We had a wonderful dinner at Outback Steakhouse! There was a small misunderstanding when we placed our order because we weren’t very clear, but the server and the manager immediately took care of it without any hesitation. They corrected the order right away and made sure we were happy. It was truly an unexpected and pleasant surprise. The service (Alaiza)was excellent, and you can really tell the manager (Marc)has strong leadership and management skills. My wife and I were both very satisfied with the experience. We truly appreciate their professionalism and kindness. Highly recommended!
Came on Veterans day so its very busy. Food was so good. The beef is juicy, the bread come with butter is a must. Staff is nice and helpful. Will comeback and highly recommend 👍
Great food, hot and fresh. I liked the vibe, energetic but not loud. My server, Naija, was super attentive and kind! I was actually really impressed. Thanks for a great experience!
Good service, excellent atmosphere and delicious food and drinks.
The food was delicious. I had the pork chops, and it was divine. The brocoli was so soft! All the staff were very courteous and friendly. Our sodas were topped up without being asked, which showed a level of efficiency.
The food was delicious! I ordered the Ribeye, and it was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The sides were generous and tasty, especially the garlic mashed potatoes and the Aussie Fries. And of course, the Bloomin’ Onion was a must-have starter!
Good dining experience at Outback. Celeste was our waitress and was wonderful. The food was tasty and our meat cooked to perfection. Will definitely return.
We arrived at the restaurant with just an hour to spare before closing time, but the atmosphere was still lively, filled with the scents of delicious dishes being prepared. Despite the impending end of their shift, the staff greeted us warmly and displayed remarkable patience as we browsed through the menu, making thoughtful recommendations along the way. Our food was served promptly, and each dish was presented beautifully, showcasing the chef's attention to detail. Throughout our visit, our server remained attentive without being intrusive, checking in on us regularly to ensure that our experience was nothing short of exceptional. It was evident that they genuinely cared about providing a memorable dining experience, even as the clock ticked closer to closing time.
Dated but who cares! Shout out to our server Zach! Food was great I had Chicken and shrimp pasta, bf had steak and courtesy bday cake! Amazing food and service altogether. Recommended!
James was on point always checking in super sweet! Made my birthday!
Celeste was fantastic! She was so friendly, attentive, and made our dinner at Outback Steakhouse feel special. She gave great recommendations, checked on us just the right amount, and even fixed a small order mix-up with a smile. Her kindness and professionalism made the whole experience awesome.
Amazing dinner experience. Friendly and fast service. Food taste great. The cheesecake is the best.
We had the most amazing time. Our server Talia was absolutely amazing. Made sure we had our drinks filled at all times - made sure my Grandson was feed first and was very hospitable and friendly. I strongly recommend you ask for Talia. The food was good and so was the atmosphere.
Tonight’s experience at Outback Steakhouse truly reminded me what exceptional hospitality looks like. I placed a large to-go order after a long day—salmon, a full rack of ribs, pasta, the works—and when I got home I realized two of my sides were missing. I called the restaurant fully expecting a quick refund… and instead was met with genuine care. Tari, who had actually walked my order out to my car, answered the phone. Without hesitation, he apologized and went above and beyond—offering to replace both sides and include a dessert, delivered to us. As a working mom heading home with dinner, that kindness meant more than he probably realizes. As someone who works in hospitality myself, I know how many moving parts there are, and how rare it is to see service handled with this level of warmth and accountability. Tari turned a small hiccup into an outstanding experience. Huge shout-out to Tari and the team—this is how loyalty is built. Thank you for taking such great care of your guests!
I ordered Outback through Uber Eats and unfortunately my food arrived not hot. Instead of brushing it off, I called the Outback directly and spoke with the manager her name is Courtney I believe and I want to give her a huge shout-out. Courtney immediately took action and genuinely cared about figuring out how to make my experience better. That right there is what real customer service is about. Everyone is human and mistakes happen, but what truly matters is how those mistakes are handled and she handled it with professionalism, empathy, and leadership. I truly appreciate you, Courtney. Outback Steakhouse has a great leader in charge at that location. While Uber Eats wouldn’t allow me to update my original review, I did make sure to let them know about the excellent customer service I received directly from Outback. Thank you for turning a frustrating moment into a positive experience. 💛
Outback is a good solid chain with their own twist to classic American fare found at similar places. I haven't been in years and the onion blossom is still everything I remember it to be: a little greasy, crispy and full of flavor. Our server, Collin(I think) was amazingly awesome and attentive. I didn't get a pic but my entree was the 6oz sirloin and shrimp on the barbie and it was tasty and tender. The margarita flight was pretty good too. Outback is definitely a great option for a not the exact same place variety with a few unique curated options.
