, so beware it may take some time to get parked. Don't miss out on this Houston staple.
Let me just say this—Doña Leti’s is everything. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was on point. It felt like a hidden gem with soul—warm, welcoming, and full of flavor before we even touched a plate. Service? Impeccable. Everyone was friendly, fast, and made us feel like family. You can tell they take pride in what they do. Now the food… listen. We ordered the surf and turf burrito, birria quesadilla, the birria sampler, and finished off with the fried cheesecake—and I’m still thinking about it all. The burrito was huge, packed with juicy steak and shrimp, perfectly seasoned. The birria sampler was a flavor bomb—rich, tender, and melt-in-your-mouth good. And that fried cheesecake? Straight-up sinful. Crispy outside, creamy and dreamy inside. Easily one of the best desserts I’ve had in a long time. Everything came out hot and fresh, and every bite had us doing a happy dance. If you’re looking for a spot that delivers on flavor, experience, and hospitality, Doña Leti’s needs to be your next stop. Trust me—you’ll thank me later.
My wife came across this spot on TikTok so we had to check it out. OMG is what we both said when we received our food. I had the fattest burrito in my life and it was on point. I was able to only eat just one half of my burrito. My wife had the loaded steak fries and they were delicious. Flavor was definitely not an issue. We both had food left for later. The drinks also did not disappoint. Great atmosphere and the service was amazing. I would highly recommend checking out this spot. They have valet parking which is recommended. Best thing to remember is to NOT park in Denny’s or hotel parking lot or you will be towed.
When I tell you I love this place and will visit here and eat again. I can’t describe the amazing food experience that I had here. The staff was very friendly and the food was even better. The price wasn’t that bad either I spent $43 dollars on the birria sampler and a side of churros. There was about a 20 minute wait which I didn’t mind because the atmosphere was impeccable. You could sit and the bar and order a drink. They played up to date music and it was a friendly vibe for an afternoon on a taco Tuesday. Please visit Dona Leti’s and experience this for yourself if you are ever in the Houston area.
Doña Leti’s – Great First Visit! My wife and I visited Doña Leti’s for the first time and had an amazing date night. The 45-minute wait for a table was totally reasonable for a weekend evening. However, I’d suggest they switch to vibrating coasters instead of relying on text messages to notify when your table is ready—we almost missed ours due to a delayed text. Once seated, everything was fantastic. Our waiter, Jorge, was incredible—super attentive and friendly. And the food? Absolutely AMAZING. We’ll definitely be coming back again!
When I tell you this a must. IT IS A MUST!! The food was amazing, the employees were funny and on point. The drinks were so cute and yummy!! Keep in mind I don’t enjoy the taste of alcohol so the drinks to me were perfectly blended. The birria tacos TO DIE FOR!!!! The egg rolls were on point. I could go on about how greats the food and drinks on. You will have to go for self and experience it.
Doña Letis did not disappoint! This food is phenomenal - large, quality, and delicious portions. I love the upbeat atmosphere and fast service for being packed. The horchata is delicious! A mix of hip hop, pop, and Mexican music is played. It's impossible not to dance and have a smile on your face while dining.
What a vibe this restaurant is. We got there 12pm Sunday and waited 15min for a table. Drinks are smooth and strong. Food was delicious and huge portions. Makayla took great care of us. They played some good mixes of music. This is a fun spot for girls night and families with older kids. Valet is the only way to park and it’s complementary.
I understand why everyone recommends Doña Leti’s. The parking honestly scared us away but they have complementary valet. We didn’t wait at all because it was just a party of 2 & we went at 11:30 am on a Sunday. The Appetizer were so good that we needed up getting basically full but we still ordered a couple of items to try more of the food options & they did not disappoint. Strawberry lemonade is a must. The Mangonada Margarita was good , so yummy but you can taste and feel the alcohol. At the end of the day you pay for what you get because the portions are huge. We ended up not getting dessert because we were full but for sure will be coming back. Thank you to the amazing team you guys have especially our server Cece. Never been and from the beginning gave us suggestions of popular items. We got the Trio Dip , Skillet Burrito & Loaded Fries with a Strawberry Lemonade & Mangonada Margarita with a total of 110$. Worth the price honestly due to the size of our plates and the taste! Can’t wait to check out your new location!
