What a delightful discovery! Perfect lunch time atmosphere, tucked away, colorful decor, excellent food and very nice people. A new place on my map.

Friendly staff and the food is delicious and authentic. They also have some of the best Horchata I’ve ever had.

Just happened to come upon this place since I was in the area and was hungry. Definitely hit the spot! I placed my order and in less than 15minutes, they had my order fresh, hot , and ready to go. If I am ever in the area again, I will definitely be coming back again.

1st of it’s a small place but the atmosphere was great and also great service. I went with the carne guisada. Meat was tender and the potatoes were nice and soft. All had a nice flavor to eat. The Kolashapan drink was very delicious it’s like a cream soda. Overall food was great and service was great as well. I went right after lunch so it wasn’t that busy but I can definitely see it getting busier during regular lunch time because of the size. Will definitely be going back to try more of the menu

The pupusas here are amazing! I've tried many other places and nothing comes close to this. Authentic, delicious, the best in Houston! You have to try this place. The drinks are great. I always order 2 pupusas revueltas with extra curtido and salsa. And a coke to go with it. Try that any day of the week. Thank me later.

As I walked I was greeted from the friendly staff. The staff were patient and super nice with me ordering my food and me asking questions. The food was a 10/10 for sure the best Salvadorean cuisine in Houston.

Amazing atmosphere and beautiful scenery. The inside is beautifully decorated and I felt so at home here. The staff was even better, the women there were kind, patient, and extremely welcoming. The Salvadorian food was the best Ive ever had. I took a couple cards to pass out to my friends and Family. We came back for seconds as soon as we finished eating. This is going to become our weekly date night. The service was quick as well. We were told that our wait time was 10-15 minutes but we were scarfing down our food in 7. It’s very easy to tell that everything was made fresh. Fantastic restaurant and I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn’t tried it before.

The owner is the sweetest lady in the world. She makes the best pupusas ever! There are lots of Salvadoran decorations around the restaurant which are super cute. She also has her son's drawings around which are adorable. I wish I could rate them higher, they're the best!

I ordered Yuca Frita con chicharron (1st time ever) or was fabulous!! Oh and platano maduro, not too good.

Use to live next door to this place. By far the best pupusas I have had in Houston. But everything I have had ok their menu was good, especially the yuca con chicharon.

Small clean little restaurant on the side of a gas station. We ordered the seafood soup. I was kinda disappointed because it had no vegetables only little seafood itself. It was really SALTY, but had good flavor. The tamale itself had flavor, but more on the mushy side. Their fruit drink is the bomb! Just perfect! Very good service and I believe the owner came to check up on us too ☺️

If It's a Sunday and your looking for some pupusas and desperate then look no further. It's close to 3$ each (which is alot). The pupusas look like two tortillas squished between what should be a pupusa. Not only expensive but you get basically a flat taco. The flavor is okay at best.

Food is not fresh . Bad service. I wasn't given the option to get fresh popusas . Your cook simply came over to the hot plate and was going give me the last three popusas that who knows how long they had been there for. At that point I can chose if I want to continue to buy from you . Can't say I don't have a right to buy from where ever I go . I'm the customer I'm buying. I tried to buy and u tried to sell me something old and not fresh so I have a right to go else where. Thanks for the reply though

Instead of informing me that the order was not complete, her and her friend just stopped and looked at me in silence (this sounds odd to a normal person but this actually happened) . After awkwardly staring at me they continued their conversation until she was done. Then she walked to the back, got my order and placed it on the counter and did not say a word. The place also doesn’t not have working air and smelled horribly. I DO NOT recommend anyone dining at this establishment.

I love my country and our cuisine , unfortunately, this place gets one star just because their hours said 8am and we waited for 20 minutes pass 8am and no one opened the door so sad , I've eating here before , and was excited to show a friend my country's meals.

Visited on 9/19/21 - was really looking forward to trying this place based on the reviews and I traveled from an hour away just to be disappointed. My husband and I arrived and only one person was working. She asked us if it was dine in or take out, we were dining in. She asked us to take a seat and she would bring out the menus shortly. After 20 minutes seated we still had no menus. There were two other people seated, also seemed to be waiting. However, people that were walking in to order for take out were having their orders taken right away and told it would be about 15 minutes. We ended up leaving after close to a 30 minute wait. Would not recommend visiting as customer service is really lacking.

The tamales were utterly unedible I do not reccomend this place to eat it left me in shock how it looked nothing like the picture on the menu and when the tamales where brought they were cold. Out of every place i've been too this place makes me sick
