I came for the Hololive collab promotion, but this is just a fun place to go. Staff is very friendly and attentive, the place is clean, and the sushi is ready as soon as you sit down. Even if you don’t like what’s on the conveyor belt, you can just order off the tablet menu and they will express deliver your order. If you eat enough plates, you also get a fun little capsule toy (gacha). It does get pretty pricey if you’re a big eater like me, so unless you have the funds to spare, I would save a visit here for a special occasion or for their promotional events to make it worth it. Definitely gonna come again when my wallet has healed lol.

I highly recommend dining in to experience the exceptional service. The convenient screen (for refills and assistance) ensures that your needs are always met. The soups are particularly outstanding - definitely a highlight of the meal! And I must say, the robot was the icing on the cake, Loved it!❤️

Though it isn't as fresh, it tastes really good, and the experience you get, the atmosphere, I've been to a Kura in Japan before it is similar but not identical, I have gone here multiple times and it is great every time I go.

Amazing customer service. Our first time here and the waitress explained the ordering process on screen and the conveyor belt. Many sushi choices however any of the plates were empty. Sushi rolls were good. Definitely affordable. Clean restaurant. Bathrooms available. I’m in love with the robot. Would definitely come back!

This place was so much fun!!! Ended up spending like $130 but the experience was so worth it! I LOVE the little robot server and the food was so good. I think my favorite was the garlic tuna or the beef. My kid loved the little honey milk tart. This place was amazing and I can't wait to go back again.

Food was good and customer service was excellent! A revolution sushi restaurant. Super love their robot delivering your drinks. Also the conveyor to your table is fantastic. They have an option to fast track and order specific items you like that’s not available in the conveyor.

I went here for my birthday, I was very happy and pleased! Though the price of plates have went up over years, it's a good portion, and they're very yummy. Only complaint about the food in general is how it may be cold by the time it gets to you, and the restock on the conveyor belt isn't frequent, but nothing that ordering from the screen can't solve. The robot is very cute. I loved ordering drinks from it! But only complaint is that it may swoosh/splash around open top drinks, and make a bit of a mess with them. On one occasion it got lost, but rerouted itself. Don't let that deter you, it's a unique and amusing experience. I loved the atmosphere --- it's better created with friends and family. Ginger is on the table for your use, and every 5 plates you get this cute animation. While things are mostly self serve, don't forget the staff! They were speedy and friendly as well. Now, I will say, expect to pay some good money for this service, but it's definitely worth it. :]

Their menu prices are a tiny tad lower while they are also more generous in giving you more wasabi and ginger. It's close to Beltway 8 and therefore easily and quickly accessible. Same great customer service. This is my favorite among three locations in the Greater Houston area. This location has many more seats. Therefore, unlike the Katy Asian Town location, you'll never have to wait for people to leave to get seated.

Customer service is great. Very clean and very few wet spots in the store. Food is always great and filling.

If you’re in the mood for something specific, the touchscreen ordering system is super easy to use, and orders are delivered directly to your table via a second express belt. The sushi itself is solid, especially considering the price. Favorites like salmon, tuna, and shrimp nigiri are consistently fresh, and creative rolls like the Spicy Garlic Tempura or the Seared Salmon with Miso Mayo add a bit of flair. Don’t expect high-end omakase quality, but it’s definitely a step above your average conveyor belt spot. Portions are small (typically two pieces per plate), which makes it easy to try a lot of different options without overcommitting. Plus, there’s a gamified element—every five plates, you get a little animation on the screen, and after 15, you win a small toy from the prize machine. It’s especially fun if you’re dining with kids or a group. Service is friendly and efficient, and the restaurant is usually clean and well-maintained. That said, wait times can be long during peak hours, and parking in the area can sometimes be a hassle. Overall, Kura on Westheimer is a great casual spot for sushi lovers looking for a quick, fun, and relatively affordable meal. It’s not fine dining, but it’s a reliable go-to for a satisfying sushi fix.

I’m loved this modern Sushi restaurant. We visited quite a few revolution sushi restaurants while we lived on the West Coast. But have not found any good ones here. I wanted to give this place 5 stars, but couldn’t because of quality of the Sushi rice. To me most of the pieces broke off and the rice was too dry. It didn’t stick together. Fish quality was decent, but the presentation could use an improvement. Overall great concept and I will bring my family here to try. Loved their robot delivery of my drink. Also the conveyor to your table is fantastic. I wanted to encourage the owner/manager just to make a few improvements and this will definitely be one of the best sushi places in Houston

I came in on a Thursday at 7 pm. Placed a to go order and it took 56 mins to get the order. I was 4 mins away from canceling my order. It was a $70 order and it was all cold. I ordered tempura and crunchy type rolls and they were all cold. The only warm item was the ramen. Second time visiting after 3-4 years and was pretty disappointed in the salmon fish quality , wasn’t too fresh. The taste was okay , but the rice was cold cold. The ramen soup was a total disappointment 2 out of 10. It’s okay for a few sushi dishes if you want something quick and easy to choose at a decent rice . Overall 2 starts for food quality. Personal I think it was decent maybe a 6.5 out of 10 my wife and daughter were disappointed. My daughter said it’s a 4 out of 10 and my wife didn’t eat much.