Dona Leti's is more than just a meal...it’s an experience. The food is fresh, authentic, and full of flavor, while the drinks are top-notch and expertly crafted. The wait can be a bit lengthy, but nothing unbearable. Parking is valet-only, but it’s complimentary (don’t forget to tip!). While the pricing is on the higher side, the quality of the food and drinks makes it feel justified. Overall, it’s an experience worth having at least once, though I’m not sure it’s one I’d put into my regular rotation.
We went as a group for my Sister's Birthday Brunch and enjoyed the atmosphere and food. They serve large food portions; I'm sure you will take some home. Now parking is another thing. The parking lot attendants work hard to make valet parking a smooth transition. You cannot self-park because the lot is small. I enjoyed my experience and will return! Keep up the excellent service, Matthew (our attentive waiter)!
This place is amazing. We went on a Tuesday thinking it wouldn't be packed...Wrong! We barely beat the dinner rush. Once I received my drink, which was made very well, I forgot all about the crowd. The food is beyond amazing...the portion sizes are gigantic, so they are sharable. You won't be disappointed at all. The bartenders and staff are friendly and attentive.
This review spans over 3 visits. Let's just say, I don't think there's anything NOT to like on the menu. Every dish that was tried on all 3 visits by every party involved superceded every expectation. And I do mean EVERYTHING!! From the food, to the drinks, to the desert (see pics). Our servers on all 3 visits were super attentive, friendly & supplied us with nothing but pos vibes 👌🏾🫶🏾 Server CiCi was my absolute fav. Other reviews stated that it's overpriced or expensive. Not so considering you can probably get at least 2/3 meals out of 1 (unless you're a big back 🤣). The juices are AMAZING!! The lime/cucumber auga fresca is the truth 😍 I can't speak for the alcohol bc I didn't partake. But they're huge & look amazing. Great music & great energy. The only downside is the parking. Other reviewers have shared accurate insight on this. And the wait times vary. Weekday after lunch time, seated right away. Saturday around 3pm was an hour and a half wait. Another Saturday around 4 was told 45 min but was seated within 15. Overall, I def recommend this spot. Especially considering I'm a hard food critic. SALUTE TO THE LATE & GREAT DONA LETI !! ✨️💖
The wait is usually long because this place is so popular. It is a fun, party atmosphere with fun drinks and great food. I love the chips and salsa. The portions are huge. I took half home. The drinks are stout. A lot of people come here to celebrate their birthday because the staff makes a big deal about it. I love it! Try to sit at the bar, it is full service and no wait! Oh also, the parking lot it always full, just valet, it is so much easier.
The service is impressively attentive despite the crowd. We chose for takeout and our server checked in with us promptly , and made great menu recommendations since it was also our first visit. The food we ordered was amazing and enormous. We ordered one beef burrito and one chicken quesadilla plate , which could easily feed 4-5 people. Will definitely come back to try other items on the menu and the dine-in experience.
Today was my first time visit this place, there was a 35 minute wait, my friend and I were kinda seated quickly than the 35 minute wait, however the wait for for the food actually took longer than expected, it was TOTALLY worth the wait. Thumbs up to Adriana, she was a sweetheart. Will definitely recommend. Will be visiting again.
Doña Leti’s in Houston is ALWAYS worth the 2-hour drive. The staff is so friendly and welcoming, and the food is bomb every single time. We’ve never once regretted making the drive because the experience is consistently that good. Big shoutout to our server Julian. He truly makes every visit special and always goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. His energy and service honestly make the whole experience even better. This place never misses. If I could give it a 20/5, I would without hesitation. We’ll keep coming back again and again.