Came for the prime rib and. Left happy as can be!! Tried the flight of margs and they were surprisingly really good. Prime rib never disappoints medium rare with au jus and horseradish best thing ever! Tylia was our server great service.
Had lunch at a retirement party. Food was good. I’m sure if I dined alone I may have been able to experience it better. Recommend.
We showed up with a party of 12 on a Monday night during the Christmas holiday week. While the restaurant was empty - may've only been the owner, a busboy, and 1 or 2 folks in the in kitchen - we were waited on graciously, accurately, and quickly. To the person - all 12 meals were really good. Service was personable and great. Glad we found Fornos - and glad it was open during the quiet holiday week.
It was my first time at this restaurant, and I was highly impressed. I almost felt like I walked into an elegant restaurant in Italy. This is definitely a place if you wanted to take a special someone to where you feel fancy but not way too fancy. And if you are a wine drinker, they have a smorgasbord of wine.
A Hidden Gem Worth Revisiting Just had an incredible experience at this family-run restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and it was clear that many of the patrons were regulars who knew each other and the staff by name. That kind of atmosphere says a lot. The space itself is cozy and romantic, with soft music playing in the background—perfect for a quiet dinner or date night. It’s rare to find a place that nails both the food and the vibe, but this one does. Highly recommend.
Whether it’s a romantic dinner, a family reunion, or a birthday celebration, this is a great place to go. Last night, we celebrated a birthday dinner with a group of 10, and the food and service were amazing as always. Jose was our waiter, and he did a fantastic job, kind, patient, and attentive to all our requests throughout the evening. Thank you so much for such an amazing night!
I recently dined at the authentic Italian restaurant, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The ambiance transported me to Italy, with rustic decor, soft Italian music, and friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The menu offered a wide range of traditional Italian dishes, and I opted for the classic Margherita pizza. The pizza was a masterpiece of simplicity, with a perfectly thin, crispy crust, fresh tomato sauce, and the creamiest mozzarella cheese. Each bite was a burst of flavor, and I couldn't get enough. For dessert, I indulged in a creamy tiramisu that was a heavenly way to end the meal. The coffee-soaked ladyfingers and velvety mascarpone were a match made in dessert heaven. The wine selection was impressive, featuring a variety of Italian wines that perfectly complemented the meal. The attentive and knowledgeable sommelier guided me to the perfect pairing for my dish. The service was exceptional, with attentive waitstaff who were passionate about sharing the best of Italian cuisine. The whole experience was a memorable journey through Italy's culinary delights, and I can't wait to return to this authentic Italian gem.
This is a brilliant little spot. After frequenting for a little over 4 years at least once a week, I feel, I’m well placed to share a few words. Off the bat, service is always good (familiar faces are found) food is always great, it’s always served hot, good to taste and sensibility sized. The restaurant gets busy quick from 11am at lunch but never had an issue getting a table. Prices are good too. Perhaps one of the best Italian places in town.
Wife and I have been hoing here for many years. Great food, great wine list and much more wine off the list. They're knowledgeable and make good suggestions
Went to Fornos for a quick lunch and had a great experience. As we were in a hurry we ordered the red snapper dish directly and they served as super fast. The food was quite complete with pasta and veggies and was quite filling. Need to try next time with more time to explore the other dishes.
A quiet little Italian place tucked in an off shopping center in Westheimer. The food is delicious - one of my favorite places for pizza and Italian basics. The service is friendly and attentive. The vibe is a bit sleepy - I have a feeling this place caters to the lunch rush for all the surrounding businesses. Dining in is quiet (which is our go to when we don't want to cook, but also don't want to hassle with a loud restaurant), but service is friendly and wine list is decent. Definitely recommend the pizza! Their bread is also amazing.
