This place was so damn good! Move over Ostioneria Michoacán this is my new spot for Mexican seafood. Everything was great! I had the camarones a la diabla and also the camarones a la cucaracha. So much flavor. The service was good too.

I saw a video on tiktok recommending this place and wanted to try it out. I tried their specialty shrimp and loved it so much. The shrimp is not too spicy but the flavor is on point. Such a spacious restaurant and kid friendly. It was not too much time waiting for our food and the waiter staff was friendly. I will come back again soon.

The charola trompo was fire; it has a lot of flavor. I ordered a trompo with flour and corn tortillas and 2 lemonades. I couldn’t finish eating all that, but it was worth it. Our waitress, Fernanda, was very polite and kind!

Great food, lots of dishes to choose from, some of them you can't find them at other seafood restaurants. I tried the Puña Rellena, the atmosphere is festive really good for a weekend experience.

Very delicious food! They plates are always filling. The service is good. Had the plate of carnitas a la Michoacána and they were very moist the time I had them. Rice is very good as well. And the prices are decent not too expensive.

Took Junebug here after seeing this place on Facebook. She loved it! She had the fried snapper and there was nothing left but the bones! They don’t have a lunch menu but they are open for lunch hour. I went for lunch but was not greeted by anyone. I had to go look for someone at the bar that could give us a menu and a table. The hostess was at the back of the dining area on the computer with her back turned. The menus were dirty and mine had a strand of hair which was gross. Their aguas frescas are so delicious! The portions were generous so it’s worth the money for sure. The food was really good too. If they work on training the hostess, I think I would give this place another chance. If you are concerned about Covid-19, be advised that none of the staff members are wearing their face masks properly. Their nose is uncovered so if they sneeze, well you know the rest. UPDATE: they have a lunch menu and staff is more attentive. I have changed my review to 5 stars. Love this place!!

We bought the most expensive dish on the menu that comes with 2 huge pieces of fish, shrimp, mussels, etc. It was similar to boil. It came with a big plate/bowl of rice. It fed all 4 people with a healthy appetite. #DELICIOUS - Did I say Delicious? It did NOT disappoint. From the Point of View of the 1) Amount of Food for the Value, 2) Taste & 3) Time to Receive the Food, It was worth every penny. The to-go containers were aluminum with a good top & strong enough to hold food & keep car from having any smell. We had plenty left to enjoy for 2 more days. Give Fresh Squeezed Lemonade that was also delicious. Wait Staff was Very Nice. Friendly & Helpful. Definitely recommend!

4 of us ate here last night. It was pretty good! I'm not a big fan of seafood, but my husband and friends are. I got the ribeye with bacon wrapped cream cheese shrimp. It was good. The only thing is the steak was a little thin, and the shrimp could have been bigger or one more maybe. The beans were so good! Rice and corn, too. Everything else was pretty good, they said! I don't regularly drink alcohol but I got their strawberry margarita, and one was plenty for me! 😆 good & strong with fruits on top. Overall, I think everyone had a good time. Our waiter informed us that she didn't understand a lot of English, but she got everything right and always checked on us to make sure we were doing okay! I loved her service and made sure she got a good tip. They have a few upgrades they could do to the place with the booth seats and minor things, but overall, I would come back here again 💯

This used to be a mehh chinese Buffett, The food is really good. The Creamy Mushroom Shrimp was super yummy. If only with it came with more bread. But im defiantly going back! For an appetizer they start you off with a Ceviche tostada. I wish they would get rid of the interior design left over from the old Buffett.

The food is good large portions at good price the sauce on the shrimp was tasty. The service was by far the worst thing. Expect to pay 16% tip for parties 8 and up. Since the server was already receiving the 16% tip on a $350 tab I felt she neglected us. The atmosphere is great I feel this restaurant can do better. You will find this place on social media but it’s over hyped.

Food was great however our waitress Dora was extremely slow. We had to wait on plates, forks, straws, refills. When we got tired of waiting we literally had to get up and ask for the stuff from the bar because she never came back. Waiting on her took us about another 45 mins to finish eating. To top it off we had to tip because it was more than 5 ppl. I’m highly disappointed today. We came on at a slow day at 4:00 pm on Sunday but her service was unacceptable making our experience terrible. Definitely would think twice before coming back.

My friend Merrari and I went to El Nayarita's for the very first time. The restaurant was very spacious and the waitress was very courteous and pleasant. I ordered the shrimp fajitas with rice and beans. This was a nice size portion of food. The rice and beans were delicious. The shrimp was cooked well but the taste of the shrimp was "fishy". My friend Merrari really enjoyed the salmon dish which left her full and satisfied. The limenade was on point. I was ecstatic to see that they have karaoke at their establishment. The young man that performed had a beautiful voice. This is definitely a nice hangout spot for a great girl's night out.

I love eating and trying out new spots around Texas. I made over an hour drive to this location because I can across it on TikTok. Overall, I spent close $200. The food was good and the sauce was tasty that came with the shrimp platter. The prices can be a little bit better but it wasn’t ridiculous. The waiter was very nice and sweet. He continued to check on us and we never had to call him to the table. The downside is the flies. They sat us next to a window and my goodness the flies were horrible and there was also dead ones on the floor window board.