I HAVE TO SAY THIS IN ALL CAPS. THE DRINKS ARE 10/10!! They are very strong and the flavors are amazing. I have been here multiple times for taco Tuesday and every drink I get is fire!! I always get the Pastor tacos with the pineapple and I also like the steak tacos. It's like $3 per taco on Taco Tuesdays. Yhe salsa and chips are so good. The spices blend so perfectly. We always clear two bowls of salsa before getting our food. I'm quite ashamed lol. It is very loud in here and very busy, it is very high energy for sure. We always get on the waitlist before coming because if you don't, the wait is very long. It is a smaller building so you are sitting very close to other people, but I don't mind that. I hate the parking. You have to valet park, but they operate on tips only. All the servers were very nice and everybody knows the menu really well. This is definitely a spot that I will come to again and again. I've also ordered their servant, turf eggrolls from Uber eats before and when it got to me, it was still hot and fresh. All their food is amazing. Tens across the board!!!
First time here and definitely won’t be last. Bryan and his team at the bar took great care of us. Provided good recommendations, drinks and food were both good, came in time, customer service was top tier. Now, there’s a long wait time but we got lucky and was able to sit at the bar . The valet parking is a plus. Will be back!
Matthew, shout out to our host of the day Matthew! Appreciated his customer service as my first time. A waiter that makes conversation feel natural is always a plus. Drinks, if you know my reviews, you know I'm there for drinks lol. They were strong and had me feeling good! Food was good and filling! A lot of food for the price as it gives a lunch and dinner and maybe tomorrow portions🤣. Parking is disrespectful and not much seating. Last time was a 2 hour wait in February so we hit it up as soon as it opened and no wait but quickly got full so a lot had the same idea.

I VISITED FROM CALI. Portions BIG, vibes on point, the salsas were a little different for my taste buds BUT the chips & salsa given did not disappoint soooooo good!!!
The place is small, and we had a wonky table that was falling apart BUT the drinks were so good and the food. Our server was so kind and gave us samples of each drink that we wanted to try and they all honestly were so good it was hard to choose but ended up with the ocean blue & strawberry limeaid. We started with the surf & turf egg rolls which were amazing would definitely reorder. We also got the jalapeño burrito & surf & turf nachos - portions are HUGE and worth the price.
I get the line out the door. I was honestly go full after the chips and queso that the Papusa taco went right in a to go container!! So did the birra tasting plate my husband got. Flavors are amazing. Portion ginormous!! The only criticism I could have it that when you reheat anything the amount of oil is actually just so much. Like too much. But dear lord tasty!!
Excellent food and healthy portions. All of our meals were delicious and our server was attentive even though the restaurant was slammed. The drinks were also beautiful and tasty. 100% this place deserves 5 stars if judged on its food and service and ambiance. (It’s cool inside) HOWEVER, I deducted one star for the absurdity that is the parking situation at this restaurant. Turning into the place is also bizarre and feels like an accident waiting to happen. (While waiting for our table we watched 3 people almost get rear ended turning in to the lot. Lots of angry honking) We went on a busy night so I fully expected to wait, we were number 2 on the wait list and we still waited for over an hour and 20 minutes for a table and there isn’t much for a waiting area except outside and it was pretty cold the day we went.
This place offers delectable dishes. My partner and I visited on a Sunday, and although there was a 35-minute wait, the complimentary valet service was a pleasant touch. The ambiance was set with a blend of English and Spanish tracks. However, they could benefit from upgrading their speaker system or toning down the bass—it was a tad overpowering for the existing setup. A noticeable drawback was the large fan directed at our table. We requested an adjustment, but the waitress indicated it wasn't possible, causing our meals to cool rapidly. Nevertheless, the generous portions made up for it. The two of us ordered, yet the servings could easily feed six. We left with ample leftovers. If you're nearby, give this place a shot. While ambiance might not be its strongest suit, the flavorsome meals certainly are.
the food was amazing, but I’m mainly here to talk about ava she by far had the best customer service I’ve ever seen in the food industry. she was respectful , helpful and extremely fast with her work. If I ever came back I would ask for her again
Food was great as well as the service. A little loud but if it's too loud, you are too old. Big screen TVs all around. All the food was great and the server took the time to explain the menu and choices to us. I love the decor also as you can tell since I forgot the pics of the food but got the wall art. Lol.