So we went last night to celebrate my birthday, and I brought my own cake. I was totally okay with serving everything myself since we had to do almost everything on our own anyway. The host said our waitress would be with us soon, but it took a very long time for her to come. She seemed a bit sorry at the beginning for coming late, which was fine—I didn’t feel upset at that moment—but I don’t think she really wanted to serve us. My friend ordered a beer, and no one brought it to us, so we had to ask for it again. Later, she finally came and took our order. I told her I wanted fries instead of sweet potatoes as my side because I had just realized I would be eating cake. After the food came, I still got sweet potatoes. (She did bring the fries later, so there was nothing more to complain about.) Then we ate our food, but no one checked on us even once. No one asked if we wanted a water refill or another beer. My friend actually wanted to order another draft beer and an appetizer to go, but nobody paid attention to us. So we ended up having a really bad experience. After we finished our meal, we tried to get her attention so we could get some to-go boxes and my cake. She gave us the to-go boxes and told us we could pay by ourselves, and that was it. She didn’t even remember that I had handed her my cake at the beginning, so we had to wait again and remind her to bring it to us. We finally got the cake, but she didn’t ask if we needed a lighter for the candles or forks and plates for the cake. (I thought it was common sense that we would need those for a birthday cake.) It wasn’t busy at that time, but we could barely see her. I really felt like I should just do everything myself if possible, because all we did last night was wait and wait and wait—forever. Honestly, I would rather do things myself. We still tipped $10 for the drinks and the things she did bring us, because that was the most we could do to be polite.
I rarely write negative reviews, but service must be improved. We got sat near the bar and had to wave down multiple waiters before our server could come to our table. We also ordered a dessert to-go but it was taken by ANOTHER table which resulted in an extra 20 minute wait. The worst part? It wasn't even crowded in the restaurant. We were just simply forgotten because our bartender/server was busy socializing. Whoever is working at the bar needs an extra person to help them manage their tables. Maybe more staff is needed? No issues with the food, but service left us feeling very disappointed.
Absolutely amazing in person. It’s our favorite Friday night spot. Would be 5 stars but….. Don’t bother with takeout, door dash or uber eats. They have screwed up the order for my favorite dish (crab claws) 7 times outta 10. One time there was no seasoning added. Another, it was soooo lemony. The list continues. Never had a bad second with in-person dinning though. Wine selection is awesome although they don’t have 2 outta 3 wines in stock but no matter since it is a very extensive list. The service is wonderful. Wish I remembered our last 2 servers names. They were on top of everything and were funny at the right moment too. Always tip 40% with these guys. Their pastas & veal dishes are chefs kiss and my son loves the stuffed crab cakes. Highly recommend in-house dinning.
Reviews like this are tough to write. There is so potential, but I’m doubtful things will change as the business has been open for many years. I got a “set in our ways vibe”. This once bustling shopping center, has turned into a desolate area. I wouldn’t be surprised to see tumbleweeds. The entrance itself, is grand. You walk up a few steps to see patio seating on either sides of the entry doors. They also have a ramp for handicap needs. My first issue was the specials board placed outside. Instead of reading specials, or welcoming you into the establishment, it’s simply states to not leave valuables in your car. Not a warm and fuzzy feeling. We went for an early dinner on this particular day, so it was not busy. Only one other table of two were in the restaurant. We were immediately greeted and seated by our waiter. He was extremely friendly, attentive, and helped with suggestions from the menu. He told us he had been there 29 years. The space itself has so much potential. There’s a beautiful mural of old world Italy on a large wall. The lighting is low and intimate. They have decorative wine cellars separating the bar area from the regular eating space. Unfortunately, boxes stacked behind a high backed booth seating area on the opposite corner of the restaurant, took away from the beautiful mural. It was definitely a storage area for wine boxes. As we waited for our drink orders to arrive, I noticed the music did not fit the environment. Britney Spears, Huey Lewis, Maroon 5, and other pop artists played overhead. I would expect an Italian restaurant to have more themed music. Sounds of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin would have been very welcomed. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer. They were very good. They were large and had a tasty cream sauce. Four to a plate, which was perfect to split between the two of us. While we talked and enjoyed a couple of glasses of wine, we looked over the menu and decided to ask our server for suggestions. He was very helpful. He suggested the Chicken Jerusalem for me since I was in the mood for a creamier sauce. Turns out, there was both cream sauce and marinara sauce, so I got the best of both worlds. The food itself was pretty good. The garlic bread was the best. For my aunt and I to dine that evening, the bill was $161 before tip. This was three glasses of wine for each of us an appetizer, our meal, an order of garlic bread, and one tiramisu. I felt the prices were a little high. My aunt had a steak which was $35 by itself. She did not feel it was that great, so at least my meal was better than hers. Before leaving, I headed to the restroom to check out that space. Ceiling tiles were removed and wires exposed, there was trash on the floor, the toilet was not solidly positioned to the floor, and the countertops were littered with debris and extra water. It’s such a shame to have great service and decent food, but have it ruined for things like music and atmosphere. My hope is for someone to see this review and tweak a few things that would be beneficial for their business. Unfortunately, unless I hear things have changed, I will not return. we still tipped our waiter 20%. Like I said, he was a good waiter. Maybe the restaurant is just a little too complacent.