I fell in love with the Stuffed Pineapple! It's one of the best foods I've ever had. It's a fresh pineapple stuffed with a medley of delicious seafood and vegetables including mushrooms. It's made in a special homemade coconut cream and topped with melted cheese. It should be a must eat in everybody's bucket list. Helena the bartender is very friendly and attentive. They have national and international beers and they are ice cold. On the other hand, I don't recommend their Tortas. It was definitely the worst Torta I've ever had. In addition, I've never paid $10 for a Torta.

I was very excited to try this place from the vidoes ive seen online. However I ended up disappointed. First let me say I had a very attentive and polite waitress. I ordered a ribeye meal that was to have the cactus salad. My steak was not fresh and it was salty. My cactus salad only had shredded lettuce and a tomato slice, no cactus. The charro beans had no flavor tasted like straight out the can with weenies chopped into it. Rice wasnt even good. My beer was cold and my michelada mix was ok. The atmosphere is drab. My friend was disappointed in her meal as well but she can write her own review.

Was eager to try this place, since I had a craving for Mexican seafood and it is close by. Partner and I were very disappointed. Salmon was tough and tasted old. No fresh veggies. “Mango creme sauce” was more like a sludgy nacho cheese with mango flavor. Ordered oysters, came with ZERO condiments. I had to ask THREE waiters for sauces/condiments—they seemed confused by everything. Salsa and chips tasted like heat lamp food. Salsa wasn’t spicy or fresh at all.

We saw a tiktok about this restaurant and we’re excited to try with high expectations. We were sat down pretty quickly which we were a party of 5, 2 adults, 2 highchairs and 1 child. We ordered guacamole and “jalapeño dip” the Guac was decent, but when the jalapeño dip came out, it turns out it was just queso w/ pickled jalapeños. It was also okay. Now for the entrees, my child had a hamburger with only mustard and pickles. My husband had the whole fried snapper and I had the Filete Nayarita. When the kids hamburger came out it was like they just threw the whole mustard bottle on the hamburger on the top bun and the bottom bun, and then there was cucumbers on the burger. I know cucumbers and Pickles sound similar in Spanish but I think it’s common sense that cucumbers don’t go on a burger. My husbands fried snapper was pretty good, but the filete Nayarita was just not it. I thought it was going to be a creamy chipotle sauce like the picture but all it was was the same queso dip with chipotle added to it. It tasted just like the queso dip and was just too much, it was not good at all. The TikTok just hyped up the entire meal and we were completely let down. On top of that the service was not great. It took us nearly 25 minutes to flag the waitress down to get our ticket to pay for our food and leave in which it was not busy at all. There was only 3 other tables of people. The overall experience was just not great.

Not sure how this place has a 4.2 rating. It feels dirty in here for one. Waitstaff is very monotone. The music is entirely too loud and you can’t even hear yourself speak to the people at your table. The quality of the food is very poor and you’d get much better just staying at home and cooking yourself. Never again.

Started off with the fish tacos. They had decent flavor when you added sauce but had very little shrimp. If they actually used more than 2 cut up medium-small shrimp it might be worth the money. 2nd dish was the shrimp fried rice. It only had 6 small shrimp and a few of them were not properly cleaned. The rice had zero flavor. The bread looked good but was stale as heck! I cant believe they actually served it. I tried to force down the rice because I was actually hungry but couldn't do it. After reviewing the entire menu and ordering some basic items I'm glad I didn't order anything more expensive. The entire menu is over priced. I believe it must the alcohol that keeps them in business because I just don't see people actually coming here and returning for the over priced food. My waitress was very nice and I still tipped her appropriately even though the food was sub-par at best. I know it wasn't her fault.

Shrimp dishes are the same, I was told they are prepare to order the sauce doesn’t have a shrimp flavor when is boiled with shrimp prior to serving it is indeed same shrimp topped with different a sauces that are alll precooked and waiting to be use, makes sense that’s how they avoid throwing away food . So, please don’t lie ! Sauces lock of elemental flavors such bay leaves , olives, cappers and ocasional oregano. Garlic traditional flavors of the seafood cuisine were not present it was total disappointment shrimp doesn’t not need to be cook for more than 21/2 minutes average over cooked shrimp changes its consistency if indeed was cook with the sauce it will definitely elevated the overall dish flavors. It is a shame that a restaurant had to give up on quality when I believe if they would change the way they do some of this dishes they will more repeat and new business. I’m definitely not going and will not refer

The food took a long time to be ready. We had no cutlery for food. She never brought us lemons. The fish fillet was tasteless. I do not recommend this place. El Nayarita I had a disappointing experience at this seafood Mexican restaurant that I can’t overlook. From the moment we arrived, the service was subpar. We waited ten minutes for our waiter to greet us, and when he finally did, he brought out burnt tortilla chips. Things didn’t improve when it came time to order. It took three different waiters just to get our order placed, and when the food finally arrived, it was a complete mess. We ordered one calamari for two and a couple of drinks, but somehow the order was mistaken for seven people, with the wrong drinks served to us. To make matters worse, the language barrier made communication incredibly frustrating. None of the staff seemed to speak English well, which complicated everything, especially when we tried to ask for the manager. This led to an awkward scene with multiple waiters gathered around, trying to sort out the issue, but it was clear there was a lack of understanding. Despite the chaos, we were charged full price for a meal that was wrong in nearly every way. I ended up having to call my bank to dispute the charges. Overall, it was a thoroughly disappointing experience, and I won’t be returning. This place is definitely not suitable for a nice night out.