The food and service were spot on. However, the parking was bad and the loud music. If you like the loud music the this is your place. The food was delicious and gave a lot of food that we took some home. I’ll recommend this place because the food and drinks are something to crave for
Really 3.5 but I'll be nice. I don't buy into the hype of others. The best thing about this was the portion size. The food was ok and the service was ok. I personally wouldn't spend that much on food again but i can see why people would go because the vibe is there. The food seems like it'd be better if you're drinking though. My burrito and egg roll didn't really have the flavor i was expecting. Just a bunch of things seemingly thrown together. . .Not bad but I'll only go again if I'm not paying for my food.
Amazing!!!!! Food is tasty and comes out fast. Portions are big! Atmosphere is great!!! Tho the birthday celebrations from the staff are in abundance and the song gets annoying. Would be 5 stars if parking were better. This is a valet only restaurant. So uber or risk getting booted. While valet is free/tips, there is quite a wait for valet on weekends- we went on a Friday night. Luckily, we had reservations and timing worked out perfectly, as we were in valet we checked in and once at the front of the valet line our table was ready.
Pretty cool place. Vibes are nice. I had the quesabirria tacos. They were delicious. I also tried the surf and turf egg rolls. They were ok but when dipping sauces top notch! Tried a few different drinks. The Heavyweight was STRONG! Henny island was delicious! They have complimentary valet parking. They also give free chips and salsa and the salsa is delicious! I would go again to try something else on the menu
My husband had the birria sampler plate while I had the birria gorditas. The food was really good. The only few issues I had was that one of the gorditas were really hard and even if I dipped it in the soup it didn't help. Also the place was really loud. I know there's some people who like loud places but it was so loud I could barely hear what my husband or the waitresses were telling me sometimes. But other than that the place and the food was great
First time visiting Doña Letis and it was a great experience. The food was amazing as well as the drinks. The only thing is that this is a busy spot, the wait was about 2hrs on a Saturday night. Thankfully we were able to get seats at the bar. The service was great, they check on you very often.
I often drive past this place on my way home, but I finally went in. My goodness!! This place is a vibe. The atmosphere is on 💯. Our server, Alonzo, was very accommodating and down to earth. He was always around to assist when needed. The drinks here are off the chain. DO NOT get the humongous burrito, unless you're starving, lol. Mine had too much bacon in it, but it was still good. I saw a bunch of other plates and the food looked delicious. This is definitely a must try place. I'm definitely coming back, only this time I'll order something regular sized.
I get the line out the door. I was honestly go full after the chips and queso that the Papusa taco went right in a to go container!! So did the birra tasting plate my husband got. Flavors are amazing…

Im only saying 3 because it is so loud I absolutely could not even think 😫 it was taco Tuesday to be fair ! My server was amazing Josue and so were both of the host The portion sizes are huge lol I got the shrimp sizzling burrito and honestly I took most of it home Josue did say yesterday was unusually busy, but he offered me samplers of drinks and highlighted the best items to my preference. So if he is avails I highly recommend you see him. The general manager stopped by to make sure everything was good during the wait and happy hour 2-5P
I went in because I was craving enchiladas verdes. I made sure to ask the girl at the front if they were enchiladas verdes/suizas with the green sauce (as per the restaurants pictures and description it seemed to be a yes) and the girl also said they were. Not only was the food an additional 10-12 min late (which isn’t a huge issue since they seemed super packed at that hour) but the food i received was nowhere resembling enchiladas suizas. I have no idea where the green salsa is supposed to be in, or the tortillas themselves or why there’s pieces of grilled chicken and bean scattered all over such a very simple and totally different looking meal I asked for. I had to throw it away, definitely a waste of $30. Third picture for reference of what enchiladas verdes/suizas should look like.
This was our first time trying this place. The pupusas lacked flavor, but the rice was excellent—definitely a 10/10! My husband got a burrito; the first bite was mostly fat, but overall he rated it a 7 out of 10. He also had the ‘No Way José’ but couldn’t taste any alcohol in it. He ordered ‘The Don’ as well, but they were out of Don Julio Reposado. We asked to substitute, and they went ahead with it—but charged us for an extra shot without letting us know. They do have AC units, but the place was still uncomfortably hot.