Very disappointed in the food & service here. Would not recommend or return. I ordered The Isabel pizza with prosciutto, goat cheese & arugula. I found absolutely no prosciutto on the pizza at all, the goat cheese was nearly non existent as well, with only a few crumbles. The pizza was covered in a thick layer of arugula, as if trying to hide the absence of other ingredients. This was honestly the worst pizza I have had in years, & I eat a lot of pizza. Other diners in my party were also disappointed in the food, mostly reporting it as bland & unappetizing. Service was poor to say the least, but they do take the liberty of tipping themselves 20% automatically.
Nice decor. Service sucks, we got a pizza, was cold, toppings were poor and almost non existence I ordered chicken cordon blue with angel hair pasta. I was served the chicken with fettuccine noodles. Gross. White salsa was too salty. Vegetables on the plate were raw. Got a creme burlee for desert. Plate was seced dirty on the side, gross. Flavor was flat. They used brown sugar on top that was not completely melted. Service took for ever, they never refill my water, waitress was lazy and unaffecrive. Pooor management. Definitely I will not recommend this place and I will not be back
Hadn't ever been here so we gave it a try after seeing it on our way to work. Our waiter was not good at all, he disappeared often, had to flag him down every time we needed something, like a drink, to order and to get our ticket just to give some examples. As for the food, not worth the price, tomato caprese was not done well at all, tomatoes way to thick, mozzarella almost non existent. I ordered lasagna, which looked like at best two layers, thinnest lasagna I've ever seen, GF ordered her Italian usual, chicken parmesian, veggies were overcooked and used too much oil, chicken was not fresh, tasted like it came frozen from a box. Do not order drinks, there is no bartender, so the waiters make their own drinks and have to bring ice by the glass from the back. Lastly it's time to pay, after chasing him down for our check, our change from 100.00 should have been 39.41 and he only brought us the 39.00 back. Now I know it's just change but please me be the one to decide what let you have. No plans on returning. Well until next time signing off Two Peas.
Here’s my honest review! Atmosphere: The environment is really nice, as well as the seating. The booths were very comfortable. Food & Service: felt extremely let down today with the food and service here. To start, the blooming union was good, but at moments felt like I was just eating grease. I can some what expect this since the unions are fried. Second, me and my gf had ordered ribeyes. I order the new 15oz ribeye they had on the menu. My gf likes her cut medium which when the steak came out it was rare. I like my steaks medium rare. Unfortunately it seemed that who cooked the steak was not familiar to the size of the cut since the outside was cooked but the inside was squishy and rubbery. They were sent back to get cooked longer but did not make the steak any better. We were both having to figure out which bites to eat and not to eat. Overall, not worth the price if I can’t just cut the steak and dig right in. To make things worse, when I told our server things were just ok, she just walked away rather than asking why. Don’t recommend this place unless you just want sides.
My friend and I went to Fornos to get some dinner and catch up. While the food was decent, our experience was soured at the end. After looking at our checks we found out that they took it upon themselves to auto charge us both gratuity by over 20%! None of us even had a say in the matter. What’s worse is when we brought it up, he and the manager(?) dragged their feet to resolve the issue. At the end, they handed us two dollars each and said that's all they could do. I can understand auto gratuity for a party of six or more, a special birthday celebration, heck, even if we ordered a bottle of wine. But this situation for two people was ridiculous. I would encourage everyone to glance at their checks at the end. Needless to say we will not be back.
If you have the chance to skip this place. Do it. Service is ZERO and they auto add gratuity. Food is not even good. I had a fly in Drink, nobody came to ask anything. Terrible terrible. Never come back here I didn’t eat my food because it didn’t taste right. Still presented on my bill