Therefore, I had to wait 15 more minutes. The drinks are pretty good , it’s recommended like any other restaurant. Although even afterwards my family still tips even if it’s the worst server ever. Therefore, after finishing eating not even 5 minutes later she cleared our whole table as if she was in a hurry when we still had people eating off of their plates. The server kept giving my family a stare as if we were taking forever to eat when in reality we should have been mad they took forever with the food. We weren’t even demanding, all we asked was for limes and the check afterwards. This lady was probably in her mid 30’s , long hair, Hispanic. Serving tables right in front of the bar on 11/24 around 7:00pm for a table of 6. This was supposed to be my birthday dinner but honestly it was one of the worst dinners I’ve ever had. By the way they charge 3% more if you pay by card. Such a scammer restaurant.

Went for lunch and had pasta/ceviche, which the pasta was actually decent but when it came to the ceviche it was so salty and sour that it felt like literally drinking an expired lime buzzball. The service wasn’t great including the manager who never came to apologize about the sour ceviche.The atmosphere is that off a rundown bar. Would not recommend unless you are hangover from last night and need food asap.

Terrible experience. Ordered shrimp empanadas, chicken fried rice, and a shrimp tostada. None were safe to eat. Allergens weren’t listed, empanadas tasted expired, and when I asked for the tostada without cucumbers (allergy), they refused to accommodate. Sent back every dish, still charged $66. This wasn’t just bad service—it was unsafe. Management/ownership needs to address food quality, safety, and staff training ASAP

I do not recommend this place !! First the waitress didn't come check on us when we tried to get her attention. food was not good, way too overpriced!!! then we get charged a 15% gratuity when on the menu states 5 or more we had a table of 4. I will NEVER return to this establishment!!!!!

Terrible service. Waited upfront for a very long time and no one waiting on us everyone just kept walking by us. The food is terrible, my food was cold even the fries. I would never recommend or come back to this place. As I am writing this I still waiting the utensils I ordered 15 minutes ago.

The food is over cooked and may wanna keep an eye on the ( shrimps ) they use old bad stuff, look at the color of ur food before u start eating .. my experience was so bad the I was embarrassed on bringing my whole fam for a bday lunch. So if u can avoid this place do ur self and fam a favor. Giving it a 1 star because this business charges you more for items than what the price on their menu. I ordered a molcajete de mariscos price on the menu was 47.99. However the restaurant charged me 57.99

We searched for a good place to hace lunch, El Nayarita has 4.2 in google reviews but also it is mentioned in Tiktok , so we went. Ah what a bad experience, my wife and son asked for a parrillada, they had good flavor but plates looked so poorly served, then my son asked for tacos of asada, they were the poorest tacos I have seen in the whole USA, posted a picture for you to see how much meat the put in there, very bad experience, the place is overpriced, you definitely do not get the food according to the price. That taco was so ridiculously served, OMG, Management of this place I hope you read this review and give my money back!!!

I thought I would try this place after fb suggested and tik tok. Waitress waa rude like if she didn't want to work and that's after i caught her and another talking and looking at our table. If they will be criticizing someone don't make it obvious. Chips were oily, you can taste the oil on them, salsa was just tomatoes. Food was bland and tasteless..no flavor at all. I had to return my dish after one bite. Never again will i eat there.

Fajitas were ok. My wife's shrimp cocktail tasted like tomato water with vinegar. My daughter's Camarones A La Diabla also had an awful taste. Drinks were decent. Told manager Elena about the bad taste in cocktail and she said she couldn't do anything about it because "the cook" said he wasn't taking it back. It was our first and last time there. We had seen the good reviews online and drove 30 minutes to get there. We could've overcome the bad food if management had acted like they cared. What a shame...

Service was horrible first my raw oyster came out hot I spent the whole time with out a drink with out napkins no one checked up on me I couldn’t even eat because I had no drink don’t have any comments on the food due to me ordering a $90 plate and not eating since It got cold waiting for someone to ask if I needed a refill my wife said the fajita was decent rice was to salty and beans were sour will definitely never be coming here again worst $140 I’ve ever spent

Everything honestly was mediocre, overpriced. The AC seemed to be broken because it felt like I was inside an oven. The beers were not chilled, the salmon was way beyond over cooked. Tostadas were good but that’s about it. Very disappointed with service, and atmosphere. I don’t think I’ll be returning.