I visited this location to celebrate my birthday yesterday. It was between here and two other restaurants. I wanted something fun versus upscale so this was my pick. I walked in, put my name on the waitlist and waited. It was cold inside so we went outside. I decided to get a drink and go inside, while I was waiting for my drink I noticed several people who came in after us, already sitting down. I went to the host stand to ask where I was in place only for her to reply “oh we sent you a message 18 minutes ago.” I never got said message, she replied “well we did.” She asked for my number only to find out she input the wrong number! She said we would be the next sat and sat us at a table by the door and the vent. While she was seating us I told my guy I didn’t want to sit there but I had already waited 20 minutes over my original seating time due to the hosts error! An employee did ask if everything was ok when I went back to the bar to pick up my drinks, I explained and all he could said was “sorry, I’m sure you will be seated soon.” That whole experience was a huge let down. I should have stuck to the original restaurant so I could at least have started my birthday meal with a better experience. Server was great, food and drinks were great. Ava-Cado the host and Erin the manager, who never once came to the table, are ineffective and inefficient at their position. I actually never saw Erin table touch any tables. Not sure if that’s a managerial requirement at this establishment. Would not recommend this place for a birthday, just a place to eat if you happen to be in the area.
It's a TikTok famous place. Enough said. If that's your vibe, then it's a great place, if not, then you will not like the long wait, the rushed service and crammed tables. food was ok but not worth…

First time here for TACO TUESDAY. They advertise a $3 taco Tuesday special ALL DAY. We got there at 730pm and was told by our waitress the special only last through happy hour🥴. Confused by the news, I went to another server and asked about the special and she explained that apparently there's mini tacos and happy hour ones. We asked for the $3 so idk where the confusion comes. With the tip, we informed our waitress we wanted mini tacos not the ones she was telling us that was now $5. So to newbies You must buy 5 mini tacos. Apparently be adamant you want the $3mini tacos because if not, youll be told the special is over🥴 As far as the food , the tacos were good and the atmosphere was upbeat. I suggest making a reservation because even on a regular Tuesday the wait can be long
Food was great and so was service. However, none of the cooks wore hair nets so hair was in my food! I was really disappointed as the food was really good but I completely lost my appetite. The manager however, removed the order from my bill, gave me a $10 coupon for my next visit and a shot of tequila for my troubles. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.
Honestly, there's nothing to brag about here aside from the portion sizes. The presentation is nice, but the food itself is mediocre at best. While the cocktail décor looks great, the drinks were weak and underwhelming. The parking lot is chaotic. I was fortunate enough to snag handicap parking up front and find a seat at the bar, but I overheard the wait time was 1-2 hours. There's no way I would wait that long to eat anywhere. The restrooms are in need of a facelift, which was disappointing. Overall, there are far better Mexican food options in the area.
THE WORST restaurant in Houston to pick up orders from. If you’re drive for UberEats or DoorDash, DECLINE all orders from here. All three times I’ve been here I waited more than 15 minutes to pickup the customer’s order. The parking for delivery drivers is a joke. Parking spots so slim, you can’t even open your door ( I drive a compact car BTW). Greed for online money won here as they can’t keep up with in-house and online orders.
So this place is overrated and there meat ain’t fresh at all they just warm there meat up and called that fresh. Also check your food for extra items that you may not ask for, i ordered me some tacos and I asked for no onions of course they don’t listen and when I check my other tacos, I found a rubber band so I would advise you guys to check your food before you eat.
Ordered the birria tacos… not sure if they were having a bad day but the food was terrible. One bite immediately spit it out. Ordered to go due to me having to be to an activity I had planned. Once I got to where I was going I wanted to have a bite and was immediately disappointed. Ordered the pineapple strawberry drink only to be told as I’m walking out of the door that the drink has to be freshly made and they don’t have any. Wish I was told that prior to paying I had no time to wait as it took about 15 minutes to get change back for paying for my order. So just a waste of money all around in my opinion. The customer service was welcoming though.
